Posted 15 years agoThis place in all its quirky glory is not doing anything for me. I rarely even check my account and need to focus on other things. This will still be one of my art dump areas, and look forward to at least one more set of submissions when ever I get around to it.
As far as the people I've met here goes, well your all pretty nice. However you-all have been seeming far less real so it does not bother me to say it may turn out I don't come back. Most of my watchers wont care either way though.
Don't count this as a dead account. I may be back, or I may just make a new account and try and avoid the time suck-hole that is the social networking aspect of this site. *shrugs* I really don't know. Bye for now then.

Guess who severed a tendon?
Posted 15 years agoYep it was me.
I've been as active as a quadraplegic recently, but have been busy with college crap until recently, while working on an art project I slashed open the back of my thumb and cut an extensor tendon... It hurt like a bitch.
I got surgery last thursday and then it hurt a great deal more but it's starting to heal. Oh and I'm on some percocets... yep there not as fun as you'd think.
Anyway, thats all for now.

No. That stuff messes people up, and I mean that it messes people up in a horrible way... always.
[03] Abortion: for or against it?
Personally, I am against murder, and I believe that a baby is a human being, especially when it has a beating heart or is birthed half way and has its brain scrambled with a roto-rooter (a partial birth abortion). So assuming A (abortion) is M (murder), and knowing I am against murder (X) we get the deduction: A is M, If M then X, M therefore X, A therefore X.
But just as if taking a human life can save others and be for the greater good then I suppose killing someone can be justified.
[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Yes. How can a woman run the country while she is in kitchen?!?! Haha, just joking. I believe a woman can do an equally good or bad job as a man could being president.
[05] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
I think the fact that it is illegal is not curtailing the usage much, so if it were legal we could at least get tax dollars from it.
[06] Are you for or against premarital sex?
I think sex before marriage should be understood by the two participants. If they are in the relationship just for sex, it should not be "pre-marital" sex, because if marriage follows there will be two more unhappy people in the world.

As in a higher being/power/existence/force/entity/etc. Yes something along that line.
[08] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Well in this country breaking the law is frowned upon. If someone is doing anything illegally I believe they are at fault.

If she is judged a good, capable parent then yes. But if otherwise the child should be put in better care. Don't get me wrong, any bad parent should not be allowed to care for a baby, a 12 year old is no different.
[10] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
This is a moot point because it wont change the fact that kids start drinking before they are 21. And secondly most drunken kids are arrested not for consumption, but for conduct issues, so I do not believe that lowering the age will do anything... but sure go ahead anyway.
[11] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
We messed a lot of crap up there, we had better fix it before we leave.
[12] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
People so tortured by their own lives should just man up and kill themselves. If its a sort of life support issue then they should consult their doctor.

Parents these day have to hit their kids. If the get outa line, give them the old one two with the belt (buckle end out). If they give ya any lip, put them in a head lock until they learn.

Finishing 09 out with a bang! (best week ever!)
Posted 15 years agoSo I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, Christmas, Quanza, Hanuka... Hannukah... Hanukkah? Whatever, I just hope it was enjoyable ^_^.
Now that we are in the new year it's great to make a few goals. Personally I would like to become respectable at shuffling (the dance) and become more than respectable on the drums. Also I really really hope to get way better at drawing >.> Definitely get more watches XD.
But as for the leaving year of 09 it was a good one. It had the end of my senior year of high school, a fantastic senior week vacation at the beach, and the start of my college career (which has been very cliche ^^) But best of all three days ago things just fell into place and I am now the mate of the wonderful

Crazy ideas are good, crazy characters are good, interesting is good, strange is good, wonderful is wonderful, epic is good, etc.
Just throw down some ideas, I may pick one, or I might get caught up in some tangent and draw your character doing something completely different. I am just needing some more practice.

Posted 16 years agoWell Thanksgiving is coming up and that means the semester is almost over. That means that I will have a lot more free time for a whole month ^^
So, I decided to open up this free time to anyone who would want a cheap commission. Single characters would be about five dollars, ten for full color with background. Medium and style would be by preference.
But for the people who don't want to spend money I have an opportunity to get a request. I'm trying to get my name around a little so anyone who can get me a few watchers would receive a nice drawing(s) of their choice. I think five watchers would be enough for a very nice picture ^_^.
Trades are also now open! If you want to do something just send me a note.

Posted 16 years agoWell I now have a friend with a scanner so some posts may be coming before thanksgiving, hehe.
Anyway, why does this concern you? Did I work all night finishing those requests? No... I didn't... Buuuuut, I am finally getting around to starting my sorta manga (its going to be closer to a webcomic with a plot)
So, anyone who knows of a good web-host for a comic, (with good user interface) please let me know ^_^
Secondly, I will begin posting some long written bits on characters and backgrounds, if you feel the urge to write: please submit any stories you make that use the characters, if they are good enough I'll add them to the plot and give you a very nice request ^.^ but more on that later.
Finally if you want a commission really badly, and don't have money, if you find me 5 watchers I'll grant a free inked commission, 10 will get you a full color one with background X3 I am working on building a little popularity so getting me a few watchers is actually a big help XD Oh, and not just people who are watching me because you told them to >.> I'm hoping for people who will actually care what I draw. If you love me you'll be honest lol.

