General | Posted 7 years agoI'm finally free from college, and I'm back to working on commissions after a couple of days of "hibernation" lol. I'll be working on commissions more now since I have at least a month of vacation before the next college term starts. So, yeah. If ever hopefuly, I'll be able to make a lot of progress during this time. Sorry for those who had to wait, since I went on a hiatus due to school.

06-08-2018 COMMISSION SLOTS (Life update and stuff)
General | Posted 7 years agoAs some of you know, from following me, or simply checking my previous journal entry, that I've taken a hard beating in life. Not gonna go in detail anymore, check the previous journal entry (Titled 'Failure') for details. But anyway, some update about me. Recently I've had probably one of the most challenging art commissions ever I guess, I mean heck it nearly took me 3 months to finish it, but I've finally done it (Will post the art soon), and that's the end of the previous batch (which was even last year, before the incident happened and thoroughly disabled me) So, from here on, it's the start of the 2018 batches of commissions, I'll probably open commission batches in 5s this time, not 10, cause I know time kills me.
As for the incident and me? if you're wondering that is. I'm doing fine. I'm trying to move on from it I guess? Technically it won't heal anymore, that wound will stay right there, a scar of the past. But I'll try to continue living I guess. I'm back to juggling commissions and school nowadays. I've gotten my new passport just this February, and all I need is the funds for the Singapore trip, which will be on the last week of December of this year. Hopefully nothing goes wrong this time.

Failure. (An update about my life)
General | Posted 8 years agoLast year, or rather, last month, December 2017. I was on a countdown to a vacation trip to Singapore, which was "supposed" to be on the 25th of December. I finished the school term and passed with flying colors, I was happy, I was excited, I've started to gather stuff and get ready for this once again the only happiest time I will ever be in. Spend time with my mate, with other friends who are there in Singapore, have a good time roaming around, etc.
December 24, 2017
--I've gathered all my things, I've bought a nifty exchange gift for my friends there, even one specifically for my mate. My luggage was ready and full of stuff. My flight time was near. I checked-in online and before I knew it, the worst mistake of my life is just upfront. I noticed my passport's expiry date to be on February 2018. That means, it's expiring in 2 months. At first I thought that's not a problem because it's still valid on my flight. It's not. There is a rule of thumb for passports to be valid at least 6 months for travel, and Singapore requires 6 months validity. Exactly. and strictly. I panicked really badly. I felt like I was going to collapse. I tried to look for ways maybe they'd consider me to go, but to no avail. Every option is dead from the start. I felt like running out of breath. I was literally crying a waterfall as I try to find some hope. There isn't.
December 25, 2017
--The day of the flight that never happened. An extremely bitter mistake. A total failure. I wanted to really kill myself. A whole year of savings, gone down the drain. A whole year of effort to go through school, hoping of a light at the end of the tunnel, at the end of the year. There isn't. I was paralyzed the whole day, didn't want to eat, didn't want to drink, wanted to run away from home and end my story. It was at that time I experienced a really horrible side of depression. Painful. Bitter. Excruciating. I don't know whether I should kill myself out of starvation, or something else. I can't see any hope, any light, not even from my friends' comfort and empathy, nor from my own mate's. It was truly a massive and horrible mistake that I've never ever experienced in my whole life.
Onwards
--Immediately I lost everything. Motivation. Inspiration. Power. Hope. Dreams. Self-care. and passion for art. I became more isolated. Never talked or rarely talked to my parents, or anyone. Cooped up in my bed, shedding my tears almost all the time. It almost felt traumatic. Shivering. Wide awake. Full of dread. but empty of soul. I went through each day with a heavy burden of going through another year. 2018. Another year of suffering, pain, torture, disgust, hate and anger, depression, anxiety, frustration, jealousy, agony, etc. I felt like I can't anymore, I felt that at one point I'd just lose control of myself, and before I know it, I've already ended my life. way. too. early. New Year 2018 came as if it's just a normal day, it didn't feel like a new year, it felt like just an extension of 2017. Nothing new is there. Each day it would come to thought that at least I'd feel better. It sorta did. But not really. It took a great amount of effort to put it behind my back. But every now and then it still haunts me, all what I've lost, all of that effort that was wasted. I could never forget about it.
Today
--I was instructed by a friend a few weeks ago to don't do any art stuff for 20 days. That ends today so I'm free to do art again. Though even if I was free to do art beforehand, it would be painful to do anything at all, it scared me. I felt like any effort I'm doing is just for nothing. Just. Nothing. Moving on was as painful as removing a steel beam that had pierced through my body. My heart feels heavy. Nothing much really changed, just that I've tried to keep it at the back of my head. The scars however of what this incident had done to me mentally and physically, is probably permanently there.

