This week started off like something straight out of a nightmare: A close friend of mine gets a punctured lung, my boyfriend breaks up with me.... things were starting to take a turn for the worst and everything was going straight down the tubes. But something happened to me last night... you know who you are... and suddenly my whole week completely turned around. I've been lifted in almost every way possible; my spirits are in the clouds and my outlook on life has taken a complete twist. Before last night I felt hopeless, abandoned, something that was filthy and didn't deserved to even be looked at. But then... he came along and pulled me out of the slums of a spiraling depression. You know who you are... and I can't thank you enough for what you've shown me. Then today, someone said something to me that seriously changed my outlook on how I do things. "Go ahead... fail at something. Prove to yourself that you can take the risk and come out on top regardless of what happens. Who knows what will happen, and in the end you will always be a stronger person because of it. So just do it, whatever it is, be willing to take the risk and challenge the outcome head on, good or bad." That inspired me on levels I never thought existed... It's like I've been filled with the energy that no matter what it is I will take the chances, I will roll the dice, and no matter what happens I can always be upbeat and positive. If this the rest of this week is anything like what's happened to me in the past 24 hours... I may just burst into tears... Everyone I know has been so supportive of me this week... Without you guys I wouldn't be anything right now. So, to all I know and love, seriously, I can't thank you enough.
