Wow Hey I'm Back, also BABY?!?
Posted 7 months agoIt's been a minute hasn't it???
I feel like I needed to take a sort of impromptu break from the glut of social media and posting and furriness that is the online community just to lurk a little bit. But, a lot has happened in the past year and I felt it was high time to send out some updates concerning my situation here, and how things are probably going to go going forward.
I was mostly inspired by the fact that fursuiting tech has FINALLY gotten to the point where there is a bori-specific fursuit base out there and I was able to order one. Elbi will live again!! For those who weren't aware, I retired her last iteration (Elbi 3.0) about 3 years ago. Being without a fursuit for my heartsona for so long has been soul crushing, but I wanted her to look JUST RIGHT the next time I went for it, and I wasn't quite there yet. Luckily, another maker beat me to the quick, and the base will be arriving in a month or two hopefully! I'll be announcing the maker and providing an in depth review of the base once I receive it, and documenting my work on it.
This all happening in conjunction with something equally if not MORE exciting...My new role as mom!
I am currently pregnant with my first baby, a boy. Butterscotch, my mate and I couldn't be happier.
We've wanted a family for SO long, but were never sure if the financials added up. With the clusterf*ck that is the current political climate as well as economics, and I'm not getting any younger, we just said f*ck it, and we'll muddle our way through like most parents do anyway.
We're in a pretty good spot right now, we have a house, 2 cars, and sufficient income as well as a roommate helping us out with a bit of rent while he saves up for a house of his own. So I feel like we'll be ok. Little nugget is due this July! So time is running out to be any sort of productive with the fursuit side of things.
I'll be staying home, naturally, and I'm excited to get to spend all that time raising our baby and seeing all those milestones, as well as squeezing in time for premades and continuing with my craft on MY terms.
I'm equally excited to see Elbi's return just as I enter this new phase of my life. She'll look different and feel different, same as I will. I hope once the baby is a bit older we can start doing cons again as a family, and I can introduce him to the wonderful world of furry which is why he even exists!
2025 is totally the year of transformations. Looking forward to all of it!

LIVE from my new Workshop!
Posted 5 years agoSo...I did a thing. Lol. I rented my first studio space for the next year!! It's ADORABLE, and perfect for me. a 16x16 room with a private half bath, central air and heat, for honestly super cheap per month. My landlord is really cool and always available to help with anything, and my neighbor (it's a 3 unit building) is really sweet and runs a shop I'd actually buy from! I'm over the moon by how everything came together to make this happen, as it's something I've wanted since I was probably 15-16 years old.
Having a space that's entirely mine, outside of the house is a luxury I thought I'd NEVER get, and honestly it's intended to be short term, as we sell our current house and get our new one built, but STILL. and if I like it and can manage to get my license/a car within the year, I may keep coming here! I'm not sure yet. The plan was to make an even BIGGER studio space in our new house that I could occupy full time, which would be lovely. Our new house is going to be in the mountains and driving those roads in the winter would be frightening to say the least. I also plan on staying home with any future kiddos and homeschooling, so being home would be ideal. But I really don't know what the future holds anymore! I could not have told you in January that I would have my own studio at this point. Heck, I couldn't have told you AFTER COVID that this would be happening! So it's all just blessings from here on out.
Business has been...odd. Etsy changed their algorithm *again* and it's not been favorable. People are also tapped out and potentially the loss of income is impacting sales. But I've had a lot more large orders in between my openings then I typically get, so that's made up for it sort of.
I'm looking forward to boosting productivity and having more time now to look into how to improve traffic and get things back to how they used to be and better. I'm looking at being in the shop around 6:30 am every morning and staying until 4, so plenty of time to feel productive and get stuff done!
Basically...life is great. I feel a little guilty saying that because I know so many people are suffering right now still because of the pandemic, but I am also eternally grateful to all of my customers this year who helped me get here and enabled me to keep going, when so many others had to give up or lost their entire businesses due to the issues in the world right now. I thank my lucky stars every day, and I'm still so humbled by the people who trust me with their characters and truly enjoy my suit work.
Hope everyone is hanging in there ok, and hopefully I get to see some of you eventually at AC 2021!

