I so appreciate their efforts to promote a fundraiser to help me get a new computer. My current pc is awfully old and recently had a nasty malfunction. For a while I'm working with a borrowed laptop, so they decided to offer a "sketch-a-thon" art stream on the following day:

I didn't even bother to use any fancy video editor software, just slapped an MP3 over it, and the timing with the sequel fits so well it's quite scary. :P

So this is a follow up to my previous journal ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8079243/ )

Beforehand, I'd like to thank to all my friends and followers who were concerned about my health condition, giving me plenty of cheerful messages. I really appreciate your kindness!

Things has been more clear since my last report. On later months and several medical exams done, I was diagnosed with spondyloarthritis, an umbrella term for inflammatory diseases that involve both the joints and the entheses (the sites where the ligaments and tendons attach to the bones). It seems my kind of arthritis is associated with inflammatory bowel issues, but I'm still investigating it.

More recently I started to feel pain not only on some of my finger joints (mostly on my drawing hand), but on elbows, back (on the waist line), knees and the bottom of both feet. Until now I was only taking anti-inflammatory medications, but yesterday I got a cortisone-based injection to retract the symptoms, and therefore proceed with a treatment to keep my condition in remission.

Aside that, I've been on a diet which avoids a few kind of foods, mostly the ones that contain gluten. It sucks that gluten is present in most breads, cookies, crackers, cereals, pasta, ice creams, candies... Yep, no fun at all. :P

So that's my current state. Most of these are new and annoying experiences, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Once again, I appreciate the overall support, and thankfully I don't plan to quit working anytime soon.

Alright, this journal is a bit unusual from my part, but is mostly just for venting.

Since july 2016 I've been feeling symptoms of pain in my right wrist. At the time I thought it was tendinitis, went to an orthopedist but he couldn't figure out exactly the problem. In october I made a blood test for rheumatoid factor and the result was negative.

However I've been dealing with an increasing of symptoms since november 2016: pain in my wrist & 2 finger joints from my left (drawing) hand; 1 finger joint from my right hand; toe joint from my left foot.

At the moment I'm relieving a bit of pain with anti-inflammatories and painkillers, and I got an appointment with another rheumatologist for next week. Although my previous rheumatoid factor went negative, I wonder if I'd still under risk of a principle of arthritis, considering I already own an autoimmune epidermal issue since teen years.

Just curious, does anyone has faced something similar on yourself, or on family members/friends? It's been a bit harder to work lately under this condition, but thankfully I'm still productive.

Does anyone knows what ever happened to  missjetset? I quite miss the work of this great artist. :(

Just a heads-up: finally I created some art folders on my FA account. Now it's easier to track down my characters & other pics.

Finally, some good news: last friday I got rid of my previous, terrible internet provider and received at home the tech support from another company, who installed a brand new wi-fi modem. With that I can have a sigh of relief, since it was really annoying being unable to contact friends and customers online for almost 15 days.

Still I'd ask for them a little more patience to get proper replies. I'm still giving priority to finish pending works while I'm slowly replying accumulated messages & emails over the last days.

Most of my friends and customers were already notified, but still it's better to mention it on a journal.

I've been facing problems with my internet connection for over a week. In a few times I had a chance to connect, but for an hour or so. I tried to contact my current server via phone for several times, but they just release a recording notification apologizing for the issues. Also there's no wi-fi places near where I live, so I only could reply notes and emails recently from a friend's computer.

For some reason the internet is working today, but I don't know for how long. I already hired another server but they'll install it in a few days. With that it may happen more delays to reply my messages.

As soon as I have a stable connection I'll release some new pics. Take care everybody!

Thanks a lot for all my friends, fans and viewers who appreciate my work. Hope you had fun with most of my artwork, or at least had a good chuckle with my silly cartoonish comics and characters. :)

This year was quite tough for me, but I'd say I was quite surprised with the ammount of kind notes & shouts I received for christmas and my birthday, as well as the wonderful gift arts I get from several talented artists. This totally motivates me to ignore most of the bad things from the past and makes me proceed with my work on the upcoming year.
