Posted 9 years agoHEY GUYS!!!!!! I am having a blast this holiday season. It's been filled with ups and downs. But i feel like i have finally came out on the winning side, this time. I finally have a job now, so that means i now don't have to panic about money * Woot*. I'm still not in a job of my field, but i have a couple interviews coming up. *crosses fingers*
I am only doing all of this to support my art. Since that has always been and will always be my true career choice.
Speaking of art: I am working on commissions. If anyone is worried about my commission queue. Its down below in the green text. I am trying to get used to working at my new job and juggling time for art. Which is why i am working hard to make more art! I have been making lots of improvements to my art style & technique. SO the hard work is paying off!!!

In other news:
I am OPEN for commissions and genuine art trades. Even though i now that i have a job, it is only to support my artist career (as was the medical job, but i digress) My commissions will be limited as this new job has a random schedule. So if i am open for commissions, JUMP ON IT.
ALSO, I might say no to art-trades after a time. Since I been stood up for art yet again! It makes it very discouraging to even want to stay open for trades.
I will also make some themes for the holidays soon. I would love some idea suggestions, of YCHs, ppl want to see me do. ( but dont get a fat head, i choose what i want to draw. )

Happy Holidays, Art, Art trades and Commissions (OPEN)
Posted 9 years agohey guys, I am trying to keep making these journals to keep yall updated on my life. I figured you lurkers need some new chisme about me xD
Okay So, first things first! A BIG Thank You to all those furs that sent me Happy Birthday comments. As well as, all those local furs who showed up to the dinner to sing/wish me a Happy Birthday! I was so overwhelmed by all the love yall sent me on that day, i almost cried. So thank you, i really appreciated it!
I am thinking i will draw up a few personal arts for myself, you know : One for halloween, one for my birthday and one for Thanksgiving. We will see, i just want them to be quick arts, just to show yall my appreciation for thinking of me. So i will continue to make more beautiful eye candy for you to enjoy.

I am working on a new ref for myself. Hopefully i encourage more personal art, since i feel like i don't do it enough.

Okay So, first things first! A BIG Thank You to all those furs that sent me Happy Birthday comments. As well as, all those local furs who showed up to the dinner to sing/wish me a Happy Birthday! I was so overwhelmed by all the love yall sent me on that day, i almost cried. So thank you, i really appreciated it!
I am thinking i will draw up a few personal arts for myself, you know : One for halloween, one for my birthday and one for Thanksgiving. We will see, i just want them to be quick arts, just to show yall my appreciation for thinking of me. So i will continue to make more beautiful eye candy for you to enjoy.

I am working on a new ref for myself. Hopefully i encourage more personal art, since i feel like i don't do it enough.
I also will be trying to catch up on any art, i owe ppl/ art ppl owe me. Hopefully i will have some new trades, if not i will have to fix my badge for
furtrade and just only due trades that way. I dont know why i am having such difficulty! :/In other news:
I am OPEN for commissions and genuine art trades. Even though i now that i have a job, it is only to support my artist career (as was the medical job, but i digress) My commissions will be limited as this new job has a random schedule. So if i am open for commissions, JUMP ON IT.
ALSO, I might say no to art-trades after a time. Since I been stood up for art yet again! It makes it very discouraging to even want to stay open for trades.
I will also make some themes for the holidays soon. I would love some idea suggestions, of YCHs, ppl want to see me do. ( but dont get a fat head, i choose what i want to draw. )

Posted 9 years agoyes yes it is just about that time. By the time some ppl read this, it will be my birthday. Also i cant make the journal on the day of,becuz i do have lots going on :3
So my birthday is 11/18
(HINT HINT< give me art presents> HINT HINT ) XD
So to start off i want to say a few presents ive gotten from life:
I am very greatful that i was able to find a job in time for my b-day. * cheers* I will be even able to party all weekend for my birthday before i start my new job! WOOOOT!!! I am a lil disappointed that its not in the medical field but, thats okay. Dawww
I was given a new little kitten, his name is Light and he is 3 weeks old. I took him only becuz he was a rescue cat, so of course i couldnt say no. x3
I was able to go to the Everglades Tour, which was a lot more fun than i expected. Hella cool!
I bought myself a new mini art easel for my desk. Which not only shot my activity through the roof, but my anatomy is improving!
And while i can mention a few other things that i am happy for. I mostly would like to invite local furs to a Miami Furs Potluck! To celebrate a few things like Pokemon Sun&Moon, besides my birthday,all the info for that meetup is here