Chuggin' Along in COVID America
Posted 5 years agoSo it's been a second since I updated this page. Just another shout out to those I only have on FA nowadays that I'm still doing ok, I'm alive, and not much else has changed. Business is booming, and I feel a lot more confident then I did even from the last journal I left about a year ago.
Adjusting to COVID has been odd, even though we're not in a heavily hit area, but we're only a few hours out from NYC, and I have dozens of friends and family members down there who have been thrown for a loop. Not much has changed for us besides not being able to visit friends on the weekends, and wearing masks everytime we go out to buy supplies. I've been staying in the house a LOT more than usual of course, and it actually seems to be helping my seasonal pollen allergies, so I can't really complain.
Having Butters with me has been an absolute lifesaver, and we still manage to go out and do some fun things now that the weather is nice, away from other people. Isolating with him hasn't truly felt like isolating, and I'm super grateful I am not in an LDR at this point in time. I would go insane without hugs and kisses.
My birthday was a massive bust this year, as I'm an April baby and had plans to do something pretty big for the first time in ages, and had to reschedule for September, and now I don't even know if they'll allow me to reschedule again or get a refund. It was a decent amount of money I spent on tickets and travel and I will be VERY upset if something can't be done seeing as how this is all out of my control...Fingers crossed things are at least a little better by then.
Watching local small businesses shutter one by one has been really sobering and sad, as a small business owner myself I feel attached to these people on a different level, even though I don't know a lot of them well. I know what it takes to just jump and trust the chips will fall favorably, and invest a lot of money into something hoping it will turn out ok. And to have this happen and ruin so many people's dreams of being their own bosses in brick and mortar businesses is a new level of unfair to me. We were all woefully unprepared and the bitterness of capitalism is rearing it's ugly head right now.
I hope all is well with the FA world, I'm posting a lot more to my business page than here for marketing purposes, so if you feel so inclined you can follow me there, lsdfursuits
Hope everyone is doing ok and sheltering in place, may we get out of all of this stronger and better than ever! Hang in there!

Life Update!! Fall 2019 and BEYOND!
Posted 6 years agoSo hey! Its been a while, figured I’d drop by and dump iff some new life uodates.
Butterscotch and I are living in married bliss and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. He’s a good bun and we take good care of each other. Been so proud of him this year what with all his job changes and opportunities, it really makes me happy to see he’s found a place that also doesn’t feel like work so much because its something he enjoys.
The year has been a crazy roller coaster ride for me, but what first year business isn’t riding the ups and downs of figuring out how to make that money work out and balance it all for 12 months! Its definitely been a huge learning curve and I’ve been trying to stay 5 steps ahead of it. So far so good! As we enter the infamous holiday season I’m of course in the dark as to how things will go compared to last year, and its hard to prepare really. Think of it like a business version of that Bird Box movie. Lol!
Other then the hustling aspect, I am 100% loving being able to work from home. It’s literally a dream come true for me. I’m not doing exactly what I expected I would be doing, but hey, whatever works right? I thrive so much on being uninterrupted and motivating myself to get projects finished.
Honestly the only thing that I feel is lacking is...well, space. Me and the bun definitely want to consider children someday and there’s simply no place to put them in the house currently. Plus, I’m working out of a glorified closet and my business stuff unavoidably overspills into our living space and we both agree it would be best for both of us and my own mental state if I had my own building to work out of, and the living space could be truly seperate.
So, we’ve started house hunting in earnest. We won’t be able to afford much, since my income is basically useless on account of I’ve only officially been doing it full time for about a year, so only Butters income can be counted for a loan. But up here is luckily fairly cheap, so we are hoping to get lucky and find a nice house that fits all our needs within our price range.
That will be next year’s adventure, selling this house and buying a new one I think! We never do anything small anymore, its always go big or go home .
On the con front, I may only be able to justify any future trips if we are selling at the con itself. Saving for a house is a biggie right now and it maintains priority over anything convention related. So that whole schedule will be a TBA for now.
Suitwise I’m looking at a Bamf 2.0 finally, and yet another refurb for Elbi’s body. I’m never happy! But not really looking to buy anymore or make anymore to keep (unless a premade stands out to me!) Still have yet to find a maker’s style I just have to have, and the market is so saturated nowadays...Maybe I’m just too picky lol. But it definitely works for me cuz I’m saving money!
I definitely miss my fuzzy friends and I know its been ages since I’ve seen a lot of you, but I’’m doing just fine, adults gotta adult, and hopefully I get to see some of you soon!

