FC 24 day 2 Summary-work for swag!
General | Posted 2 years agoAfter seeing that there are two tiers for if you meet 12 and 18 hours of volunteering, I do want to get these things that are practically reward swag for volunteering! At least I put in 6.5 hours of volunteer time to hopefully get closer to 18. That 30 minutes, I put in as the me being the last one leaving the con store so to organize, order and clean the space. The good thing here is that I had the opportunity to have some downtime to explore some fursuit constructors that were at the Dealer's Den to see who can help me get a new head for Cory, and there were some good ones like
Lemonbrat, and I get to have their cards, and to believe that they also have glasses for fursuit heads as well. I did get 6 cards at least. It won't be just Cory, but I can see if Alfred and even possibly Ashley can be put to life as well!
Well, I did attend only one panel, and it is for how to have commonality and grouping in the FF'dom, and it is a bit more deeper than being friends, but how to be roomates, how to deal with conficts sharing more friendly intimate times with a companion furry, and to put more value in the FF'dom by making a difference bay finding a grater good. It is clear that when some do band together, they can be like acquaintances, but can be in a deeper way if you do maintain such furry characteristics. It is important to know that if it is that you do have a 24-7-365.24 with another, you may evolve to cause better things in the community. Keep this in mind. Though this is a paraphrase, you will want to see this in an upcoming con-do look for it upcoming in FWA and Anthrocon.
I have been dancing, but I can tell you, even if you do have volunteering, it can take its toll, so after seeing my pee being very yellow, PLEASE ALWAYS HYDRATE-DO NOT IGNORE YOUR PEE WHEN YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM! Urine this yellow is a warning sign that you're dehydrated, and you should keep drinking water! I did regret bringing a long-sleeve shirt while doing the con store, but even if you are in a con that is in the winter, do get SHORT SLEEVE so you can not get dehydrated easily. Always have a backup in hand.
Well, I did dance, but after the music got a bit too loud, I did quit to do uploads, and this journal. I am still happy that the con is going well, and I hope to see what happens next. I hope to go see the Fursuit Parade and FC Dance Comp. I will be at the con store less that day for these, but I hope to get that swag in another way, and I can't wait to show it when I get my new fursuit head of Cory soon! Best of luck to me, and for those looking at this journal, it's night, and I wish you all a good night. See you...

FC 24 day 1 summary (belated)+autobios of mascots
General | Posted 2 years agoWell hi everyone, so far something all right as of Thursday, it wasn't too much going on, but I got the few things learned there. Here in, I got to learn while volunteering and it's code of conduct. Con ops will work primarily the regulation but, for more serious matters, it is FLARE. There was a question of what's FLARE means - but I do not know- IT'S SECRET. I would have arrived earlier, but I had banking and cleaning up to do. I missed a panel! đŸ˜“ Oh well. However, there will be other chances. Since I saw and heard that it was year 25 of the con, sentimentally, for this me volunteering is a thing I SHOULD do after attending the past 10 FC sessions-disregarding the 2 COVID-19 cancellations. So this is a LOT of milestones for 2024, and me being 40 now. I did take many pics for the first day, and it was a fun beginning for me. Yes, already, I got 12 pics in of fursuiters! There will be more coming up, and I hope you enjoy, and do note, of course for
Beryll, having the first-ever fursuit of him: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55134927/ , he does not have any fursuit photos of him on his account here! He can finally get recognition as fursuiter! It is the reason why I take fursuit photos up here-to show they are new, or updated. So fursuit fans, I hope you appreciate what I do, and ahead of time, thank you for for the likes and comments on my uploads!
Up next Day 2-yes, I have volunteered most of the day, but I hope for fun squished in- if you want to know what I'm doing right now while I wrote this journal, I am listening to
CassidytheCivet singing at the Marriott. After, I will be back at the Con Store.
And here is a fact about the con-just today, they have names for the animals in the logo! The cat is a female named Clara (Named after Santa Clara in both city and county.) The dog (or wolf) is named Berkeley (After the city in Alameda County, notably, because UC Berkeley has a little bit of influence on the con [ https://www.berkeley.edu ] and the company that has supplied for many years to FC, Games of Berkeley: https://www.gamesofberkeley.com/ ) and the dragon is Almaden (Named after the Street AND THE BOULEVARD where the conference is situated along.) If you see the con book, they have been drawn furrified! If you ever have the conbook, go see in it for the "autobiographies" of them- they would be great for anyone who would want to draw them!