Why didn't I know about the passport validity until too late?
--My aunt had my passport until only recently that she gave it to me. I know. I never should've had her hold it. As of the moment I have it beside me now, and never will I let anyone, not even my parents, get hold of it.
Why not I try to refund it? Rebook it?
--To no avail. I tried to go to the airline office itself to ask for a refund, but it wasn't possible. However, a rebook can be possibly made, but again, however, the penalty fee for the rebooking is higher than the ticket. (The ticket was around 12,000 PHP, while the penalty fee would rise about 14,000 PHP and thats not including the changes in ticket price for the schedule.) So it was no use, that money is long gone and never will be returned.
Did I start to at least get my passport renewed?
--Yes. My appointment for the passport renewal will be on March.
How about my art commissions?
--I may continue it. But being mentally paralyzed, I don't know how much effort can I get through. I have a sideline savings for a new desktop PC so that I could work better. But even that is experiencing problems to complete.
Am I okay?
--No.
Will I be okay?
--I don't know.
So, I'm sorry for this very long hiatus. I'm really sorry. But this whole thing shook me up and literally fucked up with me. It may be definitely my fault but I can't deny the fact that, it was still a very big loss of effort and money.

Been Inactive Update (Commission Updates 12-22-2017)
General | Posted 8 years agoOkay, lemme address some stuff. As usual, things don't turn out right in the end for school and commissions, so I had to drop commission work again. Had to focus on school stuff till the end. It was frustrating, I only took two subjects but it's still painfully stressful in the end for me, balancing the two, school and commissions, was out of the picture.
Luckily, I survived this college term and passed the two subjects. But the cost of that is me being stalled with commission work :C but oh well, I kinda decided that I won't enroll next term so that I can focus on these art commissions.
Another point, this 25th up to 31st of December 2017, I will be in Singapore to hangout with my mate , some fellow friends, and of course for some nice christmas vacation. I saved up money for the ticket itself, as well as a half of the hotel. This will be my 4th visit to Singapore, and guess what? I'm traveling alone this time! Yeah! for real, finally the moment I'm waiting for, traveling alone to another country, has come true-- but that goes to saying that I'm a bit anxious about it, mainly probably because of having to deal with Philippine immigration at the airport hahaha, but I should get through.
As for the commission update, as I said above, I didn't make any progress until just recently due to college crap. I still have 3 remaining commissions to do and I'll probably finish this by next year ;w; I'm sorry guys who are waiting for me to open new commission slots, really really sorry it had to take me this long.

I'm back from all those severe sleepless nights and tiring days of the finals week. Just as after the term ended I crashed into some hibernate mode that made me quite 'useless' for the rest of the vacation. Which is just only a fucking week. I've recently returned to working commissions but guess what? Vacation's over. The next college term is set to start this week and it'll last up to December.
The problem is I really have to work as fast as I can or else I'll blow it and never be able to goddamn get a flight to Singapore this December. I've been stuck on multiple commissions due to technical difficulties. I swear I will have to rework my commission information and terms of service or whatever. Especially when commissioners want to put copyrighted characters. I will consider them as additional characters starting on the next slots I'll release, along with the price hike. BUT this is only if you want them as accurate as they look like in canon or full sized (Plushies are now included here), if you only want a simple one, say only a head or bust of the character in simple stylized form, they won't count as additional characters. Item designs are included in this policy (Say you want a Simba design on the rug, or a paw patrol themed diaper if it includes the characters in full size). Additionally, this is subject as well to review from me if the copyrighted character you want is okay to draw or not, similar to my notes for your characters, I will not draw complex copyrighted characters.
This is to make things fair, because I get held back by these things and having me to draw copyrighted characters without addition to the price is quite unfair for me. Plus, usually since I'd have to do it as canon-looking as possible, I have to improvise a way in my style, which takes time to do. So yeah, this is a note for the future commissioners.
Back to my condition. I will continue to work on commissions despite classes are back, hopefully I'll get this batch done soon. Anyway, I'm back from hiatus, and I'm working again.