MFF Review & 2019 Con List
Posted 7 years agoHey! So, we survived MFF. Lol, best way to describe it. Idk if it's because I'm getting older or what, but that whole experience was only fun because I was with my husband the entire time and we MADE it fun for each other.
Too big, too spread out, I already get claustrophobic in small spaces, and those hallway mazes back and forth were misery, I almost had a panic attack in my new suit because of them, the weather was too shitty for outside pictures, Just overall I was NOT impressed enough to go back. It was also naturally MUCH MORE expensive then AC. I easily dropped close to 2 grand on the entire trip for the both of us, and that was without breakfast and lunch most days which we brought ourselves. I'd honestly have rather saved that money to go back to Disney World after a little more saving!!
Highlights? The Con Suite which was open to EVERYONE. I LOVED that. I loved knowing I had a guaranteed place to get free food and drink if I was feeling hungry, and the shop in the Hyatt was reasonably priced for snackfoods and drinks.Going to the Sugar Factory on Sunday was an absolute BLAST, I had so much fun there with my friends and made some new ones and had tons of awesome food and drinks! The Escape Room by FuzzyLogic was a ton of fun too! I'm glad we got to experience that. And I'm really glad we SPONSORED. We got to skip the worst of the horrific reg line and got preferred seating for the major events. That really made a world of difference. And the free Brunch on Saturday was HEAVEN.
Art Show was hella organized and friendly, and I hope it got the word out about my work a bit with my elephant showing. The Staff were all really sweet and nice, which was nice to see.
The downsides outweight the good tho unfortunately, so we'll be passing on it in the future. But I'm super glad we got to try it out and see what all the fuss was about!
Now, for 2019, I'll be working things a little closer to the collar and staying on the East Coast for the most part.
ANE (Feb)
FTM (March)
FWA (May)
AC (as dealer assistant/work/marketing) (July)
PFC (MAYBE) (April)
TPC (PROBABLY MAYBE) (August)
...aaaand thats probably gonna be it. I think keeping my fall months clear of cons will be the way I have to roll because November this year was SO rough, and if I'd hadn't had to deal with Furpoc and MFF, I could have been more efficient and gotten more done.
So I hope to see some of you in 2019! And keep an eye out for more updates and fun stuff here, I mean to get back into FA but orders and trying to recover from November/MFF is taking up a lot of my time right now, not to mention the holidays being so close. I'll get to it eventually!

I also have a myriad of fun props to use to spice up your shots, and a mental library of poses to suggest, so even if you're shy or new to suiting, I know how to pose you and make you feel at ease in front of the camera, and most important of all, HAVE FUN!
I am also open to doing couple and group shots, as well as fursuit maker group shots for marketing.
I also shoot videos! I am open for video slots as well, but you'll have to email me for pricing, as that heavily depends on length, if you have chosen music already, and your availability as well as mine to get the shots you want.
You can check out my photography work here on my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vanillasquirrel
I don't have too much recent video work yet, since I've been incredibly busy with everything else going on, but you can check out my Youtube for some of my older stuff! Most of it was shot with my personal GoPro and my DSLR. https://www.youtube.com/user/luckiione
PLEASE EMAIL ME AT LIQUIDSUNSHINESTUDIOS[at]GMAIL.COM for information on how to book. If you note me, I probably won't see it and won't reply in time.
Looking forward to working with some of you fuzzies and capturing some beautiful fursuit photos with you!
This is our very first time attending and we're very excited!
I would LOVE the opportunity to shoot fursuits while we're there, since it's a really big passion of mine, I love photography in general but I absolutely love posing fursuiters and working with you to really showcase your costume and your character!
I'm the type of photographer who will throw myself on the ground to get that perfect shot, lol. I've been shooting for almost 10 years now, I have a Canon 60D DSLR, shoot RAW, and I can edit photos for you so they look absolutely perfect for prints, social media, and more! I will be bringing my laptop with me as well, so for a small extra fee I can also do next day delivery, either via customer provided flash drive, or upload to DropBox/Flickr.
I am offering 1 hour sessions based on the amount of finished shots you'd like.
$25- 10 Finish Edits
$50- 30 Finish Edits
$75- 50 Finish Edits
$100- 100 Finish Edits + all photos taken with basic edits.