And so, we're free to see "Steamboat Willie"
General | Posted 2 years agoHappy New Year to everyone-EXCEPT DISNEY in some way. Although you can see it online on their website: https://video.disney.com/watch/stea.....b375f7476ada2c , by what the US copyright law is saying, despite of extensions, anything that is of 95 years old or more can now be in public domain. As we can see the noticeable whistling of Mickey Mouse when we do see the bumper of Walt Disney Animation Studios, that noticeable whistle from Mickey and the earlier concept of him, along with a short time of seeing Minnie can now be posted WITHOUT penalty. In addition, anyone who can come up with the drawing of these two mice in the draw of the earlier concept can not be under copyright infringement. As we do see in the Australian news from the Nine Network ( https://www.nine.com.au/ ), you can reuse, but you CAN'T trademark the two.
Here is what the 9 Network says:
https://youtu.be/qeAaPGmu5w4
As there is a difference between copyright and trademark, trademarking is something that is true to the identity of a character, so it will be forever that Steamboat Willie's first draw of Mickey and Minnie are still synonym to Disney, but what trademark does not cover is how THEY ARE DRAWN. Therefore, if you draw just like the 1928 versions of the Disney mice, the company will have no say on the matter.
So then if you do see this below on YouTube and you repost to put it on your blog or public journal, Instagram or anyplace else, YOU ARE SAFE-US law will not attack you. So then let us see for the fullest, Walt E. Disney's first ever draw of his mice on "Steamboat Willie," uploaded by this user- https://www.youtube.com/@natenkerman9868 (Yes, you will have to GO to the site.):
https://youtu.be/7280RE_T530
Though it actually says 1929 on the intro, it is actually 1928 that it was done. Of course, when you see the Nine News vid above, yes, Pooh was reformed, and A.A. Milne's estate can't do anything about it. I have heard that soon, more characters will follow- there will be Tarzan, Sherlock Holmes and many more that will be duplicated by anyone in the US, but it can be done in other countries as well.
Even though it can be stored in museums, national archives, company archives and even government-regulated curations, they can't stop others from making duplicates.
Do keep in mind of these things when it comes to your arts many years ahead in the future. If it is for selling, it is going to be duplicated for 95 years down the line. Of course there can be exceptions-extremely for example, the Mona Lisa at The Louvre, but it is the mantra of "nothing lasts forever"- copyright like what has happened to "Steamboat Willie" right now is an example we should look at. So although you could be making money now and have your draws, sculptures and even movies be you and you have control of them when you LIVE, after your time is up and you are either dust or 6 feet under, it will be a matter of time that whatever you have made will be for anyone to duplicate and alter to put into their media without penalty and without any required reference (opposite is plagiarism) that they have to do in the future. If you have a trust or estate, their time is limited as well in controlling such property. KEEP IN MIND OF THAT....

Going to FC! (Volunteer & Cory fursuit-Journal 2/3)
General | Posted 2 years agoI already put my enrollment in for my admission to Further Confusion! If you are expecting me to be involved in the social space to chat with you or to take pictures of fursuiters, well this time as I will have to volunteer, I will put less time on that to hopefully put something useful on my resume. It is expected that I will see some of the same things in panels when I go there, and I don't really have much active friends in the FF'dom talking to me outside of FurCon, but as it will be that I will have that opportunity to become useful in running a part of FC, it can be a benefit for me to go ahead and actually volunteer for about 3 hours a day, and I can do so on the most active days of FC-with that being said, I was admitted for free! Of course, I will put my responsibility in, and I will devote my time to making the con streamlined as possible.
Where I will be putting my time? It will be in the con store. I was tetter-tottering between being there, HR and facilites, but I think with my master's degree in accounting, I think this would be the best thing for me, and if it is to log in balances in having to deal with FIFO, LIFO, selling averages, or constant sales, I will be ready for that in order to balance the books if needed, especially to have COGS to know our assets and equity changes as well. ( Of course, if this jargon is like you are in Greece, you would have to look at here: https://www.accounting.com/resource.....ounting-terms/ .) So this can ready me to advance my career, if needed, and hope the HR in the field I go to will like what I do despite of me having to declare that I am a furry.