Things... are always not going good when I plan for something. Today is no exception. College stuff strikes again and it's almost finals week (or so what we call the 'Hell Week') and I have a lot of crap on my tail, to work on. Even if I only had 2 subjects this college term, it always ends up with a very very stressful finals week.
So the thing is, one of my subjects is called "Narrative Documentary" and it isn't as easy as it sounds, because the prof's standards are too high and she has a specific kind of documentary that she wants to see in our output works. Now, the thing with this is that we have to think of a topic, and we did, the problem is? the distance to travel. We had to travel around 80 kilometers just to get to the place, and we don't just go there once, we had to go more than that, twice, thrice, recently it's the fourth time I've been there to do some documentary film shoot.
Also, with the problems in the group a normal thing, of course someone has to take control, and that is me. I have to turn things around so I'll be able to make a polished output. Seriously, this is stressful guys. So, I will be going on TEMPORARY HIATUS on commission work until... well all crap has been done for good. I will post another update journal once I resume work. Sorry for the inconvenience for those who expected me to open new commission slots by early September, it will have to wait for a couple more days. :c

So while I was working on commissions yesterday (August 27, 2017), suddenly I noticed something odd about my laptop. It's the keyboard, the "e" key somewhat wont register anymore no matte how many times I pressed it. Tried restarting, still no luck. So that was really sad. But then a few moments later, MORE keys stopped working, like the dash key beside zero, the numpad 8, 9, and +, the right arrow key, and the worst of all, the function key on my laptop. Now it was really really frustrating now since a lot aren't working now and it feels like more is going to come, though so far only one letter key has died, at least I still can type a bit well, with just copying the letter "e" and pasting it everytime i need to type "e".
But then, things got worse today (August 28, 2017), when I was planning to buy an external keyboard and have my laptop also brought over so I can test the keyboard there. I plugged in the laptop battery and guess what, it's completely 0%. I tried to restart and replugging it, but to no avail, it's really. Completely. Dead. The weird thing is that last week the battery was still working well, still can charge up to 80%, throughout the week i never left my battery in the laptop, i just kept it beside me on the desk. How the heck did it die? I don't friggin' know. Usually these things happen if you overcharge the battery, but in this case i never did throughout the week. So it's either some fucking weird black magic cursed my battery to wont work anymore, or it's that something else contributed to this damage, even if it's not plugged in.
So I was really, really, really mad now, very frustrating and disappointing. I feel like this laptop is about to reach its end soon. So what am I going to do? well, probably tell my dad about it and hopefully we'd get this fixed. But for now, I'll just have to deal with it... guh. This totally got in the way of me doing my commissions, but i'll try to still work on it. ;w;

So while I was working on commissions yesterday (August 27, 2017), suddenly I noticed something odd about my laptop. It's the keyboard, the "e" key somewhat wont register anymore no matte how many times I pressed it. Tried restarting, still no luck. So that was really sad. But then a few moments later, MORE keys stopped working, like the dash key beside zero, the numpad 8, 9, and +, the right arrow key, and the worst of all, the function key on my laptop. Now it was really really frustrating now since a lot aren't working now and it feels like more is going to come, though so far only one letter key has died, at least I still can type a bit well, with just copying the letter "e" and pasting it everytime i need to type "e".
But then, things got worse today (August 28, 2017), when I was planning to buy an external keyboard and have my laptop also brought over so I can test the keyboard there. I plugged in the laptop battery and guess what, it's completely 0%. I tried to restart and replugging it, but to no avail, it's really. Completely. Dead. The weird thing is that last week the battery was still working well, still can charge up to 80%, throughout the week i never left my battery in the laptop, i just kept it beside me on the desk. How the heck did it die? I don't friggin' know. Usually these things happen if you overcharge the battery, but in this case i never did throughout the week. So it's either some fucking weird black magic cursed my battery to wont work anymore, or it's that something else contributed to this damage, even if it's not plugged in.
So I was really, really, really mad now, very frustrating and disappointing. I feel like this laptop is about to reach its end soon. So what am I going to do? well, probably tell my dad about it and hopefully we'd get this fixed. But for now, I'll just have to deal with it... guh. This totally got in the way of me doing my commissions, but i'll try to still work on it. ;w;

