It's been so many years, and things had improved a lot since then. Hell I love this site again despite all the flaws.

I'm gonna upload on this site again because it seems it's the only one people use consistently after people moved on to twitter and such. No I haven't forgotten all the freaking bollocks the guys on top have pulled off, they seemingly doing well now doesn't mean I'll trust em, but at least I don't fear saying this anymore from fear of being banned for simply saying that so I guess that's something.

I know most have their stuff already backed, either on hard drives or other sites. But considering this site has around 10 years of exploits barely taken care of, if at all, and now the site is back after not even 2 days... it's bound to still have tons of unpatched holes, really easy to exploit ones, and anyone with the sourcecode can find em easily, and in the past the many serious ones were also the easiest to exploit so.

For one huge reason over any other... THERE' STHIS FUCKING AD THAT CRASHED MY FIREFOX

There's this piece of shit ad that crashes my browser each time it appears, it just causes a huge memory leak and kills it. It only appears at 1 other site, but on that one it doesn't crash my browser, just pops up a "kill script" message and that's it. But even when I want to check this site I fucking can't, that piece of shit keeps coming up, killing my bloody Firefox, which just makes me not want to use this fucking site anymore.

I did send a tweet to both dragoneer and FA's official accounts, but hey watcha know no response so whatever.

Also for bonus points... THAT AD CAME UP WHEN I WAS WRITING THIS JOURNAL. For the first time it didn't outright crash my browsesr and did pop up the kill script prompt, but that was the first time it has happened while using this site.

I got a suspension from my previous 2 journals, now I got it removed! Just as out of nowhere... well I'm glad about that but still so weird.

So, having myself a quite tough to properly diagnose and took years to do so syndrome, I know first hand how difficult finding proper treatment and raising awareness for certain health issues truly is. So whenever I find a chance to signal boost this kind of stuff, I freaking will. I got this quote from my pal  zidders which hell yeah I'm gonna help raise awareness of this bloody thing!

Have feelings of positive denomination and things!

After seeing exactly how terrible things can go here, and all the people concerned about it, I thought that wow, this time, things are going for the better! I and so many more people are using weasyl so much more! Being so much more active! If this keeps up weasyl will have so much more people using it actively since this place is crumbling down slowly thanks to the administration screwing up way too much!

But as time went on, people started slowly putting their art first here again, and then started posting art in weasyl in bulk after a bunch of their pics were posted here first, and now it's all slowly going quite again.

I didn't want to leave this site before, and before I meant 1 month ago, but this place just is way, WAY too battered. I still don't want to, and will still use it but; The administration keeps going worse and worse, the site is running terribly, and I saw that, and wanted to use a site that will most likely not collapse on itself like a dying star and get everything in it with it. Cos how this site is being kept, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened, and we lost a really good amount, if all, of the info we keep here. But people just keeping going back to here slowly, and leaving other sites alone.