2019, Married Life, and BIG CHANGES
Posted 7 years agoSooo, I know it's been a hot second since I posted a journal here!
I haven't abandoned FA, I'm actually planning a big comeback soon, but more on that in a bit.
So I'm a MARRIED BORI now, it still feels weird, and I still constantly forget to sign with my new last name, but I'm sure in time I'll get used to it. It feels different, and yet no different if that makes sense lol. Butterscotch and I feel more like a team then we did before, and with that comes a whole new host of responsibilities and I've been thinking long and hard on my mental space and how to take care of my mental health and still do what I enjoy going forward.
So it's with much excitement I say I will be going FULL TIME with my craft in 2019! What does this mean really? Well, I'll be leaving my current retail job by christmas, and focusing purely on my suiting/crafting business full time. It's something I've honestly wanted to do but been too afraid to for years, and I just keep doing better and better every year on Etsy, it doesn't make sense not to focus on it, especially since I make more money off it then I ever could at a part time job, which is all I could probably handle with my anxiety.
I'm excited about it, but of course with any leap this big, there's fear and doubt. I've been doing my darndest to plan this all out as carefully as possible and do it with the least amount of risk. I've been talking to a dear friend who does it full time and has been doing well for years about how to handle things, and I'm confident I'll be alright, make up the difference from a part time job and then some!
I'm having a lot of fun amping up my marketing and researching what works and what doesn't. Honestly online marketing was something I would have loved to do for a big box company, but it feels so much better doing it for myself instead.
Working from home also makes my schedule much more flexible, and will allow me to claim con expenses as a deduction on my taxes (since it would be considered a business trip/marketing) so you all know what that means! MORE CONS! Even just by showing up in my new suit, entering art shows with premades or bringing premades to show off, it boosts my income, and I no longer have to feel guilty about having fun while I do it! Haha!
I don't really know what the future will hold right now, I just really want to see how next year goes, but if I play my cards right, this may be it for me. I'm happy because it's what I've always wanted, really, and leaves the door open for other ways of working from home, like writing gigs, graphic design, telecommuting, and allows me to potentially stay home and save literally thousands of dollars on childcare, if I can keep it up into the baby having years!
It's not what i THOUGHT would happen, but if I'm careful and watch my money habits, it's doable, and not half as scary as I thought it would be. I'm excited, scared, nervous, but confident and happier then I have been in a LONG time with a job decision. So I'm going to trust my gut and take the jump!
Expect to see more suit related posts on here as I try to grow my audience more aggressively, and my banner ad to go back up again soon!
Thanks to everyone who's been with me on this journey since the beginning and have seen me grow over these past what, 6 years since I've been in the fandom? HAS IT REALLY ONLY BEEN 6?!? So much is different, it's crazy!!
Welp, here's the the next 6 years!

New website!!!
Posted 7 years agohttp://www.liquidsunshinestudios.weebly.com
Finally got to completely revamp this puppy! Its going to be my complete link HUB with eventually all my social links, a blog, my patreon and ko-fi pages, and it already has my current auction and my Etsy on there. This is a huge step as I move the bulk of my advertising away from free social media and deep into paid advertising and google ad space. I’M SO EXCITED!! Keep an eye out for my new banner ad that’ll be going up here soon!!

