As the title says, I've been accepted into grad school for a Materials Science PhD. I'm still waiting for feedback from schools in my home state, but for now, U Michigan is my top pick.

In other news, my story is coming along well. I may start writing the thing within a year or two. But before that...I must wait for results of the Planck Satellite. Is there B-mode polarization or not? Does Alan Guth's inflation hold the key? Or perhaps an ekpyrotic model, as proposed by Neil Turok and Paul Steinhardt? Since I'm aiming for hard sci-fi (with a deceiving veneer of fantasy), I want to know this.

Finally, I think I've settled on a character design for the main protagonist of the story (who also happens to be my avatar online, go figure).

My appendices/plot outline is eighteen pages long with seven-and-a-half thousand words. Dayum!
Also, I found a way to explain how magic works in the world without it being an asspull...So yeah, story's progressing, and details of the characters are solidifying. It's coming along well.


...Hell, maybe I'll even make/commission a fursuit of my dragon character, Marcus!

Anyway, back at school (Junior year :O ), gotta work on me physics.

The ideas for my story are all coming together now. The world is being fleshed out and I'm beginning to work with scenarios for the plot. I still have more work to do.

As for cosplay, I'm thinking of buying a guilmon suit maybe. I'm also thinking of maybe making a Lugia fursuit when I get the funds/time. I'm pretty excited!

So FA doesn't work on older IE anymore...I find this ironic since FA is being coded more and more like IE...and that's about as bad of an insult as you can give to a website...second to SL.

Maybe, the combined IE...ness would have been too much for the world to handle..."Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light." Dr Egon Spengler nicely illustrates total matter-antimatter annihilation via protonic reversal caused by crossing the FA/IE streams. Don't play with power you don't understand kids, or you'll end up like Icarus...

I'm planning on selling my Ironclaw rpg books. They are in very good, if not near mint condition. I have the main book and pretty much all of the expansions. This is for the first edition, not the second. After this I'll probably be looking to sell my old Marylen Fancy Fox fursuit. Need textbook money (primary objective) but also more money to save up for flammie fursuit materials :3

I'm going to make a Flammie fursuit. Haven't seen too many of them, so why not?

Over a year ago I said I was going to write a story...then I backed off. Now I'm returning to it. I plan tgo make a story that takes place in Mick39's Old Age Canon Vilous, and plan to go into great detail about the world there.

I've laid out the bare structure of the story and it's going to be pretty long. Maybe book length. (I'll try to do the illustrations for it too). I'm rather excited to get started!

Also...ALMOST DONE WITH THIS SEMESTER WOOT!

I have two midterms on thursday, Differential Equations and Classical Mechanics...I feel good about them, but I also feel I must study. Then it's break!...then two weeks after that, exams start again, this time finals.

Let's see...how many weeks have I had in which I didn't have exams? let's see, out of the 16 weeks, including thanksgiving break...SEVEN. And four of those were from the beginning of the year, when exams aren't given, and one of the remaining three is thanks giving break. All in all, I have, or will have only two free weeks from exams in which I have more times for class work since my first exam.

So I've had five straight weeks of exams and another three after a single week break. After thanksgiving, it's one week of rest, then two straight weeks of exams, in which my last one is on the very last possible day. The stress can't be good for me..but hey, at least the spread allows me more time to study for each exam.

Well, I'm sure I'll do fine on thursday. But now I must eat, it's been seven hours since I've had anything solid.

P.S. I will hope to start uploading pictures...once I get my tablet/have more time to practice drawing.

I've found a way to create multiple clipping groups in SAI: do the normal process with base color/magic wand/clip, but do this in a layer set. This can be repeated multiple times without affecting the other layer sets. Now all I need is a tablet, a figure drawing book (for people and animals) and I'll be set. Maybe I could use my Body Worlds exhibit book as an anatomy guide!

My break week is ending. Time for exams again.

And why are rotating reference frames so hard to use? >:(

Why did I have to catch a cold so close to my birthday? Why has this happened two years in a row now? Is your immune system affected near the day of your birth? I don't know but it sucks.

I wrote this for fun. It's my first ever program, a simple infinite loop game. Guess the right number, and you're safe. Guess wrong, and you have to manually quit the program. If you win, you get a nice little graph with a slope of the correct guess.

Why, OH GOD WHY, did it have to be on my birthday!?

Many things happened in a course of two weeks. I don't play video games as often, I am far more studious, and I am taking even harder courses (hooray for classical mechanics!!!). Also, I have learned I am likely descended from viking warriors through an unbroken male line. All I need is a six-foot-long longsword to strike fear into the hearts of my enemies. Maybe that's why I gorify swords and medieval combat so frequently. It's my viking blood!

I finally joined Second Life. I have a Sergal Avatar named Marcus Stormchaser. I'm likely to be found in either Blue Galaxy or Luskwood.

I got a fursuit now. It's a lucario suit. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I will post pics of it after I do some repairs.

I will be in college in just one day. Wow.

I have a little over a month til I go to U of I. I will try to go to the CHUFF events there, if I can keep up my studies. I'm currently working on a story that came to me just yesterday. The idea popped in my head and now I'm sticking to it. It should before I'm eighty (I know I'm taking long...curse you procrastination, my archnemesis!).

Well...I forgot my FA password (I thought I lost the sheet it was written on) so I tried to reset it. However, since Hotmail sees FA emails as spam, I decided to email an admin for the reset. Around a day later, I ended up finding the code on another piece of paper...not the one that was thrown out. Ultimately, my password was reset when it didn't have to be and now I am quite embarrassed... Friggin Murphy...