Well, if you are going to see if Cory is going to be at FurCon, it is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY that he will come. It is that incident where I put Cory's head while cleaning on bare wood and the wood oils got into the damp fur while I set it out to dry. I will give it one last chance, but I think this will be a loss likely as this is very hard to get off-I even had a last ditch effort to go to a dry cleaner to have him be cleaned, and after going to 4 of them, they say they won't do-it is very hard to do, and risky. I'll give it one more shot as Cory's face is the most affected, and if I can use perhaps acetone, bleach or anything that can save him, it will be a miracle for his white fur from
RumWolf creations. It will be a little bashing on him, but a couple of times, I have contacted him to take my fursuit head to refurbish and/or clean, but he has refused to answer, and I even wished him condolences to his lover passing and happy holidays last year to get his attention, he has not responded. Therefore, it would seem that if he has ghosted me, I won't do business with him. (Yeah, sorry to bring this up, but that was something that was frustrating in the past year. Can't really be loyal to one that has thrown me under the bus after he made me his creation of my fursona to come to life.) So giving this one last shot, but if nothing is successful, I guess I'll have to throw Cory away and he'll be decapitated. (No, I will not bring the other parts with me-I'm not THAT crazy!)
So if it is that you will want to see me and it is the first time, I guess I'll announce my wear here. I don't have X(Twitter) anymore, and I have no Bluesky or Mammoth now. Anyhow, I still have fursuit pics to post from last year, but I'd better do it soon before the next FC comes. Once the schedule comes out on here: https://furtherconfusion.org/programming/schedule/ , I will set my times for volunteering, and if you want to have me over or have me take you to a meal, I will gladly do if it is within my own schedule. In the meantime, I will be happy to wait a month (31 days!) until the con starts. I will once again be off San Jose, but I hope to enjoy the experience to be part of the nonprofit staff to have Furcon great for EVERYONE in attendance. Hope I do a good job, and if you know my brown colored me, and we're mutual friends here on FA or in the past on X/Twitter, or even share a link on Discord, Ferzu or even Telegram, don't fret in saying hi to me! I hope to see you then....

The next journal of today is a explanation of who Siskel and Ebert are, how I rate movies, and upcoming movies I will see-I have a list set up, and I will ask if you like my ratings. My rating for "Strange World" (2022)-Journal 1/3
General | Posted 2 years agoSiskel & Ebert: Split thumbs-Siskel would give up, Ebert would give down
Former ISU rating scale: 4.4/6
Grade: C
This movie would be a combination of Moana, Zootopia, Fantastic Voyage and even Osmosis Jones in here, but I can think that an episode of "The Stone Protectors" and/or "Digimon: Tamers" on TV would fit in here. Put them together, and you've got-A DISAPPOINTING, CONFUSING MOVIE.
I was reluctant to go and see as there were some feelings that this movie was not going to be good, but it did pique my interest as it was, I can admit, better than Chicken Little, but not by much. It would seem that when one does see the second half of the movie, and one notices Avalonia, it would not be fitting for what Earth would be. I would have thought WALL-E was clear enough about what it should be for Earth in reality than this one when it starts to gel in your mind if you sleep on it.
Of course, if it is that one does think and thinks too much about the movie, and if it were that children do have advanced minds on their learning abilities (and some are starting to learn faster at an early age!), they would think that this is not feasable. For furries, this movie would be a little bit to the interest of
Vore-Furs as there was one vore scene of a pink pterodactyl-looking creature, but I feel we should be more oriented with the BIG area for us to enjoy vore overall as there was the one place where there is acid.
Overall, I would have thought that this was earth that there were referring to, but to relate to how it can be in reality, invasive species can be detrimental to the ecosystem can hurt MANY beings on the planet, and there are some that we do not know about that look harmless, but if left unchecked, they could ransack like a parasite behind our back (no pun intended when you see the end). We can see that then, the antagonist that we were looking for is not a moving being, but the aformentioned parasite that we would say to us in ecological symbiosis, "commensalite."
Disney put a big gamble in putting in LGBTQIA+ here, and it was just a small trace of the overall story, but in some case, although it is starting to be widely accepted, it may not be needed, and I could figure that it could hurt Disney as there are the Islamic places that could shun the whole movie altogether, especially Iran if it ever goes there.
There were so many things that would not be out of line, like the dog Ledgend trying to open the door, but Splat can do it, them not knowing about the being they are on in the first place and there would not be any recollection of a large flood, or having potential quakes or a sound from the turtle/tortise. And what about then, how did they get on there when you see the ending, a shrink ray?? And how then did they get the technology to get hover materials in the first place?
When one does see the so-called immune system and other "Beings" you would of imagine the attacking cells would be macrophages, but they would have made them more realistic, and it should have been a little like Osmosis Jones and we could have understood Splat better to know what the people would go through.
