Posted 13 years agoI'm afraid yesterday, in the morning, my grandfather passed away. He was gone at near 6:00 am and I was unfortunately unable to say my goodbyes to him. Sunday night at my parent's place for dinner is when my grandmother called and asked my father if he'd come to the house and be with her. They felt that it wasn't far from then, and he had remained unconcious for a while and had not eaten for a few days. We planned instead to bring dinner to my grandmother the next day and see our grandpa one more time, but the opportunity was lost.
I will be trying to continue my efforts to work here, but I may have to be there to help with some of the affairs. My grandmother asked if I would be the one of the grandchildren to say a few words at the funeral. I'll have to write something up and get my cousins to help input anything they may wish to convey. One of them is making a photo slide show and I offered to help organize and touch up the pictures. I am not certain when, but it is expected to be ready within 10 days time. I may be a little less attentive here at these times. I apologize for this and I will do my best to continue to be proficient on both fronts.
If there's any news that may hinder or delay me, I will do my best to inform you of the times.

Posted 13 years agoHey everyone, I know it's been a while and I haven't been as active here on FA as I normally am. But, a few things have been happening and I've tried to not let them hinder my working on art here. However, I'm unable to really be able to continue both as much as I wanted. A bit has happened since the beginning of this year.
Firstly, after I had begun to close in on my graduation, we got word that my mother's sister suddenly died in England due to her chemo treatment. They said she went to bed perfectly fine after they released her from the hospital, but she passed in her sleep. They believe she was too frail from the chemo before, which was reduced down, to a lower level when she was released and then left us. She was my mother's older sister by 2 years, and she took the worst of it. We've slowly gotten over it, but my mother will still refuse to talk about it and wished that no one offer sympathies since it only acted as a reminder because when she last visited England it was 2 weeks before my aunt died and my mum couldn't even get a chance to see her because she never got to make it to my grandparents anniversary due to a stomach ailment that kept her bed ridden the entire week she was there.
Sadly, the biggest news is that my grandfather here is ill. He's had colon cancer for the past year and a half and he just recently went under chemo these past few months. At first it wasn't so bad, but now he's gone from bad to worse. Currently he is very frail and cannot even leave the house. We had trouble with worrying over him since the 4th of July. Between then and now he has undergone two surgeries. One was planned and the other was an emergency where there was a clot in his colon. If it was left a few more hours after it was tended to he would have had it rupture and die in a few minutes. Thankfully, they were able to stop that. Unfortunately, they couldn't remove it because of how close in proximity it was to the remaining cancer cells. They had to completely bypass his track and now has a tube that comes out for him. As of now, the anticipated timing is that we may only have this last Christmas to spend with him before he passes.
The grandchildren are helping out because he needs a lot of attention and help at home. We are more flexible with our scheduals then the "adults", so more of us are visiting him to make sure he is kept well. This does place me away from the computer quite a bit, and my tablet.
I have been trying to complete my commissions queue from long since past, but it has been difficult to find the time needed to sit down and really hammer out a full piece. As it is, I look at them and see that they arn't even to the standard I once held them up to. I am not sure of the reason, but I feel my quality to produce has diminished with my distracting thoughts. As it is, I want to let the commissioners know for the full commissions list that I will refund their money for them. I want to complete them and have tried to sit down and finish, but the efforts I feel I put in are not enough to warrent what you've paid me for. I don't want you to have your commissions suffer in quality because of my inability.
The kicker of course is that this is how I make a living, and it has been difficult to try and be there for my family and to keep myself supported. So, I will have to continue working some how to stay functional. To do so, I will only be able to open myself up to sketch commissions. I will re-edit the price sheet in the near future. As it stands, I will try to be able to stream them, but I don't suspect I'll be able to frequently. I will have to be working from my laptop and will have to be extremely careful around the grandparents place to be able to try and complete them as much as I can.
To the current full detail commissioners, please let me know your current paypal addresses and the one's you sent. I think I have found them all, but I don't want to make any mistakes and miss someone out I overlooked. Please send me a note to let me know the payment you had sent to me and the name it was under so I can find it and then refund you to your current paypal, or the same if it hasn't changed. I want to apologize immensly to you for the time and patience you've offered me to work. I wish I was better able to make them for you.
To all my watchers, I want to apologize for my inactivity. I hope that with this I may be able to at least stay somewhat on track here to working in an effort to remain with you all and to keep myself honed in to drawing for all of you.
I did not wish to have this impact my ability to function here, but currently I have been unable to keep it up. I want to thank all those who have been there to support me and help me in this. It truly means a lot to me to have those small points where I'm able to feel more at ease, if only for a little bit at a time. Full Commissions Possible Open Slots
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, the semester is coming close to an end. Tomorrow I take my finals and then graduation on Saturday. Wooooohoooo.....-flops down- it's been stressfull. I'll tell you that.
I've been neglecting you guys here for far too long. I wanted to give you guys a heads up news date on things and to let you know about the list I have for full commissions.
Currently, the list has had all its members noted to inform them of their slot being open and ready to work on. Some haven't gotten back to me and others just can't do it at this time. SOOOOOOOOOO what does that mean for you?
Well, basically I wanted to get these done and have them set up as a goal for me just as much as me needing to make sure I meet my quota and get the funds to make AC possible and fun to go to. In short, I'll be putting up the slots to the next people that can afford what they'd like to get!
In the nutshell, I'll give the slot comissioners here till the end of today at 10:00pm my time. After the hour passes and I don't hear word from them on what they'd like and their paypal payment, then their slot goes up to the next person that wants the slot.
This means you can note me anytime to let me know you're interested, and if any of the current slot holders chose to wait for a better time or not come back to me, I'll put it up for someone else.
Now it doesn't mean I don't want to throw away people who can't afford to do art right now. I know there's a lot of stuff that's been happening that's been getting my life tangled up here and there. So if your name is on the slots and you get bumped off, I will hold onto your name and if you choose to come back at another time, I'll give you priority in the slots that open up again. Your's will be worked on first and things should be working for ya here as well as in your day to day life.
I'm hoping to make this the best fix for us all here, in hopes that we can get the art pushed out and still give people a chance to come back another time to get what they've wanted when time is more favorable. Otherwise, we shall see what will be. =)