I am OPEN for commissions and genuine art trades. Even though i now that i have a job, it is only to support my artist career (as was the medical job, but i digress) But commissions will be limited as this new job has a random schedual. So if i am open for commissions, JUMP ON IT. They are a great prices, for highly detailed art and will be on limited time offers.
ALSO, I might say no to art-trades after a time. Since I been stood up for art yet again! It makes it very discouraging to even want to stay open for trades. So this holiday will be the last time i offer art-trades for that reason.
I will also make some themes for the holidays soon. I would love some idea sugesstions, of YCHs, ppl want to see me do. ( but dont get a fat head, i choose what i want to draw. )

Posted 9 years ago i would like to make some winter themed commissions this year. Since i didn't really get to last year.
So keep eyes peeled for that. Not much has been going on since i separated myself from all the drama in my life. I consider this an improvement. The only down side is having all the time and feeling lazy XD I will be remedying this with more art! Yay

Silver Lining , but still not out of trouble yet: VENT
Posted 9 years agoSo if you have been keeping up with my life > http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7885081/ < then you know that my 2016 has been shit. Even worst this month, which is a shame. I really love October :( but still fucking stupid shit keeps happening to me.
Like i've been kick out of another furry group, this time on a Monster Hunter's Guild in telegram. I was really upset why it happened, because it was genuinely too harsh for what happened. And even though later on i was apologized to by some of the ppl who started the witch hunt on me; i declined to accept it. Obviously ,because the damage was done, they really humiliated me, never even let me talk, and then labeled me as things that i shouldn't be. All on my first time ever really talking in chat.
Considering that i almost never talk in the chat, i was labeled a rude elitist and "too pro" to have consideration for others. I treated that person like it was a money mission, and i was nasty in my approach of what i said. And that is just really shrinking a lot of what was actually said. That person said a lot more, of which i found ridiculous but w/e.
Then i was advised if I WANTED FORGIVENESS, i was to apologize to everyone. For saying (the game is monster hunter generations mind you) I said
" if your defense does not defend you sufficiently then you must eat for felyne insurance. "
Which is basically like saying if you're not wearing enough protection, then use this tool that will basically give you an extra life, so you can keep fighting the monster 1 more time.
In All honesty, i think they disproportionately went after me, because the person who i said that to, was too was prideful. SO much drama was made out of something that was not even really offensive. Of which she then apologized later , but only after i had got kicked out from the group. Made the butt of someone's morbid joke, aka made fun of/my situation. Then they said if i had humor i should just accept that it was a joke of my situation, and if it was "too soon" then they will say it again at a later time. And then someone openly admitted in the group, that the group basically removed the only 2 hunters who were active in the guild.

Which is was not; but i digress, so i made my own telegram group for Monster Hunters. And for some reason some of the ppl are avoiding me, well then i am thankful. Everyone is welcome, just not the hateful stupidity. Your level doesn't matter, just your willingness to help and be helped. I like to think hunters grow best TOGETHER :3 Help each other grow kinda deal.
(Why did i say all this? Well because it's my first real furry drama. It also adds shit to my other IRL drama that i am dealing with. Making the place i use to use as a nice escape from my shity situation, has been shit on. So it makes me feel good to vent so, what.)
But there is a silver lining. A few wonderful ppl have commissioned me, and that is helping keeping me a float with my bills. I made $310 from my bill goal of $800. So at least i helped my mom pay rent, water and electricity. So i thank you, all of you who were kind enough to offer me work when i needed it most! <3 :heart:<3 I am still not out of trouble yet, but with all the interviews i have been going to. I feel like i am close to a job. I hopefully wont have to struggle like this for much longer.
Also my birthday is coming up 11/18 (HINT HINT< give me art presents> HINT HINT ) XD
HOPEFULLY November will be less dramatic and instead be my come up! I am really praying for it. I need a job now that i shed more pounds in HATERS.....
In other news:
I am OPEN for commissions and genuine art trades. I will try to make some themes for the holidays soon. Since I have been unsuccessful since graduation, to find a job in my field. Dont get me wrong, i am still looking but a bitch needs to pay her bills. SO I will continue my search , but till then i gotta go back to my roots. So back to art whoring it is, bills gotta get paid :3
AGAIN please dont ask for free art, just dont. Also if u add me on FB, without saying hi, i wont accept shit.

