Returning to a regular upload schedule

I've been awfully quite on here. Lots of stuff going on, but mostly my platform has been primarily Twitter and Telegram (channel linked below). My backlog is too long, but I am slowly getting through it piece by piece. I have been infrequently sending WIPs by email, please hit me up on the original email thread or alternatively DM through Telegram regarding any outstanding work. Anyone waiting still on the YCH group picture (last update was November 21 regarding a colour update) you can expect the finalised piece by June.

TL;DR world is in a panic, we're almost at the stage of not being allowed outside at all. I have lots of art still to do but I dunno how long I'll be able to do commissions for (re: coronavirus)

My website has been under development for over a year now, with constant updates and changes to try and make it a presentable folio as well as a functional online store. It's not a huge showcase of work, but I hope to continue adding more content as new projects get underway.
2. NEW PATREON PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT: SUPRA

"SUPRA is an anecdotal visual novel, each painting or series of images depicting a separate story pertaining to an emotional account or thought with anthropomorphic characters (physical or mental) at its centre. It is about the relationship between imagination and reality, and what the true manifestation of the soul reveals."
Each month, I will be uploading a new image and/or piece of writing that will be part of this visual novel (more if possible). By supporting my Patreon, you will be supporting this project develop into a full-fledged physical art book. More information about the work will come to fruition with increased funding and new added content.
What do you get? As a patron not only do you get to see new content for my project each month, but every dollar you give goes directly towards your "credit". Once your credit amount has reached a certain level, then you will receive a basic-coloured drawing of your choosing (provided it doesn't breach my commission terms of service). With each tier you will receive additional benefits, with more being added every time I reach my next goal.
3. COMMISSIONS UPDATE
I get emails and DMs on a semi-regular basis asking about my commission status and when I'll next be open. Having given it some thought I will be doing more YCH auctions and limiting my custom commissions, however the YCHs will be autobuy only and I will decide who gets them based on the merit of content (in other words whatever I think will suit the image most) to avoid bidding competitions. These will be limited to Tier 1 and 2 level commissions as I will still be accepting Tier 3 via my commission form once I have opened it again. I will still open up limited spots for other tier artwork if I have a gap in my queue between YCHs and my Patreon updates.
For reference, please view my commission prices here until I have updated a new sheet. I will be adding a further 10-20% markup to my quotes on commissions so please keep that in mind!

Heya!
Just making a summary of the last three months due to my lack of submissions:
• Artwork launch for furry/kink event held during HCFC 2018 incl. merchandise
• Badge commissions (now closed) for Neo-Tokyo theme (also for HCFC)
• Patreon rework; slower updates have dropped numbers so turning it into a separate entity for side project
• New storefront for shirts and other merch to open on my website
• Looking at exhibition opportunities to expose more of my fine art paintings
• Future commissions will be on a small batch/YCH or theme only basis

End of Year Summary

Dear fam,
This has been an interesting year and definitely one I'll be taking a lot from. I've been doing illustration as a means of income for over 18 months now and I've now got a grasp for what works and what doesn't. I'm lucky to have such an interest from everyone despite my niche subject matter and content, however; I plan on moving onward and upward. 2018 is going to be the year I push myself and make my mark known in the broader furry and fetish community. You can expect to see more stylistic improv and development, as well as broadening my scope of interests. There's been a few things I've been sitting on for far too long and finally want to get off the ground.
I was gonna wait til the new year to spam y'all with new work but figured everyone will be busy drunk and/or hungover to look at FA and whatnot. I'll be busy myself with an exhibition starting mid-Jan so it may be quiet for the first couple of weeks.

