important about PayPal (PLZ READ)
Posted a year agoBE CAREFUL!!
please, if you take commissions from Ukrainians,
ALWAYS leave the comments column EMPTY!
don't write anything there, especially anything related to commerce.
Unfortunately, PayPal doesn’t really understand that we need to live and get money.
We do not have the opportunity to open a “business account” here
and only p2p payments are available (which prohibit commercial activities).
I just received a warning from a customer who ignored my request
and wrote “full body” in the notes.
PayPal says that the next time I make a similar payment, they will block my account.
Thanks (no).

horrific massive russian attack on Ukraine
Posted a year agoDue to the ruzzian attacks, Ukraine's power system is severely damaged and every day Ukrainians are forced to live with blackouts, at the moment we get an average of 2-4-6 hours of light per day.
Today we have air raids all day again, this morning and afternoon are very scary, the russians have attacked many cities and are massively shelling Kyiv, many areas have been hit by rocket attacks and missile fragments...
T.W. Violence and blood
Over the past few hours, the russians have managed to :
1. Launch a missile at the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital\ Охматди́т (охорона материнства та дитинства)(maternal and child health care) \(the largest children's hospital in Ukraine). FUnfortunately, the missile could not be intercepted, and it damaged a building next to the hospital. The shockwave from the explosion shattered all the windows and partially damaged the hospital itself. Both children and doctors were injured, and there are casualties.
2. Destroy an entire section of a residential building in a neighboring district.
3. Destroy three power substations in Kyiv.
Other buildings, cars, and a kindergarten in Kyiv and other cities were also affected. Today has brought a lot of damage and pain to many Ukrainians(
Currently, many volunteers are helping to clear the debris and rescue people and children trapped underneath!
In the area where I live (text author), there are scattered body parts of people who were walking down the street. The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, a russian aeroballistic missile, is very fast and destructive; people did not have time to hide or react.
at the time of publication, By region:
• Kyiv: 17 dead and ~50 injured.
• Krivy Rig: 11 deaths and ~50 injuries.
• Dnipro: 1 dead and 12 injured.
• Pokrovsk, Donetsk region: 3 dead.
ed. 33 people died, 140 injured

GIFTS and price increases
Posted a year agoHello! I recently came up with an interesting thing to reward my regular commissioners.
starting from August 1, you can receive from me one option that you prefer:
• color sketch (headshot/bust) once a month
• 15% discount on any type of commission once a month (cannot be combined with Patreon rewards)
to become my regular, it is enough to conclude deals with me for $500+ in total
($750+ after price increases*).
Every month the promotion will be reset. you should also come to me yourself if you are interested in this!
at the moment, my regular are:
• ShadowyMatt
• SkyIce
• Poop132
• gigawolf102
*as for price increases. unfortunately I have to do this, I think from October 1, 2024.
Due to the ongoing war in my country, started by Russia, food prices here have increased greatly.
and also utility prices doubled in price.
this will not be a significant increase in price for my commissions, on average by $10-15.
I hope for your understanding.

Maybe you know some site where you can upload a photo, description, link.
It would be great if there was also a “wish fulfillment” function, so that someone could anonymously give me what I want.
or so that I could do the same for someone