I know the action was good, but when you see the overall plot, you'd be confused. I could have thought they would have done a much better job having to make this clearer and to have all of the humans be more aware of what they are living on, and it is a span of nearly 30 years?? Something bad would have happened within that timespan. The characters were not really memorable, and the mostly CGI designs of the people would be a bit unreal. If it were that there would be the man watching the movie as a rating if you ever see the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper's entertainment division ( https://www.sfchronicle.com/ picture: https://i0.wp.com/www.americantheatre.org/wp-content/uploads/chronicle-little-man.png?w=403&ssl=1 ), he would be quietly sitting down, but to me, he would be a bit of a mope, but not like sleeping. I would not get this to my collection. To put it worse, as I have seen this on the death day of Walt Disney (Dec. 15, 1966), he would not be pleased, and if he does have that "rolling in his grave" mentality, he would do so a bit.
So this does make me keep up to date with all the Disney Animation Studios movies that I have ever seen, and there are 62 now on its 100th anniversary of its existence. Well for me to see Strange World this late in its anniversary, I wished I saw Wish first so to me, their anniversary to my eyes would end delightfully, but it did not at all-I did not sleep well, I hardly got positive vibes from it, and I will eventually forget this-quite a waste of time to me. This does explain how I ranked the movie:
62: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1 star- !PUKE)
61: Treasure Planet (2 stars)
60: Saludos Amigos (1 star, but deserves better.)
59: Atlantis: The Lost Empire (From here it is 2 stars, definitely.)
58: The Emperor's New Groove
57: Melody Time
56: The Rescuers Down Under (1990 sequel)
55: Meet the Robinsons
54: The Great Mouse Detective
53: Chicken Little
52: Dinosaur (From here it is 3 stars and would likely want to get in my collection.)
51: Fantasia 2000
49: Lilo & Stitch
48: The Sword in the Stone
47: Fun and Fancy Free
46: Oliver & Company
45: Pocahontas
44: The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad (From here it is 4 stars.)
43: Hercules
42: Home on the Range
41: 101 Dalmatians
40: The Black Cauldron
39: The Rescuers (1977)
38: Cinderella
37: The Little Mermaid
36: Fantasia (1940)
35: The Aristocats
34: Moana
33: Robin Hood
32: Tangled
31: The Fox and the Hound
30: Alice in Wonderland
29: Frozen II
28: Wreck-it Ralph
27: Aladdin
26: Big Hero 6
25: Ralph Breaks the Internet" (Wreck-it Ralph 2)
24: Encanto
22: Mulan
22: Raya and the Last Dragon
21: Make Mine Music (From here it is 5 stars. The very best!)
20: Peter Pan
19: Dumbo
18: The Jungle Book
17: The Princess and the Frog
16: Pinocchio
15. Frozen
14: Tarzan
13: Sleeping Beauty
12: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)
11: Bolt
10: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
9: Brother Bear
8: The Three Caballeros
7: Winnie the Pooh (2011)
6: Bambi
5: Beauty and the Beast
4: Zootopia / Zootropolis
3: Wish
2: Lady and the Tramp
THE BEST ONE: The Lion King
Although I did say "LIKELY" to put in my collection, it is not a done deal that I will take it, but by how you see my rating, it is likely not going to happen, and my posterity will not have it if they depend on me on buying, but this is not worth watching again, and I'd throw it in the trash if they would not want to watch the movie anymore-under me, it is not worth reselling, donating or be put in the Little Free Library booth. ( https://littlefreelibrary.org/ )
Did they get this idea from a notable Kia commercial in 2020??: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Med64mqAb5c

Did they get this idea from a notable Kia commercial in 2020??: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Med64mqAb5c
My rating for "Wish" (2023)
General | Posted 2 years agoSiskel & Ebert: Two thumbs WAY up!
Former ISU rating scale: 6/6
Grade: A+
Disney has never let me down in most of the movies I've watched!! Now I'll have to try to illegally copy the movie so I can have it forever! (Yes, saw this one in a cinema.)
I will gladly say that when I heard of this one, I was not too enthralled about its release, but to think that when one looks at it, you can't help but love the storyline. It is a problem that would not have been a problem, but if the knowledge that really you can't have wishes come true by another being, one must do it themselves, but to have the wish given but never granted because it is forgotten, that does sound selfish even though we can see that the kingdom King Magnifico makes it all perfect for anyone to live in. It would signify that even if a place is all peaceful and gives such a panacea to all its residents, there's always some sort of weakness in its strengths. We could see that when Asha does have a wish to make accidentally and see the dark side of Magnifico, it is clear enough that he is a villain to have that he does not want wishes to be built upon if he does not want to grant wishes like a genie.
