Recap: Oria was born the youngest of the sisters, as well as the only one conspicuously who hasn't inherited the same sex drive as her Mama like her sisters have... At any rate, Oria doesn't love her family, despite her reservations over their shameless personalities and forwardness. An avid sci-fi and fantasy fan, she can practically memorize any classics: from Dune to Lord of the Rings. Though not as much as Brigitte, Oria is an intelligent girl who's persuing a major in physics.

Charo, the eldest of the three, was known to have a very hypnotic voice, thus she grew into a femme fatale singer in a popular club… and learned her way with a pump action in case fans got too rowdy. Chevelle, the middle of the three, was a tough girl, but had a soft side beneath her strong build, grew into a prolific MMA fighter known as “the Leveler”. Chrisann, the youngest of the three, was a girl who always knew how to have fun, thus she grew into a rave DJ with the nickname “DJ CD” (the D actually representing her middle name). The three enjoy their line of work, though one does involve injury, and know just how to please their fans.

Recap: Monica is the firstborn and eldest daughter of Eloise. Even from a young age, Monica's pallet was more developed than the other children's. Since her parents' jobs had them working either very early or very late, Monica and her sisters mainly ate takeout as her mama and papa would usually be too exhausted to move a finger. After some time, Monica grew tired of junk food and took upon herself to keep her and her sisters fed should her parent be too busy. Years later, Monica is now an owner, proprietor, as well as head cook of her own restaurant that serves mouth-watering Cajun food.

Okay, I've only five days before I leave on a trip to Las Vegas and I thought, hey; why not make a new "Ask the Character", but during Spring season. Starting with the matriarch of the Corduroys herself; Eloise.

Recap: Eloise was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and worked as an exotic dancer during her young adult life by the name of "Maman Brigitte". Eventually, she starred in a few pornos, only four of which she had the lead role. Okay, as some of you know, I’ve a different Discord due to… unforeseen circumstances; the topic of which I’d rather not get into… but this isn’t about that. No, what I have to say now is that, despite all the fun I had … I was hurt by some people.

Yes, some people said things, things that struck me; hard. I never said anything to most l, because I don't like to cause scenes, but I will admit it now… they said things that really HURT!

Not gonna name who they were or what they said, I won’t demonize them; I’m not that vindictive. Okay, I'm nervous as I make this...

So, my mom decided she wants to go to Japan and take me as well, we have our passports, so we're set for travel... trouble is... I'm kinda freaking out.

Aside from Ensenada (don't know how much it counts though), I've never been out of country and I'm 31! I know it's common to be nervous about things I've not done before, but I can't help it. It's another country, it has its own set of rules it's a different culture; top of that, I can't use chopsticks to save my life. Also, using open wifi can guarantee you'll be hacked since you're not from around. I like anime and tokusatsu and I di enjoy international food/drink/snacks, so those parts sound good. On the wifi part, my mom has said we'll be renting phones. Funny thing is my cousin's been and he enjoyed it, but he's been to a lot of places.

I'll give it a chance, but it won't stop me from being nervous... or have body pains thinking about the half-a-day flight there.

Another funny thing, a good friend of mine here is also going to Japan; that is, if he's not left already.

Okay, as we all know, Austin St. John, the actor who played Jason in Power Rangers, was taken to court for either fake Covid tests or something else. Now everyone’s condemning him, thinking he’s been lying about things and only did the role of Jason recently because he wanted money.

I just… I’m not gonna make a whole scene, I will say this; I don’t think he WILLING did ANY of the things everyone’s accusing him. Whether it be unintentional, or he did do the things he’s charged with WILLING, I’ll only believe when there’s EVIDENCE to PROVE his guilt.

If he did do all that, then he did, I’ll accept that; but I’ll NEVER, and I mean EVER, turn my back on Jason because of it. Jason is an import part of my growing up and nothing will ever change that.

I may be wrong and he COULD be guilty of what he’s been charged and accused of, and like I said, I’ll accept it. But like I also said, I’ll believe it when I see EVIDENCE that PROVES it first.

Till then, everyone’s just on a witch hunt like ‘Cancel Culture’ is back.

Farewell, Akira Toriyama, 4/5/55-3/1/24

Okay, inspired by the comic series “MMPR: The Return”, thought up by the OG Pink lady herself, Amy Jo Johnson; I thought I’d give my take on the MMPR team. Before we start, I’d like to say that this is an AU to the OG series, not any comic or modern material. I’ve nothing against how the show went or the actors who came in after Austin, Walter, and Thuy left, nor anything against Tommy, this is just how I’d picture how events would go. Inspired somewhat by Tirbo after the Zeo Rangers left.