USA congress to vote on 🇺🇦 aid tomorrow (today?)
Posted a year agoFor FA members in the USA:
The US House of Representatives will be voting on aid for 🇺🇦Ukraine🇺🇦 (possibly tomorrow, Saturday)
it would be a good time to contact your member of congress with your opinion.
The following is (mostly) copied from a United Help Ukraine email:
UKRAINE SUPPLEMENTAL REQUEST
CALL/WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVE!
In a pivotal moment for Ukraine, House Speaker Mike Johnson has unveiled the long-awaited text for the Ukraine aid bill. United Help Ukraine, along with many organizations in the Ukrainian community, views this action as a significant step towards bolstering Ukraine's resilience in the face of adversity.
Key Highlights of the Bill
Substantial Financial Assistance: With a staggering $61 billion earmarked for Ukraine, including humanitarian aid and economic support, this bill reflects the unwavering commitment of the international community to stand with Ukraine in its time of need.
Strategic Defense Provision: Addressing Ukraine's longstanding request for long-range ATACMS, this bill acknowledges the urgent need to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities and safeguard its territorial integrity.
Bipartisan Unity: In a political landscape often marred by division, the bipartisan endorsement of this bill underscores the gravity of the situation in Ukraine and the collective determination to provide meaningful support.
Below please find a link to a summary of the Ukraine, Israel, and Indo-Pacific supplemental bills:
https://appropriations.house.gov/ne.....lemental-bills
You Can Make a Difference
We cannot afford to be mere bystanders in this pivotal moment. It is incumbent upon each of us to ask our elected representatives to throw their weight behind supplemental aid to Ukraine.
📢TAKE ACTION: Contact Your Member of Congress
Again, We urge you to contact your Representative IMMEDIATELY and ask him/her to support and pass the Ukraine supplemental security assistance bill. Your voice matters; together, we can ensure his vital legislation garners the overwhelming support it deserves.
How to Contact Your Representative
1. Click www.house.gov to search for your Representative by zip code (in the upper right-hand corner); and
2. Write a brief message about how you feel about the proposed bill into the contact form and press send.
For those who support the bill:
Sample Correspondence
Dear Representative (name):
I am aware of the House Appropriations Committee's initiative for critical supplemental funding for Ukraine. As your constituent, I urge you to support Ukraine.
The supplemental initiative is not only about Ukraine defending its own country, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, it is also an investment in the international law-based security dynamic.
Assisting Ukraine and curbing Russian aggression now will prevent prolonged American involvement in a future worldwide conflict. I look forward to your affirmative vote for the Ukraine supplemental bill.
Thank you!

Patreon in Ukraine
Posted a year agoHello, Ukrainians!
I need your advice on running Patreon.
I can’t withdraw the accumulated amount (there wasn’t much in it, but it would help me now)
because of PayPal’s policy in Ukraine now
(commercial activities are prohibited here, and they consider Patreon a business).
and also I cannot get a wallet in Pioneer, because it blocks the accounts of those registered in the russian-occupied territories
(my registration is in the Lugansk region). so the amount of money just hung on my account.
please, if you know any methods of getting money from Patreon now, share with me!
=========================

Odesa under missile attacks
Posted a year agoOdesa has been receiving heavy shelling from ballistic missiles, supersonic missiles and strike drones for the second day.
There is almost a complete blackout here, electricity is provided for 2-3 hours a day.
We spend a lot of time in the bomb shelter, listening to the explosions above.
so if I don’t answer someone quickly, know that it’s all because of the f_cking war with russia.

my boyfriend's father died in the war
Posted a year agoWe were informed about this this morning. he was not online for 20 days, there was no mobile connection. he said that any day now they should be transferred to a safer place. they didn't have time to leave.
This morning their unit was attacked with cluster munitions. he was a wonderful person, very smart in all areas, with a good sense of humor. he was a friend to me. I’m so hurt and offended, I want the world to know about him.

