An absence, addressed.

It's been...five years since my last journal, and two years since my last upload. Things have been...Unhealthy to say the least.
At the beginning of 2021, I fell victim to an intense, horrible pain that eventually forced me out of my job. Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me and opted to tell me that I had this issue or that issue, and gave me medications that followed said diagnoses to no avail. Treatment after treatment that left me without any actual aid, and nothing that eased my suffering for two years.
In the meantime, I had started up streaming, at www.twitch.tv/eebit, kept up my yearly memorial streams, and even got just popular enough to get sponsors from "those" mobile games. The US Government has fought me every step of the way to deny me disability.
As of late, there is a silver lining. After a four week intensive, daily program, I went through a pain management clinic, and with the help of psychologists, physical therapists and doctors, I have had some help with my chronic pain. However chronic pain requires chronic care. The great news is that I will be, at the very least, be able to resume streaming again. I hope to also return to some form of writing, one way or another; the doctors assured me that my constant, chronic pain caused what is known as 'homuncular smudging" which causes the brain to, basically, forget many important things, make it impossible to learn new details, even forget where the chronic pain originates at times.
If you wish to contact me, some time, since I rarely seem to nudge around FurAffinity, you can now find me around places like Discord, if you want to send me a note ( I am often invisible there though, for my sanity), though I am also on VRChat due to the exploration and social combination.
I know it's a lot to ask in this day and age, but due to my disability, and the government screwing me over, it's unlikely I can find a job that fits me soon, outside of my streaming and waving around of silly little mobile games. I know I've been incredibly silent the past year, with only one journal this year and nothing even lewd. I am still alive though. Still kicking, to some degree. Things have been tumultuous but that's just how life is. That's also not why I'm here, of course.
September 11th is rolling around very soon and of course, I'll be hosting my annual Doom stream. This year I'm starting off with Final Doom, then working my way from there to mods, most likely. I have a discord server up with more info if you want, but otherwise, just like every year, everyone's invited.

Birthday time!
Posted 7 years agoHello, I know it's late, I probably should have posted this in the morning but that's no big deal honestly.
I'm 27 as of today, and other than a small, constant cough, I'm actually feeling pretty great! The store is still open, I'm thankful for a whole bunch of people I've met over the last year. All in all, it's been a successful 2017 I think.
2018 is coming around and I'm considering, as usual, trying to write more, even though a bit of stress and overhwling anxiety lately have stifled my creative juices. Now, on that note, I know I seem to get discouraged easily, I want to at least stream games more often, I think. I like showing to my friends, and I like gaming. It's one of the big things.

The new job/business has been incredibly exhausting, and if I've had more than four or five hours of sleep a night, it's a miracle. Absolutely no rest at night, can't possibly imagine why.
The good news is, I have plenty of free time at work, and I think I'm finally composing myself again, so I should be writing up a new story or two in the coming weeks. I have at least one more Mesmers Have More Fun story planned, with a potential third one - if I can remember what I wanted there!

Another annual stream

On September 11th, I will be once again streaming Doom and Doom-related games (though it's likely the classic dooms and Doom 2016 that will get the treatment) in honor of my father who passed away 9/11/2000
For those not up to speed, who are watching me since last year's stream; I only had my father until I was 9 years old. He was very sick and, in the last few years of his life, he had a severe spinal injury that meant we could not do much more than play video games together, with Doom being the major one we could play together.
For anyone interested in watching, the stream will go live on Monday, whenever I wake up and end when I need to end, and will be hosted at www.mixer.com/eebit

Writing is a little sketchy at the moment as I seem to have hit writer's block but that MAY have been dislodged last night, so fingers crossed for that.
The new business is a little bumpy but everything's going well in that regard so I'm pleased as punch about that. I hope ya'll are having a good start to the new year while you can, and I hope to hear from as many of you as possible throughout the year!

Posted 9 years agoI know it's been a while since my last story but there's a two-parter coming up fairly soon. First part's got some basic background and all that fun stuff; nothing lewd there, but act 2 is gonna include a good amount of TF, but I'm waiting on approval before the first is released. After that, there's gonna be (hopefully!) a Halloween gift for a friend, mostly gore, might have some non-con, and a personal project with some food play.
Unrelated to writing! I am going to be opening a business with Ma, which is exciting. Gonna be doing mostly packaging and shipping still, but we're going to do things on our own terms, sell some extra conveniences, that sorta thing. Pay's going to increase, stress is gonna decrease, and I might have more time to write, who knows.
Just letting yall know I love yall and I got some things in the works. And please, don't be afraid to message me, fellas!

For anyone not up to speed on this, I stream Doom and other ID games on September 11th, or the weekend of, if I can’t directly on the day, to remember my father who passed away September 11th 2000. The only way we were able to bond - since he had a bad back among a myriad of other health issues - were with video games, mainly the original Doom games.
Major changes this year; I’m going to save up and probably get the new Doom and stream it, beginning to whenever I stop (hopefully the end but we’ll see)

Weirdly, however, I've been thinking about getting a partial fursuit of Crod And I don't really know where to start looking or anything like that. If any watchers have any ideas and any price points to expect, that'd be some nice info to share.
Last update before I'm back on my shift: my work situation is going to probably violently change after Christmas. Fingers crossed it's a good chance! Might be a boss, after all.

Debrief?
Posted 9 years agoSo. I guess I want to say more about my trip.
Long story short, the obvious. I had a blast. An amazing time. I had a lot of fun and I want to go back again next year given the chance, with only a few minor adjustments.
Some big deals happened, and I'm glad they did. The biggest and honestly best thing? I got lost in a city I'm unfamiliar with, during a thunderstorm.
Now, people who know me can imagine this is a double whammy to my psyche. Not only was this a prime opportunity for my agoraphobia to incapacitate me, my bizarre weather anxiety should have left me in a terrible place. Such was not the case.
I managed to return to my hotel safe and sound, and still managed to have a good time for the rest of FWA! Managed to see everyone I wanted to, despite maybe MAYBE one person. But that's no big deal.
I'll be writing again soon, in fact I have another charr story in my mind, one I'm pretty excited to have knocking around in my head.
(Edit: nearly forgot to mention it will have all new characters, perhaps ones with names so no one is confused about who they are this time around! might be gay. Might not. Hell, might have herms for shits and giggles. Or maybe a cuntboy? The possibilities are endless.)
I'm sorry to everyone who watches me, but I promise from here on, I'm going to be more responsive to you, even if it's just saying thanks. I super appreciate everyone who likes my stuff; especially when there's so many great artists out there.

Posted 9 years agoJust learned that the family is suddenly (an extra) 96k in debt thanks to a clerical error and the government. I know I'm not a great person, but this is rather devastating.

Gear shift
Posted 10 years agoQuick update, in general. I'm changing jobs from The UPS Store to internal sales at Omaha Steaks. Big change. Real nervou. Don't know what to expect. Writing should resume, maybe even increase. Fingers crossed for everyone.