The FUCKING Odd things people say....(UPDATE) it gets worse!
Posted 9 years agoRecently i have been having a lot of bad things happen to me.
I got banned from a FB furry group for being an "art thief"; which i am not but okay.
I got stood up twice, for art trades, from people who ASKED ME if i wanted to art trade. So i got stiffed on art again.....
I lost a potential job because of car trouble that lead to me rescheduling it too many times.
Then on one of the interview days, my beloved cat died horribly! That tragedy that affected me deeply, because he was my son. I got that cat after i had a miscarriage, so to me it felt like it happened all over again! This (like i said) happened on one of the days i was meant to go to interview for that same potential job (so i lost that potential job). AND it cost me $100 for me to euthanize my cat.... money that i was saving for interview clothes (it was worth it, my cat deserved to pass peacefully) BUT STILL!...
I almost forgot to mention that my mom had a car accident like 3 days ago. She wasnt seriously injured and neither was the car. But the officer on the scene gave my mom the ticket -___- which just adds another layer of shit, to my shit-cake .
**I have been having really rough issues at home with my family falling apart. With so much drama on that family shit, i might end up being homeless. I have to see how it pans out, i am in limbo with that fucking-shity crap.**
[UPDATE] SO MY FATHER HAS CHOSEN TO LEAVE, which is fine but. That means he is sticking my mom and I with the bills for the house. (Im sure at some point he will try and sell the trailer we live in, but till then at least he is gone and we are no longer in physical danger.) HOWEVER like i said , my father is sticking us with the bills. MEANING I need to find a way to make $800 by the end of the month. Or we will have our utilities cut off. ANY COMMISSIONS WILL BE AMAZING!
I then left 2 other furry groups on FaceBook for the insensitivity they have shown me, during a time I had my art stolen... again. They ended up basically defending the person who stole my art, or excused how that person took my art. Which really triggered me. Especially after they deleted my post, because they had a "no beware furry/artist post" policy. But it wasnt a beware, it was a HELP ME this person took my shit. Not a "beware of this person" post. But whatever....
I also then had people posting me their opinions on IG, that i didn't ask for. Mostly about my disclaimer tag that i have been using, (they ) were saying it was pointless. Especially since i agreed to IG terms of service, so i shouldn't really waste my time putting it on the art pics i post. But my art is nice -__-......
And now people come back to my pages (its happen like 3 times now on different pages) because THEY sold off a fursona to someone else. Then tell me about it, which in my opinion, i have nothing to do with that. I am not going to go back and edit an OLD post because a fursona was sold off. If they sold it, cool, glad your making money. But that has nothing to do with me, i didnt create your fursona (so i don't really have business after they got the art commission from me ).
Please do not tell me about it, it feels weird. I am not interested in being a middle man in that situation. I am an Artist. I make pretty art, and i sell it. What you do after, i have no control/am not part of.
SO...basically... right now i am not having such a great time. But i am making art :/

Posted 9 years agoYes i am open for commissions but i am not accepting anything below $10 commissions.
Why?
Because my time is precious and i cannot unmake something.
So once i start, i am getting paid for creation not hourly. If i was charging hourly for my art, my prices would be much higher. Due to the obvious face that i put a lot more time (lots of hours) into my art , than what you are paying for.
So that means i will NOT be dropping my prices, accepting sketch commissions and/or ppl who DO NOT do their part in art-trades. I have no room for ppl who would like to penny pinch and lie to get free art. IF that is your intention, then LEAVE!
My art is worth much more than what i charge, but since imma desperate artist, unfortunately i am basically artwhoring myself. Meaning: DONT ASK ME TO GO LOWER on prices! IF you want cheap art, go ask n artist who just started to make u something. I put my whole life into art, i went to school for it and i have many years invested into this.
ART IS NOT MY HOBBIE, IT MY CAREER!
Please dont insult artists by asking them to do cheaper art, its not right. WOULD YOU WORK 8hours for only $10?

