2020 Update
Posted 6 years agoSo the new year is here, and that means another monthly update journal. I have a reason I delayed this though, and that was to see whether I'd hit 325 followers on Furaffinity, or 250 on Deviantart. The latter happened first, so that means a new raffle! Check the journal after this for more info.
Year goals:
More vore
Most of those who follow me are into vore, so I intend to provide more of that this year. Still macro/micro only though.
More commission types
I'd like to be able to provide some more options for customers out there, so expect me to add some more this year. YCH stuff might also be a consideration.
More angles
Last year towards the end, I got stuck on making 3/4ths view, and before that during the summer I kept only making front facing maws. Going to change that up this year.
College starts back up again later this month, so I'll have more time. Furthermore, my schedule is much more bare this semester too, so there's a chance my art output will still be higher.

December goals, short hiatus, new queue, Discord server
Posted 6 years agoBack again for another update! Last month was slow until towards the end, when I pumped out 4 things in a week. Much faster than I usually do.
Now, college is wrapping up. As of writing this, I have exactly a week left of classes to get through! That of course, entails studying and finals, which means slower art output still. That's not the only thing though, I'm going a trip from the 14th to the 22nd, so I'm not likely to be making too much art then either (hence the hiatus) So yeah, slower output still. Once I get back I'll be resuming as per usual!

Still, college is in full swing, do expect slower output, and goals might not be fulfilled. That and commissions seem to take a bit more time than they used to.
I have also updated my commission/art queue, moving it to a new post. I have stuff I want to do mixed in, as I do want to do art just for fun sometimes as well, like with the fanart I'm doing at the time of writing. Here's the link to that: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9312025/

Should I make a Patreon or something similar?
Posted 6 years agoHey guys, been mulling it over in my head for a while, and decided to get some input. The question is simple, should I make a Patreon or Kofi?
Now, it wouldn't have tiers, I don't know what I would do for those. I want everyone to be on an equal footing at least for that, I know some can't give as much as others. One thing I would do though, is Patreon polls, where I make a mawshot, or vore or whatever based on a vote from my patrons, and do so maybe once a month.
Any suggestions guys? Anything you think I should know?

Posted 6 years agoSo, time again for another monthly update, that is of course, late. As I'm sure you know, I made a raffle, be expecting stuff from that to come this month. Cuz I did it at the end of September, I wanted the raffle to be visible, so yeah, late update. :P

Also coming this month are changes to commissions. First of all, more slots! And two, a universal list. Separate slot lists are a pita. There were 3 slots on FA, and 3 slots on DA. Now there are eight slots in total, which are across both sites. No changes in prices at the time, though I might add more categories later in the month.

* Make another maw for a legendary pokemon.
* Make maws of Zira and Vitani, thereby making a lioness maw set. Also maybe some of the adult lionesses from The Lion Guard
* Make gifts for friends

Raffle winners!
Posted 6 years agoSo as you know, I did a raffle this week, and the winners have been chosen, using the integer generator on Random.org. And because I felt like it, I decided to pick not one or two, but four winners instead. Partly because I got a ton of numbers in, partly because I enjoy doing this stuff!
I did have to generate a few times in order to not get some combos of numbers (some people had two numbers, and it would give out both of them, and dupes happened) The numbers were:
9 39 11 30
Which means that the winners are:

If you've won, I've sent you a PM containing some info and any questions if I have them! I dunno what order I'm gonna do these in, I'm putting them in order in the slots though. Keep in mind if commissions come in, I might push these back.

200 (DA) Followers mawshot raffle! [closed]
Posted 6 years agoSo, I've finally hit 200 watchers on Deviantart! (and I'm close enough to 250 on here, was gonna do this for that anyway). I haven't done anything for you guys to celebrate yet, so here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna give away one or two free mawshots. It's going to have saliva, shading, background, shoulders up, and everything I would normally add to one. To get one, read very carefully.
First, the rules of the raffle:
1. You must be following me.
2. Your account must be more than a week old and not completely empty.
3. Your character must fit the terms outlined in my commission info here: https://www.furaffinity.net/commissions/emu34b/
4. Only one character and maw per person, please.
5. If you're entering an OC that isn't yours, be sure to specify that you have permission. I will be checking. If you in fact, don't have permission, then you wont be counted.
Next, you must answer the following questions. Put it in the comments:
1. Angle (front facing, or 3 quarters) (front facing ref: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32857456/ , 3 quarters: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32986151/ )
2. References for your character. Either pictures or a fairly detailed description (one paragraph or more) will work. Don't just put "a red wolf with green eyes". The only exception to this is if you want a maw of one of my OCs, then just say their name.
3. (optional) Any additional details you want. If your character has an anthro and feral form, and/or you want them in some kind of accessory or clothing, specify what you want here.
4. (optional) Expression on their face. Otherwise I'll wing it.
5. (optional) If you want a specific, simple background. Otherwise I'm gonna wing it. Nothing too complicated.
6. (optional) Want an additional entry to better your chances? Make a journal entry of your own with a link to this journal here, then put the link to your journal entry here. In other words, spread it around! If you do this, you will get two entries!
Additional info:
Don't let the fact my gallery is full of ladies scare you! If you want a maw of any other gender, I don't have any problem with making one!
You will be added to the commission queue if you win the raffle. Except of course, you wont be paying for anything.
If you have both a Deviantart and Furaffinity account, you still only get one entry (unless you did question number six, then you get two still)
No OC? No problem. If you want a certain canon character to a series, I don't have any issue making that either.
If I've made a character before (check my gallery), feel free to ask for them again if you really want them.
If multiple people ask for the same character, it will be consolidated to one entry, that way everyone has the same chance of winning.

Boosting the signal
Posted 6 years agoSince it's later in the month, I decided to make a new one. I would like to give a boost to some artists that aren't as popular as me, and deserve a little boost! If you enjoy the stuff you see here, you'll like what you see on their pages as well. I might do this as a regular feature, since I think it's good to give back to the community.

Bought some art from them before, known em for a bit over on Discord. Awesome to talk to, cute bat pny OC as well! Currently open for commissions, and their prices are great! Taught me a bit about shading and saliva. Also, even though their gallery is mostly ponies, they will do other things.

New vore artist I happened upon on Deviantart. They are also interested in macro/micro and paw stuff. Anyway, their art is also good, and I think some follows and favorites would go a long way! They're pleasant to talk to as well. Not taking commissions, but they are doing requests!

As the title says, I'm closing trades for now. Sort of. Basically, I'll approach you if I want to trade, but I probably won't do trades if asked myself. This is to make room for commissions. Not that I don't enjoy trading with you guys, it's just that I'd like to make a bit of money right now. This month I already have someone who wants to commission 4 things from me, they've been waiting a while.
I'm really really hoping to open up those this month, by the way, even if just a few slots.
Pretty much all the goals remain the same as last month. July ended up being a slower month, but that's fine.

July goals, Discord server, trades and commissions
Posted 6 years agoJournal is one day late I know, but here's the scoop anyway.
Entering July, I've now finished a few goals of mine! This includes finishing the eeveelution mawshot set. Will I make amendments to it like I did with the alicorn one? Most likely yes. Especially since every even generation of Pokemon has brought a new Eeveelution to the table, and we are getting onto Gen 8. I also happen to quite like Glaceon, Flareon etc, so I definitely want to make more maws for that. Also completed my friends' commissions.

Last month I finally made a mawshot of my own OC, finished the new set of alicorn mawshots, and did lots of trades! Lots of you guys seemed to love Renamon.

Anyway, as with April, stuff from last month carries over into the goals list.
Goals:

That doesn't mean you can't send me a note for an idea of yours though! In fact, I would prefer that. Just know I'm really only wanting to do mawshots or busts (neck up) only for now. And I'm only going to charge a flat rate for them.
And now, for the big thing. I've reached 100 watchers here on FA! I never thought that many people would come to follow what I do, especially since I have a pretty darn specific specialty. Anyway, I'm not really sure what to do for this kind of thing besides thank you guys for it. What I might do is have a strawpoll for the next few maws I make, or something. But if you have any ideas, feel free to comment them here!

April goals, commissions possibly
Posted 6 years agoHey, so I thought I'd make another journal and put it out there what my goals are for this month. This isn't confirmation what I'm going to do anything, but I will at least try it.
On a side note, last month was my most active month ever, with sixteen new things being put out. Some of which were quite successful, lionesses and Latias coming to mind.
Some of these things also carry over from last month.
* Finish my friend's comms
* Finish the Eeveelution mawshot set (50% complete)
* Make some more lioness maws (dunno if I'll make it a set yet, but I'll update this if I decide to)
* Open up for commissions officially (possibly). Gotta finish my friend's stuff before I do that though.
Again, if you got a commission idea, feel free to send me a note! I'm more confident in myself now that I've improved so dramatically in so short a time. Still not a guarantee though.
Or just send me a note if you wanna talk to me, that's fine too. I promise I don't bite! Just don't do just "hi" with nothing else, or request art from me.

Well, lets start by laying out some stuff.
Finally updated my avatar! The old one was from 2015. I'm better now, should have something that represents it!
And as you may have noticed, I'm starting to make Pokemon maws now. Don't worry, the pony isn't stopping, but I do like to experiment and try new things! And I might not stop at Pokemon either. Or who knows, I might mix some things up! There's a few characters from MLP that aren't pony you know...
Speaking of which, I got a rough roadmap for you all.

* Make a mawshot for Sphinx from MLP
* Publish some of the updated old works I've made on the side. Shading makes all the difference! And better saliva!
* Someone in my friend circle wishes to comm a few things, no spoilers though.

For the longest time I haven't taken em... and I took my first three back in 2018. And again, someone in my friend circle wants a couple.
So... I'm not going to officially open commissions. But now that I've tried some new things... I feel a little bit more confident in taking one on. I'm not on the level of some artists yet I feel... but you know, I think I'm getting close.
So yeah, if you're interested in a commission or trade from me, just shoot me a note if you got an idea. No, I'm not officially opening them up yet, but feel free to send some ideas if you wish. No guarantees though. I'd prefer just simple things or mawshots for now.