Season 1: The story remains the same since ALL characters remained.

Season 2: At first, the story goes as follows as the team gains the Thunderzords to fight Lord Zedd, Tommy becomes the White Ranger, and Rocky, Adam, Aisha do move to Angel Grove. Difference here is that there is no Peace Conference, Jason, Zack and Trini don’t get replaced, and Tommy doesn’t become the leader of MMPR. Keep in mind, Austin St. John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Trang left a few episodes after Tommy became the White Ranger and the audio was later redubbed. Zordon in the original script to the ep merely said Tommy had new powers and he only became leader after Jason left. It’s not to say he isn’t an important member, he remains relevant. Though they don’t replace the OG Red, Black, and Yellow; Rocky, Adam, and Aisha eventually find out their new friends are the Power Rangers and become helpful allies.

Season 3: For the most part, the story beats remain the same; the Rangers not only lose their powers but the Thunderzords are still destroyed, they meet Ninjor and gain Ninjetti powers, Kat is still an enemy turned ally, time is reversed, Billy’s age is restored before the others, Aisha trades places with Tanya, and the Rangers of Aquatar come to help the heroes. The differences here is that Kim stays as a Ranger, Rocky, Adam, Aisha, and Kat gain Ninjetti powers of their own, which allows them to pilot the Ninja and Shogun Zords as well. Another is that Trini sustains an injury, leading Aisha to temporarily take over as Yellow Ranger. The quest for the Zeo Crystals is slightly longer when Trini returns to action. Throughout this season… all but Tommy and Billy show signs of personal matters happening in their lives.

Zeo: After the Command center becomes the Power Chamber, Power Coins are damaged so badly, that while not gone forever as Zordon thinks, may take years to repair, even with Ninjor’s help. Here, Rocky, Adam, Kat, and Tanya are chosen to be new versions of Power Rangers, with Tommy as the Red Ranger. The MMPR teams Christian’s the new rangers to their roles, though Billy remains after stepping down, the rest drop sad news; each of them is leaving Angel Grove. Aside from Kim going to Florida for her gymnastics training, Zack and his family are moving to Detroit for his senior year of high school, Trini has to go to Vietnam to take care of a relative in poor health, and Jason… he decides to go on a personal quest. Being a Power Ranger and leader for so long made him realize he didn’t know what to with his life, but he promises that if they ever need him, he’d be back in a heartbeat… subtly foreshadowing his return and becoming the Gold Ranger. Though saddened, Billy and Tommy respect their friends’ decisions and wish them luck. At the airport, Zack, Kim, and Trini share a goodbye to their friends as everyone gets into a big group hug, ending as Zack, Kim, and Trini enter the airport.

Now, I know many won’t agree with what I put down, and I respect that, but this is how I feel if Saban wasn’t a cheapass. Feel free to show your opinions, do you agree, do you disagree? What would you have done differently?

Ken: I think I read about this This is King Cake, it's a special cake served for every year during the Mardi Gras season.

Monica: Wow, smart, a great cook, and handsome. seductive No wonder ladies get drawn to you.

The dingo scratched the back of his head, then enjoyed his piece of King Cake, when he noticed something in it; using his fork, he opened the pastry to reveal a little plastic baby.

Jen: Whoa!! You can put toys in this?

Monica: Nope. But this is something good too. You see, children, this plastic baby represents baby Jesus Christ.

The pups listened with interest as the Cajun cook explained.

Monica: You see whoever gets the baby, becomes the King or Queen for the day.

Jen: excitedly Does that make me a princess?!

Monica: giggles Now hold on, you're not a princess like that.

Jen: disappointed I'm not?

Ken: But you still my little princes and princesses. rubs his children's heads affectionately

This cheered up Jen as her and her brother's tails wagged.

Monica: Rather, it means he's to be celebrated on this day. whispers in Ken's ear And in the bedroom with my, m'ah sisters, and mama~ But, the catch is that he has to bring the next King Cake when Mardi Gras begins next year.

With that, the dingo enjoyed their pieces of King Cake, which the pups loved a lot!

Needless to say, it was a fun Fat Tuesday indeed.

HAPPY (belated) Mardi Gras!

It's Valentine's Day and you or your OC have received VIP tickets to "The Den"; a popular gentlemen's club with talented performers, great food and drinks, as well as the perfect ambiance and atmosphere. This night, the theme is around love; particularly Valentine's Day. Many patrons who brought escorts for the evening filled the seats as they entered the massive club, many ordering food and drink to enjoy with their entertainment.

