I'M BAACK!!!!
Posted 16 years agoYes that's right I'm back. Came back around 11 pm last night. Everything was a blast over at Niagara falls.
First it was a pain because the drive was 6 hours. Sitting in a car that long and not moving,you start to notice that your legs are going numb. When we actually got near the hotel we were staying in there were plenty of construction on the road, the roads where closed. So after half an hour of driving around not knowing where the heck anything was. We finally find the hotel. We finally get into the hotel, we find that our view is..the parking lot. but the pillows were heaven.
Then we got to the falls. Beautiful. Simple as that. We walked over the entire island and it was great. The only thing was that the horseshoe falls smelled like dead fish. The only wildlife I saw were seagulls (lots of them) and squirrels, black and brown. Speaking of the little brown squirrels, when we were walking back to the hotel, we saw a little brown squirrel chasing his tail. He climbed up a tree a bit, then just flipped back down to the ground. Then once on the ground he would pause, then start to do summersaults. It went on for a good 5 minutes. It was hilarious.
The next day it was the maid of the mist, Cave of the winds. Maid of the mist was a boat ride towards the falls, where, of course, you go down to the water and you get wet from the mist. The cave of the winds, you get more wet. You walk up platforms near the falls, and you get drenched on the waterfalls. It was fun..and cold. Well, you get a poncho and sandals. There is also a top of the entire platform called the hurricane deck..It feels like a hurricane. I was going up there to pose for a picture, the wind screwed with my poncho hood, I pulled it down and ended up drenched by a big wave of water ^-^''. We also went to the aquarium, that wasn't as spectacular, it was basically a tiny little thing that had an elementary school field trip or something because there were about a hundred screaming little kids in there at once (I don't like kids). We also went to the Buffalo Zoo. That was pretty interesting. It had a bunch of different animals. But it still had another field trip, this time with another elementary school. And that was screaming. ><. Basically 10 kids were screaming out Simba and Nala's name from Lion king when we got to the lions, and that wasn't even their names. Reptile house was just as bad. A little girl kept screaming "Wake Up" at the top of her lungs at a giant reticulated python when it WAS actually awake. And there was a teacher or parent or guardian that told of a story, to a kid, of her driving a bus and running over a giant snake. T.T.
After all of that, the last day we went to the Corning museum of glass. I'll give you a tip, if you have a hotel saved up and you have a chance to cancel, don't cancel! It's a large museum. MY mom and I didn't know it was that large when we first saw it. But you can only take so much glass. We ended up going home early because we canceled our hotel, and we just drove home. We found it to be only 2 hours away from our house. Plus, it's a beautiful drive. There's a lot of trees, and not many houses, very nice; we're thinking of going back during the fall.
Well, that's all. ^-^
P.S. Oh, I got a plush Eagle Sting Ray from the Aquarium. I call him Infamous Heart Throb. ^-^

Update
Posted 16 years agoMax, my sister's dog that ran away 2 days ago, came back today. He was on the porch, ready for food. ^-^
Also, I have to get permission from my dad to go to Otakon (I'm not sure if he will let me or not, since I will be alone). If I am allowed to go, I don't know what to sell there...^-^'' I am selling my Joshua picture at the Auction, also, you might see Akumu there as well (I might just make a totally new picture with him in it because I don't like any of the ones I have; I'm a perfectionist)
So....Yea...Only a few more hours 'till graduation...Yay?? XD

Going Away
Posted 16 years agoI'm doing this now just in case if I can't do it tomorrow.
I will be away for a week because I'll be in Niagara falls. I can't wait. So, I might not be able to receive requests if you note me, if you message me I won't get back to them straight away. (but, I might because we will have internet over there). And, of course, I'll tell ya' all about it when I get back.
Also, I will be graduating tomorrow, that is the reason for the vacation. Then, in a few weeks after I get back I will be going to an anime convention in Baltimore, Otakon. I will be going as Pain from Naruto. Also, I will be going with Zia, Mystik, and Kya.
P.S. For anyone that lives in pennsylvania, near elmwood (I think) at least near Winding hill road. My sister's dog is missing. His name is Max. He has short red hair, a hound, floppy ears, and if you want a specific breed, He's a red bone Coon Hound. It's been at least 24 hours since he's been gone. And no one has seen a running dog. We're all worried..I'll keep you guys informed on that as well..

