Hello guys! I know I've been pretty quiet lately, so I'm just dropping by to give you all some updates. Part of my quietness was due to dealing with my personal and mental health issues, which you already knew about – and I recently went for a checkup with an ophthalmologist and unfortunately the problem I had with my eyes has returned. It's not as bad as last time, but bad enough that I need to resume treatment to control the inflammation and redo all the medical exams. The optic nerve is inflamed again and I needed to return to treatment with corticosteroids and eye drops, just like last time.
For those who want to know a little more about this, basically I have bilateral uveitis, which is an inflammation that affects my entire eye and even the optic nerve, but this is only a symptom of some reaction from my body. Doctors say it's an autoimmune disease and there are still no answers as to what is causing it. The treatment with corticosteroids is only to keep the inflammation under control and to prevent it from further affecting my vision.

Fortunately, this time I have health insurance, which greatly simplifies the financial aspect, something that was very difficult the first time these health problems arose. There are still things that the insurance doesn't cover, but my partner and I are managing to resolve them little by little.
My artistic abilities are quite limited right now, I'm very sensitive to light and have blurry vision, but I still draw without pushing myself too hard.

In short, that's it. I've been busy undergoing medical exams and going to appointments, I'm being followed by both an ophthalmologist and a rheumatologist. I'll bring more information and update you all as answers come in, and I really hope they find out what this is soon so I can get proper treatment.