After a few performances, each as jaw-dropping as the last; it was time for the main event. The lights dimmed down, music began to play.



Spotlight searched around the stage until it hit the curtains; after a few minutes, the curtains parted, revealing the stunning form of the star performer: Charo Corduroy. As soon as she was revealed, the hyena bestowed her voice upon the audience.

I soon arrive, placing a hand on her back; she looks up as I give her a look of sympathy. She looked at me for a bit... sobbed, then pulled me into a hug. I Don't stop her, instead, I hug her back, allowing her to let out her emotions.

"He lived a good life. Appolo Creed, Al Dillon, Chubbs Peterson, Greef Karga... he had great roles that everyone will remember,"

Chevelle: sniffles "... Ah know."

"Your mom and sisters are waiting, we were all hoping you'd like to marathon Rocky and Creed movies."

Chevelle: wipes away a tear and smiles "Ah'd love that."

As we all know, the HBO horror series Tales from the Crypt was based on comics from EC, though some were adapted from other comics with different names. People were even graced when movies were made under the TftC name as we know as “Demon Knight”, “Bordello of Blood”, and “Ritual”. Now, it’s an understatement that the last one wasn’t based on any story from the comics, none of the movies were; Ritual wasn’t even a Tales from the Crypt movie to begin with, they just slapped on the Crypt Keeper and try to advertise it with the name.

Though nat a gem, Demon Knight was actually a pretty solid movie that tried to stay in tone with Tales From the Crypt. Bordello of Blood wasn’t as good, and Ritual…. Less said the better. What many people don’t know is that producers from Universal were trying to make a Tales from the Crypt movie trilogy and that Demon Knight was supposed to be the second entry. The movie before Demon Knight was called “Fat Tuesday”, later renamed Dead Easy”, while the one after was called “Body Count”. The cross from Demon Knight was even supposed to be the one prop that connected all three movies together. Sadly, Dead Easy and Body Count never came to be and were considered lost media. Recent, however, many fans weee able to find the script writers, who elaborated on what the plots of each movie were.

Dead Easy even had a private reading with Sean Astin as the main lead. Though there are many things that are in both plots, here’s what I’ve managed to piece together.

Dead Easy/Fat Tuesday: A man living in New Orleans remembers trauma as a boy since his father was from a clan of mystics who’s did something against them. The father was banished and died, but he comes back as a harlequin-like demon and raises an army of zombies. Not only that, but the undead mystic goes after his grandson, leading the MC to get into conflict with him.

Body Count: A modern take on Frankenstein where a college stoner tries making a documentary about war violence, when finds out his uncle hiding a dark secret. Said secret must’ve been that he find a way to bring back the dead as he’s able to resurrect a corpse. But, as you’d expect, something goes wrong when the corpse has a Rambo-like mindset and goes on a vigilante rampage.

How either would go down is still beyond me, and Dead Easy was said to have a prominent Afro-American cast, not as much as The Wiz or Meteor Man since I don’t think the MC was going to be Afro-American, but who can say? One thing I found out, the harlequin demon was showing to be voiced by the Crypt Keeper himself, John Kassir.

And hey, just cause they weren’t adapted then, doesn’t mean they can’t be now. Just keep it away from Blumhouse…. And any other studio who uses CG .

As the title says, there's something I really need to get something off my chest.

Back a while ago, I expressed some concerns to someone.... and they blew up on me; who the person is, I'll not name.

Granted, I may have complained over some things without even realizing it and hey, won't that get on ANYONE'S nerve?

But when they did.... it really, really hurt; I didn't mean to complain and I should have taken into consideration what I was even complaining about. I'm not going to make excuses or make the person in question look bad, and this was a long time ago so I shouldn't take it personally, and I don't, but what they said really hurt. But hey, they likely had more reason for how they acted than I did for bringing up certain topics when I should have just moved on.

Again, I'm not making excuses or trying to make anyone look bad and the reason I haven't said anything till now is because of... well... the passing of someone in the family. Bottling up emotions is NEVER good for mentality. I've moved on from that one time, but I feel that expressing how you feel makes you feel even better.

Now, let's try to make 2024 a, if slightly, decent year.

Okay, it was random, but a sudden memory popped into my head recently.

I remember seeing this animated short on Disney one time long ago.

It’s about a boy and a dragon, and no, it wasn’t Pete’s Dragon. I forget what happens in it exactly but the short ends with it being the boy having a dream and looking up at the sky as one cloud takes the form of his dragon friend.

Like I said, I don’t remember what it’s called or what went down exactly, but if anyone has any info, I hope you can tell me.

