Sorry this is not DS or 3DS related but I am excited to see coins back in Mario Kart 8 I wonder if they will give a speed boost like they did in the original SNES Mario Kart?

I hope so as that always made it fun to try to get a lot of coins so you could have a chance at getting 1st and keeping it. ;)

It is sad but true Nintendo is shutting down the DS and Wii Wi-Fi services.
The Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL are not effected by this though.

So yeah my 3DS has spotty connection and mostly won't connect.

Any one have any idea's as to why my 3DS connection is non-existent now?

I can't do any updating or connect to wi-fi games on my 3DS eiher.

Any one know if there are some ports that I need to open on my router so that it will work?

I went to the Nintendo website as I did a connection test put in the error code and that did not really help any.

So any suggestions before I chuck the thing out the window?

I know this may sound like a dumb question but what format do I have to rip my music in order for it to work in the 3DS sound?

I tried AAC and that did not work. :(

Thought since DSFurs is getting some admins I thought (GronV2) would post up this journal so that admins of DSFurs could add there 3DS friend codes and just send others a link to this journal!

This is not a requirement for any of our admins for DSFurs just an idea (GronV2) had.

This is a list for our DS Furs upload and favorite policy.

Uploading Policy For Admins:

All admins for DSFurs must abide by a strict no adult uploading of photos.
GronV2 knows this is a G-Adult site but I would like to keep it G.
Although it can be PG-13 and or Mature but no Adult uploading to DSFurs.

Why do I want uploads clean?
DSFurs has a wide variety of ages in our group and do not want any one alarmed by an adult upload to this group.

And from FA's AUP we cannot post screen shots although it does not make since to me at all I don't want this group suspended or banned for posting screen shots.

Although we may want to talk to Dragoneer about AUP of DS or 3DS game capturing from a camera or something.

Favorite Policy:

All admins can fav anything that is G-PG13 and or Mature.
Like the uploads I do not want any Adult rated favorites on DSFurs as per the age of our watchers.

I think that is it if I or other Admins think of something else either me (GronV2) or another Admin will edit this journal.

To get Swapnote/nintendo letter box you will need to update your N3DS again and then download Swapnote from the Nintendo eShop.

Swapnote/letter box lets you draw and send notes to other 3DS users and also send 3D photos and draw on top of the photos.

What should it be?

I am thinking something like a White Wolf or something to go along with the DSFurs Logo/Icon.

So post what you would like to see the DSFurs mascot to be.
It just might come to real life at some future date!!

I just purchased Pushmo today.

If there is any one that has the game and has created some levels on it I would love to see them! ^.^

With Nintendo extending the Virtual Console onto the 3DS, this means we get to see beloved classics of NES titles coming back in 3D, such as Kirby's Adventure and Excitebike. But also, we can also play Game Boy Games on it as well. With Link's Awakening being the first (and only so far) Game Boy Colour title added to the Virtual Console, we have a question to ask the community:

Which Game Boy (Colour) game would you like to see added to the list of Virtual Console games, and why?

The update for Nintendo 3DS is out now!

Update to 3.0.0-5U and you will then be able to shoot videos in 3D and make Stop Motion as well as still photos too.

Discuss if you like the new update or if you don't like it.

The only thing I don't like so far is I think the bird mentioned that non of the video options have sound which if true is lame since the 3DS has a mic. >.<

But anyways please discuss the new update for the N3DS ;)
