Posted 6 years agoSo its been awhile since I have been on here, and I kinda have a lot to say. I will try to keep it fairly condensed and separated to keep all thoughts organized.
First off in all honesty I just kinda lost interest in being on here. When I was here I was with my now ex-boyfriend. We broke up almost 2 years ago, and coming here just reminded me of him. His character was who I had shipped with my main character. So it just kinda got to me. Things in my real life, and my fantasy created life had just been changed. It was a break up for the better, because he had stopped respecting my wishes. I would not want things to happen, but then he would pretty much pull the "What about my feelings" card. It really messed with me mentally. I was always like "Well am I a bad partner not tending to him?" In the end I realized I was depressed. I didn't want things to keep on as they were, so that is where things ended.
I am not sure if I will frequent here like I used to, but one thing is for sure that I will be removing any Kaminari x Remoriel(Reedy) art. It just makes me sad to see. Reed is no longer part of my life, and I am very happily taken by someone who cares for me. The person I am with now is the one who helped me see that I was in a bad situation when it came to Reed, so I am just forever thankful for that.
Things a bit off from that topic, and more furry related are next. My suit that I had for Zuriel had basically fallen apart. The suit was my first big purchase in this community, and sadly it has many issues. There are holes in the stitching for the hands, feet, arms, and tail. The head was so poorly made too. It has fur shaved so short you can see the mesh under it. The fur is placed the wrong way in some areas, and the neck fur was added without even talking to me first. I just really wish she could be saved, but if its not possible I am willing to just sell her to someone to refurb/resell. I don't have a big budget for this, so just please keep that in mind if you step forward to offer help.

I am looking for a fursuit maker that is in the Georgia area, or might be going to Anime Weekend Atlants. I have a fursuit head that I adore, but it does not fit quite right I want someone that I could possibly meet in person, so that they could see where the problem areas are. I am also sorta wanting the eyelids removed from the suit, and the eyes replaced with full mesh for more vision. I can send it back to the original makers for that fix, but if someone has the ability to do it here that would be amazing~

Posted 9 years agoI didn't exactly announce this before, but I am so happy to announce that I have officially brought back my very first character. I made this character back when I was in 5th grade, and over the years that character became what everyone knows as Kaminari. Kaminari is still precious to me, but this character has just taken my heart back. :D
In the past few years I ended up reconnecting with her, and wanted to bring her back. I just never had the proper time to do so.
Long story short, I saw a fursuit up for sale that resembled the dragon form of my first ever OC/Sona. I could not let the opportunity pass me by, so I did all I could to gather up the money.
Suit and Design were sold to me by

The character has changed, but ever so slightly from her original design.
Originally her name was Koharu Kurokaze, and she had a dragon soul inside her that took over from time to time. The dragon was named Ashima.
I am unsure if I want them to be two beings while thinking over her story, so Ashima may just end up being able to go from dragon to humanoid form.
I am so excited to get the fixed up ref sheet, so I can begin with the flood of Ashima art >w<

