I joined this site ten years ago, back in 2006. Back in those days, I wasn't very confident. I was unsure about a lot of things, especially relating to who I am, and who I want to be. I was in denial about a some aspects of my identity, and completely ignorant of others. When I created this account, it wasn't to get in touch with others, or to get involved, it was to lurk, and admire the amazing art produced by the artists on this site.

Things have changed since then...

In the last two and a half years, I've begun meeting many wonderful people in this community and around it, And have started to get a better understanding and acceptance of who I am. I wouldn't say I'm confident, or any less prone to anxiety, but I want to get out there and try being a part of the community that has been around me these past ten years. I can't stay a lurker anymore, and that's why I made https://www.furaffinity.net/user/treesystoat/. I'll be moving to this new account and over the coming days/weeks I'll be rewatching all the artists I admire, as well as favouriting some of their art that I love.

I hope to get to know all of you better as I move on, so don't be afraid to say hi. This stoat doesn't bite, though he may nibble a little bit :P