WTF??!?! OMG!!
Posted 16 years agoYesturday was the absolute WORST library experience of my life..*shivers*
WARNING:If you get paranoid very easily and cannot handle bug stories, then do not read the rest of the journal. Parental Guidence suggested.
If you are still reading this...I warned you...
Yesturday I walked to the library. About a 20 minute walk, no problem. I was looking for two books, BoneChiller and The Hollow: Horseman. When I got there I went in and asked if they had the books. They looked them up on their computer and told me they didn't. It was around 7 pm. And I didn't feel like walking the rest of the way back, so I called my mom to pick me up. I waited on a bench, for a good 5 minutes. Then I feel a bug on my arm. I slightly freaked out and swipped it away. I walked down to the front and then sat on the sidewalk and waited the rest of the time. When my mom does come (five minutes later). I get in the car and a just a few minutes pass and I feel something on my chin. I check it out and it was a tick. My mom stops the car and I immediately jump out and I jump around to get whatever else was on me. My mom found 2 more ticks on my shirt on each of my shoulders, I found two on my one pant leg. Then we keep finding more, never ending ticks. They were all on my shirt and pants. When we get home I immediately get my clothes off and put different ones back on. Then I find more ticks on myeself; one on my rib, and another on my thigh. My mom goes through the clothes and we end up burning 8 ticks. We don't know how much were actually there (I'm thinking 10-20 altogether). I call the library and warn them about the bench I was on. And we end up putting my 2 pairs of clothes in a bag and outside (the second pair of clothes was because I didn't feel clean so I scrubbed myself clean and got a third pair of clothes.)
Now it's the second day and I'm over the borderline paranoid. I hate bugs but, that's a huge amount at once. (even spiders don't seem that bad now).
I didn't walk through tall grass, they couldn't have just fallen off a tree because they would have easily gotten to my head (none of them bit into me, thank goodness). I don't know what happend but it did, and now I can't do anything without looking around.

Hi ALL!!
Posted 16 years agoThis is just an update on what is happening at the moment..FAP is getting done nicely (with a few bumps here and there). I got an animation program and I'm just playing with it at the moment (kinda figured out stuff, but I'm not sure how to make a character move yet). Corel Painter is on backorder (I want it!!). My dad found a new charger for my laptop.So, I'll be getting my technology back soon. *hearts flutter* So, GateKat..I'M SO SORRY for the long time taking for the request (YOU'RE SO PATIENT!!). I can't wait soon I'll be able to animate (nicely, not like right now where it looks like total crap X.x) and then I'll have Corel programs and adobe programs at my fingertips. *more hearts flutter*
And you might see an odd picture from me in a couple of days or so (depends on when I get either my laptop back or corel painter back), but I'll have a reason for it. And NO ONE knows about it yet, not even my closest friends (due to the large amount of questions I will recieve, so they have to wait for the actual explanation)
LOVE YOU ALL!! ^-^ Thanks for being patient with me..
I give you Ice Cream with a cherry on top!!
-oCC> There ya go!

Posted 16 years agoHere's the deal:
I have a F.A.P (Final Assessment Project) that is due in two weeks (May 18th). Well, our assignment was to make a cube (I made mine out of wood) that shows your personality. I did it on 6 of my characters because everytime I make a character he/she either has a part of my personality or the exact opposite version of my personality.
Well, I started with my one character, Sune-ku, on Corel Painter (which I love now) and I had a process of 1 step forward 2 steps back. Well, now I'm finished with that one and I move on to another character of mine named Ryu.
Here's my dilemma..I found out 1 character=1 week. I don't have that many weeks left, and I still need to finish 3 characters (some of mine I have already painted on photoshop, I just need to touch them up). And then I had the brilliant idea of going "Oh, I can work on them at home on my photoshop." Now, here's where the fun part is: My sweet laptop (that I recently put all of my favorite music on) cannot live 15 minutes without the battery plugged-in. (I kinda left it in for too long, so now it's like that). It's been great for a year or so, almost two. But now, RIGHT NOW!! It has the wonderful decision of dying on me in the only month that I truely need it..I don't have corel painter at my house, my regular computer (the one I'm typing on now) doesn't have any art programs on it. And my mom saw how I was fiddling around with it a few days ago and she said she couldn't get one immediately. So, no new one for now..T.T
I could get my brother-in-law (a.k.a computer wiz), to get me a new one ( he might have like 5 of them in storage somewhere, I remember him saying he could get one that is cheap).
But basically my life is on my laptop and my laptop just died..
I'm going to frustrated for a couple days now..Time to speed paint..>.<
*slams head on desk and waves bye to everyone*
P.S. X-Men Origins: Wolverine- Kicked ASS!! (Sabertooth is awesome!)