1. What is your fursona's name?
-I have a few. My main is actually Kaminari Atsu
2. How old is your fursona?
-I have not given her a defined age yet.
3. What is your fursona?
- Kaminari is actually a fox demon that mostly stays in a kemonomimi form.
4. How much time have you had your fursona?
- The idea that evolved into her started when I was in 5th grade. The actual first time I have her become Kaminari was some time in my middle school years and the Kami that you all know was created some time within the past few years.
5. Was your fursona inspired by something?
- Oh boy. Well I believe when I first started wanting to change my sona from a dragon to a canine-like character was when I watched Inuyasha for the first time. I honestly can't recall when I was like "Imma make her a fox" but I just remember really loving the idea of the ears and floofy tail. I originally had Kami as this evil kitsune but I did not want her praying on random men so I redesigned her to just simply be a fox demon. Her mother was a kitsune but Kami is not.
6. How much art do you have of your fursona?
- Oh man I have so much art of her. Everything from in game characters made to look like her, random art/doodles I have done, old art of her older designs, new art that I have recently purchased, random dress up game things where I try to make her. I have so many different forms of art of her. I do not have much art of her fox form though. Her fur pattern seems to be confusing even though it is fairly simple.
7. You made your fursona or you buy it?
- I made Kami all by my self :D
8. Why do you consider your fursona special?
- Oh my goodness yes. Although technically for the most part Kami is not a furry she is so special to me. I created her bipedal fox form because I loved the idea of it but I still prefer her kemonomimi form. Kami is basically the creation of everything in my life up to date. She means so much to me even though design wise she is simple.
9. Does your fursona act too much as you or are they different from you?
- With Kami is really depends. Kami (like me) has trust issues, she gets overly emotional about things just as I do, she has lost people and hurts from it just as I do, she has a very strong urge to protect and keep those she holds dear just as I do, but the difference is that she has the power to make things happen. Kami is very emotionally weak but if she needs to protect or fight she has the power to. She has physical strength I wish I had but she is basically just as weak as me on an emotional level. She will look for the best in all situations but she will still always have this lingering past that eats at her from time to time just as I do. [Sorry that got a little deep there haha]
10. What kind of hair your does your fursona have?
- Fun fact is Kami used to have long hair. She had long golden hair that went to about her mid back. Her bangs were longer and kinda in her eyes a bit but I decided to have her chop it all off. In her story when she decides that her long hair is getting in the way of her being able to do what she needs to so with a little help of her fox fire she just kinda burns it off. Later on its actually trimmed right so its not all messy but yeah. Another fun fact that people keep looking over is Kaminari's hair as it is now is based on Gumi Megpoid. 12. What music represents your fursona?
- Hmmm I am not sure on this one. Possibly soothing orchestra music. All in call Kami is a very elegant character with some emotional problems. Possibly opera type mysic. When she opens up more to a friend I would say that side of her is more happy upbeat music.
13. If your fursona was insane what music would represent them?
- Oh man definately would see like sinister orchestra music hands down.
14. Do you wish your fursona was real?
- Oh holy hell yes. Even if I were unable to be her I would love for her to be real. Once Kami learns to trust someone she is very fun and goofy.
15. Do you have any games of your sona?
- I have customised characters to look like her that I have made in existing MMOs but no game that is based around her.
16. What would you do if you meet your fursona in real life?
- If she were as I have her now I would definately have to be calm and gentle with her at first. She takes a lot of time to trust and she would be terrified if plopped in today's society too quickly. Once I calmed her down we would hang out and I would show her all of what today's society has to offer. I bet she would end up like me in a way. xD She may be weirded out by how many in game characters that I have created based around her xD She would end up a total nerd/goof I am pretty sure.
Welp sorry my main sona is not technically a furry but I created a "furry" form of her so she sorta fit in more haha.

Small Rant
Posted 9 years agoOkay so I have been complaining to close friends about this but I am honestly really annoyed that I keep getting messed up pieces of Kami.
Like I put an entire master list of Hex codes and RGBs and exactly where each color goes and yet still people mess up. I understand small flaws but if like her face marking is left off or if her light yellow parts are made white then I have an issue.
I mean is her ref not clear enough or something? I am too nervous to ask an artist to changed a finished piece and I don't know why. I know I should be able to just ask since I paid money but I just feel rude ya know.
I am not aiming this journal at anyone specific but basically how much more clear can I make her ref? I even ask the artist to please look over the description because literally everything he/she would need is right there.
Also how do I approach an artist that has posted a completed piece and ask them to alter things? I just really dont want to be met with a hateful response but it has just been eating at me that I never said anything. I don't know if its best to just move on from it or confront said artist and ask for the art to be fixed.
Please any advise is appreciated because this has me so stressed honestly. I am really not sure what is blocking me from having the courage to ask for changed on something I paid for.