Hurricane and my Room
Posted 9 years agoSo before Hurricane Mathew hit, i was n the middle of installing a new AC. Since my old one died, and left me without AC for 3 days. After that my room was a mess already, but then Hurricane Mathew came. Which left me worried and lazy to put my room together (especially if you think you wont have a room afterwards)
BUT it didnt hit me, which is great untill u count that my room still looks like a fucking mess.
SO WHILE Mathew was going on i got sick, which is where i am now. I am still sick, so i am working on putting my work space back together while battling this nasty cold at the same time. I will soon be uploading bunched of art that was meant to happen before my AC & Mathew happened. But that is life.
The bright side, is that my home and my babies are safe. The down side, myself and my room and I are a hot mess right now XD clothes and stuff piled everywhere!! OH LAWD
So as soon as i can put shit together, yall will be able to see all the things i have been posting on Instagram.
In other news:

Changing the Pace
Posted 9 years agoSo i finished everything i owed everyone but it left me feeling some type of way. I felt empty, i felt like so many other artists i watched, grew with their art. But i felt like i had not. So besides many things happening:
I graduated school, i finished my internship, i attended megaplex, i got my wig, i finished all owed art and my animals are doing much better (dispite one of my dogs dying)
i just felt like my lazyness left me in the artistic dust. And i really hate this, so i am determined to get back all that i missed/slacked off on while i was busy this summer.
I am going to finish my fursuit head.
I am going to lose the weight i gained.
BUT MOST OF ALL, i am SERIOUSLY going to do more art. Which i have been, but now i will start uploading it. And force myself to stay consistant with it.
i feel like i am slowly finding mystyle and myself. So my art subjects will engulf more than what i have showed u all so far. More of who i am and what i love. Will it all be successful? No of course not, but if i keep waiting to try.... then i will end up not doing anything . WHICH STOPS TODAY!
So keep your eyes peeled for new stuff. Mostly tradtional , but i will be doing more digital stuff soon :3

I graduated school, i finished my internship, i attended megaplex, i got my wig, i finished all owed art and my animals are doing much better (dispite one of my dogs dying)
i just felt like my lazyness left me in the artistic dust. And i really hate this, so i am determined to get back all that i missed/slacked off on while i was busy this summer.
I am going to finish my fursuit head.
I am going to lose the weight i gained.
BUT MOST OF ALL, i am SERIOUSLY going to do more art. Which i have been, but now i will start uploading it. And force myself to stay consistant with it.
i feel like i am slowly finding mystyle and myself. So my art subjects will engulf more than what i have showed u all so far. More of who i am and what i love. Will it all be successful? No of course not, but if i keep waiting to try.... then i will end up not doing anything . WHICH STOPS TODAY!
So keep your eyes peeled for new stuff. Mostly tradtional , but i will be doing more digital stuff soon :3

Posted 9 years agoSO many fucking things happened to me between now and June. So much fucking suffering but it's now bearing fruit. I've almost finish school, fixed all the issues with my car, used up all my savings, Dad is doing good, caught up on all my commissions but i gained weight! FUCK, i accomplished a lot; But i cant do it all (im not perfect, but i try hard)
So despite my body being sore most of the time, and me being tired most days. I would definitely say i am hanging in here! I dont give up easily. Just gotta keep trying as much as I can. Some days are better than others but it's worth it.
Like today i found out wtf happened with my wig for my fursuit head that (i have to end up building it .....because my CAR ATE up all my savings $$ )
i ordered a wig from Rockstar wigs and its a 4-6 week hand made order. Not a problem. But I ordered it in MAY!! So what happened was, it came in but didnt pass the quality control testing. So they re-ordered it but NO ONE TOLD ME ANYTHING *GRRRR* So like any other person, im like, YOOOO WHERE THE HELL IS MY WIG?! So only after i called , did i find that out (not a happy camper) BUT they are sending me a wig which will arrive in 2 weeks. Just in time for me to finish my fursuit head for Megaplex. So i havnt given up on making a new partial for the convention! We will see if it works out or not.
Now i am focused on catching up with all the owed art from the past Month that got put on hold. Which means i have a lot to post and a lot to look at. Actually i have 10k submissions to view *dies* i need a secretary!!!! Dont worry i will make it work like i always do, it's just gunna take time.
(btw if anyone ever needs to see my work queue, to see where i am with their art. That queue list is down below And it is updated daily.)
Speaking of, as some of ya'll know because last month was so hard. I opened up emergency commissions so I can pay my bills at the end of the month.
I re-OPENED COMMISSIONS!! So if anyone would love something amazingly beautiful for dirt cheap, high quality chibis, I AM the artist for YOU! This sale will last on my FA and Weasyl accounts till July, to help raise back all the money that went into the car! Also so i can eat while i am at Megaplex ( or as much as i can possibly make happen; and thank you to everyone that is helping me accomplish my goal of making a great partial!)
In other news:
Just hustling to catch up on the delayed art and furry stuff. Working on my partial for Megaplex, owed Trades and some NEW art in the mix!!!