Protect the one you love..Update
Posted 16 years agoAs you may, or may not, know "Protect the one you love" is a name for a picture that is in my gallery. I did that picture completely on Adobe Illustrator for a class grade. Well, I'm suprised that it got so popular in my school. It has already been in 2 galleries around my town and there's another coming up soon...That I am able to sell it too. ^_^ *so happy*. I even asked what the picture would normally be priced. She said: $25-$40. I went with $30. I'm hoping someone buys it. We'll just wait and see..

So this is how the requests are going to come down:
~~~
3) BlueHart: Request-His character with another
Posted 16 years agoI believe this to be begging but..
PLEASE! PLEASE!! I do requests! I need something to do! If you want cute..I CAN DO THAT!! I'm running out of ideas..and it's all getting repetitive over at this end...
ANYWAY...I'm open on everything..
Just don't make me draw anything perverted (I don't do that).Reptile show
Posted 16 years agoOk, like the title says: I went to a Reptile show today. And it was awesome! Even though I didn't buy a snake or anything there, it was really neat to see all the different animals there (not just reptiles).
First it started off as trying to get a parking space. It was 9 am and it was already packed to the point of a line being from the door to the beginning of the parking lot. So, we went to the visitors parking space of an apartment home for the elderly..XD. And when we went to cross the road all I hear is: "Hey, watch out there's black-" Before I slipped on what "seemed" like a puddle in the middle of the entering of the apartment home parking lot, that was actually black ice I slipped on. I got a good bruise on my bottom because of that. Then when we actually got to the building, we had to wait in the line, for an hour. But when we waited, we saw a hearse come up and try to find a parking space (the building holding the show was squat in the middle of a cemetery) but come to find out that the hearse was just some ones car (the cobra detail on the front kinda gave it away XD). When we finally got into the building, it was chaos..People everywhere, in the tiny little spaces of the building, just everywhere. Then, we looked around. Tons of snakes, lizards, amphibians, tarantulas, scorpions, venomous snakes, even baby gators were there.
It was only a bit since we got into the building when I hear this audience-group "Ohh" When all the lights went out..Apparently it was THAT much of a fire hazard in that place.
We walked around, and around, and around, saw a bunch of different kinds of reptiles, and a lot of them were the same. Plenty of Duremil Boas (my lovely Masquerade snake). Rainbow Boas. Pythons. But when I thought I saw just about everything, I saw the most beautiful snake. It was a cobra, it wasn't albino, it couldn't have been, it was as white as snow, it didn't have pink eyes, no little yellow marks to know that it is albino, this was WHITE and the best part was is that it even was up with it's hood when I saw it. *whistles* simply beautiful. *thinking of picture to draw* Also there was huge freakin' vipers beside the cobra, their head was about as big as my fist (maybe bigger)
We only spent about 2 hours there and decided to not come back to that specific one again (too many people know about it). But, as I was leaving I saw this guy with a tub of only 2 little gators in it. One was older than the other, it was pretty obvious. Then, one guy picked it up and gave it to his girlfriend to hold. I picked up the smaller one and held it, then the seller said that the smaller one that I was holding was missing a foot. And it was right, his bottom left foot was missing, his leg just ended in a stump. And his head was bigger than his body, he was ADORABLE. He was so tame, it was so cool to hold something you never get to hold very often.
Hurrah for a wonderful day!! (besides the chilly February weather)
First it started off as trying to get a parking space. It was 9 am and it was already packed to the point of a line being from the door to the beginning of the parking lot. So, we went to the visitors parking space of an apartment home for the elderly..XD. And when we went to cross the road all I hear is: "Hey, watch out there's black-" Before I slipped on what "seemed" like a puddle in the middle of the entering of the apartment home parking lot, that was actually black ice I slipped on. I got a good bruise on my bottom because of that. Then when we actually got to the building, we had to wait in the line, for an hour. 100 mph sneeze hurts..
Posted 16 years agoI'm (kinda) doing a thing for a slow down week from drawing and going back to the photoshop pictures that I haven't finished yet. But, I ran into a bump in the road..I got sick, or have allergies. And it hit me like a ton of bricks.
Sneezes, runny nose, head burns.
So, for now, I'm waiting this out until I feel up to it to start and finish another picture, then after I finish that I should have one more that I'm doing for myself only. After those two, I will be creating new pictures..If I get inspiration. (I do have a peaceful picture in my head, but I'm not telling anyone until it's up and done, if I decide to draw it..)
~C'ya folks, hope for warmth!~
