Dragoneer | FA | Where to Find Me
Posted a year agoI am saddened by the news to hear of Dragoneer's passing, I too suffered from lung issues in 2020, a pulmonary embolism to be specific. It was a very scary experience and has since affected me considerably and has made me a bit paranoid about my health. While not the same thing Dragoneer had, the feeling remains the same with the sense of vulnerability and uncertainty especially in regards to the healthcare system.
FA is by far the site I am most active on and has all of my most updated work. It is where I first posted my digital artwork and shows a history of my development as an artist. That would be one of the greatest losses if FA ever ceases to be, that look into the development and history of my art. FA is also where I found the majority of my online friends in this fandom and where I still get the majority of my artwork commissions. I also really enjoy communicating with people the most on FA. The other sites I don't get much verbal feedback or communication, if at all. I will be very saddened if FA ever ends.
FA to this day has the best tagging system out of all the furry sites. DA is good too, but the 30 tag limit can be frustrating and I don't post explicit nsfw art there. InkBunny is, well... InkBunny. Not a great site but the tagging system is pretty good. SoFurry is just terrible with its tagging with how I need to manually add commas in between tags. Weasyl I have not updated since 2017, lol
The natural progression for tagging is FA > DA > IB > SF due to the tagging issue. Fortunately IB automatically adds commas so its relatively easy to copy+paste to SF. It's those little things that we take for granted that actually make posting art very convenient, but I digress.

End of Summer 2024
Posted a year agoAs per usual, I'm beginning my work-year very soon and likely won't have time for art for a while. Although I have been doing this for 10 years now since 2013 the first couple of weeks is always the hardest especially in establishing a consistent routine and making sense of any changes to rules or procedures in my profession. Needless to say, it's a very stressful time and it is difficult to relax and focus on art without a looming sense of dread on the horizon.
It's usually not as bad as I'm making it out to be and I'm sure once I get going with the routine everything will go well and I'll calm down, but the stress and anxiety remain nonetheless.
Naturally, my art consistency / speed will decrease as I adjust to the schedule. This will be most noticeable in the month of August as I'll be spending a lot of my time planning so I have more free time later. By September everything should be taken care of.
It's usually not as bad as I'm making it out to be and I'm sure once I get going with the routine everything will go well and I'll calm down, but the stress and anxiety remain nonetheless.

Traveling to Spain
Posted a year agoTraveling to Spain for two weeks with my family on June 8. I'm very excited as back in 2022 I had the opportunity to visit Italy, so now I can mark Spain off my list. Maybe eventually I'll have the opportunity visit other European countries.
Needless to say, I will be out of contact mostly until I return home June 20. I can still message on email, FA Notes, and Discord but it is dependent on wifi.

I will do my best to capture your character, however, I have a few simple rules:
1. You cannot request art from me if you are under 18.
By submitting your request you agree and confirm that you are 18+ years old.
2. Understand my drawing preferences: I would prefer to draw artistic nudity, for sake of time, but am alright with simple outfits (bikinis, swimsuits, underwear, tribal, form fitting clothing, 1-5 articles of clothing, etc.), SFW nudity (no visible bits), or convenient censoring.
3. I cannot guarantee that I will draw every character submitted and is ultimately up to my discretion.
I decide who is chosen from a wheel-of-names raffle. I usually try to draw around 4-6 per batch. Anyone not chosen is carried over to the next batch.

Hyped for 2019 Chicago!
If you've never been to a Star Wars convention I highly recommend it for any fan of the series / media, but especially if you're in a costuming charity group.
