What an appropriate time of the year for me to rise, yet again, from the dead!
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet for ya kiddos.

I just posted some BtV arts. I will - positively - have the last couple commissions posted in time for the holidays and yes, I now have more time to dedicate to art once again. My hours have been cut from full to part time and as much as it upsets me a bit, (cuz this lady has bills to pay and mouths to feed...though they are four legged and furry, still, 'dey be my babies) on the flip side that means more art, more comic shitaki, and best of all, more time for commissions!! Woot!!

Is my stress level high as of late? Yup.
Could I use an extra day in the week? Yuuuup!

I'm whittling away at my commissions list. I've decided to basically tackle them bit by bit all at once, rather then linger on just one image. So far it's working. Of course my supposed part time job has been requesting more hours of me, so that takes a chunk from my day. Not to mention life's friendly ordeals - bleh.

More promising shit to come! Just know that those of you patiently waiting for your images, I'm going the extra mile to deliver more then what you're expecting and asked for - so, believe you me, I'm making the wait worth it dammit!!

I know it's been a bit rocky, a lot of peaks and valleys sort to say. I want to say how much I appreciate those that are understanding, that have been patient, and more so those that have shown their support. It really does mean a good deal. I'm doing my best to make it in 'the real world' - doing the job thing, dealing with things in life that need tending too, trying to get the comic at a decent spot, and doing my very best to deliver fine artwork to those I owe them too ;) It's a pretty busy schedule, but hey, those that still decide to watch, comment, and fav - thank you, from the bottom of my crooked lil' heart :3

Heh, I have a sailor mouth, I really, really flippin' do. So, on occasion, when even I pause after listening to myself, I start saying a bunch of curse word alternatives. The one I just shared with ya all is a favorite of mine - especially if you say it right LOL

Ahem, but yeah, to business - the reason I'm swearing is because, well, sweet angry baby jesus kids, I honestly didn't expect anyone to actually try to get free art from me and low and behold I have not one or two but three of you peeps that took a snap shot and came forward to claim your prize.

Makes ya wonder how the system really works, right?

Oh well, I thought about it and tried to figure out a way to determine who would win the free art. That lasted for about...I dunno, a few minutes before I shrugged and said, to hell with it - ya'll can get some free pencil loving from me! :D

A tie breaker of sorts. So....savvy?

I have that song in my head. For those of you that know, off hand, the band and the song title - kudos to you my friend. I like you all that much more for it.

Ahem, but there's reason why that specific song has been playing in my head for a couple days now - I had a thought...I'm nearing 5,555 views. A slow process, but it's getting there, and well, feels like quite an achievement. I would love to do something for the individual that becomes my 5,555th viewer....
I dunno, like a free sketch? A ref sheet (which would be my first and something I've been kinda eager to do)? A cameo in the Beyond the Veil comic?

*Ahem* SO - I know it's been a while since my last upload - work has been raping me up the arse for months now. But fret not my lil' gibblets, I have officially 'retired' from one of two jobs! Heh, NOT including doing the art/comic thing on the side. Soooo from 3 to 2 occupations really now that I think about it ;)

Just wanted to reassure folk that I AM working on commission pieces, both here on FA and freelance work, ontop of gaining some milage with the Beyond the Veil webcomic, whoop, whoop!! I'm really excited about the pages to come - I really hope you kiddos will give it a read, if you haven't already, the story is fucking fucktacular - thanks to Ceb *wink*and I pray that my style helps bring it to life visually.

I live!!!! Please accept my apologies for the sudden disappearance - please know that it was/is not by choice.

To the point: I went from stupid lagging Internet to random dropped connection Internet to the final death blow of NO Internet. It's been an ongoing battle for the past couple of months and I wish more then anyone to finally be given the solution I so desire.

The cherry on top? My tablet died literally days after. So my optimistic outlook of "gee since the net is still acting up I can at least get art done..."
Fate said NAY!

I did however begin to draw traditionally but with no way of coloring the commish's digitally, so shit again came to a stand still.

Fret not - a light at the end of this tunnel may just have emerged....