Posted 13 years agoHi everyone! It has been a long time since I've been updating here, and it's all me letting time kinda slip by. Been popping around a little with family and friends for the spring break it kinda let the work sit on the side. Which...is not a good thing. ^_^;
SOOOOOOoooo I have to also get myself ready for AC in the not too distant future too. Lots of fun stuff to stress over lol. But I want to make sure I take care of you comissioners first.
Since I haven't been giving the full comissioners enough time to spend to get their's done, I will shift over to their list. It's been quite a few months for most of them so I think I need to grind them out asap to make sure I can clear the list up before summer rolls in.
That means the list will CLOSE now and those that are on it are the ones I'll be doing during the week. I'll be moving down the list as much as I can and trying to get the comissioners that are ready. I'll probably be skipping down names if people need a little while to get ready. But, after I've gone through the entire list and I return to the top it will be the last check to see if people will still be good to go. This will be me trying to do a major art grind for these. So if I can sweat it out, I'll be pushing to get them done in a few weeks (keep fingers crossed lol).
Sketchmissions I'll continue after the full comissions are done. And the only reason why I really want to do this is because they have been waiting for a loooooooong time and I need to give them some attention and loving. And a few others things in college need loving too. Work never goes away it seems hehe.
Other then that, things are going pretty ok. Grandad is slightly slipping on us and we're trying to spend more and more time with him. But it's not a bad situation now/yet. Just making the best of what time we've got. Classes are evil cause they are business, naturally. XD

SOOOOOOoooo I have to also get myself ready for AC in the not too distant future too. Lots of fun stuff to stress over lol. But I want to make sure I take care of you comissioners first.
Since I haven't been giving the full comissioners enough time to spend to get their's done, I will shift over to their list. It's been quite a few months for most of them so I think I need to grind them out asap to make sure I can clear the list up before summer rolls in.
That means the list will CLOSE now and those that are on it are the ones I'll be doing during the week. I'll be moving down the list as much as I can and trying to get the comissioners that are ready. I'll probably be skipping down names if people need a little while to get ready. But, after I've gone through the entire list and I return to the top it will be the last check to see if people will still be good to go. This will be me trying to do a major art grind for these. So if I can sweat it out, I'll be pushing to get them done in a few weeks (keep fingers crossed lol).
Sketchmissions I'll continue after the full comissions are done. And the only reason why I really want to do this is because they have been waiting for a loooooooong time and I need to give them some attention and loving. And a few others things in college need loving too. Work never goes away it seems hehe.
Other then that, things are going pretty ok. Grandad is slightly slipping on us and we're trying to spend more and more time with him. But it's not a bad situation now/yet. Just making the best of what time we've got. Classes are evil cause they are business, naturally. XD
I hope that all of you guys are having good springs. And any of those having easter egg hunts in the coming Sunday, best of luck to you on the hunt. =) And best wishes to you guys too. Take it easy and see you all in the art grind.

Posted 13 years agoI've just got back home after taking Scott aka fasttrack37d to the airport so he can fly back home. He was here for a few months and I got completely comfortable with his company and now he's gonna be in the air in less then an hour.
I used to be alone most of the time when I was working on the computer. Now, I really hate it. Lol
I'll get better soon I'm sure. But boy right now this is the sad moment before things can become ok. In anycase, he was a great guy to have here. Laughed a whole lot and had a great many good memories made. I really really really dislike our immigration stuff here in the U.S. I'll just have to sit tight and be patient.
Good news for you guys though, I'll be swining into streams more now. So next week during my spring break I should be more active here. I'll be seeing you all then. Atm, I have a hot bath calling my name and a pillow I've got to hug onto.
P.S. If you haven't, you should watch fasttrack37d because there's going to be a lot of happy surprises coming your guys' way. And hope you are all doing well and take it easy.

Posted 13 years agoHey guys doing a lot of juggling here for my parents request on a business statement for my future in career and my classes wanting research for movies that we can relate our case study to and trying to make sure I keep on top of other responsabilities I don't know if I'll get to streaming this week. I need to let the events cool a tiiiiiiny bit. But once the panic has died I can come back to you with happy merriment.

Tuesday Tuesday...what's the news today
Posted 14 years agoI just started college again and got my professor from last semester teaching this first class. Which is GOOD because he is AWESOME! He is a teacher that plays xbox and pc games and discusses them on the side. He even admited to skyrim playing and addiction. So that's a good start.
BUUUUT I also had to leave Scott for a while and since it was the first time he has been super lonely. And I missed him too. So we're gonna grab food and enjoy the company of two while we relax for the evening and then I will be shooting in hard tomorrow for sketches. Expect an early start for it. ^_^
But other then that, hope all is well with you lovely furry peeps. And take it easy. =3

Posted 14 years agoFinal countdown! Lol but yes we are slowly seeing the night end. All those attending Further Confusion will have their last bid chance for the whiting if a new character. Looking at current bid of $75 for two characters colored with background so far. We shall see how it goes.
