Hey all!

Just letting everyone know that the business will be closed for the month of October, possibly November!

That pretty much only means that email responses may be delayed, and I am not open for refurbishments/repairs at this time. I am still hoping to open up for new quotes and commission work in January, but more info about that will be forthcoming.

Hey everyone!

First of all, thank you SO MUCH for all your interest in my work! It’s really amazing, I couldn’t ask for better customers and potential customers! You guys really make it all possible, and I’m so thankful for all of you.

Regarding opening for commissions – the original plan was to open quite soon here, early March. That’s going to have to wait a bit. I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be opening back up now, but I will be sure and post on here, or on my Twitter (@dmcostumes) when that is going to happen. Current orders are still on track to be completed as planned (that is, orders with deposits paid and payments in progress)

As for just quotes (emailing me to ask how much something will be, not necessarily looking for a commission) I’d kinda prefer if you’d hold off on that for now! Since I don’t know when exactly I plan to re-open, I don’t want to set any expectations. So for the time being, both quotes AND commissions are closed.

I will be re-opening for quotes in March, likely March 1. This will be for July-October completion slots. Depending on how much interest there is, I may not be able to accept everyone, so please make sure you have your reference artwork ready to go! There will be more info about that forthcoming :)

Wow! Due to a high amount of interest (which I am so blown away and honored to receive!) Dream Machine Costumes is booked up for commissions through mid next year!

In an effort to keep wait times shorter, I am CLOSING for new quotes until a later date.

When I decide on a date to re-open, I will announce that here! I am thinking probably January 2016 is when I will re-open. So not closing for long :)

If you've already emailed me, you're still good! I am not cancelling any commissions I have open, or that I am discussing with customers.

HELLO! Thanks so much to all my new watchers (and old!) for your support. I really can't tell you how much I appreciate you all :)

My next con is Rainfurrest and I have a dealers table again this year! I was wondering what you all liked from last year that I can do again, and if you'd like to see any new items this year!

I was thinking of offering a pair of indoor feet this year, as well as maybe handpaws and/or tails? Maybe even a foam base for someone to buy and finish up on their own!

Hey guys!

I will be at FWA this year and I'd love to meet as many of you as I can!

I think it would be really awesome if we could do a photoshoot/meetup at the con.

I'm not personally familiar with the hotel at all, and this is my first FWA. So if anyone has any suggestions to where would be a good place to meet, I'm all ears!

As for time, how about right after the fursuit parade? (Saturday at 1 or so, whenever the parade is over) I know we're often eager to de-suit and relax after the parade, but a quick photoshoot and chit-chat would be really fun, I think!

Just a couple things!

Ref Art:
Please do not send me adult-rated ref sheets :) I haven't mentioned this in the past, so don't worry about it if you've done so, but I don't need to see certain aspects of your character in order to make a fursuit! At the very least, warn me that the artwork is adult rated so I don't open it up in public and get a big surprise!

Weekends:
I try very hard to observe weekends (Sat/Sun) this is important to me to not burn out, and to continue to be able to make awesome fursuits for many years to come! I get email notifications on my phone, but I can't always get to them immediately on a weekend, and sometimes I get back to them on Monday. If you have an urgent concern, please say so in the subject line, so that pops up on my phone and I can make sure to get to it right away!

AZ Fur Con
Is Halloween weekend in Phoenix, AZ! Being that this is my local convention, I'll be there Friday during the day (probably) and Saturday/Saturday night. No table or anything, but it's not a huge con and you should be able to find me. Come say hello! :)

Prices
Base prices will be going up a little bit in 2015 due to demand and overall quality going up! Not sure how much yet, but I'll make an announcement. However, anyone who has a quote AND at least a down payment in by December 31 will not be affected by the price increase.