Summer Blues
Posted 7 years agoAlright so high time for an update post!
Wedding is creeping closer and sapping all the money I have, it's scary but I know when the day comes it'll all be worth it!
Summer has always been a slow time for the fursuit business, and it's a real bummer when I need premade stuff sold and have put a halt on custom orders that are too time consuming so I can focus on the wedding. But, we'll be ok. I have prepared for it a bit better then I did last year. It's the one thing I hate about the business though, preparing and saving for the slow times. I just want and need consistency, I guess.
I am proud of the fact that despite the tightness of my budget I will NOT be posting any emergency slots, and I've just reposted my Etsy listings early at my new prices. I think emergency commissions are shady and unprofessional, and I'd honestly never do them. It's taking advantage of a situation instead of dealing with it yourself and I find it to be very dishonest. Props to people who do it and don't see a problem with it, but I do, personally.
If you're curious as to what premade stuff I have, I am still trying to sell my premade snow leopard suit, I can cast from my base uncut for $100, and other goodies I can do are up on my Etsy.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/LikwidSunshineStudio
https://www.etsy.com/shop/LikwidSunshineStudio
https://www.etsy.com/shop/LikwidSunshineStudio
I'll be starting to offer new stuff very soon like fursuit collars, kitten style ears, fursuit sneakers/sandals, and more accesory/merch stuff to appeal to those on a budget more. So super psyched for that!
Also currently working on my very first fursuit sized beanie hat! Crocheting is so soothing and I can't wait to finish it and show the results and possibly offer them for sale too!
Soooo that's the update for now, fun small stuff on the horizon, I'm excited for everything that's yet to come this summer like starting my new job, and being free to actually pursue some projects I never had time to before. It's gonna be a nice little vacation month for me.
And then next month...THE WEDDING! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN

Looking for a quick cheap REF sheet $60
Posted 7 years agoQuick, cheap digital ref sheet needed to go with a premade full digi suit I plan on selling within the next few weeks. I need a quick turnaround, maybe a week tops. I was going to do it but I just do not have the time and ref sheets take forever.
Willing to pay up to $60 for a 3 view. Doesn't have to be crazy detailed, just basic, flat colors, no shading. no bg. Willing to take work that's on an edited predone base and is just colored/changed slightly, as long as you own the rights to use the base or it's free use.
Will be for a snow leapard/cat hybrid, has some detailed markings but would be quick work for someone with a tablet.
Link me to your work and send me your preferred contact info. I'm on Telegram now, Twitter, and Instagram. I also do emails. NO FA DM's.
I'm not being too picky, but I really REALLY cannot wait months for this, so if you have a full queue or are too busy to start this soon, please don't post.

CUSTOM FURSUIT HEAD AUCTION LIVE!!!

https://www.thedealersden.com/listi.....auction/133746
https://www.thedealersden.com/listi.....auction/133746
check it out! My spring 2018 Head only Auction is live!
I can promise a faster turnaround time then most other makers due to the way I schedule myself and how quickly I can work.
So if you want a head by AC or just for funzies, and don't want to wait months, this is the best way to do it, and the best person for the job!
Even if you're not personally interested, spreading the word would be GREAT! This is the only auction like this I'll be running EVER, besides my bodysuit one in June. So it's a rare chance!

ISO Possible MFF roomies?
Posted 7 years agoHeya! I know it's HECKA early, the hotel blocks haven't even been released yet, but I have to start thinking about this now so I can save up and make sure I can afford this.
I am looking into trying to make it to MFF this year, and I am hoping to get a table, either in the AA or the Dealer's Den to make up the cost of the trip. It will most likely be me and Butterscotch, or me and a friend depending on if he can get the time off/if it makes sense for him to miss work and lose a week of pay for the con.
So, anyone looking for possible roomies? Cuz I'd totally be in!

2018 off to a great start plus suit decisions....
Posted 8 years agoWell so far 2018 has been a real whirlwind of good things for me! I'm super pumped as I continue planning for the wedding, and I did better this month salewise then I EVER have in my entire 2 year history on Etsy! It's really amazing what a difference paid ad space has made for me and my business, and I'm loving every second of it. Worth every penny, and I don't even pay that much for it.
I am facing a little bit of a difficult decision for me personally in that I am debating completely remaking Elbi from the ground up, in my style, with a head by me, and retiring her old suit for lazy outings or cons too far to accomodate her new one. It's tricky because the head Kilcodo made me is so beautiful, but is definitely starting to see it's age now, the jaw has loosened, the neck is mucky and no amount of cleaning can help, and just overall I'm looking for a new fresh take on her. I know I said I'd never make her digi (lol) but I think if I make it subtle digi I'll be able to survive. She needs a new backpack, her ld shell is falling apart, just needs a total rehaul. I am praying I have the time and funds to do this in the fall, but we'll see. Still very much on the fence over this, or just sticking with Euphemia my cybunny as my new con suit. Torn, torn torn. my life is changing so much and my attitude towards everything is shifting, so I feel like a shift in characters may be the best for me rather then a new suit for Elbi.
What do you guys think? Should I just make Euphemia a fullsuit or revamp Elbi?
Elbi will always be my best self, my sona and my main, but suitwise I feel like I need something fresh, especially as my skills improve and I grow jealous of my own customers for having more of my work that I'm proud of then I do!