shouting about commissions
Posted a year agotwo years have passed since Russia invaded Ukraine
Posted a year agothanks to canis_aureus for the idea to create a journal on this topic
there will be nothing new here, but this is just a memory (and for my new followers, a little about my life.
On February 24, 2022, at 4 am, the russian offensive operation began throughout Ukraine.
since Pervomaisk, occupied since 2014, was very close to my city Popasna (11km), we immediately heard shots somewhere outside the city (between them).
Gradually, interruptions in communications and electricity began.
my mom still went to work until March 2 (even though russian troops had already approached the city)
On March 3, the military bombed all communication towers and electrical substations
(I remembered this day because it was my friend’s birthday, and I was worried that he would be offended if I didn’t congratulate him LOL).
since I lived with my husband and mother-in-law, I ordered my mom to take the necessary things and come to us (it’s good that I did this).
ru troops advanced from the side of my mom’s house, so that later she could no longer get there.
We still had gas (only a stove, because the heating is electric), and domestic plumbing (draw-well), as well as a stone stove and firewood.
There was still no connection and electricity, our smartphones were running out of power.
Then, on March 6, by some miracle, the electricians, risking their lives, repaired the power station near our house.
We were able to charge our devices, and two hours later the power plant was again destroyed.
We just sat in the dark for about a week, sleeping for 20 minutes intermittently, because shells were flying around, and it was very scary.
then a miracle happened again. On March 12, telephone communication appeared a little, and I managed to find on the Internet the number of the driver who evacuated people.
Yes, there used to be a lot of free evacuation buses, but they all came to the other side of the city, and getting there was scary
(in fact, I know a lot of people who died before reaching the bus. And several buses were shot by the ru troops).
We paid the driver ₴4k per person (₴16k in total, about $600 according to the exchange rate at that time) and went to Bakhmut (at that time it was still safe).
but when we approached Bakhmut, it became clear that all transport routes were blocked, so we decided to go further to Kramatorsk.
On March 13 we were already there.
Here we spent two weeks in the basement of the theater. there were still very loud gunshots in the distance, but at least it was safe here.
We read the news, wrote to relatives and friends that we were alive and got out of hell. We were there with the hope that soon it would all be over and we could return home.
but each news got worse, so we decided to move on.
there were only three trains from Kramatorsk: to Odesa, to Lviv and to Ivano-Frankivsk.
We chose Odesa because my mom’s friend lives here. she helped us find the hostel where we lived for the last two years.
When we arrived, a few days later we learned with horror that russian troops had fired at the Kramatorsk station. About a hundred people died.
terrible.
however, it was not safe here either (as throughout Ukraine during these two years). Here russian troops bombed the airport, hydroport, and oil base.
The shelling continues to this day, but now it seems more chaotic and unpredictable.
but then we were just glad to breathe calmly, without fear for our lives.
the news was still terrible.
PAYPAL FINALLY STARTED WORKING IN UKRAINE! Previously we had to “use” our friends in russia to receive payments in transit through them.
but from March 2022 we now have it too, thank you!
I was surprised and pleasantly shocked how many people wanted to help Ukrainians!
even now, I remember this with tears in my eyes.
I’m unlikely to remember all of you, because many people sent even $5-10.
but the greatest financial help I received was from SkyIce , F1A5C0 , Trapa , Cyber_sona , canis_aureus , lanceness , WellOfLife . Immense thanks to you all!
and also thanks to all of you famous PistachioHorror and canis_aureus for spreading the information! 💛
Now I'm almost back to my normal life. many people in Odesa helped us with clothes, food, and household appliances. I'm also glad I took my PC (my husband was initially against it).
The only difference is that I have to pay rent every month, so I can't be lazy sometimes haha. I have no education, after school I just developed my drawing, so I can’t get a high-paying job here.
so the hobby turned into a way of life.
Now I divorced my husband (because he was not a very good person for me), and together with my mom and my friend we rent a separate apartment, now not a hostel.
I don't think the war will end anytime soon. and I will definitely never return to my house. it was destroyed, like literally every house in Popasna.
but it’s not hard for me because my mom and I often changed our place of residence before I got married.
so we just need to stay alive and keep working haha
Thank you all! Best regards, Sanija! 🐯💛

need to pay off the loan, $50 urgent commission
Posted 2 years agoHello!
thanks for noticing!
I urgently need the amount of $50 to close the monthly payment on the loan (I got a little off track this time).
I can draw for this amount something to choose from:
1) one full height without shadows
2) icon
3) two full height sketches
Based on this price list, it will be slightly discounted.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51029801/
I'll draw it out of turn in a few days.

Posted 2 years agofor 7 days to now (since July 19), the transaction status in Paypal looks like "money received. not completed" and an image of an analog clock. maybe someone knows what this means? this is the first time I have come across this, and Google has not given clear answers. I updated the cards and documents, just in case, but it didn't give any result.