Posted 9 years agoSo now that my dad is back home and doing well. Thank you to everyone who was sending good vibes and prayers my way <3 it helped!
AND FINALLY my life stopped blowing up with crazy stupid shit (school, car issues, etc) I can now resume life as i normally do. Finally balanced out things and i will be getting back to all owed art. Grinding hard to catch up on all the arts i've been forced to let pile up because IRL beat my ass..........beat my ass raw T_T i don't think there is a single part of my body that isn't sore!
But i'm a bad bitch, yall know Life cant keep me down forever. I'm too mean and cute to kill that easy!!!!!!!
SO to everyone i owe stuff to, forgive my absence and delay in the work! But business is now back as usual and i will be hustling to get back on track. Fursuit, Chibis ArtSale and Local Events
Posted 9 years agoSo i am slowly assembling my fursuit pieces together. I bought all the little things that together will build my new partial. I ordered, plushy paws and feet from FurryFursuitMaker (waiting for my order to be filled), ordered an enchanting wig from Rockstar wigs, got gloving diffuser claws from dirtycatz + gloving lights for pawesome light action from emazing lights. Now all that's left is to built the head. XE i hope i dont fuck up, a lot is riding on this. I wanted soo bad to commission my head, but like i said my car, took that $$. So this suit is more expensive & more difficult to pull together than my last partial. But this one is better quality all around, so worth it. Just wish i wasnt struggling so much. Which is why,Now i have to work really hard to make back all the funds i lost to my car. I know i can do it, its just kinda painful to push out such volume of work. But i'm a tough cookie, i will deal with it.

It been a tough on me, with all the things that happened but i managed to work it all out. Let's hope i can keep that up!

Speaking of, as some of ya'll know because last month was so hard. I opened up emergency commissions so I can pay my bills at the end of the month.

The local event was an AMAZING success!! So much work and yet all worth it! Helped me even get faster on doing art, so i think it even helped boost my art skills!! So happy, i couldn't have asked for a better turn out. BBQ,Sun, sand and furiends!! Very excited to continue my admin work and setup more events. It been a tough on me, with all the things that happened but i managed to work it all out. Let's hope i can keep that up!

FOUND MY CAT! VICTORY + other news
Posted 9 years ago After 16hrs of being missing with a 8hr man hunt; i finally found my furbaby !! dinoknight helped me find my little autistic boy. I am soo grateful i was able to find him and bring him home safely! We found my lil fat boy! Dirty, scared and stinky BUT UNHARMED! Which is all that matters. Normally I wudnt mind my cats being outside, but my special boy has medical issues. Before i rescued him he was abused badly as a kitten. All the trauma from the abuse left hi'm with lots of medical issues. And before all the physical therapy i gave him, his neck was crooked!!
Tho he is mostly healthy, physically, he has other medical issues. Beginning with the fact that He is deaf. He also has a neurology issue due to the abuse he receive as a kitty, which left him much too innocence and does not "cat" well at all. (one example is when he gets excited for any reason he violently spins in a circle and then has issues recognizing faces/common things) Along with bad depth perception, he has lots of other medical needs/issues.
So finding him unharmed and quickly was truly blessings on blessings! All i can say is that i prayed to anyone that was listening to help bring my special boy home, and someone heard me!
With that i implore you guys to Stay positive, cuties, that's how you persevere through some shit.
Off on another topic,
Haven't got any updates on my fursuit orders so, i really hope i dont have to take another $$ hit. Other wise i might not have $$ for it T_T Since me and dinoknight are having $$ issues trying to get his car fixed, which has been stuck in the shop for like 3 weeks now. I should be getting it back this week, but my gods. The struggle it has been with 1 car and 2 conflicting schedules ITS ROUGH ( the struggle is real, but i digress).