2017 In review
Posted 8 years agoWell now! 2017 was a great year for me for several reasons!
1.) GOT ENGAGED!
2.) Started planning for the wedding!
3.) Sold more of my fursuiting work then ANY year previous!
4.) Became a keyholder at my job and got a small raise
5.) Was able to single handedly support myself and Butters while he spent 3 months job hunting, without touching my savings. I can’t tell you how MASSIVE an achievement that was for me, and how stressful it was to do, but I’m proud that I was able to do it. Now maybe someday Butters can return the favor while I break into the graphic design field and work on my portfolio and website!
6.) Choosing to cut down on suitwork and focus more on getting a more consistent art job. Being able to finally do this means a lot to me as well, since suiting has paid my bills for so long I felt stuck, but now I don’t anymore and can now fully give it the hobby status it was always meant to have in the new year once my final orders are done.
7.) Realizing that suiting and the fandom is slowly taking a backseat in my life as I explore and learn new skills, and plan for our future together. I’ve made so many friends in the fandom, but luckily they’re now mostly local to me, so cons aren’t as necessary anymore. My social 20’s are ending soon, and I’m more then fine with it.
8.) Embracing my inner designer and retraining my brain to think graphically, and pursuing it by reading books and exercising those old rusty skills in any way I can. I only hope to have even more time to draw and research in 2018!
9.) Taking a long necesary break (possibly permanent) from social media. The toxicity and negativity was reaching a devastating high, and cutting it out of my life has left me feeling SO much better, more relaxed, and honestly healthier, and mentally more capable of creating items I’m proud of.
I know 2018 will be even better as I gain a husbun and start on our path as adults together in this big ole’ world. Just can’t believe all my wildest dreams are coming true...❤️❤️❤️

Personal Photo Deletions
Posted 8 years agoSo, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I have now removed ALL photos showing my face from here, Twitter, privated my personal Youtube videos, and purged my Instagram. The only place anyone should be able to see my face is my personal Facebook and personal Instagram accounts.
I have done this in order to protect myself from online harassment and unwanted targeting at conventions. I feel like this is the right move to make in order to protect myself in the fandom going forward. My friends know what I look like and can see me anytime they want, and that's all I really care about right now. I'd rather be known for my work and my suit, especially since I will most likely be cutting back my convention attendance significantly anyway for real life stuff like, oh, a HOUSE and maybe kids someday.
If you know of anyone who has reposted personal photos of me or photos showing my face recently WITHOUT MY EXPLICIT PERMISSION, please note me or message me via email fluvvquotes[at]gmail.com so I can get them to take it down. I am already aware of one, and I am working on getting it taken down.
If you are a close friend of mine and already have photos of my face up on here, or non-private social media, that's okay, but I would definitely ask you to please take them down or scrap them.

Furpocalypse 2017!!!
Posted 8 years agoWhere are you staying?
In the main hotel thanks to my awesomesauce buddy Kimmerz!
What day are you getting there?
Thursday afternoonish
Who will you be rooming with?
Kimmerz, my bun, and one other lovely fur I have yet to meet!
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
ALL THE PEEPS. anyone who wants to chill! Most likely my usual suspects though lol. I'll be more flexible this year too, and not completely stuck at a table, so yay!
What is the best way to find you?
It’ll be hard to miss a big yellow fuzzy thing! I’m skinny, tall, and my wardrobe is usually pretty colorful! So keep an eye out! .
Are there any panels you might be attending?
Not seeing any that catch my eye yet but that may change once I’m there.
What do you look like?
Tall, long armed, slouching, brown haired, female freak of nature with glasses. .
Will you be suiting?
Whenever I feel like it. I really enjoy handling a lot more now and interacting with suiters as myself so might not suit as much as I used to.
What is your gender?

