Spreading the word about the upcoming Tarpaw Furmeet; to those of you who are unaware, we have a local fuzzbutt who has convention experience. Tarpaw is a meet that, if successful, could lay the ground work for a future furry convention here in good ol' North Carolina.

But, in order for this to become a reality, we need participation; we need involvement, and we also need support. How do you go about supporting this endeavor? By purchasing a ticket, or at the very least, spreading the word around. $20 for a night of partying, music, and food isn't bad at all...you spend WAY more then that going to an out of state convention!

Actions do speak louder then words, let's make this a reality and support this upcoming event! I really hope to see you all there.

Dear Fursuiting Friends..:P

A very good, non-furry friend of mine is throwing a Halloween Party on Saturday, and has asked me to invite a few Fursuiters to her party. I'm looking to take at least 2, no more than 3 with me. :)

Just to give you a heads up, a bulk of this party will consist of my Friend's co-workers, and yes there will be drinking, snacks, etc....though, all I ask is that you be on your best behavior. Most of the people at this party have never been around fursuiters before, so keep that in mind. :)

Since this is an adult party, anyone who goes with me will need to be 18 or older; also, if you're under 21, do not expect any alcoholic drinks..my friend does not allow or condone underage drinking. :P

If you're interested, shoot me over a text (if you have my number) and/or send me a note via twitter or FA...I will give you the information. :D

So, I was talking today with one of my Non-Furry friends, and she told me that she did not know me, she'd be afraid to approach me. She wouldn't give me any details in specific, but it got me pondering.

I'm not hard to approach, am I? I always thought of myself as a pretty nice guy, lol. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. :P

I've been seriously thinking of getting some art commissioned, though I have not quite decided on what or who it would include. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...

And....no. Before you comment, I am not getting art drawn of me as a Pomeranian, Unicorn, Red Panda, and any other weird combination you all can think of. :P

Anthrocon was a total blast, and I took a ton of pictures! Just to let everyone know, I am still editing them; I am moving, so there will be a delay in getting these done. However, do not fear! They will be done as quickly as I am able to tackle through them.

I will edit most of these in Lightroom, but I will be taking 10-15 of my favorites and doing some further edits in Photoshop, so I can get use to using photoshop. :)

Yep, I will be attending Anthrocon this year! My first time going, so I am excited! I am not doing the Anthrocon meme thing, but keep an eye out for me! I will have my new DSLR as well, so I will be experimenting with it. :3

Also, in other news, I need a new damn icon, lol.

I do not know if anyone else would be interested, but I'd love to get back into Urban Exploring. For those of you who are not familiar with the term, it's basically the exploration of abandoned places. I love exploring abandoned places; they're gateways to the past, and always full of interesting things.

I am planning on getting a DSLR soon, so I'd love to go to these places not only to explore, but to get some amazing photographs as well. Unfortunately, I'm still not totally familiar with the area;not to mention, I'd like to have people to go with for not only safety reasons, but because exploring such areas with others is so much fun. :3

If you're interested in going with me, let me know! I am thinking this could be a once a mouth (or even more, depending on how many places we find!). Let me know who all would be interested; I am thinking a group of no more than 2-5 would be preferable. ^_^

That, more than likely, the next guy I date will a furry. Lol. Not that I am actively searching for a boyfriend or anything, but you never know. :3

Well, I am home from FWA! I must say that the con was a blast; I had a lot of fun....you furries sure do know how to have a good time!

The only HUGE compliant about the con that I had was the ordeal with the elevators; after waiting for almost 20 minutes for an elevator at times, I finally gave up on them and took the stairs. They were quicker, and I was able to get to my destination 10 times faster than if I had to wait on the elevator. Other than that, the con itself was quite a bit of fun!

Outside the Con, a group of us had a horrible experience at the Metro Dinner down the street from the con. The group consisted of myself,  ketchara,  mercgryph,  honeypup,  yamori,  rosehexwit,  kiraeden,  xoven,  culmor30 and  kialskunk...the service was total crap, and I was forced to sit between a booth and a table, where I hardly had any room. x.x Next year I am going to avoid that place and look further from the con for decent places to eat.

Something rather amusing happened Saturday evening... chezne, Valbryn (sp), Myself and Don went up to the con suite to check it out. After grabbing some noms, we decided to head back to the room. Since the elevators were taking forever, Chezne, Valbryn, and myself decided to take the service elevator back to our room. Unfortunately for us, it shot us up to the 70th floor, where the doors opened to reveal a kitchen area; in the kitchen was a lady pouring some drinks. We all instinctively tried to hide, which being in the small elevator did us no good. Well, while fixing drinks, she said to us: "I do not know what ya'll are hiding I can see you."...it was then Chezne proceeded to peek out the elevator door, act cute...and got the woman all excited. XD!

I checked out the dance on Saturday....perhaps they could not see me, but I tried to dance with 2 or 3 fursuiters and was completely ignored, lol. After that I danced by myself for a bit before making my way back to the con.

All-in-all, a great weekend...I cannot wait for next year. I did not take as many pictures as I did last year, but I did take quite a few. I will be going over them during the course of the next few days, and I will post some of them here and on my Facebook page. ^.^

A couple of days ago, I was going through some of unpacked boxes, and I came across some old pictures of My Uncle Robert and Scooby. They brought back memories of good times, but despite this, I found myself my crying my eyes out...

I miss both of them terribly; even though it has been months since either of them have passed, there are times when I find myself thinking: what could I have done? I could have called more, perhaps I could have done something different...

I realize that no amount crying, guilty feelings, etc. Will ever bring them back, but it doesn't help ease these feelings. I will be okay; I need to heal, learn and move on. At least I have those memories, which means they'll live on forever.

RIP Uncle Robert and Scooby; I love you both and know you all are in a better place. Thanks for the memories, and at least I can cherish those.

Yes, I will be at FWA this year; I am very excited! ^^ I had a blast last year, and I think this year is going to be even better! I look forward to meeting new people, and also hanging out with all my friends in the  trianglefurs ^^

Why I appreciate the efforts to hook me up, please know my type. You will not believe how many tomes I have gone on blind dates (to be nice), and the guy they set me up with is so flamboyantly gay. Just because we are both guy, does not mean we'll be dating. I do have a certain type, ya know. ><

Kiss my ass...today has totally sucked, and now I'm pissed and in a sour mood. And no, it is a whole mixture of factors have contributed to today being crappy as hell..

Saturday Night on my way back to the airport, I had an interesting conversation with the guy who was driving the cab I was in....

Come to find out, driving a cab was just a side job; he is actually going to be taking a test on Friday in order to become a translator for the Federal Government, going over seas to help them out there.

Just goes to show, you should never judge a person you do not know; you have no idea of their lives and what they've gone through. Also shows that, if you're not afraid to talk to people, you'll discover some very interesting stories.

After he dropped me off at the Airport, he told me that I was a very unique individual, he was impressed by how I was able to listen to a total stranger and not pass judgement. Said I had a very rare gift.

That made me smile. :) Listening to a total stranger can sometimes be a very life changing experience. :)