Now yes, GENIE. Would that remind you of something-yes, Genie from Aladdin! It is quite funny that one would see some Easter eggs in this movie-there are countless, and at some point, you will see the Disney logo! I will name a few-there's a horse from Tangled, Bambi was referenced several times, there was a little bit of Robin Hood as there's John the bear (well a tiny bit of Brother Bear as well...), Beauty and the Beast can be subtly be added here-look for the dress! The mushrooms can remind you of Fantasia (1940). Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was in the apprentice party and all of them have the same beginning letters of the first name of the dwarves in the movie. Also, the castle does have a little bit of the crown of Grimhilde at the cupola when opened, and mirrors are referenced for vainness... The magic wand can give a nod to Cinderella and there is someone saying about a fairy godmother; Valentino the goat gets to talk here, but listen carefully, he said a direct reference to Zootopia! The intro or end logo of the castle for Disney has something from The Lion King and Frozen 1 & 2-LOOK SHARP! Do though stay for the credits, there are many characters from the past movies put on as star constellations. There can be more Easter eggs and references that I might miss in this movie, but wow, it is quite fun and funny to locate and notice them! This movie can make you play a game on how many references and Easter eggs you can find, and it is fun to do so if you are able to see all the Disney movies before Wish (The last one before is Strange World.)
One can imagine that the movie is original and that it does encapsulate the magic of Disney-make a wish and even if it is not the way it is supposed to be in reality, it can come true if you gather all the ideas, plans and learn how to make that wish become reality. Disney is 100 years old, and they have had a great reputation of entertaining everyone, and I can say that they have not failed me in all their operations since 1923-this movie was well done to my eyes. WELL CONTRASTING, I do not get what the critics say on Rotten Tomatoes as to me, this was a masterpiece. From their website, they say that the movie is spoiled- 48% positive on the tomatometer! : https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/wish_2023 . Of course there is magic here in the movie, and it does demonstrate that what you have as a goal, it will be magically real. I would have thought the movie would be for best animated picture, but by what I read, it may not happen, and it can be a flop as the box office profit is close to half of the production budget as of now.
I'm ignoring those things, and it is great for my psyche to see. I was smiling from the beginning, had plenty of laughs, and became enamoured with the trials, tribulations and solutions attained in the storyline. Really, even though the naysayers put it down, I LOVED IT. To me, it would be rating high on my list of Disney movies I have seen-so without further ado, here is the list:
61: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1 star)

My rating for "Raya & The Last Dragon" (2021)
General | Posted 2 years agoSiskel & Ebert: Two thumbs up
Former ISU rating scale: 5.4/6
Grade: B+
Whenever I would see something like this, I would imagine that the setting would be similar to what cultures you would find in these countries: China (I can include Taiwan here.), Nepal, Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. Although you can say that the storyline is similar to Mulan, still with the aspect of a deep history of how a breakup of Kumandra. Well, would you say that this is similar to how perhaps some places that would have been under imperial rule would sensibly return to their original lands, like China regaining Macau and Hong Kong, or USA giving back Panama the canal? That would be what I would think. This story would reflect that as we do have to see such differences and find a common ground to regain relations.
Truly, as the ASEAN ( https://asean.org/ ) countries would be a primary influence on the story, it does have the overall way of entertaining what Disney is starting to do, have more international flavor and multiculturality. In the case of R&tLD, they would show that we do have our ideas, morals, and beliefs, but we should have an overall vision about how life should be.
In RL, it is tough; it is going to be VERY hard for furries and humans to trust another being without conditions. We will all be backstabbed, cheated, lied and hurt by bad experiences, but as the movie is trying to tell us, there is always a good in one another. If we could all be like that and have the idea of the song by John Lennon's "Imagine", "the world will be as one" as he sang in his last words. Sisu is throughout the movie is relaying everyone to follow that mantra.
Despite that the movie is like Mulan, but it is more lighter despite a very similar culture, I was entertained throughout as Raya has her goal to try and save her father from permanently being stoned by the Drunn, but truly, the whole goal of hers is to reunite Kumandra, and to see that others she has met, especially Sisu-to have that fate to get everyone including the dragon family out of petrification, to have less hate in the world they live in. I can see that at the points when Raya and Sisu have to meet other lands, they should look at what is important to all and to have such plans to get everyone to be free from the Drunn once and for all.
