As of today I finished with my first chapter of the comics - and already deep into the second, more vivid (and longer) chapter. I think that the story will become more enticing for the next installment, as it is more colorful and has more space for the characters. I envision it as a 10-12 chapters comics, if I'll be able to do so. I enjoy drawing it, and this is the first time in years I'm drawing according to my full content and will. If you have any comments or critique I would like to hear them.

OK - so the reason I was away for almost half a year is because my apartment exploded.
No, this is not a metaphor, or a unique idiom. A whole room burned down and one wall just fell out of the building, the whole f&*!ing wall (this is not a battlezone mind you).
Nobody knows the reason for that, since there is no gas, no electricity device malfunction, we were away for 2 days before that.. but that's not the point.

If I had been there - I could be seriously injured, or worse.

This drama happened when I was away, and nobody got hurt, not even bystanders, which is surprisingly good thing, and could be considered as a small miracle.
But from this point forwards I had to fight my way in order to speak with the nice neighbors, the insurance company, the police, the fire department, the municipality, find a new apartment, rescue my belongings etc. And the owner. Oh god, the owner. So much headache, so little caring or responsibility. While I stayed with family or in the hotel, he slept comfortably in his bed, and did not provide us with any help or even crucial information, information that costs me money and time.

Well, now I'm on my feets again. It's been rough, and it is not the end of it.
I'm happy again that I have my own place, I'm healthy, my computer survived.
It gave me some perspective about what is important, and what is secondary. What should I care for and what I want to do. It forced me to be a bit more aggressive and much more assertive (I also thought that I want to try some new things with my art, so I'll give it a shot).

This experience taught me a lot. While dealing with bureaucracy I understood why Kafka was a genius and one of the few who could describe the flaws of modern machine-like society. Kafka you sharp bastard! I also found that there are more and more questions and less answers, our world is not as stable as we would like it to be (or think it is). There are no clear answers, things are confusing, even more now. But there are several good people, that care, help and give you power to continue. It is amazing to find those who sympathize with you and reach out. Some offered us residence for the time being, others helped with paper work, or just listened. I hope that I'll be like one of those people, not a saint, just someone who is there for a friend if in trouble, without questions or delay. Do you feel the same too?

So - back to work!
It's good to be back again

Hi, just wanted to say to all the watchers and friends - thank you for all your support and comments.
In the last months I wasn't so active , and now I'm back and trying to do some more art, working on several pieces.
I have dozens of sketches to convert to proper drawings :)

OK. so there are some good news! I'm back again! Doing exchange semester with younger students (than I am) so i'll never have a lot of time for art, but since it's one of my favorite hobbies, I won't let it go. I'm not gonna be an artist, as a career (I'll have another one, thank you), but I'm feeling quite good with myself and with my improvement over the last year.

Now, I know you cannot see the improvement yet, but you'll notice it in a couple of months once i'll get my scanner.
So it's time to do some more coloring, more drawing and more character design. Do you know this feeling when you are so excited about drawing you cannot wait till your next work? mmmmm :)

And on a different matter: Book! I know this is an art forum but those books I've recently read, are really good and inspiring. While riding the public transportation i always take a book with me, not to let my time go to waste, and those books just made my month a lot better:

- The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Milan Kundera
- SoI&F, A Feast for Crows, GRRM
- Doctor Sleep - Steven King

Ok, so I'm in the middle of the end of this semester and I've got tons of things to be done.
It's gonna be tough till the end, but afterwards it will be like heaven.

I'm deep into the semester and I sleep on average 5-6 hour's (and not, it's not for drawing anything).

OK, as you can see I'm back from my vacation, it was really good and mind-clearing.
Get out from my own daily routine was just the thing I needed before keep going at full speed.

After some sad occurrences around th world...
It seems to me that we're on the edge of a darker turn in history.
People are filled with anger, rage, fear and madness. Some hate their potential allies, because we're filled with prejudices, arrogance and xenophobia. Others are merciful towards violence, murder and fanatic ideologies because we're too optimistic, indiferrent and it's so much easier to forget our bestial side.
The rising powers in our world are'nt those of democracy, or freedom or peace.
Do you really think that the next year will be any better?

This week was very harsh for me, (I also fell sick but I'm feeling better now),
I'm off to my after-semester vacation for the next month, so I won't upload any new pics, but I'm going to do so soon after. I'll be back and fill the gap.

I was thinking about doing some commissions but eventually I felt uncomfortabel about that.
First, I don't have much free time with all the stress from the university.
Second, I don't feel like dealing with money, payment, contracts etc, right now.
Furthermore, art is above money, or else it is just a picture or a drawing without soul.
However that doesn't mean I won't do any commissions ever.

What I want is to draw some new characters and experience new styles, my way.
So I thought about accomplish that by doing free commissions.

Hi everyone!

I'm just new here and hardly control this format, but I'll try my best.

Anthro art got special place in my heart since about 8 years ago (I think).
It's colorful, enticing, lovely, cute and much more.
not only furries but myth-creatures, insects, birds and reptilians are part of this family for me.
I hope that You'll enjoy my little art.

Right now I'm drawing more insects (for my Bee project), but you'll see a lot of other kinds of anthros.
