I will be revisiting my commission form and changing up the way I do things. Basically I'll be offering new commission types to adjust to my improving technical skills and be fair on my time spent on each piece respectively. So expect a new journal in a week or so, if not sooner.

Hey guys!
Sorry for the delay in posting. I've been ultra busy with other life commitments as well as working on a number of larger scale works which I hope to have done by the end of next week. I'm still playing around with colouring techniques and figuring out how to better my productivity, so hopefully these new drawings will show my improvement.
These last works have already been on FN for a while but I totally neglected uploading them here (oops).

Quick Update
Posted 9 years agoHeya,
Just letting you guys know that I've disabled notes and will only be accepting commissions via email or by using the commission form I have linked on my profile. Also, my submissions will be reduced to only promotional material, ie. bigger projects, commission updates and links to off site work. Quick drawings will either move to scraps or be selectively uploaded in the interest of saving time. I am in the middle of setting up a public Twitter account for my art and have recently opened a new profile on Furry Network, so if you use either of those platforms I recommend seeing my work on there (access to higher res images will be linked from FN on Twitter) and in the future, I will also have my own online portfolio, hoping to further promote my work within illustration.
Regards,
-Moose

New Commission Form, Quick Drawings and more.
Posted 9 years agoJust a brief update. I've started doing a new type of commission, similar to "Iron Artist" except I call it quick drawing (or quickdraw) because that made more sense to me.
It's not quite as intense as speed painting, but the idea being I can only spend a certain amount of time per work. I've figured out how to maximize my output for a timeframe between 3-4 hours, for which I charge my work at a slightly variable hourly rate, approx. $25 AUD per hour. This way I can have a definite source of income whilst respecting my time spent for working. This is different from my larger commissions where I still require a lot more time, however by making sure I complete at least four or more drawings a week I can spend my casual time focusing on much bigger projects.
As such, I've updated my commission form to accommodate for this. The links are still the same but I've put them here just in case. Click here to submit a commission form or click here to read my terms of service.
Since my quick drawings are cycled through much faster I can take on more work more frequently. As of yet I don't have a *rigid* list of commissions, but I will announce weekly openings starting next week. Hopefully this way I will get a little more activity on here.
Note: Quick drawings require full upfront payment, no exceptions! If you don't have the money right away, you can always get one next week. That's the beauty of these smaller works. :)

// OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS //
Posted 9 years agoFIRST BATCH OF 2016!!!
Hey guys,
I am finally able to announce I'm open for inquiries! As it is I've already taken a number on board, but still have plenty of room for more. Originally I had hoped to start at the beginning of this month, however life things got in the way and I'm only now finished with work leftover from last year. I will set up reminder journals and post a submission regarding this too, but I am NOT taking commissions on a first come, first serve basis. I am looking for work, both adult and non-adult, that is interesting to me, or challenge me in some regard. I do have a strong love for fetish, primarily pup play, rubber and bondage, but that is by no means a prerequisite.
Please see the form for details about submitting, you may also request for a quote via email. Click here to submit a commission form or click here to read my terms of service.
Thanks to everyone for their interest! I will be in touch come the end of the month as to what work I've decided to take on board.

[UPDATE] Bowie, new projects and other things.
Posted 10 years agoHeya,
I have a number of things I'd like to cover, and in attempt to keep you all up to date I'm hoping to do at least one journal per month, especially now that I'm trying to run everything in a more professional manner instead of just being some side-job.
First of all, let me reflect for a moment on the passing of the much loved hero that was David Bowie. It's been a week already and I'm sure most people have moved on, but seeing all the tributes and memorials for him it's hard to say that such an influential figure will ever really be forgotten. Bowie was more than a musician, in that he sought to push his craft beyond what anyone could have ever imagined. I'm sure to many people he wasn't much more than a seldom-spoken of name, but he was such an inspiration for so many more and a strong contribution to the arts. Much the same goes for the late Alan Rickman (who I admired in his roles outside of the Harry Potter movies more so). I can go on for many long paragraphs to discuss their artist integrity and talent, but I have so much more to do.
In hearing the news of Bowie's passing, I felt a sense of disbelief and a moment later such a strong motive to pursue my work. When it comes to personal aspirations, or most general life things I can take a long time to come round, but this year is going to be something else. I want to follow my fine art career, I want become and illustrator, I want to write fiction and fantasy and eventually turn that into animation. Last year I produced a small body of seven digital pieces, all of which were in preparation for FurDU (for those of you unfamiliar, Furry Down Under is currently one of Australia's biggest conventions). Although it was a few months in the works, I finished all my drawings with a few days to spare before my partner and I left for the convention. I ended up selling enough to cover both our air fares and accommodation. As of yet I don't know if I will be doing it again this year, but I'm more than committed to producing lots of new work and perfecting my skills.
That said, I've already established myself on RedBubble where I will be selling shirt designs (it's a temporary set up until I have my own website up and I can find a cheaper, more income earning venue). I have yet to find a online seller for prints that offer a fair commission, but if any of you have an idea where would be a good place to start do let me know! Alongside that I will be setting up my fine art and illustration side-by-side in hopes to further promote my work as something that is multi-disciplinary. Whilst I'm learning to use Adobe Muse I'm also willing to go to anyone with some commercial experience in site design to help in producing something with me, as it could be months before I'll be able to have something up of my own (in between applying for exhibitions and grants, I'll be tossing up my time between illustrating and painting so I can't say I'll have much time to do things outside of that).
Anyway, to conclude if anyone knows of any good printing services (that have an international market, not just in the Americas) I'm all ears! For the time being, please find me on RB @ DeusExMoose: www.redbubble.com/people/deusexmoose

I hope your Friday morning grog bog was amazing
Posted 10 years agoNot that I did. For once my new year's wasn't waking up to regret and nausea haha (or completely forgetting where I actually was).
I just wanted to put this up for anyone who's bothered enough to read journals and say I'm on my last couple of commissions for this batch. I will announce later this month when I will open again. If you haven't seen already, in my profile there is a link to a form which gives you a guide to pricing and a terms of service. You can submit a form at any time and I'll look through them once I am ready.
So, here's to another orbit around a giant blazing ball of plasma!
