I'll be renovating my FA shortly, be on the lookout for a bunch of new stuff!

So I've not really been the type to be all like OUT THERE with being public and stuff. I like sorta keeping to myself and just getting art I can fawn over, but well it's come to my attention that maybe I actually want to try and expand beyond that! Like MAYBE I wanna try actually being one of those "Public People" I hear so much about on the internet.

I'll try to make things nicer as time goes on! And I'll probably be more likely to post new art there. I'm not abandoning FA! I'll just be posting are a bit more infrequently and in large image dumps that on twitter.

GOSH. It is really hard to come up with designs for something interesting! I've been completely swamped with work for like the past couple weeks and my brain is fried. I felt like throwing up a poll or something. Who knows, maybe it'll help with my design block (and be a fun thing in the meantime as I try to cool off from work).

I was thinking about making a character that's a younger lean, but still toned, male (with big peen obviously) Deciding a race is hard! You pic an animal species and you're all like "how can I incorporate aspects of this character into the design" and then you sit there and think about it and thing about something else that your brain goes to. It's madness I tell you! So anyways, here's a straw-poll thingy: What animal/species would YOU like to see made? (Younger, lean bodied male with big ween)

How do you come up with OCs and ideas? How have you come up with them in the past? Do they change over time? What is your design process?

When I started out working on Lydelle, my first OC nearly a decade ago I feel in love with writing and telling stories and all that! It wasn't until the last couple of years that I was able to overcome poverty and all that, but ever since I've been living well enough to afford actual art I've been loving it! I had been using old doujin images across multiple RP sites FOR YEARS and so I was super thrilled to eventually get art of my first ever character, one that stood the test of time for me! (That being said there were may changes along the way!)

After playing a similar character for so long I decided to set out and make something new! I'd always been an anthro lover at heart, so why not make something to reflect that. Two animals come to mind - Big Cats and Snow Monkeys with pandas, tanukis, and buns coming in at a close second.

It took me QUITE a long time to develop the designs that lead to my two anthro gals... well gal and gal+ and it admitedly took even longer to sus out their personalities. I mean, I had an idea but... having a concrete personality for a character is hard y'know! Good designs are timeless! (with a few minor tweaks here and there), but a good personality requires changes and fluidity. NOT EASY! As of today I'm happy to say my 3 primary characters HAVE PERSONALITIES AND HISTORIES! WOO!

Of course, they're eternal works in progress! But who knows what awaits them!? Now that I've gotten a good grasp on 3 characters so far, I wonder if I'll get to work on something new. A boy perhaps! A spindly neet boy... hmm... maybe one of them rowdy small ones! Who knows!

I see a lot of artists using journals as like good ways to update people on what's going on, but what about us non-artists? It it a faux pas to post some project and stuff now and again? IDK I guess I'll do it anyways. So, everyone reading this, what're ya up to? Got anything you're working on or something like that? Hobbies and all that!

I'm currently working on getting a nice audio setup going between that and going through all of my audio files to sort out weird oddities (like people converting lower quality audio files to look like higher quality ones). It is a pain sorting all of my files through a spectrum analyzer... the things I do for audio quality. I've got a small spreadsheet that'll hopefully become a full music catalogue. If anyone is interested in my rambles, they are free, just ask. If anyone is planning to get into high-end audio I recommend buying albums from bandcamp or 7digital (if people still pay for music anyways).

So, what about you all? What's up? Art, hobbies, (maybe they're the same thing) etc.

Okay, I know it's been a few months since I've been to vocal on here, but just wanted to say "hi" again. I've made a few changes and cleaned some older art pieces up. I had a few revisions of when I was getting my character, Vera drawn from quite some time ago. I was still sorta finding a good way to organize all my images and stuff and I figured it'd be best if I just removed all of the recolors and re-uploaded her in her FULL GLORY.

In other news I guess I'll be putting WIPs and stuff in scraps from now on. I feel like that would be a nice place for them to fit. I've been a bit lax on Flist as of late, but I'm working on re-hauling my characters and making this FA page a bit more serviceable. Hope to update on STUFF every now and then. Hey! I've been a bit distant and busy with the holiday season, but hopefully everything comes to an end after next week. Just wanted to make a formal journal and say hello to FA!

Since I've been forced off Tumblr I'll have to regain some ground and make some new accounts elsewhere. I recommend people try InkBunny out! It's far more relaxed with what you can submit, but their blacklisting feature works very well. I never really wanted to make a twitter, but it seems like most artists are on it nowadays so I don't have much of a choice if I wanna stay up-to-date.

Anyways, if I don't get to it before; Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Expect lots of big eared bitches and big shemuscle.
