So so so ...Vacation time..yes the days are open and free...free for me to do what i want with no worries...and ive realized that this is driving me insane! i cant handle it anymore! lol i wanna get back to work! so badly! You get to working for so long that when you finally sit down and have a break from what you love you realize, thats the problem! you love doing what you do (art) and you never want to see it go away : >.
So im here itching to get back into the groove, and ive been thumbing up some new houses! so be on the look out!
and question, anyone ever have that feeling too? the whole, dont realize what youve got till its gone feeling? specially with something work related? (or not lol)

So earlier this week i got a phone call from a video game company asking to hire me for concept art. Blew my mind! Grant it the work i show them is not what i show here..not all the time i spose, but they want me to do environmental design, and come up with homes and stuff for them, so, so far, so good! They already really like my work and the 24th they are taking me out to a lunch afternoon visit for a little more interviewing, get to know me and get me to know my lead artist. He will be setting the art standard and i will be working on concepting out homes and what not. Man! im so excited!

So thats really more or less just some good news, and as things go a long (and hopefully follow through!) i can give some tips on the work companies are looking for, or even then how to concept. Ive been working a really long time at getting this kind of a job and i think just recently ive figured out what i have to produce to please the companies looking for artist.

Aside from that, i kinda didnt mention ive got a new lover! well more like a new BF, i wouldnt consider him a new love you know? He seems to be more than that! Hes very nice and he makes me pretty happy and is a concept artist at another video game company, so hes a bit of inspiration for me! Well well, we will see wont we? how things work out.

Also, im still working on my website and i would love for people to visit! let me know if there are things you think i should change, things i can work on!

So ive beeing trying to make art, that in some way, will bring the styles that i work in together. A lot of the time i find it really difficult to focus on one kind of art, or one kind of style. I think I enjoy art too much to focus like that.
So recently, im sure people have noticed the plant girls ive been posting, i think over all im working on making a kind of photoshop coloring that is my own, and is something i can do fast and still really enjoy the work. So to conclude this, little bit of a story for the journal, drove up the coast this past weekend, all the way up to Philly, and i really enjoyed the countryside, so along with this, theres gonna be a couple photos to show the landscape and some other interesting things.

So yeah, Ive been doing the ATC thing for a while and im enjoying it for what it is. But recently ive been wondering what people would think if i sold some prints?

Maybe nothing huge, but wallet size or 8.5 by 11. I would be willing to sell larger prints of things, but wallet size for now...of all things, erotica normal art and what not, and all of them would be signed. But it would be something that wouldnt be too expensive, i should put prices up or something and see what people think.

what do you all think?


any who, back to class, today is only a half day..kind of...well...every wed. is like that, todays classes! History, memory, imagination (is a history class about history...wat? awesome i know) then Art and archeology of the near east ( pretty sweet stuff covering the middle east and what not)

also, anyone have a favorite class this year? or if not school, favorite part of work? if not work or school, favorite part about being homeless?

so yeah , im a little bored here at school, im sure its only for a week or so, and im looking to do an art card trade!

i want to do something a friend of mine showed me, where you take a small card, make some art on it and send it away to a friend or just you know a random artist who wants to participate with you on the project! :D

so yeah, if anyone feels up to the task id love to have an "art-pal" to send things back and forth with, or if anything just for once at least lol