Today, I am officially 31.

Tomorrow, I turn 31.

2024 had finally arrived; everyone having partied all night till the New Year Ball dropped. None, however, partied as hard as the Corduroy gals as they hosted quite the gathering for their Year End Party. The girls wanted to do a “Rear End” Party, inspired by a certain feline their mother had met during a trip to her deceased husband’s hometown of Patriarch… but, of course, the baby sister shut it down rather quickly.

The following day, however, the ladies got an idea to do a New Year’s afterparty just because they still had enough energy (and time off from work/school) to spare. Though not everyone could attend, there were still many who came. As they prepped, everything seemed to be in order… that is, until…

Oria: What in the hell do y’all think you’re doing?!

Chrisann: (groans) What’s the problem now, party pooper?

Oria: What’s the problem? What’s the problem?! What the hell do y’all think you’re wearing?!?!

To commemorate the holiday, the matriarch and older sisters wore big top hats and sashes with “2024” slung over their right shoulders. That, however, wasn’t the reason why the youngest daughter was so upset; no… it was because the older ladies where were two-piece bikinis that barely covered their curvaceous bodies with tops colored black and white, and gold for the bottoms.

Chevelle: Hey! The deal was that we wouldn’t do the “Rear End” Party.

Monica: Which is still a rip if you asked me.

Oria: Well, I didn’t ask you! Honestly , do you really have to wear… this?

Charo: I don’t know why you’re so worked up, it’s not as though we’re naked. As fun as that might be.

Eloise: You’ve got a choice, is with this….

Oria: Or….

Eloise: Nothing at all.

Oria: WHAT?!?! You can’t be serious!!!

Eloise: Those are your choices, young lady, and as your mother, you either pick one now, or we pick for you. What’s it going to be?

Brigitte: Seems as though you have very little options.

Oria: Et tu, Brigitte?

Brigitte: I’m not as boisterous as mama or our older sisters, but even I know when to have a good time.

The youngest Corduroy glared at her sisters and mother; did they really have to act this way during this time? Though she still wanted to protest, her mother gave her a stern look… one that made it clear there was no arguing against l. Though hesitant, the young hyena sighed in defeat.

Oria: All right, fine. You win.

Eloise: Knew you’d see it our way, honey. Now, (takes out another top hat, sash and two piece) it’s time for you join us.

Oria: Nu-uh! No way! That’s not happening any time soon! You’re not dressing me like a trollop!

Chevelle: Okay, if that’s your choice, we’ll forget about it after I finished this speech... (she placed a hand on her younger sister’s shoulder) Grab her!

Soon, all the sisters apprehended Oria, who struggled against her sisters’ superior strength, mainly Chevelle’s

Oria: No! Stop it! I don’t wanna! Let me go!

Eloise: Don’t fight it, Sugar, it’s for your own good.

Now normally, Eloise wasn’t a fan of her cubs’ tomfoolery, but she did want her youngest to get out of her comfort zone. As the youngest was taken away, the mother hyena filled them to help “dressing” the youngest.

No matter the holiday, it was never a dull moment wit the Corduroys.

Happy 2024 all!

The New Year is upon us, and as so, I make this final entry for the year. And as such, it involves the two youngest of the Corduroys; Brigitte and Oria.

Brigitte is an intelligent young woman with three Ph.Ds, but is never one to use her intellect to condescend her peers and is actually quite polite most of the time. She does enjoy conducting experiments… all of which involve physical intimacy…. Though she isn’t ignorant of her appearance…

Oria is an avid lover of anything sci-if and fantasy; having extensive knowledge of Star Wars, Lord of the Ribgs, etc. Strangley, her mama and sisters, Oria’s not shown any signs of having the same libido that runs in their blood…. Yet.

If given the chance, what would your OC do to spend time with these two young ladies; only warning, while both are sfw, only Brigitte is nsfw.

As we near the end of the year, we have, not one, not two, but three, count ‘em; three entries. I of course speak of the (non-identical) triplets: Charo, Chevelle, and Chrisann.

Charo is Bond girl-level femme fatale with a melodious voice and a heart of gold, but be forewarned; she’s a good aim with the trigger. If you play your cards right, your OC may be able to make “sweet music” with her.

Chevelle is a rough and tough MMA fighter who’s a softie on the inside and is always game for a good time. Though she may go overboard with the alcohol during the celebration.

Chrisann, as as DJ is, knows how to party all day and night; bringing in the New Year is but one of many talents she’s able to enhance. Guaranteed, New Year’s Eve’ll be more a party with Chrisann at the helm.
