Posted 6 years agoSo I'm not posting much anymore. I'm definitely not loving FA these days, but I'm trying to keep posting furry art I make here.
I'm most active on Twitter though at sinoparapax.
I'm really busy with real life work and personal projects so I'm not drawing too terribly often anyhow so please don't feel like you're missing out lol.
I'm not planning on opening up for or taking commissions this year. I'm really enjoying drawing for me, myself, and only for me for the first time since I started taking commissions in 2001.
I'll likely take them again someday, and I will announce when I do. But for now it's pretty freeing :)

Posted 8 years agoI completely forgot to mention, I'm in Wyoming on the annual dinosaur dig!!
I have spotty WiFi until next Saturday, and then the following week I'll be driving to Devil's Tower, Deadwood, then back home! I anticipate I'll be back home early August.

Surgery Update: HOME

Posted 8 years agoOk! I'm alive! And so so so sore and tired. But very happy and relieved and just. A huge weight off my soul.
I'm gonna stay in the hospital overnight and I'm not sure how active I'll be onlije until I'm healed but I'll be back soon I hope c:

Surgery Update - Wednesday
Posted 8 years agoSo I'm going in for surgery this wednesday.
They can't do it laparoscopically so they'll just be cutting me open like normal I guess.
Umm to be honest I'm really scared? I'm sure I'll be fine but I can't help it.
I've gotten a couple statement of benefits in the mail but no bills past the first one yet - when I do get the bills I'll post them to my gofundme.

You guys are absolutely amazing. I can't believe the help and suppourt pouring from friends, family, and strangers. I'm humbled and honestly that's making me even more emotional about the whole thing, haha.

I had to go to the er last night due to insane pain in my lower back and abdomen. I have kidney stones, hooray.
While they were doing a ct scan to check if it indeed was stones, they found the cysts on my ovaries have grown a lot. One of them is now 12cm across, the er doctor said the size of a grapefruit. She was really concerned and it scared me. She sent me home this morning with instructions to have surgery to remove the cysts as soon as possible. So I'm doing that I think tomorrow.
I hate to do it but commissions are on hold until this is over. I won't take any new ones until I've recovered, and until I've finished the ones I owe after I've recovered.
I feel stupid but if anyone wants to help out, my insurance won't cover all of this. If you want to donate anything I would be humbled and more appreciative than you can imagine. I don't expect handouts, but if any of you feel like you do want to help, that is definitely a good way. I've linked my GoFundMe above - any little bit will help.
I'm sorry to take a hiatus but this is really important. I'm pretty scared honestly so I'll be spending time up until the surgery offline probably.

So it turns out that the ER and the surgeon I had the consultation with afterwards were at a hospital that wasn't covered by my insurance. (we didn't know this obviously or we would have gone somewhere else) so they're referring me to another surgeon at Adventist. So the surgery is still not scheduled. And I'm frustrated and worried and anxious, but getting this over with as quickly as possible. I'll let you all know how it goes once it finally does... go...

Lineart - $30 (+$10 for an extra character)
Flat Colour - $50 (+$20 for an extra character)
Full Shaded - $70 (+$25 for an extra character)
No more than two characters per ANY drawing please.
If a character has extra details (like wings, extra limbs, complicated clothes etc) I will add on an extra fee.
If the rating of your drawing is adult (tasteful nudity does not count) I will add on an extra fee.
I have a right to turn down a commission for any reason.
There ARE subjects I will not draw. Please feel free to ask if you'd like to know beforehand, otherwise I will let you know when you apply.
Examples of what I will NOT draw: backgrounds, furniture, inflation, city stomping/tiny cities/other similar extreme macro/micro subject matter, pictures that focus only on paws or feet (paws being present are ok but not a picture of JUST paws please), cub, diapers, scat/WS/vomiting, automobiles, robots, human faces, etc. Again, please feel free to ask.

Note: I am NOT leaving FA. I just thought it would be good to give you guys this info.
While I would actually prefer to not use FA anymore, this is where I get 100% of my commissions and any income associated with my artwork. I can't afford to leave :/ It's very likely I will stay here until the end of it, when FA is just shut down completely.

Coloured Sketch - $35 (+$10 for an extra character)
Lineart - $30 (+$10 for an extra character)

Commissions I'm offering tonight, and their prices:
Sketch - $10 (+5 for an extra character)
Coloured Sketch - $35 (+$10 for an extra character)
Lineart - $30 (+$10 for an extra character)
Flat Colour - $50 (+$20 for an extra character)
Adult content addon fee: +$10
No more than two characters per ANY drawing please.
If a character has extra details (like wings, extra limbs, complicated clothes etc) I will add on an extra fee.
If a character has complicated markings or lots of colours, I will add on an extra fee. (only applied if you want the markings drawn in and or coloured)
If the rating of your drawing is adult (tasteful nudity does not count) I will add on an extra fee.

I honestly have accumulated so much more than what is in the gallery over the thirteen years I've been in the fandom, but there is just no way I could upload it all. So I picked a variety, and tried to include everyone!
