So a little "hello" message to say, I am slowly creeping back into the art scene - 2024 took a very interesting turn to say the least, and while I'm not going into any detail about it, we'll say it's been a ride and a half for all involved. I am creeping back slowly, and I know I have some commissions and Ko-Fi Rewards to catch up on.

I will be doing a random sketch stream tomorrow in the Equine Furry Creators Discord and offering up a sketch or two to get back into the rhythm of things and then working on the outstanding comms - I may need to offer a few YCH's between to keep up with bills and the such.

Hey folks - some of you may know that   ScarlaNya has been having some medical issues of late, and unfortunately it hasn't healed on it's own and she's now having multiple, expensive tests run to see if the cause and treatment options can be found.

She has started a separate Ko-Fi to see if she can get some help from the furry and art community. This is the message on her Ko-Fi:

For the last 2 months I have been having problems with my eyes, I had medical exams and I took care of it with the medicine that the doctor recommended, it seemed to improve, but got worse again and I went to the ophthalmologist again. The tests the doctor did showed that I have critical inflammation in all my eye and possibly in the nerves of my eyes as well. It's something serious and can cause loss of vision, the doctor can't say what caused this and there are many possibilities, I was given many tests to do and find out the cause of this inflammation, it can be simple or complex, like something neurological.

I need to do tests such as MRI, x-ray, take blood for 14 tests, test for tuberculosis and there are a few more that I will need to do if these tests don't show anything. These are the most important ones to know and they are expensive. That's why I would like ask for help so I can pay for exams and medical appointments, my father and my aunt are trying to help me as much as they can but they don't have much money available. Any donation will help a lot and I will be really grateful!

Just a quick note to let people know I've just got home from surgery and I'll need a few days/a week or so of recovery time now - Everything went well, and it's looking all ok, I'm just very drowsy now and in a good chunk of pain which is all expected.

But just know I'll be a little quiet and slow to respond (especially with the YCH Collab, I may take a day or two to get back to you about your winning slot etc).

Hey folks, I've been a bit 'offline' from the furry world for a bit - without going into great detail, 'human life' and work has turned very quickly from a good challenging role, to the most toxic environment I have come across; and trust me, in my life of work, I've been in some pretty rotten departments/organisations. Plus the fact, even though my contract is until the end of December, it's rapidly looking like I'll get my '10 days notice' within the month - add on the fact elections are in October which means contracting, and especially my line of work, is very, very dead currently. So the line of up new contracts which was busy and looking fantastic just 6 weeks ago is now completely dead. Add onto the fact I'm the single-income earner for a family of four in the house... no stress right?

On top of that, I've been sick for a bit and fighting with doctors to finally start to get some answers to some ongoing issues I've had for the better part of 30 years, and as of this moment, it's looking like I will have two surgeries coming up whenever they get scheduled in.

I'm starting to get back on track with working on commissions, and you'll see some more movement from me soon

Just letting everyone know that:
a). in all my attempts to avoid picking up a cold before travelling, I have a cold. I hoping to kick it before I travel because I'm visiting family including my grandmother who is 98 and already not feeling well. So I'm a bit slow on art work at the moment because of sickness, and;
b). From Friday to Monday night I'm traveling to visit said family, and it's around 12-14 hours of travel time

So I will not be doing a sketch stream this weekend (however other artists are still doing it at our normal timeslot, so still join in!)

After my return and recovery from traveling and a whirlwind four days, I'll be back to normally (hopefully).

Some updates!

⋆✧~ Commissions Status ~✧⋆

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has contacted me recently about commissions - I've honestly been flooded with commission requests, which both surprises and excites me. Thank you for all your support! This means for now, my commissions will be closed while I get these worked on and completed.

For future commissions, I may follow the trend that a few artists do and do a periodic release of a certain number of commission slots, then work through those, and then open up again etc. I may start off by opening just a few slots at a time to see how I can progress through them without having people waiting too long.

I will be updating my price list to include a few extra things like: reference sheets, sketches, sketches with flat colors etc. So there will be more options out there.

With the whisper of an idea to a few friends, the Equine Furry Creators Discord was born with a bang - I was planning to set this up, get a few things sorted and then advertise it around a little more, but thankfully I had some offers of help from some amazing moderators who have taken up the reins and bolted with the idea and got the server buzzing in a blink of an eye!

