I took like five steps before turning on my heel and running back inside...I am now terrified

I've been thinking about this for a bit but I don't think I'm fit to take and work on commissions. It's not anyone's fault but my own and I won't try to make any excuses. I've kept people waiting for too long and I've made multiple big mistakes. If I'm going to take peoples money in exchange for art I need to act like a professional and I don't believe that I have been.

To the people whose commissions I'm currently working on I promise I'm going to finish them, but if you want you're money back I'll pay you back in full and finish the commission as well for free. I'm not fully sure how I'll get the money and when but you shouldn't have had to pay for something of such poor quality and that took so long.

I'm sorry.

Okay so this semester I started classes a few weeks late due to some problems concerning my scholarship. I've been doing a pretty good job of catching up but today I went to my chem lab class for the first time and saw that theres some stuff I need to get that my scholarship won't cover and I don't have any money on me right now.
So I need about 180 dollars so I can get a book, lab coat and a few other things so I can actually participate in the lab and attend class. So if anyone wants a commission from me now is the time. I'm going into full on commission mode.

I'll be up north for a week taking care of my grandma so I'll also be online a bit more than I've been lately since there's wifi here.
On another note I'm changing up most of Violets pokemon team and I already have in mind what pokemon I'll be using, but are there any yall would want to see? I don't have my tablet but I've been doing a bunch of sketches for her in a little note book.

Well the spring semester is over so I'll be moving back to my old place tomorrow with my folks.
Right now they don't have internet over at there place and from what I hear they don't want it, Father says if I want internet over there I'm gonna have to pay for it myself.
So it might be a day or it might be a month or so before I have a stable internet connection so I'm probably gonna be off for a while.

Lately I've been really stressed, between school and commissions and I hate myself for it. It's not even that much I should be fine but I've been screwing around with video games and doing stuff I want to instead of working on stuff I need to and I've just realized I've been putting myself into a hole. I don't know I feel like I just can't do anything...all the stuff I like to do is just so hard. I'm not happy with my art, I'm not happy with my school work, I'm not happy with myself and I just want to cry right now.
I'm sorry I just think I need to vent a bit and maybe this will help me clam down.

I'm gonna take a break from playing games, drawing and posting art for awhile and crack down on focusing on school, I'm sorry.
People who I owe commissions don't worry, I'm gonna keep working on those despite taking a break on other stuff.

Well I just thought I would mention it here, I reopened three commission slots for this month so if you want me to draw you anything you can get to the commission journal on my main page and shoot me a note if you want.
Man I really do love taking commission, having money to take care of stuff by myself is nice but the real cool thing is just being able to partially shut off my brain and be to draw something someone tells me to draw than think about my own full idea, maybe that's me being lazy =w=;;

Oh man I just really wanted to say the fact that people took the commissions meant so much to me.
I was so nervous that people wouldn't take them, I was charging to much or my comics weren't really worth anything. I feel like I was constantly nagging some of my friends on FA about how much I should charge and how to work paypal and this stuff.

I just wanted to thank all of you guys. Thanks for taking the commissions! Thanks for talking to me and commenting on stuff! Thanks for everything!

I'm really enjoying working on these comics and I'll probably take commissions again soon after I finish this set, it's kind of nice to draw an idea someone else gives me to work on.

Okay I brought this up in the patreon questions journal but here it is again.
If I'm going to keep drawing here on FA with any frequency I'm going to have to do commissions from time to time. I have no money to get art, cleaning, or health supplies and I don't think I'll be able to juggle full time college, personal life, and drawing online if I throw a job into the mix.
I'm talking to a few pals to try and find out prices I'll set but more than likely after I finish these last two YCHs I'm going to set up some sort of commissions.
PLEASE feel free to tell me what you think about prices or anything else under this journal, I would love to hear from yall.

Alright, I'm not someone who desperately needs money or is crazy need so I never really considered doing commissions or art for money too much, every now and then I'd stick to the comic page for a game because those could be interesting.

But now that I've moved into the dorms I don't have the people around me helping and supporting me and I've found myself in a little bind. I have scholarships and grants that help me pay for classes,meals and books so I thought I would be fine...but as I've slowly started to realize I'm not. I'm not able to get a lot of the stuff I took for granted like toiletries and I don't have any way to wash my clothes.

So I wanted to ask the people following me, Do you think patreon would be a good idea?

If I did make one I would probably just upload stuff to there a day early before putting it everywhere else and post a few previews and sketches I wouldn't post anywhere else, nothing too big.

Since the first one with Omega ruby went well I want to do another ych raffle with my black team since I just played through that game again. I went back using pokemon I've never had in a team before so it's been pretty fun, both playing and doodling up these ychs.

I probably won't do something like this too much. I'm pretty awkward when it comes to asking for money or payment for things.

I'm so excited, my birthdays tomorrow so me and a few of my friends are heading to Orlando to check out universal studios, despite living so close I've only been there once, I only live a few hours away and I haven't been to Disney and the last time I went to islands of adventures or Universal studios was a middle school trip.

Gosh I had a great time ;w;
Spent time with family, went to DC, and even got to see snow for the first time in my life.
But I am glad to be back in my own home finally. Time to finish a comic and an art trade then catch up on some stuff.

I might pop in every now and then but I'm going to be taking a trip to visit some family tomorrow that I haven't seen in years so I most likely won't be on steam or here much for the next week. just thought I'd mention it