Anyway, why does this concern you? Did I work all night finishing those requests? No... I didn't... Buuuuut, I am finally getting around to starting my sorta manga (its going to be closer to a webcomic with a plot)
So, anyone who knows of a good web-host for a comic, (with good user interface) please let me know ^_^
Secondly, I will begin posting some long written bits on characters and backgrounds, if you feel the urge to write: please submit any stories you make that use the characters, if they are good enough I'll add them to the plot and give you a very nice request ^.^ but more on that later.
Finally if you want a commission really badly, and don't have money, if you find me 5 watchers I'll grant a free inked commission, 10 will get you a full color one with background X3 I am working on building a little popularity so getting me a few watchers is actually a big help XD Oh, and not just people who are watching me because you told them to >.> I'm hoping for people who will actually care what I draw. It's about that time, I've been talking about ending requests for a while and here it is. They are coming to an end. period.
It's not the end of getting free art out of me, only now they will be for special occasions and of much higher quality, but lower quantity.
However the reason I'm writing this journal is to tie up loose ends. If over the past year you have ever asked for a request and not received one, here's you last opportunity. For the next 24 hours, or until enough people check the journal I will open requests for one last public time.
As a side note if you are putting down a request I will require you opinion on a fair price for commissions. Just you opinion.

College is a big time investment and has proved to be a challenge to my sleeping habits
I also still do not have a scanner so uploads will not be around for a while :P

Still Alive, and at college

My internet is iffy until i get my ethernet cable later next week, and I dont have a scanner... so my activity on FA might be lessened for a bit.
I am still drawing a lot ^^ but i need to get a camera or scanner or something before I post heavily again. I can still post digital stuff though ^^
Oh, and I'm at JMU for anyone interested or in the Virginia area XD
so that's just about it, wish me luck when my classes start next monday ^^

Posted 16 years agoYea, apparently my dad wants to take me to Las Vegas as an end of summer/start of college trip... or something... Which I'm not complaining about XD
It's another last minute thing, and it looks like I'll be gone from Sunday till Thursday or Friday.
Anyway these 2 unexpected vacations are cutting into my drawing time, so my april 21st deadline is going to be moved. It was a 30 day art challenge, and I'm going to be unable to work on anything for 10 of those days XD
I'll still finish my 30 day art challenge, and I'll try to get it done by the 21st, but I'll make the dead line the 30th before I have to shoot the puppy >.>
It's another last minute thing, and it looks like I'll be gone from Sunday till Thursday or Friday.

I got a new sketch book, it has 30 heavy stock, acid free, 30% post consumer fiber, and it was produced exclusively with wind power >^^<
So it happens to fit perfectly into my scanner, and like why not try and fill up all 30 pages in 30 days? It was genius and I am up for a challenge. These will mainly be sketches, and anyone who wants a sketch just pop a post here and snag your stuff ^^
This will be the last time I do these sort of public free requests v.v and as sad as that may be don't worry my commissions will be cheap as hell XD
So now then ask away on something you would like to see.

In celebration I'm going to (eventually) finish and post my first piece of art done completely on my new tablet :D
Anyway that's all for now... Wait! My birthday is in 8 days so yay me ^^ I'll be at Otakon and Art Scape from the 17th to the 19th celebrating ^^ I'll try and take pictures and bring back a few neat oddities, hehe.

I got the Intous4 large size and have yet to try it out but I will soon.
Anyway I have only been drawing a little bit recently, but that's about to change... only counter productively.
I will be leaving to go to my family reunion tomorrow morning and will be getting back late on Sunday. Then I plan on fooling around with the tablet for a few days before having the confidence to start any sort of project on it >>
But on the bright side there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Once I finish the next few projects I have agreed to, I will reopen requests... For one last time.
After this round of requests I will be opening commissions, cheap mind you, but work for free will not be granted to passer-by's. Provided you give me a watch chat some, do something epic, or are just awesome you may still obtain a request and or a trade.
Its just as I head out for college I can't be using up my time on free work that's of no benefit to me >> yea I guess I'm selfish, only in college I need moneh D:

This is me being a common art whore XD pretty much I love watches ^^ but i have not gotten any in like 2 weeks or so... and I posted some decent stuff like the pic of Kalystograph ^^
But anyway I want to keep drawing as much as I can... But here is the catch: I also want to make people happy by drawing... you know what art is all about :P So I am going to attempt to base my productivity on watch flow ^w^ Muhahaha
Am I serious? No, I want more watches but I'm just felling a little artistically stuck and nothing helps me work then a few shiny new watches when I log in :3 So when you out on the inter-webz and are talking art tossing my name around may be richly rewarded ^.^

i hope to share in many more landmarks with my epic watchers, though not numerous or many, they have the eye to catch me in the sea of artists, and for that i thank you.