my cat is lost, and I am heartbroken
Posted 9 years agoMost days I feel strong and confident, but today is a very somber day. My beautiful, Lil fat boy Whiskers was lost/wandered away. I'm utterly heartbroken and crying a fuck ton. I feel like its my fault, I wasn't watching him and he ran off in the middle of the night. It would be okay, if he was a normal cat. But my baby boy is deaf, doesn't know anything about the outside, thinks everything is friendly. He probably wondered off trying to play with something And I just feel so fucking aweful. I been crying for hours, he is my special fur baby. And is like closest thing I have to a specialneeds child. I haven't given up hope, and I'm continuing to look but if I don't post for a while, its becuz I'm in mourning.

Posted 9 years agoSo i finally commissioned my 1st fursuit head. It was a tough choice to make. All the heads i wanted, cost the same as a whole suit! :( But then i found 
Buppa_spirit_wolf and i knew this would be perfect! i'm so happy i cant EVEN right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And i went with a plushy look! So my partial suit will be more on the kawaii side :3 Now all i have to do is make my little tail and i will be ready!!!!!!! *dances and squeals wit excitement* THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER! I CANT EVEN EVEN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soon i will be reserving my room and getting my tickets for Megaplex. THIS IS GUNNA BE THE BEST EVER, i dont think it's possible to even right now. Lol
In other news, i've been sick with the flu for a week now and been busy wit school. I'm trying to make a bigger efforts in posting more. Although MOST of my posts are on my twitter & instagram

So we ppl down here can enjoy some hangout times with each other. i see so MANY MANY west palm meets that i feel like we down here the miamifurs need to get our shit together. We have enough ppl to enjoy something. It just needs to be planned out. What do we do? I want to do something MORE about this, but i feel like if i take charge i'm being dick-ish. BUT HOW ELSE do we get motivated?

Posted 9 years agoBut i really didnt see anything out there, that I LIKE & is under $900. And i also just realized that i can just go for attempt number 3 at fursuit making. I can also fix up the one that was mostly unfinished do to lack of $$. I dont know where to go right now. Should i make another one? My 1st couple attempts where GOOD, i just needed more $$ (which i now have) OR should i buy one?
Does anyone know any good fursuit makers that do BEARS!?

strawberry-wolf-girl Sketching This week's episode of being SICK AF...
Posted 10 years agoSo its just about 2 weeks of being brutally sick. I have gone through phases of healthy then really sick. Atm i am in one of those "healthy" phases, even though i am coughing really badly. I dont have health insurance, so if this goes on anymore i will have to go to the hospital. But i dont see that happening,even though last night i had a migraine ,SO BAD, that made me feel like my brain was on FIRE! I was writhing in pain for 3hours before the medicine was able to cut my pain enough for me to sleep it off.
My car also got "sick", teusday night/wensday, i found out the alternator was damaged because i had a headgasket leak (that leaked on it enough to kill the alternator) and my air intake hose had a crack in it. So the last two days i was running around coughing up a lung trying to get that done. Which i did, my car is now fixed and back home. But it set me back another $588...... -_-;;;
AND Thursday was my final for my classes. Mind you i didnt get to study at all. So this week has really blown up in my face. Cross your fingers for me guys, i need good vibes right now especially for my Final. This week has been SOOoo very challenging. I will finally be able to do art this weekend. Since i am winning the war of being sick! YAY! Finally dammit, jesus
NOW IF SHIT DOESN'T MAGICALLY BLOW UP, i'm more then confident i can actually work in peace!!!!!!

Posted 10 years agoSo for those furs that haven't heard, i have been sick. Very sick for the past week with the flu. It's been a not-fun ride, through the vomiting, fever ridden sleepless nights and constant coughing.
This past week has not been a joyride. But thankfully it is coming to a end! I am getting better & with that will be getting back to regular business. Everyone that i owe art to, will be receiving it in the order in which it was paid for. Hopefully this transition from sick to back-in-business wont be as rough as being sick was.
Everything will be smoothed out :3
