So....ever since the end of last quarter at school...I've had this terrible, aweful case of artist's block. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've done a few things...but...I just can't quite seem to bring myself to seriously sit down and put the time into something artistic. I'm so sad, I feel like I'm missing part of myself that was always there before, and I'm not sure what to do to find it again.

*sigh*

So if you're wondering where I've been....I've been working, and going to school, and doing homework, and........staring at blank pieces of paper and blank computer screens, thinking about all the art I'd like to be doing.

Oh well, I suppose it'll come in time.

Back from the beach now, staying at my parents house for the next week before going back to school for my summer classes. (bleh.) The beach was amazing...I saw dolphins and crabs and baby clams and birds and...........*excited face* I also got to go parasailing and jet ski ing for the first time ever, it was amazing!!! xD And of course, lots of shopping on the boardwalk. ^.=.^

As far as my artwork goes, I've finished all of my art trades for now. If you want to commission me or ask for a trade, send me a note, but just as a warning....I really need to have some time to myself right now, just to do some art for me. So I might not accept any sort of trades or requests for a little while.

As a final note, I just wanted to clarify something. On my last submission (Tattood Spirit), I was very upset by the first person to comment. Looking back, I feel like I may have been overly bitchy, so I hope that none of you think any less of me. I was just so.....upset.............it was the wrong time, on the wrong submission. Normally I would not mind critiques, they help me to improve my artwork. But that particular piece was really something just for me........and I wasn't going to show anyone....and my brother was already an asshole about it......and I was tired, and sad, and I don't have much to look forward to right now. And the comment just sort of struck a cord, and I was so upset that I pretty much cried all night. Pathetic, I know. >.=.< But that was sort of my mindset when I read it. So please, don't get the wrong idea...I'm open to criticism if you like, obviously my artwork isn't perfect, or anywhere close, and I would like to improve. Just please, don't be nasty about it, you know?

So, I'm finally on break...I've got three weeks to see my friends, go to the beach with my family, work on arts for me, and....hopefully....get some rest and peace of mind. This last quarter at school was really hard on me. A lot of family things were going on, I was severely depressed, I broke up with my boyfriend of over two years, I almost had to withdraw from a class that I loved.......then I hooked up with this other guy (who is ENORMOUS if you want to know, I didn't know that...part...could actually be that big......xD too much information, I know, lol, but I wanted to brag about my hot baby for a minute, he was a marine and he's got rock solid muscles too, and dragon tattoos all down his torso......) This guy was really there for me though, for a long time, he's a sweetheart and I'm totally crushing on him and I hope this goes somewhere. But he knocked me out of my depression, and kind of picked up the pieces of me that were lying in the dust. And for that I'm very grateful. But in any case I think I really needed this time to myself, to relax and recover.

In any case, I finished up all my art trades except for  Razor_Crimsonwing , which I am starting right now. After this I'm thinking probably no more requests or trades for a while, I really have to focus on art for myself for a while, unless of course you're willing to commission me in which case I could always use some extra money. If that's the case, just send me a note.

...is bumming me out!!! I haven't had the internet in about a week now at my house, so uploading new stuff has been done sneakily at the school. Shhh!!! ^_~

But, my arts are coming along. I've been doing this way too much with all the schoolwork I have to do, but I've been so depressed lately I figure I'll do things that make me happy too.

Alright, so, it's been a while since I've posted...well...anything, lol. I've finally finished (for now) a request by Dragonfan, who was the first to get ahold of me after my last journal entry. Have no fear...if you're waiting for art from me I AM getting to it!!! I've been ridiculously busy with school and work and a lot of family stuff came up. That being said, next in line for artwork is:

*danielssj: sketch begun (I might surprise you, which might make this take a little longer too, so just bear with me)

*javajive: getting to it (Incidentally, she drew me the most BEAUTIFUL picture....everyone should totally check out her stuff it's amazing!)

Other things I'd like to get around to but probably won't until my break in a few weeks:
*a new animated avatar (because I can and now I won't have to use a mouse!)
*a chibi version of Tanis in her new design(because I love cute things)
*a submission to ClownCarOnFire's contest (because it's filled with win)

On a side note...this might sound stupid, but I still have no idea how to get the little icon thingys in a post in place of/next to someone's name. Everyone else seems to be able to do it. Am I missing something obvious? Will someone lend me a hand please and forgive my slowness?

Just a question...would anyone want me to do commissions for them? Because I would be totally willing. I will even animate something for you, as long as it's brief...like, say, a yiffing cycle. Animation would be done in Flash, could be full color, full background, etc. I know I don't have any samples of my animations here, but you can see them at

I can make avatars, animated or no. Sketches, inked drawings, colored...you name it. We can discuss prices...I have an idea of what I'd like to charge but I'm willing to haggle!

I will draw or animate anything for you as long as it doesn't include anything too violent or bloody...bondage is fine, just not some of the more demented stuff.

I'm also willing to do art trades, I think it would be really fun! The trade doesn't have to be visual...I would draw something for a story, poem, song, etc, just send me a note about it.

So because I finally submitted a real image of my fursona, I thought I should also write a little something. I've been ridiculously busy with school, working one and a half jobs, and looking for internships (which I got...YAY!) so I haven't really had much free time lately. I also got into a sort of fight with my BF about being a furry (or scalie, in my case!) and I was so upset I just couldn't draw anything. I just don't understand why he's so opposed to it....but we had a talk, and everything's cool now. But his intolerance is the main reason it took me so long to make an account in the first place...but I can't deny that the whole furry thing is interesting/fun/sexy! ^_~

In any case, if it's at all possible I'm going to try to make some short furry Flash animations. If you want a moving avatar done it would be incredibly easy to do now that I know how...I'm probably going to redo mine so that it looks prettier! I also made this really sweet 3D iguana for class this quarter, I might post it because I LOVE iguanas and I would also love to show her off!
