Life has me busy....much busier than I'd like...but such is well...life...heh.
Also...13 years being here, and counting.
I know I've been away from here since pretty much my last journal. Thank you all for the watches and favs!!! <3

Posted 5 years agoI've not even noticed...due to work stress and the likes....it's been over 12 years since I found the fandom and found my way around. Dayumn. I'm still here, still doing my thing, just been a lil (read: A LOOOOOT) slow around here.
Update from my last journal.
I ended up getting hired at the place I still work at...but, last year, we got taken over by a bigger company...and whilst, back then, they promised to stay where we are, and all that bullshit....they recently announced they're gonna move the company to one of their own, much larger locations. And that's too far for me to travel to...so...2 weeks from now, I am, once again...without a job. Well...not really, my contract ends at the end of October...and I took the entire month off, because I have that much free time stored up...and Imma use that time to find a new job. But yeah...it seems like shit nver works out for me. This job was the best I've had, ever, and I would've loved to spend the next 40 working years here...if it wasn't for the asshole bosses deciding to pull everything 50 miles away. I know, 50 miles isn't a lot to most of you...but to me, living in a country where 50 miles gets you almost halfway to the other side, that's a LOT. And I dun have a car, or car license, so yeah.
Anyways....enough about that. I'm still here, still alive...keeping safe, keeping healthy. Hoping you all are too!

Sorry for having been away for so long....life has just been up and down a fuckton, the past years. Found me a new (temp) job that seemed very promising....but ended up being a very very sucky place to work. Back when I got the job as a temp...the foreman we had then was a great guy....He ended up moving to another job. Foreman we got after that was incredible...didn't do a lot of work around the factory itself...but he was onto it whenever there was something wrong. He was the one to get me hired properly....Sadly ended up with a hernia, and whilst resting up from the surgery, got laid off....the next foreman was, and still is....a total sack of shit...sabotaging a lot of the people working there....including me. Ended up getting me fired for bullshit reasoning....tried to fight it...was useless. Anyways, before I drone on and on...after I got fired....almost half of the company left cause of him.
I have a new (temp) job now, and I'm looking at getting a contract with them, and a promotion, too...gonna be second foreman, standing in when the actual foreman is away for whatever reason.
Feels good to be appreciated for who I am and what I do ^.^

Been a while since I sent out a journal for this type of milestone. I still remember finding the fandom back then. Researching something for school, on google, and finding furry art. From there, I found the VCL art archives...and then YiffStar, which is now SoFurry...and shortly after that, I made my way to FA. I've been through many of the blackouts and downtimes of each one of these sites...some lasting less than a day, others up to a month. Back then, sure...it was annoying, but other than that, nobody gave a shit XD

She's a Shih-Tzu, turned 2 last week.
Her snoring was caused by her nostrils being somewhat closed. We had her get surgery for that, so she can breathe more than properly. The snoring, however, has never gone away. She snores like a fricking full grown man, haha.

Posted 11 years agoI called the hospital and asked to cancel the appointments for blood tests and osteoporosis checks. I'm having doubts and second thoughts and all. They're going to arrange an appointment with my psychiatrist there, and call me back soon, about when I can see her about it all.
Don't really want to explain why I get the doubts or all that...so please don't ask. Need to work this out for myself first, too.

I desperately need help
Posted 11 years agoI'm in some serious financial shit right now. Constantly getting turned down for jobs (even at places where they've been looking for months), in quite a bit of debt to my bank, just so I can pay my health bills and medication and all...so yeah...I don't know what to do anymore. There's nowhere I can turn to earn money, nowhere to go to claim benefits anymore or anything....I just...yeah...
I can't go to my parents, cause they're having a hard time as is...what with taxes and all they have to pay, which are quite high for them.
Government won't support me anymore either. You get 1 month of unemployment pay for each year of work experience. I have about 4 years of experience, added up, which lasted from December last year, till april this year. So yah.
There's nothing I can do...
I really don't want to ask people for money or anything, I can't accept it...but...still...even a single euro would be a very, very welcome gift.

skunkworks passed away.I....well....I'm at a loss for words, really.
I'm sure everyone in the Fandom has seen some of his art at least once. Ask anyone, show anyone his art, and they'll recognise it. I know I will.
Often seen as one of the artists who got the fandom going, Jim Hardiman has been drawing for longer than a lot of us are old. Without him, I imagine the fandom would've been quite different.