It's been a long while since I've had an update like this, but this one may be a bit eh to some of you, especially for those who are planning to commission me for the next batch. Yes, I'm about to do a price hike on my artworks. Now, first of all, why? Well, through the years I have been improving in my artworks, and the difference is clear as water, the style and quality of my art is not like of the past years anymore, and I think it deserves to be priced quite higher for a full color complex piece. But not only I've thought to this myself, I've also asked a few other people what they think for a price hike, also that one of my friends did tell me that for the work I'm doing, the quality, also the time it takes to finish one commission, he says that I am underpricing myself. He's not wrong honestly, some others also say that I should raise my prices more because I deserve it.
Now, I'm making this announcement just so for those furs who are watching me, and also planning to commission me next time, to be informed beforehand for this price hike. Of course the next question you furs will ask is, what will be the new prices? Well, for an advanced look, here's my proposed new prices for my commissions, note that I will have to make a new commission sheet along it as well because I'm also going to put some new notes on it, it will come soon, but not now. Anyway, here's the prices:

Colored Sketch (Headshots) - $15 (Full body also available, for a bit higher price)
Full Color - $25 (Simple full color, simple flat shaded and simple background)

Health Update and Commissions
General | Posted 9 years agoHello guys, so, an update about well me and stuff. So recently, I've been very ill and was bedridden for days. Cause? well, I got a really horrible flu that wouldn't go away and just keeps coming back. Headache, high fever, horrible chilling, and some joint pain. Then it followed by a horrible diarrhea and stomachache, So I was brought to a clinic to have a check up, well, two times actually. Then it was found out, that it had to do something with intestinal issues, probably cause of me being a meat-lover, well, you know. So I was prohibited to eat meat, and drink softdrinks for a while, along with staying up late and tiring my eyes in front of the laptop or TV. While I was given 6 different meds to take 3x a day. Yeah, all 6 of them lol.
So what is my current status? well right now I still experience some stomach ache but definitely really little now and less frequent, which is good. My flu is also gone. Though I'll still be monitored about reactions and stuff.
I should be able to do bit-by-bit progress on the commissions, though I will be limited to how long I can work in a day. So I bring back the commission slots-- which are full though lol, but will serve as update. (Will update or possibly make a new separate journal for updates within the commissions)

Temporary "On-Hold" for Art Commissions
General | Posted 9 years agoI have not been feeling well since friday, and it turns out i have this horrible flu and I could barely do work. It's been 3 days now, and I still have it. Along with headache, stomachache(diarrhea i think), chilling, fever, and weakening.

