Re thinking a charge for Commissions
Posted 11 years agoFollowing up from the previous journal, there have been some problems and listings that didn't seem to make a lot of sense. ^^; I apologise for that, but after thinking things over, I've decided to lay things out like this;
Sketch - Spot illustration (rough) £2.00
(neat) £5.00
(plus £2.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11888771/
- Scenic illustration (rough) £5.00
(neat) £10.00
(plus £2.50 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11888787/
Inked - Spot illustration () £10.00 - £15.00 (depending on complexity)
(plus £5.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13336612/
- Scenic illustration () £20.00 - £30.00 (depending on complexity)
(plus £5.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/12948081/
Cel coloured - Spot illustration () £30.00
(plus £5.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/13586870/
- Scenic illustration () £30.00 - £50.00 (depending on complexity)
(plus £5.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/12220247/
Raster coloured - Spot illustration () £50.00
(plus £10.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12715459/
- Scenic illustration () £50.00
(plus £10.00 per extra character) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13672358
Phew. ^^; Hope that hoped to clear things up. For animations, I have decided to put those off for now until I get more active from these illustrations first.
For guide lines and conditions I have to lay down some rules for things I will do and won't.
I will produce;
- Normal, Fat, Inflation, Transformation, Macro/micro art which is kept tame.
- Furries or Ponies.
I won't produce;
- Anything Mature or Adult. (no genitle or nipples etc)
- Excessive expansion (no blob work or horrific overinflation)
- Suggestive material (gas jokes, racial, religious etc)
- Other content material not mentioned above as listed above.
I hope that helped to clear things up for you all. I'm not starting them yet, but hopefully this will set more clear guide lines for you all. :)

Charges for Commission
Posted 11 years agoHello everyone. =p
I have put this off for long enough, but I do believe that in the interest of wanting me to be able to make more of a profile aorund the place I think the time will soon be upon me to actually charge commissions. I've been putting it off for such a long time mostly though because well... I don't know what a fair charging price would be per picture or animation. ^^;
I've been thinking though that for a while, maybe an asking price for the following items could be as followed.
Single Character Sketch (rough or smooth) i.e.; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11888771/ £2.00 - £5.00 (depending on complexity.)
Scenic Sketch (rough of smooth) i.e.; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11888787/ £5.00
Inked Character i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/13336612/ £10.00
Inked Scenic i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/12948081/ £20.00
Character Colour (Cel Shaded) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/13586870/ £30.00
Scenic Colour (Cel Shaded) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/12220247/ £30.00 - £50.00
Character Colour (Raster) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/12715459/ £30.00 - £50.00
Scenic Colour (Raster) i.e; http://www.furaffinity.net/full/13672358/ £30.00 - £50.00
That alone is just for illustrations. ^^; For animations I honestly don't know. And this is also not fully discussing the things I can and can't do the things I will/won't make and how long I expect to work on things, but if I was to begin charging commissions from looking at the examples of some of my work, would these seem like reasonable prices?

Am I the only one who is having this trouble?
Posted 11 years agoI've noticed that lately whenever I try to upload anything here the images seem to be the wrong way up. I can understand when the fault is mine for not editing the images after I scan them, but the problem is even when they are fully edited to be the right way up, the right size and shape and even shown in a preview for the submission file in the thumb nails before I plop anything here, when I go to actually upload it, the image I attempt to upload resets itself.
I don't understand how it happens, since I always save it too as the right way up. Yet it STILL comes up in it's final form as lobsided. Am I the only one having trouble or is there anyone else who seems to have this hiccup?

This song makes me feel so happy
Posted 11 years agoHi everyone. Not much of an update, but I've felt a little down lately. Nothing I really want to go into much detail with, but this song from one of my favourite bands of all time 'Moody Blues' and their song 'Floating' seems to have cheered me up quite nicely. ^^

Maybe its like my friend
wolfcubottsel said, its very upbeat. =P What do you think?

Posted 12 years agoWell folks, we say farewell to another old year and welcome a new one. 2013 for me was a mixed bag of a year with its ups and downs, its gains and losses along the way, but its a year with at least a few memories I can look back on with glee.
The moments of good; :)
- Graduating from University with my degree, and with the highest score that can be given.
- Being able to gain real work for the first time in the professional world.
- Getting to make some great new pals online and in RL and a few great games from this year to enjoy.
- A new PC for proper gaming and can be ungraded (properly) =p
- Learning newer methods for my art.
Though there are things I truly regret too from this year.
The moments of bad; :(
- Having my cat of 16 years put to sleep.
- Finding out my dad has Parkingsons disease.
- Getting stressed throughout the last year of the course.
- Still not being able to be as independant as I want to try and be.
I normally don't go to using doing the whole 'New Years Resolutions' thing, but I would like to try and get the following accomplishments done if I can for this year;
- Learn how to cook.
- Take payed commissions (set up a proper transaction for work).
- Take myself to professional methods and advertise myself more for work with my art and animations.
- Try out new styles (other than fat fur/pony work all the time: though I will still do them as commissions or requests)
- Try to do more offline (find alternative hobbies other than gaming)
- Try to get a healtier state of mind and body.
I know some of these are common promises that many make, but I will at least try to aim for them and for myself. I will begin the new year with some optimism and try to keep it up for the best. And I hope you all will too. ^^

Happy Humbug!
Posted 12 years agoOh wait... ah well. XD
Happy Holidays everyone, Merry Christmas and good times to all! Hope everyone has had a good one so far with the best of occasions with friends or family all around you. I got a reasonably nice bunch of goodies including some new PJ's, new trainers, a wicked set of headphones, a nice big 'Huggie' (a mix between an outfit and blanket) and a big and I do mean BIG box of McVittie's chocolate jaffa cakes. (Seriously, there's like 48 of them in this box alone! 8D) So I am a happy lion right now! ^_^
Hope that everyone else will have a good day today, sorry if I have nothing else much to say but, I've got some gaming to do. *Noms some jaffa cakes*