Patreon Launch - Stage 1

So, having completely neglected FA accidentally I thought I'd give everyone a run down of what I will be offering on Patreon now that it's been live for a month. Before you say anything, no I won't be shafting all of my work behind a pay wall, I will still upload work monthly with most of that being commissions, however my personal work (namely that of unpublished drawings, WIPs and upcoming projects) will be predominantly on this platform.
Why am I jumping on-board the Patreon bandwagon? Because it's a useful resource and whilst some people might not be able to afford full commissions they can choose to support me through this site and see content they wouldn't normally otherwise. More significantly, Patreon will be my launchpad wherein things like graphic novel illustrations, concept art and new merch will be funded through. It will allow me to actually start following through on my own initiatives rather than back-benching them because I want to earn something for my work instead.
Below is a quick run through of what I will be doing.
>> STAGE 1 <<
Tier 1 - Unlimited
This initial stage will be the ideas platform for gauging interest. Content will include personal sketches and unfinished work, eg. graphic novel concept art (for a project currently underway), new shirt and merchandise to receive feedback on and regular WIPs of commission work.
Tier 1 rewards:
1. All patrons will have access to my sketches, rough ideas and other projects in development.
>> NEXT STAGE <<
Locked: Required 20 patrons at Tier 1 to unlock Tier 2
Once the cap for the first stage is met, a second tier will be unlocked which will allow patrons to access full resolution images and a suggestion box (the function of which will be used to determine content for YCHs and other work).
Tier 2 rewards:
1. All patrons will have access to my sketches, rough ideas and other projects in development.
2. You will receive access to one full resolution image a month, as well as the ability to contribute to the content suggestion box.

Due to the overwhelming response to opening up for commissions last month, I will be pouring over the submissions into this month's block to catch up. As of yet I haven't announced badges (for the same reason) but come closer to the date of a major con I will be opening for them again.
I've also started a Patreon page, however it's still in the works and only one Tier is available. Reason for this being is that currently I'm only using it as a side venture to fund personal projects, but at this stage it'll be more for WIPs and sketches of work I wouldn't otherwise post.

Considering how many positive comments I've received from people about my badges, I'm now going to make them a viable commission option! I'll have to form them separately just so I can keep my submissions in check, but once it's been updated you'll be able to access it through my Twitter DeusExMoose when I announce it.
As for opening up commissions again, I've realised I need to give a set time frame for people to submit their interest, otherwise I'll be catching up forever on people who submit forms intermittently. I will keep opening for more work in monthly blocks. Each individual selected for a commission block will be informed via email and work will commence no later than a fortnight after payment.

A couple of weeks ago I attended FurDU (Furry Down Under) as one of the guests of honour, and I'm convinced it was my best convention to date. I brought along heaps more work to sell, with much regards to InkedFur who did an astounding job with printing, and having a much more professional approach going by my first experience as a dealer two years back it was a lot of fun meeting new people and having Kendo by my side selling my wares. Thank you. <3
In under three months time I'll be heading to a new con debuting in Sydney, Harbour City Fur Con. I will be starting a few new projects to align with the convention and it's "vaporwave" theme. So if that's something that tickles your pickle, watch this space.

I'm really glad to see a strong interest in my new work, means I'm doing something right haha. That being said, I think I need to make something transparent when it comes to creating said work, in particular the content involved. It's probably dead obvious to the majority of my watchers and I've even mentioned it in the commission form, but my work generally has strongly featured kink or fetish themes. That doesn't mean it always has to be "go hard or go home" nor even adult in nature, but some element needs to be present.
For example, motorcycle gear is a popular fetish item but it can be SFW in most contexts, or such as a pool toy in the relevant setting (to most people inflatables are pretty tame, but I have no shame in throwing them in whenever I can :P). More obscure fetishes like goo or liquid latex creatures are a big turn on for some, but don't have to always be depicted mid-transformation or having several appendages shooting all over the place all at the same time. To get to the point, I'm directing my work towards a particular "aesthetic" (there, I said it) and that visual appeal is slightly darker in nature (and by darker I don't simply mean using dark shades or tones).
So for the most part, I will not be accepting generic or "vanilla" themed artwork but I am pretty flexible. Even buff male types are a kink for some and I can totally work with that. It will require more discussion and perhaps artistic freedom, but 99% of people who've commissioned me are quite understanding in this area so it's not generally something I need to enforce. My decision will be based on merit, in that if I'm not given even a little bit of room or if I can't agree with the visual content I will dismiss the idea. These may include things such as characters that are FAR too convoluted or sexual acts that are neigh impossible to render, but I am always open to discuss these things and will always aim to come to a compromise.
