Due to my current dayjob, I'm not having enough time and opportunity to use a computer for scanning and digital coloring during business days. So keep in mind that eventual updates and samples might happen only on weekends.

General | Posted 13 years agoAs usual, I'll take a little break and on this christmas eve I'd like to bring up on this journal my best wishes to all my friends and fans who over the year has been following my artwork and caring me not only as an artist, but as a fellow person.
In retrospect, 2012 wasn't a very good year for me at all. As stated on a journal in october, I have been dealing for months with a very odd health condition, which made me feel painful twinges and burning sensation over my body in moments of stress, positive or negative. No medic could figure out what's the matter, but nowadays I believe it's something psychosomatic.
Although I still feel the symptoms sometimes, thankfully I don't feel it as intense as it was in the past, which is a great relief and brings me the joy for having some quality of life once again.
Plus, I'm quite fine with the events over the very last months, since I was hired again from the animation studio I worked on back in 2009/2010, once again under the role of character/props designer on some cool projects.
Not much else to say at this point. Once again, hope you all have a great christmas night, and be welcome to see my upcoming releases on this gallery. Thanks for all the cheers, laughs and relevant/constructive criticism.

In retrospect of events: Over the last 4 months I've been having a series of very odd symptoms, which happens essencially during moments of stress: painfull twinges followed by burning sensation over my skin (mostly on hands, feet and around the neck) and occasional headaches, as well as other symptoms. I even lost about 8.8 lbs during that time.
I went to several doctors from different specialities and did tons of exams, but none has reached a relevant diagnosis. Personally, I suspect is some kind of a mix of psichosomatic and metabolic issues. But honestly I'm just speculating, since I'm not sure what's going on.
Oddly enough, the symptoms was fading good over the last weeks, which was a nice relief and made me think I was cured. However, I've been feeling some of the twinges returning on the last days, but not on the same intensity as before. It's still quite unconfortable, but thankfully I'm still able to work, which is good since I'm about to start working on new project outside the fandom that might take a few months.
In the meantime, I'm still finishing my current commissions. Thanks again for the patience.

For people interested in commissions: Please be patient. I wanted to open new slots for the next days, but I'm currently dealing with a couple health issues since the end of May (occasional twinges followed by pain over my body, specially on the hands, feet and back).

Suggestions for a future webcomic
General | Posted 14 years agoFor years (almost decades) I've been procrastinating several personal projects, and as the time goes by, I'm already feeling it's more than time to be focused in at least one of them, and release it once for all.
In 2008 I exclusively posted here some older concept arts of my alien girl character 'Allison'. She was created in 1999, but I did just a few doodles and gave sparse developments to her over the time. Nothing fancy.
My main intention was always to make her a protagonist for a webcomic series. There's plenty of writen jokes involving Allison and other characters. Most of these extra characters became obsolete and scrapped down the road, while others were eventually created. But now I think everything deserves a full development.
But first, my intention is to give Allison a major redesign. She will remain essencially the same, but modernizing the visual style a bit. Some people might complain that I want to reduce part of her sex appeal in favor of a wider audience, but that's something I already decided. but no prob, she's still a cute, sexy gal.
Anyway, I'm open for suggestions related to this series: what do you expect in terms of design, humor, etc. By far I can tell the format might be comics in 4 to 6 pannels, essencially focused on nonsense sitcom, with a slight continuation of a subject.
I know there's no much material to show for a while, but if someone wants to give a honest, relevant feedback, feel free to check out the following links containing some older artwork:
