I feel that I've grown a lot as a person and my art has reflected that. I also want a fresh start on here as a new entity and just have a clean slate.

I'm moving again in September so because of that I'm working for my parents again and out of state :c
On the bright side though
cffcostumes is refurbishing my suit! I'm getting a new head and making myself a new tail and paws. So we'll see how that goes.
That and I have so much expendable cash that I'm not stressing out about that anymore. Even with my increase in rent I'm set. My goals are to hopefully put lots of money aside in my savings for emergencies and replace some things that needed to be replaced.

Posted 11 years agoI really can't wait. Not only is it dirt cheap for me this year (well minus the federal loans but really I rather take those than private), but I can't wait to see everyone again!
I'm taking up more commissions since I live in my own apartment now and hopefully sometime it'll be enough to cover more of my bills.

Posted 12 years agoI'll be looking for housing and...it's my first time looking for housing. If anyone has any idea or advice or help it would be really appreciated!
Also it'll be a friend and I who want to move into the area(s?) this may. Of course on a student budget we can only afford an 1000 apartment or 500 max each.
Not really looking for pet only housing but I do have a rabbit that I would like to bring with me.

Also winter break is going pretty well so far. I've been trying to do more self driven artwork and I've signed up for a programming class. I won't get any college credits but I'll just be able to learn some basics.

Posted 12 years agoMy friend and I have been looking for apartments and akjdwlaw I finally found one.
It seems a bit too good to be true but we're checking out the place soon enough.
Not to mention it's really affordable to the point that it's crazy and it would allow us to live in Boston over the summer without worrying about finding a job again later.

Posted 12 years agoMy little kitten who I shared with my little sister has passed away. Unfortunately my step dad backed up and hit her lower spine. There was really nothing we could do for her as she was internally bleeding and it took us almost half an hour just to get her to the vet.
I'm so extremely stressed out between doctor visits and college and now this. I'm still taking commissions though as I need the money.
I really don't know what to do anymore. I've been so used to doing everything by myself because I had to. Now that I need people I can't find the help I need since those who have to help me simply brushed me off.
Everything is just spiraling down into a mess and I'm trying to dig myself back up.
I'm so extremely stressed out between doctor visits and college and now this. I'm still taking commissions though as I need the money.

Posted 12 years agoI think I might only do tails. Everything else...is just too much and I enjoy it so much less. The sheer fact that I only have half a head done and half a set of feet paws is just...ugh.
So I might only do tails. I love doing them and I'm really confident in my skills for them. Not to mention that I can make a few tails a month easy.

Rabbit help?
Posted 12 years agoI have a rabbit who I recently got. He's sweet and lovely when you're holding him and when you let him run around but when you try to take him out he's against it.
I really want to get him friendly enough that if I open the cage he'll want to come out. Rather than me having to take him out.
Mostly because I know it'll be better for him and me. I won't intrude his personal space and I'll know when he really doesn't want to and when he would rather be left alone. Rather than GO AWAY all the time and not getting any outside cage time.
He just accepts it when you pick him up though and doesn't struggle. I've sat near the cage for hours only to have him sniff the open door but never really going out or letting my hands near him to sniff before I pick him up.

On another note I'm still open for commissions and will be until September. I don't really feel like moving all this fabric into a small dorm and cluttering up the place.

I'm so excited. Especially since she doesn't mind and that all I have to do for her is stretch canvases, prime some, and occasionally bring food.
She'll teach me different techniques and help me further myself along to prepare for art school.
