The piece of junk that I call my pc had a problem with its motherboard and processor since last week, so that explains why I haven't been able to post new art, nor update my webcomic. I have been recovering from my gallbladder surgery past Friday. I have a great pain tolerance, but I still need to rest, even if that means I have to stay away of my computer and my art supplies and my bicycle (no exercise for one month).

I'm not closing commissions or art trades since I have nothing in my to-do list. I can work on them, but at a very slow pace.

So yeah.

Fun fact: I told to the nurse who asked me how I felt after the surgery that I dreamed "I was in a wonderful place filled with fire and brimstone and there were all guys in red pyjamas sticking pitchforks in my butt". One of the many stuff as a The Simpsons fan that I wanted to do lolol

I wanted to join this year's Art Fight, but my Gallbladder decided other thing, so I'm going to be in a treatment to have the surgery to remove it.

I'm still open for commissions and art trades, but with Art Fight I might not have the chance to both attack/defense, so probably next year.

And the situation went to good to bad to worse. I had to involve the law against some serious defamation, and it made me have a big burnout, which is noticeable in my art (not updating as much as I could). If wasn't for my bff gifting me Hades for my birthday, my mind would have been dealing with the common impostor syndrome x2.

So yes, my commissions and art trades are open, once again. I wish the situation during the work were a bit different because I had so many plans and I never insulted any person (my coordinator was quite happy with me), but they went away. I might or not have a resolution, but let's hope it ends good.

On Feb I wrote that I wasn't going to raise the prices of my commissions, and I think I'll do the same for next year. I still want to make my art more accessible to new people or my usual customers. Of course the prices may vary according to the technique, like the TOS says, so if you still want a Sumi-e pic, you can do it without problems.

Usually I always do a discount in my commissions (except in icons) with the age that I am turning. But as you might know, since last year it has been hard for me and that means I'm not in mood to celebrate my birthday this year at all. I'm sorry if that is a problem or you wanted to greet me or something.

So I have been thinking this a lot, and to keep my Sumi-e the most accessible I can for people interested, I'm not going to raise the base prices (they do raise depending how detailed is the character, btw!). So if you have been worried I would raise my drawings, this is your chance to get them.

On '20 and '21 I did some gifts to my watchers to thank them for following me all these years by doing icons for free to their friends. But as you might know, something happened on June and December is hitting me really hard since next week is also my father's birthday, so I have been struggling with burnout a lot after the Sakuyamon drawing.

Grief is a son of a gun and we all know that, but I'm trying to draw little by little to keep my mind busy. It doesn't mean I'll open commissions (probably art trades if the other person is ok with a simple sumi-e).

For those that have been dealing with grief like I am right now, what did you do to cope with it? I know is not an universal feeling and many of you had different situations but it might help me, it might not (of course if is too hurtful, do not feel obliged).