It can have some hint of Brother Bear as there is not really an enemy to talk to (Denahi in Brother Bear is not really one, he does not know. Though you can say Namaari...), but the difference here is that for this one, they all have something, and the leaders are reluctant to unite for a cause, and to also put into perspective, trust is/alliances are not made. It can whittle down to greed, anger and other 7 deadly sins, like envy. The land of Spine is the most humble of them all and it made sense to have the sole survivor of the land be the one most likely to be more sy(e)mpathtic of Raya and Sisu. However, it is clear that everyone lost something, and they should have that mentality to feel for themselves AND others to live happily in the end. Something that Namaari, a friend of Raya and eventually Sisu, BUT BECAME TRATOROUS, had to learn a bit emotionally.
I can feel that if it ever has to be Sisu being human, then that power she has is fabulous! It would be something you would see sometimes in the daily comic strip, Sherman's Lagoon by Jim Toomey: https://www.gocomics.com/shermanslagoon . I would have to laugh at the boater and chef named Boun at the point when he brings up "credit!" Me having a background in business accounting, the first thing that comes to mind, is a credit card! BUT, as there's balancing the books and T-accounts with "DEBITOR (Dr.)" and "CREDITOR (Cr.)", having to have a promise to pay back can work in business, and if only Sisu wasn't in Talon, she would really be paying back the planned gifts she would be buying! That place wants money NOW AND ON THE SPOT. And I will admit, despite Raya at Spine telling her to not be dragon, it was perfect to have her show her real self when Raya was in trouble with Namaari. To also see that that Namaari really was a friend not foe, it does come to fruition that there is still the belief that people do have things they never meant to do, and they do have at times, regrets-some can be severely painful-even when she was the cause of Sisu's death, and is responsible of redeeming herself.(SPOILER!) And it was interesting at the beginning of how Sisu came to be-of course, she is a water dragon, but do note of how water DEFIES GRAVITY when it comes to the orb initially at Heart, and when her whole self was at Tail.
It is truly a thing to see at a theatre, but UGH, as COVID was the cause of limited admission to the cinemas, we could not see what Awkwafina's movie of her similar cultures she had, as she did voice Sisu very well, and sentimentally, it would be something of her "home hemisphere" despite that she was born in Long Island, NY. I would not discount that movie anymore, but truly, it is something that I would like to have in my collection of Disney animated movies I have watched. NOW I HAVE WATCHED 60! And though the movie was primarily made for more profit for the company, I would be certain that the FF'dom and many others who like such Oriental-based stories would love to see again and again. Disney has not failed me here!
And so, here is the update on the movies I have seen, and where Raya & The Last Dragon will rank:
60: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1 star)
59: Treasure Planet (2 stars)
58: Saludos Amigos (1 star, but deserves better.)
57: Atlantis: The Lost Empire (From here it is 2 stars, definitely.)

NO THIS IS NOT A MISTYPE! I will have to note, for Mulan, Encanto and Raya, I cannot really say which one is the best, but I could say tie of Raya and Mulan because of the similar storyline. Though Mulan is a bit darker than Raya, there are things that would balance each other out and make both movies equal to each other.

YES, R&tLD WOULD BE IN A PERFECT WORLD, BUT IT WOULD BE HIGHLY DOUBTFUL IN OUR WORLD NOW-SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THE CONFLICTS IN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE, AND ISRAEL AND PALESTINE... (this is as of Nov. 14, 2023.)

56: The Emperor's New Groove
55: Melody Time
54: The Rescuers Down Under (1990 sequel)
53: Meet the Robinsons
52: The Great Mouse Detective
51: Chicken Little
50: Dinosaur (From here it is 3 stars and would likely want to get in my collection.)
49: Fantasia 2000
48: Lilo & Stitch
47: The Sword in the Stone
46: Fun and Fancy Free
45: Oliver & Company
44: Pocahontas
43: The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad (From here it is 4 stars.)
42: Hercules
41: Home on the Range
40: 101 Dalmatians
39: The Black Cauldron
38: The Rescuers (1977)
37: Cinderella
36: The Little Mermaid
35: Fantasia (1940)
34: The Aristocats
33: Moana
32: Robin Hood
31: Tangled
30: The Fox and the Hound
29: Alice in Wonderland
28: Frozen II
27: Wreck-it Ralph
26: Aladdin
25: Big Hero 6
24: Ralph Breaks the Internet" (Wreck-it Ralph 2)
23: Encanto
21: Mulan
>>21: RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON<<
20: Make Mine Music (From here it is 5 stars. The very best!)