I have decided to start on a big saving project thingy (idk how to call it) for me to be able to go back to Singapore in 2017. Why you may ask? well there's this poofy foxy metersprower that I'd wanna visit again, and HOPEFULLY I'll have all the motivation I need to definitely work far off and more, more than what my body could handle even.
So! Starting from this day, I'm opening commission slots. I'll open up 5 slots, get them filled, close it, work on it non-stop, submit all of them, then repeat process. Post-Vacation Update
General | Posted 9 years agoSo! I'm back here in the Philippines, aaaaanddd... i'm not that too happy about going back lol. I seriously miss Singapore just as the goddamn plane left bound back to Manila. Like, I see Singapore as a place where I can live in peace and all that stuff. But, as much as I'd want to migrate to Singapore, there are obvious factors to this, first is my parents, second is the actual immigration process, third is actually living in Singapore. Third one is for the long term because Singapore itself is a developed country aaaand, from a person who's primarily living in a third-world-country (AKA we're underdeveloped country) It's going to be hard. Plus! Singapore itself has a very high standard of living, which means, you must get a stable and high-paying job so you can live there and pay your bills and such, else, you're better off just begging on the streets or something, IDK.
On the bright side, I was able to meet and spend some lovely time together with metersprower there. Also some other babyfurs like markiliox and some others (If any of you were at the babyfur meetup where I was in, please do message me up here so I'll know ^^) which is a really really great honor to be in, like seriously it's the first time I've been to such a meetup, and to think it's in another country. (Well, to be expected since THERE ARE NO OTHER BABYFURS HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES.)
So! I've had really really lots of fun and as always I love Singapore, and will never ever ever get tired of going back and forth to it. The place is beautiful, fine, and clean. People are disciplined, etc. stuff like that. Beautiful city skyline, with modern architectural marvels such as Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Esplanade, and more so. The last thing I'd wanna say is "I will go back to Singapore. Again. and Again. and Again."
Update! So, new year is coming by, 2017. I'll be planning to open commission slots soon, after I just deal with some stuff. ^^ Until then, stay tuned!

Singapore Vacation!
General | Posted 9 years agoIt's kinda a little too late to make this journal but, just this 23rd of December, me and my dad went off and go to Singapore for a vacation. But for me, primarily, it's because of this sleepu foxy metersprower who's a qt bab.
So yes! For the third time, I've come back to here, in the fine city of Singapore, still fine as always and still improving like damn. Definitely better compared side-by-side with the Philippines which is a third world country. Singapore is definitely a great place to be in and live-- except for the fact that the standard of living here is kinda high so... yeah, work hard to get a job, a space to live in, or a car. Private houses are goddamn expensive as fuck luxury here, so you'd have to resort to these uh apartment thingy buildings (which are very common by the way)
SO, yeah! I'll be back by the 28th.

The 20th year of my life
General | Posted 9 years agoSo today is my birthday and like, huh, I'm still alive huh? Yes I am. Thankfully. I just turned 20 soooo, man I'm entering close to mid age or so. Oh yeah and I'm not a teenager anymore. Anyways sooo, new year, new life, probably new beginnings? Who knows what awaits me for my 20th year? I don't know.
It's been a heck of a roller coaster ride of emotions of ups and downs throughout my 19th year, like damn serious. I do hope this new year for me will be a good one.

This term hasn't been going quite well for me so I have to focus on academic works and stuff. So what does this mean for me? Well. But don't worry, I shall bring up another set soon enough when I'm done with stuff I have to handle. I only have this week for a vacation... I'm serious, it's that short and I know it's bad... Anyway, I'm trying my best to finish this last commission before I open up new slots but I might actually include the new slots while I'm at it or so.
Also due to my art style already changing (hopefully for the better? lol) I might actually rework on my commission sheet and kinda hike up on my prices, don't worry it's not a big jump or something, heck as if my style would ever break $60, but that's far from happening, very very far. Another thing is that I might also release finally my fursona, well it's been really in a standstill for a long time but I figured I might as well just release him.
Oh another thing, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Now I know some of you hate Windows 10, but to each his own, I kinda like it myself. lol

General | Posted 9 years agoSo! Philippines Presidential Elections 2016, for the first time I was able to partake in the voting process since I'm already a legal and registered voter. The next day, we already have a clear winner on who will be the new president, search it up if you want to know who. heh. I just hope this new president can "actually" make Philippines a better and safer place to live in, and jeez please no more corruption shizz and whatever stuff like that, I hope.
But come what may, the people voted for this new president anyway, so they should expect whatever things the new president will do. Me well, I'm just grateful for the new president and other than that, I'll just continue to do whatever I have to do in my life, college, art, drawing, commissions, blablabla you get the deal. :P

I can hardly work on this kind of temperature ;A; like imagine just taking a nice cold bath and in less than 30 minutes after, you're already sweating like a pig.
