I'm really just popping this up here to have a new pinned journal, and maybe mine yall for some feedback!

Clearly, I can see the stats; I can see the wide scope of certain pieces' individual popularity, but I wasn't a math major, so hard data only does so much for me. Conversely (and maybe controversially), I was an creative writing/English major, so essays and messages do A LOT more for me!

As such, I'd like to start a little open Socratic seminar! Some dialogue~

Thank yall for these so far! I went to go hang out, but I'm about to answer all of them! Keep an eye out on that page for answers, if you don't wanna wait for a journal roundup !

couldn't think of a better title Right! So after a little back and forth with  beinghappy on a recent piece, it seems like there's SOME desire for actual stats and description, so I'm here to provide. Not gonna limit myself to a certain word count like the "Who's That?" series (did anyone...even read those-), so let's get crackin'.

Going in order of character listing:


Galen
Penis. 4.25 inches (10.8cm) erect, average for his small build. Grower. Small tip. Smallish gonads, close to the body. No noticeable veins throughout. Circumcised. Fine-haired, tidy, and trimmed pubic mound ("bush"), shaves and/or waxes as necessary for balls/taint/butt (though rare). Sub-average ejaculate volume, but low vitality -- drips instead of shoots. Testimonial: "I plan on doing a white or gray gradient background with bright green soundwaves like the color of their eyes
". That was the bulk of the note I received with the preliminary sketch, the first time I commissioned him. By this point, I'd been in this game for well over a year, so abbreviated and absentee commissions were nothing dreadfully new to me, but let's face it -- anyone would be unsure about being absent for a streamed commission when its the FIRST TIME dealing with someone. Unlike offline commissions, knowing that I forfeited my right to intervene on that occasion really got to me. And such a short blurb of what I could expect didn't much placate me. Fortunately those fears ended up unfounded.

It was done within the hour of getting that sketch, and by the end of that week, Vistaprint owed me another poster.

SAFE TO SAY, a year and a half on, I've been bugging Joey for that hot n' fresh art, enamored with all those details I listed above, along with his level of banter. The weekend commission streams put on are legitimate good fun; even if I'm not throwing around money, I legitimately look forward to them and the fun frantic nature of that chat. And despite him being a dirty watermelon lover, his evergrowing skills and realness are why I can ascertain you quality and good times while working with him.

Tiran Sula

A moody man who could do great things, if only he had an ounce of philanthropy. Gifted from the outset and aware of it, he's always been abusive towards anyone respectful towards his talents, and destructive towards those who weren't. A dangerous trait to have for someone in the medical field. Though not unfamiliar with being torn down, even edging towards sympathy for his victims at times, he's no saint. Just a crow that walks like a man, after flesh and blood.

Routinely hospitalized as a child. Terminally lonely, weak-willed, and self-abasing into his teens. Utterly, painfully average in his own eyes forever. That's the hand Galen found himself dealt well before his world threatened to end innumerable times. How does such a person recover from that? As it turned out, a little magic -- and a little love. As frequently as he edged towards giving it all up, a bit faithless in his abilities and place among people even today, he finds his way forward as an illusionist.

-Very clinical and neat in life/his home. Beige walls, grey sheets, white dishes, you get the idea. (This is why ABDL, omorashi, watersports pieces are strictly non-canon.)
-Has diagnosed generalized anxiety disorder. Has required intervention and psychotherapy for trauma-induced depressive episodes. Has attempted suicide (specific details change depending on current canon, but it's always by gun).
-Formerly Christian, but lost his faith.
-Runic is his significant other in all canons where they appear together, and is the best thing keeping him level! See Snowshine for more interactions between them!

So alongside the Hall of Fame journal posts that I’m doing (first two seen HERE and HERE), I wanna take a run at giving yall the rundown on my cast of characters. As fun as it is sometimes to see them as kinked up cyphers, I figure having some context in a public place could stir up some conversation and questions about them. That’s the dream, anyway!

But here’s the deal: I don’t want to blow anyone out with too much information to take in at once, so I’m going to challenge myself to describing their personalities in 100 words or less. Name, stats, kinks, and trivia won’t count towards that count, but I will still keep it as concise as possible for easy digestion. Wish me luck.

Falling in love with a domineering first-year in Rifchee, he does anything for them, frequently letting himself cross the line of decency for that end. Gotta say, Fall 2016 was a pretty good time for me. Maybe not personally, but in terms of finding artists I didn’t know I would still be patron to two entire years later. I can only vaguely remember how I came across her page; pretty sure I was looking for ANY human artist on here at the time, and especially ones who I could afford on my waning money supply thanks to my then-job being particularly bad with hours. Nearly two years after that point, and being a nerd in emails towards her (Yugioh chatting, can’t beat it!), I’m a regular victim spender at her Picarto streams! Though I’ve gone a bit slack as of late, most of my characters’ and even a best friend’s character have key images done up by Tetsu, and are the first images seen in their off-site galleries! She’s, quite literally, one of the art styles I link most closely to the vast swathe of my crew, and that can’t be overstated.

And though it started from being underpaid (not out of malice, but out of my personal lack of funds and abundance of maladaptive sadness), I can only hope I’ve shown how much I appreciate her works and work ethic, and repaid her for it.

A more than worthy, superlative artist to get to know, let alone work with~

So I've been kicking an idea around lately -as I've had plenty of time to commission a few people multiple times, I figured I should take what little position I have, and give some shine to them in a more thorough way! Nearly two years ago, as of posting, I found Coillte on a random search on this site; if memory recalls, it was due to me looking for some Yugioh content, like the absolute Slifer Slacker degenerate that I am, and coming across a sketch sale she had going at the time. The prices were low, like 10-15€ for a toned monochrome sketch so cleaned, they should have been called lines. Still, I liked what I saw, and wanted a sketch (and a lineart too, since the prices were so similar), so why the hell not? What some people don't realize is that artists of any known stature can be terrifying, or stressful. So, I can't explain enough how that demeanor helped --even if I chalked it up to professional distance.

Twenty-one months later, and I'm still going; while I understand that I'm a bit of an annoying git who keeps getting commissions and Patreon rewards of my own characters (which means, we're talking 1-3 pieces A MONTH of them), I wouldn't trade that random September night's note for anything. I helped bankroll a wonderful artist off of it, but much more importantly, I met a wonderful person and friend because of it. Someone who I can brag on for being so talented, so sweet, and so stupidly professional despite not calling herself as such! With the heart of a creator, and as someone who does art for her own enjoyment, her clients' happiness, and for profit, I can honestly say that Coillte is a SUPERB choice to work with. Give her a shot for commissions, maybe a backing on Patreon -- or maybe just a shout for her excellent work. But please don't overlook such a great, great person.