The server's purpose is pretty simple - we're here to appreciate, support and encourage equine creators of all genre's in their craft! Whether you are an artist, writer, voice actor or someone who enjoys all things equine-related, this server is a place to grow, share, support and be a safe place to spend your free time. We've got some cool plans in the works for the server, including:

* Creator of the Month - Highlighting a creator each month, including an interview with them to learn more about them and what they do, having their own channel to advertise their commissions, previous work, and anything else they want to talk about and share and their own rank to make them stand out in the server. The idea is for creators to submit themselves for this each month so we can time it for when they may have openings for commissions to help signal boost them to potential commissioners etc.
* Streaming Channels - Creators can create events and stream in SFW & NSFW channels as they please. You can stream solo in a channel, or have other creators join you to have a 'multi-stream' together where watchers can view multiple streams at the same time.
* Fundraising - This was just a brain child of mine over night, but I'd love to run some fundraising streams in the discord for charities we all know and want to support. May be a yearly or six monthly thing, we'll see.

If you have any suggestions for the server, I am more than happy to hear them - after all, my motto for this server is very much: "For the Equine Creators, by the Equine Creators".

✧ Being 18 years or older
✧ Payment through Paypal - I send Paypal invoices to keep track of who is paying for what
✧ Link back to my FA account when uploading my work - support your artists
✧ Ownership of my work belongs to myself as the artist, and the owner of the characters involved in the artwork
✧ Do not show my NSFW to anyone under the age of 18
✧ Do not edit out my watermark
✧ My turn-around time varies depending on my workload (both art workload and “day job” workload) - however I will stay in communication with you so you know where your art is at
✧ Priority of commission work is based on who signed-up and paid first - if I am waiting for an answer to a question/clarification on a piece, I will start working on the next commission to keep my workflow moving
✧ I will complete a rough sketch of your commission idea before asking for payment - I reserve the right to use this sketch in a future YCH if you decide to not use that pose/sketch for your commission and/or cancel the commission at this stage. Full ownership of the sketch belongs to me
✧ Please come to me with an idea fleshed out - I have a hectic schedule as it is, so I don't have the time to discuss an art project and flesh out every single detail back and forward. I don't mind discuss what's possible/not possible to help you decide, but I can't have 100 messages of you changing the idea each time

⋆✧~ Payment Information ~✧⋆
✧ All prices are in USD$
✧ Payment is due within 48 hours of winning a YCH slot/acceptance of commission sketch
✧ Payment in full is required before any work is commenced past a sketch phase
✧ I only accept Paypal as a form of payment
✧ Once a commission/YCH is finished, the payment is non-refundable
✧ Sometimes I will offer time-payments (mentioned on the advert) - please discuss these with me before you bid/purchase. The final artwork will not be released until payment has been received

⋆✧~ Declines & Cancellations ~✧⋆
✧ I reserve the right to decline a commission for any undisclosed reason
✧ I reserved the right to cancel a commission and refund the commissioner if the commissioner’s behavior crosses any of my boundaries (e.g. harassment, sexual advances, constant RP requests, general creepiness etc.) - any WIP’s of artwork will belong solely to me and may not be posted
✧ If you need to cancel a commission, you will receive a refund based on the work completed (e.g. if you have paid and no work has commenced past the sketch, you’ll receive a full refund. If you have paid and the work is 50% completed, you’ll receive a 50% refund and the art sent to you as is)
✧ If you need to cancel a YCH, it must be before work has commenced on your slot - if work has not commenced you will receive a full refund and the slot will be re-advertised. Depending on the reason for the cancellation, you may also be black-listed from future YCH’s
✧ Cancellation reasons must be reasonable (i.e. saying you’ve changed your mind is not acceptable - saying you can’t afford it suddenly is not acceptable: please make sure you can afford a commission/YCH before you pay/bid for one)

⋆✧~ Rules for Adopts ~✧⋆
✧ Once an adopt is purchased, you own full rights to the character - however my watermark must never be removed and I must be credited as the artist on the reference sheet purchased
✧ You only need to credit me as the artist for the character on the adopt’s reference sheet you purchased, not for any future art by other artists who use the reference sheet
✧ You can use your character in anyway you see fit, so long as any NSFW art is depicted with the character being 18 years or over
✧ You may not make any changes to the adopt’s reference sheet you purchased - you may contact me regarding changes at a small charge, or commission another artist for a brand new reference sheet

⋆✧~ What I will NOT draw ~✧⋆
✧ Any character under the age of 18 in NSFW situations of ANY kind. Any NSFW work, no matter how subtle, characters MUST be 18 years or older
✧ Watersports, scat, bad smells etc.
✧ Incest that can result in pregnancy (i.e. M/M and F/F is fine, or infertile males)
✧ Rape or any non-consensual acts
✧ Art depicting or glorifying any kind of racism, political stands/agendas, radical political ideologies, racist ideologies or groups
✧ Art depicting or glorifying hate on the LGBTQ/Trans community
✧ Art showing a NSFW fully wild animal/animals, with no ability to consent or have any human consciousness (zoophilia, beastiality etc.) - animals must past the harkness test
✧ No humans involved with anthro and/or animals (preferably no humans at all as I’m terrible at human faces)