19: Peter Pan
18: Dumbo
17: The Jungle Book
16: The Princess and the Frog
15: Pinocchio
14. Frozen
13: Tarzan
12: Sleeping Beauty
11: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)
10: Bolt
9: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
8: Brother Bear
7: The Three Caballeros
6: Winnie the Pooh (2011)
5: Bambi
4: Beauty and the Beast
3: Zootopia / Zootropolis
2: Lady and the Tramp
THE BEST ONE: The Lion King
NO THIS IS NOT A MISTYPE! I will have to note, for Mulan, Encanto and Raya, I cannot really say which one is the best, but I could say tie of Raya and Mulan because of the similar storyline. Though Mulan is a bit darker than Raya, there are things that would balance each other out and make both movies equal to each other.
Next up is either Wish coming on US Thanksgiving, or the lesser popular, Strange World. And so ends an era... (Transmission comic end-letter)
General | Posted 2 years agoHere is what is practically a letter to Frey Fox (
Keenyfox)-
Dear Frey,
Yesterday was the end of the comic that I loved reading, "Transmission."( https://transmission.thecomicseries.com/comics ) I was very emotional that when I saw "The End" on the last cel, I did lament and feel the nostalgia of the comic. But totally, I did say while I was driving in the car thinking how great the comic is, I thought it was going to last until perhaps US Thanksgiving, Christmas or even before New Year's Eve. Really, I wanted more! I wasn't ready for it to end this soon! ...but at least, the ending was a happy, uplifting one.
Anyhow, we do see how many strips do relate to us, and it is clear enough that we have been entertained through the 587 weeks of having the comic up that's a bit more than 4000 devoted days of drawing the comic series! It is clear enough that you do have other projects to do, but with your storytelling and visual artistry, we were kept in tune and I was an avid fan of yours.
The picture I did have
Furshinku draw now has MUCH more meaning!: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53582661/ I was pleased to hear that you LOVED it, and I can be certain that you have printed it out and saved to a portfolio, but I would be in awe and total surprise if I do hear that you have framed it! I would not be having the abilities to have to do arts by myself, but I'll try. If it were a comic, I can use many as reference, but yours will be included. No, it may not be that we'll ever see each other at any time, but I would be thrilled to meet you at a con if you choose-whether it is in the UK or USA and hope for an autograph along with an honored commission from you.
It may not be the end of the characters as there can be cameos to the upcoming comic, "Incomplete Control": https://incompletecontrol.thecomicseries.com , but I do hope that the vision and magic you put in for "Transmission" could be the same for the new comic you are debuting to the public. I may not see it right away, but I will start for next year and when life is more kind towards me, and there are many reviews to the comic. However, I'm certain that after seeing a preview comic of "IC": https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53552631/ , and seeing on FA that may faved and commented on it, it will be worth my time when I have more time on my hands to read it, I feel.
So, Frey, it was a tremendous undertaking to do "Transmission" in the first place-I do think that you prefer to be having fun with raccoons since you did a comic about Willow Speeds, but yes, as you said, you loved doing the comic, and you loved your characters; and I'm glad that you will keep it up for all to see. Of course, there is a limit, so we'd better be reading from the beginning before it could get taken down by its own will.
Your comic made me in suspense, love, sadness, shock and many more feels that I can't list here. I hope that "IC" will be the same thing. So a BIG thank you to you, Frey. I had a blast reading it from #1 to its end, and I hope to be intrigued by seeing what you do in the future. Well, I will not say that your comic is THE favorite for me, but it garnered a lot of interest from me to watch on a consistent basis. I will hope that your new comic will do the same for me. Thanks for all the time you have given to making your comic as we see that your work was meant to entertain all of us. Keep going, Frey! Your skills are the best in comic making! I'll look forward to "Incomplete Control" soon! And thanks again for LOVING the idea I had to say thank you via an art-if it were that you did put the comic to a play or a movie as a first showing, I'd definitely be applauding for you!

Yours Truly,
Excelsior_ThirtyThe Snoopy collar question is answered!
