I find it odd just how rare furry family art is in the fandom. In fact, it's really hard to find any art of child characters that isn't babyfur diaper art.

I'm aware that the furry fandom tends to be fetish focused, but I'm surprised by just how uncommon it is. Like, I'd think there would be a slightly higher ratio of furry family art, considering shows like Bluey and Gumball exist with anthro families and are often the first exposure to anthro characters.

Honestly, on that topic, it's odd how disconnected the online anthro communities tend to be from cartoons and general. Like, whenever an anthro movie comes out, it's always "they're making a movie to appeal to furries" as if anthro characters haven't existed in kids media for decades.

I think I'm going on tangents at this point, so I'm gonna stop now, but I will make journals discussing this sort of thing further in the future.

Okay, so, an issue came up, and I need to make some money. Is anyone interested in $15 commissions?

I wanna post a lot more here, because I tend to make a lot of art per day, but I don't want to crowd people's new submissions section to the point where it becomes annoying.

Recently I've been seeing a lot of "no minors in the furry fandom" stuff, and while I, myself am an adult, I've always seen my content as a somewhat E10+ deal.

It feels like the furry fandom hates the idea of anthro content in general being for kids. This is THE fandom for anthro content. Are kids not supposed to draw anthro content at all? Is Zootopia off limits for kids now?


Look at the #BadGuys tag on Twitter. It's a lot of NSFW just... out there. This is a kid's movie, and they're using the tag to promote their NSFW on a 13+ site. No separate tag. Hell, some of it isn't even marked as mature content.

I've never called myself a furry, and this kinda is one of the reasons why. I wish I could use a SFW term to market my art, but anytime someone tries to make a new term, they get harassed for it.