Hugs are fun! Snugs are FOR THE BUN <3

How long are you going?
Thursday afternoon to Monday..

Dead Dog, otherwise, nope.

I’ll be trying out for dance comp after a year hiatus, and doing the masquerade costume contest again!

It’ll be hard to miss a big yellow fuzzy thing! I’m skinny, tall, and my wardrobe is usually pretty colorful! So keep an eye out! .
Are there any panels you might be attending?
Not seeing any that catch my eye yet but that may change once I’m there.

Beginning to a chill summer!
Posted 8 years agoAw man, now that I have finished my one pending AC order in time, I feel so free! I still have Etsy orders to do and two pending orders/trades from friends but after that I'm FREE! (and my friends are awesome, understanding individuals who I know I can depend on not to poke me and let me do good work, I love them so much)
SO! All the things are getting done this summer thanks to my AWESOME new work schedule. Some of those things will include:
Valentine BORGI premade (Bunny Corgi)
Bamf partial will finally be started!!
New feet for Butterscotch which he sorely needs
a possible bodysuit for Merlyn as well as her custom hoodie
Finishing Bamf's kigurumi!
Finishing redesign updates on Elbi/new tail
Planning/designing our wedding website as well as my brand new quote form and maybe some Fluvv Costumes website updates!
I'm so excited you guys, I really feel refreshed and inspired now that I have all my spring customer orders done. Can't wait to fig into my own stuff for a bit, and get ready for an intense 2018 with 5 new orders!

Life Update!
Posted 8 years agoOh hai there!
Sorry it's been a while, I don't really come on here much since most of my traffic is elsewhere, like IG and Facebook and Etsy.
But updates! YES.
Butterscotch and I are closing in on a date for our wedding next year, so hoping to announce that soon, and definitely hoping to have a "fursuit ceremony" next year at Furpocalypse! You are all invited to that! <3 Figured it was fitting since Furpoc was where we first started really talking and became friends!
My suitwork has leveled up, and so have my bigger order prices! Just in time for my Fall opening which will be in SEPTEMBER for 5 SLOTS for 2018.
I will NOT be taking on more than that, besides my one bodysuit slot auction I plan on having every summer since that's usually my order dry spell and it's slow at my job too, so it helps me with bills to have it then. Emergency slots will be few and far between as I try to get premades done to sell instead of opening for custom slots.
My Etsy is still open at all times for paw and parts orders. Hoping to update the listings shortly so they're a bit less confusing and less of a headache for me.
I am also always open for ROUGH QUOTES but these numbers will almost always differ from official quotes you get from my form when it goes up.
Plan on having a nice chill summer cranking out some long awaited premades and some personal projects. My schedule at work has died down and I'm mostly only working weekends now, so I'm much less stressed and ready to be productive! As such Etsy order turnaround should be quicker by about mid-July into September.
I am hoping to have a table at Furpocalypse Artist Alley again this year and I will be selling some fun stuff! So look out for me there if you're going!
I will NOT be attending Anthrocon this year due to cost issues. I MAY be back eventually as a vendor, but I don't think I'll ever go back for just fun again. :/ Personal decision, don't judge!
Otherwise besides some crappy sinus infections that have knocked me back a bit this allergy season I'd say all is going well and I'm really excited for the future!!!

ENGAGED! EEEE!
Posted 8 years agoSo Butterscotch popped the big question today while we were at Genericon, a convention we have gone to for the past 3 years now and which was our first convention as a couple! I was completely blindsided and surprised, despite me bugging him about asking for months now lol.
It's funny, it was such a special moment and yes our lives are going to change now and yet everything is so comfortably familiar. It's like we were engaged already he just had to formally ask. XD
I love my bun with all of my little bori heart and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him by my side!
No wedding date yet, I'm still trying to wrap my head around what just happened, lol but we'll definitely be talking about it more seriously now!
Thank you to my good friend
who recorded the proposal for us and was just amazing!!! I'm so happy we'll be able to show it to our kids someday instead of just tell a story! Gotta love technology!
