in general - shit year, shit (I think, like many)
began with the fact that the spouse was almost fired from work (and he would have been fired, but they did not have time)
the war started
real, with destruction, with death - terrible
miraculously, we drove to a safer city and three days later we drove on (and literally the next day a rocket flew into the train station of that city, killing more than 50 people).
got to Odesa. here we were met by a very pleasant man - an acquaintance of my mother's friend. briefly told about the city, settled in his hostel.
end of March-beginning of April was spent on paperwork.
On May 9 (how symbolic) we learned that our city was completely occupied.
all spring and all summer ran around humanitarian headquarters, collecting food and clothes. once we went to look at the sea :) my husband had never seen before.
lived thanks to payments from the UN, the Ukrainian government and caring furries from FurAffinity. free groceries, used clothes and utensils made life very easy.
I’m still proud that I didn’t listen to my spouse and still took my PC with me. although it was hard to carry it, but now working on it also helps a lot.
in November, a former neighbor wrote to me, sent me a photo of her house. more precisely, heaps of garbage that was left of it. says it's like that all over the street. so I'm officially homeless, haha)
Since the beginning of December, I have set myself up for the Christmas mood!
despite the constant shelling and blackouts - let's have a holiday!
collected gift bags for neighbors, decorated the hostel.
Everyone is happy, me too!
the only sadness is that the husband feels unwell again.

I hope that in 2023 it will be at least a little easier .. but this hope is so small that I don’t even know ...

Hey, guys! perhaps you know, and I wrote about it earlier, we have quite serious problems with light all this time. our Street is not part of an important infrastructure, so turning off light to save frequent and long. every time the light comes in, it lasts a couple of hours, and often while I sleep. so my husband and I made a decision to buy a car battery and additional equipment to this. this is not enough for my PC, but at least I can charge the smartphone and we have a small led tape as light. and electricians report problems with power plants, so this situation will last long.

This is the forefront to the main: since the batteries are now very popular, the prices for it increased by about 200-250%, and this has been very much hit on our family budget.. You may have already heard that yesterday the Russian Federation launched massive strikes against Ukraine.
80% of this was prevented by air defense forces. but 20% still hit, and hit in a terrible way. Many power stations were damaged.

The region where I now live has bypassed this (praise to the Archons), but it is possible that this can happen here as well.

It's a bit scattered and I'm not the first time I encounter questions on this topic - so a small thread explanation about the work of the PayPal system in Ukraine now and in general. Why you can be suddenly banned without explanation

First. The type of person-to-person PayPal payments, the only one currently allowed in Ukraine, does not mean commercial payments, only transfers between relatives and friends. So if you have been paid a commission or something else in this category, the ban is a logical consequence - it is against the rules of PayPal

Yes, regular transfers are allowed, but they do not allow for commercial purposes.
I discussed with support, for a very long time - just about the legality of paying a freelancer's work through ptp-payments.
And the verdict - it lies outside the allowed field. You can also use ptp for payment, but you can be blocked at any time. It's a lottery - will the customer complain about you, or will the payment seem suspicious to the moderator.
They can also block the account six months after the payment, seeing an "illegal" transfer. After any period of time.

How do they know the destination of the payment? The person sending the money must choose a category (payment type). There is only one possible to Ukraine - ptp. Others will not pass. All transfers you can get now are family and friends category, you can't use it for earning

If it is a personal comm, then really, it is almost impossible to distinguish it from "commercialism". But there is a customer factor here. A person sees that payments are possible only in the "friends and relatives" category, while you want to get paid for work - you can write to support, and you will get a ban.

I just have to note - if you work with foreign customers, be careful. Some Westerners consider the issue of 'financial fraud', as it may appear, to be very principled, and will complain to you not because of anything, but only because of their views on it as a conditional 'illegality'.

With the "opening" of PayPal to Ukrainians with the start of the war, nothing really changed. We still can't use the system to make money. So, currently, only the methods that were used before are effective.

I just want to say that any number of signatures won't change anything. Not even because of PayPal's theoretical reluctance to work with Ukraine, but because of the banal impossibility of working in such conditions. The system is simply impossible to debug at the moment, unfortunately. We must wait for the end of the war.
