So, for those who haven't realized it yet, I just about caught up with moving the old smut from my main to here awhile back. I still plan to move that one nude ref of Zitra over here, but I want to make some tweaks to it before I do that. That aside, everything I upload from here on out will be new stuff never before posted to my main account!

There's also the matter of re-faving all of the stuff from my main account, which is going to take quite awhile to accomplish, given that there's YEARS worth of content I need to go through there, but it's coming along slowly but surely. Once I'm all caught up with that, I plan to alter my main account's settings so only clean content is displayed under that tab. As you can tell, I am indeed serious about making my main into a (mostly) SFW account.

Lastly, I'll still need to look into re-following all of the accounts of note here. It's been a low priority, what with everything else I need to do and everyone I want to follow I already do under my main. But know I am going to look into doing that eventually with the lot of you. I just need to spruce up the account a little more before I get around to it.

Anyway, just wanted to post this entry to bury the old one, and to let everyone know that I'm still working on making this alt account work!

Alright, so although it took longer than expected, I'm now pretty much caught up with moving all of the more vanilla stuff to this account!

There's still a matter of transferring the more... extreme content here, which I've admittedly been having second thoughts about lately. Have you ever felt like you went too far with indulging in a fetish? Like... you got some art of it when you were feeling super horny, and once the horniness wore off, it left you now wondering if maybe you need to reel things back quite a bit? That's kind of how I've been feeling for the past month or so about some of the extreme art I got lately.

Regardless, if I do decide to upload that kind of content here in the coming days (which may still happen since I don't like withholding art I get unless there's a good reason to do such, like personal promises to friends or prior business agreements), I'll likely put them in Scraps so they don't show up in my main gallery unless viewers are actively looking for that kind of stuff. I know, however, that art uploaded to Scraps will show up in the inboxes of those who follow me, so you folks may want to update your blacklists if you don't want to see that kind of content, just in case.

Once that's done (or I simply choose not to reupload that art here), I'll begin posting legitimately new art I got and not just re-uploads of stuff that was already on my main account until recently. This account is the recently-made NSFW alt of SilverMelee. I've gone by that particular name in online spaces since turning 18 back in late '07, and have had an account here since '08. Around 2019, I began to share lewd art alongside the clean stuff and have continued to do such in the years since, but...

I'm at the point where I'm no longer comfortable with allowing the two to mingle together. You've heard of porn addiction? Well, this is porn exhaustion, and I honestly can't stand to see all of that NSFW art alongside the SFW content anymore. It's not what I want people to immediately think of when they see my characters, but it's understandably hard not to do that when your main account has both artwork featuring character development and how they live/interact on a day-to-day basis right next to porn of them fellating horse genitalia and taking wolf knots. It wasn't so bad at first, but I've noticed recently that when you count all the different variants of each drawing I get, I now have almost as much commissioned lewd art as I do of commissioned clean art. Some of you may be okay with that, but it's come to bother me very deeply.

So does that mean I'm done with NSFW art? That my days of commissioning such art are behind me?

NO.
I doubt I'll ever stop commissioning porn, especially not as long as so many great artists out continue to make hot stuff and irresistible YCHes that are too good to turn down. However, to ensure I can get some peace of mind and ensure the people who want one thing out of me don't have to get exposed to the other, I decided to make this account where I will be slowly but surely moving much of the smut from my main account. I still want people to be able to access it, after all, though there's no doubt some suggestive art will remain over there - my main issue is mainly with the harder explicit stuff. As it stands, this is my current plan:

- Start uploading much of the NSFW art from my main account to here.
- If a pic has a SFW counterpart, that counterpart will remain on the main account, but I'll still link to it in the upper section of the pic description.
- Likewise, if the artist has done other works for me, be it SFW or otherwise, I will continue to link to them at the very bottom the description with few exceptions. SFW pics will link back to my main account and vice versa.
- Once I'm all caught up with moving all of the pornographic works here and links in the descriptions are adjusted accordingly, I'll begin deleting the duplicate adult material on my main, finalizing the shift to make it (mostly) SFW.

We'll see where things go from there and how long I can continue the push before I run out of steam, but hopefully I'll be able to pull through with it and not lose too many favs and followers. That said, I do wish FA had an option to switch between accounts quickly like what Twitter does... it's not fun having to manually log out and log back in with your alt.
