So I am finally back to FA after moving and I didn't get anything done for you guys while I was gone omfg I AM SO SORRY

I had really really really planned on getting some stuff prepped to post but holy shit you guys moving took so much out of me and then I had to deal with two weeks of my boyfriend being back at my hometown and just meeting new people and going to a new job. Not to mention I am trying to get registered for a new college here and that has been going SO BADLY I DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS THIS HARD TO GO TO A NEW PLACE LIKE REALLY WHY????

I kind of made a new base for adoptables or something but I haven't looked at it since I made it so maybe you guys can tell me if this is a base you wanna see stuff made of or if I should just try again or do something else cause idk if I am cut out for this adoptable thing anymore. v____v
I'm probably just going to keep making a bunch of different character on different bases and just selling them in groups or something if I even do that because every design I just want to keep I HAVE NO CHARACTERS ANYMORE I NEED HELP

But wowww really so much has happened this month I can't even.

I actually got a speeding ticket right before I left my home town on the way to pick up the uhaul and that is a big god dammit situation. Our internet didn't get set up til the 14th. Two days of it so far. IT LOADS PICTURES CRAZY FAST. I thought that was exciting. But I've just been watching movies on netflix and trying to kill the time between work and sleep that I spend texting my bf.

Moving is so expensive too. I have a really huge thing about needing where I live to look like it is... well... lived in. And my other roommates are either never home or don't really care about that so I have been taking it upon myself to make my house look legit and I've been throwing down so much money it's fucking crazy. I should show you guys someday soon. A lot of it is actually really cute.

UHHHHH but yeah you guys probably don't want to read about my life so I'll go ahead and leave a lot of it out but I just wanted to say I'm back and I missed you. Lets all be friends.

I am in need of some money so I can rent a penske or u-haul truck for my move next week.
The trucks themselves are going to cost me 300$ (150$ split with a roommate). I don't expect to make that much
from this lol, but any little bit would help because I still have to pay first months rent and get all of our utilities set
up when we get there. Going off of one last check at work is going to be rough.

So I want some backup reassurance. :')

But when I opened sai my pen pressure wasn't working even though in the pen settings it says that it is sigh.

holy crap it is like I can't keep up with the internet anymore this is too tough. I don't even know what goes on during my time anymore but mostly it is just work and if it isn't work it is school

BUT THIS WEEK WAS SPRING BREAK AND THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN AND I'M JUST GOING TO TELL YOU GUYS ABOUT IT CAUSE IT WAS GREAT.
All this weekend I partied. Ahhhh. My friend turned 21 on thursday and we partied for that and then the next day I went to a going away bowling/barhopping thing for my old manager. And she brought smirnoff so me and Jonny could get drunk in the parking lot and it was just a lot of fun. And yesterday my visual manager wanted me to go out to a club with her and some other people but I was pooped at that point so I just had some food with a friend.

BUT AT THE BEGINNING OF SPRING BREAK I GOT TO SEE THE DEAR HUNTER IN CONCERT. Oh my god that is my favorite band jelajfkjdalk and I got a picture with Casey and oh my god best day of my life okay I don't care that I had to drive 5 hours to ATL it was the best day ever. Best weekend. Jfc.

And I probably should have told you guys this beforehand when it actually first happened, but I got a job!
I ended up getting hired at Forever 21 a bit from where I live, so a lot of my previously free time is now work time.

So I am going to be super slow.
With everything for a while.
Until I get used to working 8 hour shifts in a really fast pace store like 5 days a week.

Because right now as it is, I have a lot of fun at work but when I get home all I want to do is lay down and eat and not draw? Cause it really puts out my back and makes me want to laze around and sleep. 8(

I still plan on getting to the things on my to do, but for right now, I hope you guys can understand the wait!

Lololol. I don't know. I feel kinda disconnected from FA as of... well for a while now because a lot of the people I used to be friends with on here have either stopped posting or I just don't talk to them anymore?

How do most of you guys feel about the reselling of adopts?
Mainly the reselling of designs at a higher price than they were bought at.

And I'm talking more along the lines of reselling character designs that have been drawing at least two times since getting bought?
Cause I know a lot of adoptable artists don't like it when people resell their adopts for more than they were bought, but does that feeling change when the person who is reselling it has more art invested into the character or no?

Because I am kinda thinking about reselling some of the adopts I have bought over a year ago, but I am getting iffy about pricing them.

I really need to save up money because I am trying to take my boyfriend to go meet my dad in the summer.
I have reasoning for not wanting to go by myself, so despite the fact that my dad will be paying for my ticket, I need to still save up money to pay for Will's.

Another reason I need to take in commissions is that I really want to buy Will a promise ring before he goes off to college and honestly I just want to get it before our anni?
So I am basically working to save up somewhere around 600~ dollars.

Or 200~ by 4/20 and another 400~ by July.


I know a lot of people don't really rank these kinds of goals as super high up there on the importance chart, but haha. To me they are?
So I would really appreciate commissions!

Trip to my dad

I haven't seen my dad since I was around 10 or so? The last time I visited him was nine years ago when I still lived overseas in Japan and was before he was diagnosed with MS. I've been putting off visiting him for a long time now as a lot has happened in nine years, such as me moving to the states, moving through states, generally going through high school, my dad retiring from the military because of his disability, and him having to move to Massachusetts so that he could have the support he needed from his parents and sister just in case anything bad actually ended up happening to him.

I honestly think that my dad is really embarrassed about letting me see him in a weakened state now that he has progressed further into MS. He rarely leaves his house, he orders all his food and cat supplies from amazon, has a ton of trouble falling asleep and even worse of a time staying asleep, so the only interaction he really gets is with his two cats and when on occasion he will make the trip out to see my grandparents. And I feel really bad about that, because I was supposed to visit a year ago but he told me not to come because he was afraid he would never feel well enough to take care of me or that I would just get bored being around him when all he did was move around his house in pain.

And that is why I want to bring Will with me to meet him. Not only because I want my boyfriend to meet my father, but also because then my dad won't feel so obligated to take care of me while I am there. He'll get to feel like my dad again too, since I'll be a daughter sharing someone important with her father. Just. I really want my dad to be okay with me being there without having to worry about me being stuck in the house with him the whole time or not being able to enjoy myself, because if Will were there we could go out and enjoy ourselves while also getting to meet my grandparents for the first time since I was maybe 2? He's just really an emotional support that I need when I go to meet them and a support for my dad to assure I'm taken care of.



Promise ring

This one might seem really cheesy? Lol but whatever. Basically my boyfriend is graduating high school in june I think and I really want to be able to get him a ring to wear everyday, especially when he leaves to go off for college since I will be staying behind to finish my AA at a local college. The promise ring is more of a personal want, because I have huge insecurity problems and I just really want to know that my relationship with him will be safe no matter where he is and it would just be a really great gift to get him. Idk. I would really like to be able to afford it by April 20th, which is our anniversary. While I realize that that is a bit close on time as far as getting money through commissions goes, for me anyway, I would really like to try it! And if I can't get it by then, I'll just buy him something else and save the money I do earn up for the plane ticket and I'll just continue my job hunt so that I can buy the ring at least before he goes off to college.
