Survey Says!
Posted 14 years agoLAYER ONE : THE OUTSIDE
- Name: Fima
- Eye Color: Green? Oh god, i don't even know
- Hair Style/Color: This ugly brown, but I dye it black when I can be arsed, as for style, or my lack thereof, I have a long mane type thing or a ponytail, partly because I think it looks nice, and partly because I look like a lesbian whenever my hair is short >.<
- Height: 6'2"
- Clothing style: Usually just jeans and a t-shirt
- Best physical feature(s): Damn, physical? Mmmm.... my.. calves are ok?
LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE
- Your fears: I don't really have any fears, I'm perturbed by somethings, but not afraid, I guess my only fear would be harm to my loved ones and family
- Your guilty pleasure: Coke ~_~ Need to give it up, too much sugary goodness T___T
- Your biggest pet peeve: Laziness, in my view, better an addled egg than a lazy bird
- Your ambitions for the future: Join the army, build a house, maybe find a mate.
LAYER THREE: THOUGHTS
- Your first thoughts waking up: Fffffffffffffffffuck it's early
- What you think about most: Work I guess
- What you think about before bed: Ffffffffffffffffffffuck it's late
- You think your best quality is: Probably making people laugh, and trying to make new people feel welcome
LAYER FOUR: WHAT'S BETTER?
- Single or group dates: D-dah-tess?
- To be loved or respected: Respect... In my experience, the people who tell you they love you are out to use you
- Beauty or brains: Brains. Whilst I do find certain traits attractive, truly beautiful people seldom develop their mental faculties to any meaningful extent
- Dogs or cats: DOGS! Dey's so squishy and playful and runny and pretty I just wanna wuuzhawuzzawoo *devolves into cutesy baby/puppy speech*
LAYER FIVE: DO YOU?
- Lie: Everyone does, the only people who don't are lying or trying to sell you something, though I do find it more difficult to lie when the lie itself is for personal gain, or non-altruistic ends, I've had a few sales jobs because of my speaking ability, but never did well at closing because I felt like I was pushing people to something they didn't really need or lying
- Believe in yourself: ... Probably not as much as I should
- Believe in love: .... Get back to me in a few years?
- Want someone: To share my interests and desires, affections and concerns, joy and tragedies, wealth and sparcity, all human experience as we take our own road less traveled by? Absolutely. Will it happen? Doubtful ^-^;;
LAYER SIX: EVER?
- Been on stage: Yeah, I did drama in highschool, I think it did quite a bit for my social education and understanding what people are thinking
- Done drugs: Nope, never saw the point or persued any means of getting them.
- Changed who you were to fit in: High school once or twice, but I didn't like it and haven't since
LAYER SEVEN: FAVORITES

- Favorite animal: Dog noms ^____^
- Favorite movie: Top of my head, Fight Club
- Favorite game[s]: Zelda Series, Final Fantasy series, Mass Effect and Halo series, and a bunch more i'm sure
LAYER EIGHT: AGE
- Day your next birthday will be: A whole 'nother year, April 4
- How old will you be: 23
- Age you lost your virginity: 18 ^^;;
- Does age matter: Depends; If we're talking friendship, similar levels of experience and intelligence I couldn't see any pitfalls; Relationship wise, to an extent, Younger girls seldom seems to matter, but when the gap gets to the ten year and beyond point you tend to think about things that normally wouldn't concern you.
LAYER NINE: IN A BOY OR GIRL
- Best personality: Kind, sense of humour and affectionate [I know, i'm easy >.<]
- Best eye color: intense colours are always fantastic, but I can't go past a lovely green or deep blue
- Best hair color: Black

LAYER TEN: FINISH THE SENTENCE
- I love: my friends

[Melb] Fortnightly Art Meets 29/01/11
Posted 14 years agoThe 2nd Bi-Weekly Art Meet
Date; 29/01/11, 12:00 - 3:00 pm
Locale; "QV Square" [ http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&.....Iy0LWajEQ6_QJdlYEHQ%3BFSgNv_0dyQCkCCGpXcVTnES0Rw&hl=en&mra=ltm&dirflg=w&sll=-37.81097,144.9637&sspn=0.006255,0.008047&ie=UTF8&ll=-37.81028,144.96446&spn=0.001564,0.002012&z=18 ]
Reason; Fortnightly Art Meets
Associated costs: Train ticket to Melbourne Central Station
Contact; Fima was organising this event, but now it's Lex's show
Necessities; Art Things, social skills, and possibly a con badge
Migration; Initially meeting at the Lvl 2 food court, then going to QV Square at 12:15
Meeting next Saturday at Melbourne Central, then walking through to QV Square
Alrighty guys, due to popular demand, and people jabbing me in the head to get the details online, here's the plan for the next art meet.
Ok so last week's art meet went really well, alot of people hung around there was a bunch of socialising and a pinch of art, but there were a few naggling issues that bugged me, the area I had picked for us was by the windows, which had some light and space, but was occupied at the time, I also underestimated the amount of people we were going to have there, to resolve this issue and make things a little easier on everyone, we've decided to set up at QV Square, some of you may be aware of the area if you attended midfur a few years back, or just in general, it's a 2 minute walk from where we were, like central, it sits atop a grocery store if you need supplies, but it has much more natural light, wide open spaces for the more rambunctuous furs and bigger tables for us to set up at as well as interesting surrounding food stores.
On suggestion of Bell the otter, i'll be wearing one of my conbadges and if you would like by all means bring yours too ^_^
P.S. Fima won't be able to attend because of family issues, if he does it will be late, Lex is now organising this event

[Melb] Bi Weekly Art Meets
Posted 14 years agoAlright, I’ll start off with the bullet points and then go into more detail for those who want it
Date; Saturday 15/01/11, 12pm - 3pm
Locale; Melbourne Central Station, Lvl 3 Foodcourt
Reason; Artjams
Associated costs; Ticket into the city
Necessities; Pencils, pens and books if you intend to art, although it’s fairly open ended
Migration; I picked central because there’s shopping and movies as well as a supermarket so after an hour or two everyone can head their own way or split off into groups
Alright, I’ll start at the beginning, I’ve heard a couple of furs complaining that they don’t really have the chance to get together and do art at meets, or that they would just generally like to improve their art in a social setting, to this end i’ve consulted the rest of the [Melbournefurs] group and we’ve decided to set it up as a bi-weekly [or fortnightly, whatever you prefer] art jam/ general hang out session in the city.
Generally art jams can run for a couple hours and it’s usually an open ended conversation thing as well, so until we have something solid I was thinking 3 hours would suffice and we’ll see what feedback we get. The city location and weekend schedule ensures that we can make it as fair as possible to the larger majority, I know some work weekends, but a Friday night doesn’t work logistically.
As for the location, we chose that because it’s easily accessible by public transport, has all of the required prerequisites [food, a place to relax, air conditioning (to ensure that no one gets heatstroke in the current weather)] as well as movies and plenty of shopping to wander off to if you get bored, also remember to bring art supplies, they can be brought around the CBD but they’re usually pricy.
This will be the formula until further notice, but we’re open to suggestions of locations and dates as well as frequency and any other suggestions that you have.
Keep well this year and I look forward to seeing you there, Efimous “Fima” Zhivotnaye [Melbourne Furs]