Next journal will hold more detail but as of now I wanted to thank everyone for their patience and hope everyone had wonderful holidays. I WILL be returning the next few days - with art to post and commissions to give. What a fucking way to end the year man....

My internet blows. Actually, at&t fucking blows. I've been having problems connecting for the past couple months. It's getting ridiculous man...

They blame it on my computer, granted it is a few years old, but that doesn't explain why my ipod touch, not even a year old, doesn't connect either. Sorry kids, I'm just ranting. I just wanted to update the status of my commissions but it took me nearly 2 days to finally get connected long enough to do so.

Anywho, there will be a lot of uploads coming soon. Not only a couple more commissions, but I actually will post one of my freelance jobs that required me to draw animal anthros they wanted designed for their kids kick boxing program. So I've been busy with that on top of flash animation for another freelance job. Busy, busy, busy! ^_^

I need assistance.

I need to draw - I need to draw alot - and I need the inspiration and motivation to do so. If there's anyone out there, or 2 or 5 or more, who perhaps has any form of advice or suggestion? Anything - anything at all - I am willing to listen!! ^_^

TTFN homeslices!

So.... I have been swamped with a bunch of bull-hicky. Since I haven't had time to draw, but still need an artistic outlet, I decided to go ahead and post some photos of mine. I mean, at the very least. I've been traveling, working at a job I loathe so on my only time off I've been interviewing and job hunting for something more fulfilling (not to mention the need for better income due to financial strain), my girl and I have packed up once our lease was up nearly 2 weeks ago and are now staying in a tiny room with friends til our new place is ready the beginning of June, which means more moving for us, and.....you know what? Fuck it, I apologize for my ranting. Who the hell wants to read a journal filled with my whining right? LOL

Well - anyway. I want to draw. I do. Lately I have been writing though, like on my breaks or lunch, which is something I need to really get back into. I wanna get a couple web comics off the ground. Another goal in life that I need to finally push myself to do. As soon as the dust settles in this chaotic world I'm living in right now, I aim to get back into drawing and get some commissions going. Hopefully there are those that are even interested. I also don't mind doing art trades. It's sometimes quite excited to see another's interpretation of your design or request. There are so many people I find out watching me where I just wanna draw their character cuz the design is so inspiring, LOL. So - there may be a few of you that end up getting notes from me with a random doodle of your fursona/character. I do it as a gift for indirectly providing me with inspiration! :wink:

~~** First I want to apologize to those still in waiting for their commission. I just want to make it clear that I haven't neglected or scammed anyone that has paid for work done. Timing just got interrupted and thrown about in the blink of an eye for me. I was hurting, well still am, hurting for money (do to hours cut at my current occupation and abrupt expenses) so I opened commissions. Well turns out one of the many, many, many job applications I was pushing out was actually accepted and I am now working 2 jobs throughout the week. Leaving me a very small window to do anything. I just have to rearrange scheduling and figure out a new routine and all will be back on track. What's even better is I may be offered a full time position sooner then anticipated and that will give me even more spare time to do artwork. SO - in all thank you for your patience. Ya know that one saying someone usually says when things get a little difficult? It goes something like; Well, when life throws you lemons, you gotta make lemonade...

What if you can't? What if you have more lemons then you do sugar? Or ice? Or-or a wooden spoon with the little glass pitcher thingy that ya gotta use to mix it all together? What do you do then? How are you supposed to make lemonade without all the added good stuff it takes to do it? Turning lemons into lemonade is....harder then it should be. Right now? I have too many lemons, and sadly, not enough sugar. Or ice or...any of that other...stuff.

As it is I am living dime by dime, penny by penny and it's only gonna get worse which is frightening. But....maybe those that are reading this could lend me a hand? Perhaps just a tiny cup of sugar? What I am getting at through this analogy of mine is this:

Money is really tight on my end and I know I'm not the only one singing the same song, which is why I would like to purpose this "make your own offer" exchange ^_^ I'm talking from really rough sketches, to cleaner line works, flat color, cel shading, single to multi-characters, character sheets, or full on rendered art! Just note me with what you can spend and we'll come to a compromise of what I can give you for the price your offering. Truthfully it really depends on the complexity of the character and/or scenario.
