i just found out that the man who raised be between 12-19 just passed away last night.

it was a hard blow and i havent even gone to sleep yet. im still in shock because i just spoke to him a few days ago...

my real father basically abandoned me when i was 12 and my uncle stepped in to raise me

my heart broke when i heard the news then it shattered when i realized that i wont get to go to the funeral.

i have some art finished just sitting on my desktop, but i dont even feel like posting it.
i know they are commissions and i should but i just want to lay down and cry for a while.

i will refund you if you want. i dont know when ill get back to drawing, but i know ill need a few days or a week to mourn at least.

i might also be quitting my job as they wont let me call in and mourn. the new management doesnt care. "leave your problems at home" they told me.

why you say? well when i joined FA a long time ago i didnt have a fursona. i wasnt a furry so to say, but my boyfriend at the time (not anymore) showed me this site and i really did fall in love with all the creativity and characters i had seen. i wanted to be a part of it, but i was afraid that my humanoid characters wouldnt get much love. so i basically turned my dragon humanoid girl into a furry. it was fine for a while, but i still felt untrue to her so i left the fandom for years. my friend talked me into coming back, but i knew i would need to start fresh. so i created a fursona and i love her. i love ming and amaris and they will always be a part of me, but i just dont feel like its a good representation of my soul.

dont get me wrong i love you furries i really do. i think some of your fursonas are beatuiful and so imaginative. its just not who i am...

i wont be giving up/selling/abandoning ming or amaris.

not at all.

my new fursona will not be a furry at all. she in fact will be my persona as she will be more human than animal.

ive had an idea in my head about how i want her to be and i really would love all my watchers to support me in my change!
