I've been wanting to hold a design contest for a while. ;o; So, I figured why not now? I'm really stuck on some designs, so I'd love to have some help~

Now, this is for a pair of designs, like.. Coupled up designs. <_< One for me and the other for my boyfriend.

SO, without further ado, the content for the contest...

First place prize: $30 + some artwork.

There's only one placement, but if I see some designs I cannot live without, I'll probably make an offer on those, too. c: Multiple entries are allowed, too.

As stated above, this is for two designs that could be paired together, so they can match or contrast. Whatever you'd prefer.
Bases/premade lines /are/ allowed, but there are points for customized lines. : p

You may sell the designs if you don't win.

Any species would work. We particularly like foxes, though. Also, sceney sparkle dogs are fun. lol But not required.

Okay.

What he likes:
Dark/Mysterious, something that could pass as a recluse, maybe.
Blues, reds, oranges, and purples are his top favorite colors.. (<_<; Hehe uhm.)
A techy/geeky aspect that could be included would be cool.

What I like:
Darker color schemes with bright pops. I loooove grays and greens, or gray-purples.
Something with hair, though that's not required.
Sweet/cute look.

I'd put up examples of designs I like, but I dunno if I can. D:
