After months of bugging Twitter support to unsuspend my account, it is finally back with all of my art, likes, and followers intact
I still was not given a direct reason for the suspension, but thanks to reporting my situation to the BBB, they finally told me that it was likely due to "Aggressively liking and reposting" or "Following too many accounts in an attempt to inflate my followers." Both reasons are entirely bullshit, I've had my account since 2014, I have no reason to just now start spamming with the intent to inflate my following or whatever...

*UPDATE*

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart that donated
We got her to the vet and put her on some antibiotics to fight her infection off. As of 5/14/24 she looks to have may a near full recovery, we may need to take her back sometime soon, but for now she is doing all better thanks to all of you, I can't thank you enough!

My senior cat has been having some health scares lately, and I really want to take her to the vet. My job search still hasn't turned up any results and I'm out of options right now...
If any of you have anything to spare to help me get her to the vet, I would really appreciate it. Any amount helps, I just want to make sure that she's going to be ok, this has been going on for about a month now, and I'm worried that she's running out of time...

The Move
So, to spare some of the details, I found myself questioning if I want to stick with this job and stay in Austin or move back home and find another job. For the sake of my own mental health and wanting to be closer to friends and family again, I chose to leave my job of two years and move back home. If I had any idea how 2023 would have turned out, I'd have made the decision to stay and looked for another job, but at the time it seemed like everything was going well and this pay raise would help me find my own place again, so I made the move anyway...

Future Commissions
Anyway, what this means is that I'll be taking a while to make the move and set everything back up in my new/old place, for the time being, I am unemployed with nothing in savings thanks to my surgery I had last month, so that means I will more than likely have to turn to simple commissions for the first time in a while to build a little financial security. Addressing the elephant in the room, yes I know that I still owe some works, and I have every intention either complete or refund them. So, with that said, I will only be opening these commission slots with the guarantee that they will be completed within 2 weeks, then I can reopen them going forward with this same format if it tests well. In the past I've found it a lot easier to motivate myself to draw when I'm only focused on drawing and not with my IRL job, so I have faith that this will be successful in making myself draw more frequently.

Your boi turned 30 years old today...

Management at my day job is cutting hours for a few months due to budget cuts, so this means I will likely have to open a couple weekly or bi-weekly commissions moving forward to keep up with living expenses...

Later on, I will post a plan to work on new ones while completing what I owe moving forward. Prices will likely remain the same, but will be restricted to sketches and flats.

Apologies again to everyone still waiting, my #1 goal is to finally finish what I owe, while also taking new clients that have been waiting to get a slot.

So after months of job searching I finally got hired by a print shop that sells acrylic posters at anime conventions all over the country and I'll be in charge of printing them. The starting pay is very good, and they're allowing me to work part or full-time depending on my availability. My goal is to get my own place again by the end of the year (possibly end of summer), I had to move back in with my grandparents after COVID, but I'm glad there finally seems to be a way for my wife and I to get our own place again if this new job works out.

All that being said, I'm currently finishing up my last 2 weeks at my retail job as well as my college courses for the semester all while training for this new job, meaning I don't have a second of free time until at least middle of May. I know new art has already been slow, so I'm just letting you know the reason why. My creativity lately has been at an all-time low, I've been trying to work on stuff, but I feel constantly exhausted and nothing is coming out right...

If any of my commissioners have any questions or want to negotiate a refund, please feel free to message me, I feel terrible about how long I've made some of you wait and I want to fulfill things as best I can.
Other than that, I will make my best attempts to work on new art when I can, my hope is that when school finishes, it'll allow me more time to sit down and draw rather than work on projects.

So back in August or September, I found a new job to take some time off of doing commissions full time, and it looks like they've decided they don't need me now that the holidays are over, so I'm forced to look for a new one that actually gives me a decent amount of hours...

What this means? I'll probably starting taking a commission or two weekly if I can find the time between school and work, I really hate to do this, because I'm still trying to work my way through the queue I have, but it's getting to the point where I run out of money in a matter of days now...

I'm sorry I have to make another journal about this so long after my last one...

Things have been really crazy to say the least, since January I had been fighting with the management at the apartment we were living at, it was absolutely infested with pests, and there was leaks and all kinds of problems. Instead of addressing these problems, management decided not to do anything, so we were left with no choice but to move out. My wife and I are currently residing at my grandparents place (hopefully very temporarily), but the entire move-out process took quite a bit of time in of itself, but we're just about all moved in at this point finally...

On top of all that, I've been so busy driving places either to run errands or take her to work, leaving me with so little time to actually get work done, on top of that the internet situation here is not really good at the moment. Thankfully my wife got a closer job, so there's less driving, and I'm working on trying to set up an Ethernet connection for my computer so that I can better access my refs and commission forms...

I am still taking 24 Hr. Wing-Its off and on, I'm so sorry to those of you still waiting on your commissions while I'm taking those, but the point of them is to be quick and simple so that I can move on to other work, the issue lately has just been that money is really tight while we're waiting for my wife to move to her new job, forcing me to open up more slots. My ultimate goal is to finally complete or get close to completing my queue from last year before start taking new slots for a more manageable workflow. As I said before, I will not be repeating my mistakes from 2020.

I know it's been near a year since I took some of the commissions I still owe, and I am willing to give updates and even "installment refunds" on them if anyone wants, but PLEASE communicate with me before trying to get my attention in... another way. I am not choosing not to do these commissions, they are on my public queue for everyone to see, I am just finding it hard to make the time to finish them at the moment with all this craziness going on, I'm sorry...