General | Posted 2 years agoIf you have remembered the journal that I posted that I visited the Charles M Schulz Museum/Research Center in Santa Rosa, CA: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10708638/ , you would see that there is the response that I posted at the end of the journal. If you ever see the gift shops there, Snoopy has a black collar and also there is a red-collared Snoopy as plush. As an active follower of Snoopy in the past and seeing the holiday specials, there is that question that would beg the avid fan of the notable black and white beagle that Charlie Brown owns, and regularly his friends meeting him.
As it is that Snoopy is a dog constantly having his collar on, and that there is no indication ever that he ever takes it off to get cleaned or have others to wear for other occasions, one would default that he would wear one colored collar. Herein lies the problem-on some regular Sunday strips, on the same setting and same day and even when he does move, the color of the collar sometimes change! It is a strange error that Schulz would do.
So I did ask the researcher this:
"As Snoopy has a collar, he does wear black, but I see red as well. Which color is correct, or which color collar he wears the most?"
Now if you do see The Snoopy Show on Apple TV: https://tv.apple.com/us/show/the-sn.....d=tvs.sbd.4000 , or even the The Peanuts Movie: (Youtube snippet) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YubVPL1X_AQ you will see that his collar is dark red. On the specials like "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (snippet:) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YubVPL1X_AQ , you will see it black. But what will turn it upside down is the response that I got from the Museum/Research was this from the archivist today that goes by the name, Sarah Breaux:
"Snoopy's collar is normally black, likely due to to the day strip being printed for many years in black and white."
It could be that once Schulz died in 2000 and that nobody wishes to continue the Peanuts strip, my guess is that the animators who are doing the new shows and movies can have the leeway of giving Snoopy the change in collar.
I do have a hypothesis-since there is this fact that Schulz and his family do not wish to have the strip continue on, they would not worry about such backlash from the estate of Schulz. The collar then would totally be of Schulz's creation and it is...
For as long as Schulz lives, and I have seen a video of him talking at the Center in the 90's, and it seems that he would be the one dictating how everyone in the Peanuts shows and movies should be, and he would have Snoopy be according to how he wants him to be. Well, now he is in his grave, and for some whom have seen Snoopy in red on the small errors that the printing services would do when they put color for Sunday, they do capture the red collar. Wherewith, Snoopy is now having the red collar.
Now, one will see the artist here-
bradsnoopy97, it would be that when he sees the more recent specials that the animators have done, the beagle AFTER Schulz's death would have his default collar red. It could be then that the 2000's are long-gone, and the creators and he would like to have more color to Snoopy, and they will have his neck be colorful-there would be no say against the estate nor the research center because the rights to having Snoopy have been tranferred to the media studios- Wikipedia says that WildBrain (Formerly DHX media) and Sony own 80% of licensing, and so they would therefore have the final say on how the characters are when Peanuts goes to screen, or to a play. So for the Schulz Museum and the Yokohama Japan's The Snoopy Shop: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peanu.....n_Yokohama.jpg (I think there is a museum there too. But do note the large Snoopy statue in the pic-red collar...), after the last movie in 1980, Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!), it will be the last you see of Snoopy being in a black collar at a cinema, and in 2011 it was "Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown"; so from hereon starting with the 2021 special, "Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne", it is red in this millennium. So artist BradSnoopy97 would be correct in the 1000 years we'll have to have Snoopy in a red collar- it is thanks to that small error that the Sunday strip printers responsible for putting color to the strip that you would sometimes see.
So if it is that you will buy such merch of Snoopy, if you are true to what Schulz has done, you would go for the black collar. Otherwise, if you want to be with change and you would go according to what the media has done and to go and be incorrect, get Snoopy in the red collar. It's not anytime soon that his collar will revert back to red, but it could be soon that we'll see the last of the black one as in mainstream, it is red, but historically for 50 years before his death, it's always been black.
Well, hope that helps out in this question that has been bugging the true Peanuts fans. No, don't use my journal as a reference (DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR RESEARCH PAPER!), but it is up to you on what you want in some Peanuts characters. I'll go for black since that is what I grew up with while reading the strip.
I will go and see that place again, so yes, if you were to see me with Snoopy merch, it will be him in a black collar if I go to either gift shop.

NEW FURSONA! In touch with a feminine fur!-LoterĂa Loca
General | Posted 2 years agoIt just occurred today that I remembered doing an art for one that was about to commit suicide a long time ago and I was still getting by in the FF'dom. It was one of the first arts I have done, and it was well before I have ever done some for Alfred, Cory and Ashley. It will be once again, a carnivore, but I did have some thinking that my next fursona would be a fox.
Yes, if it were that one has falsely done suicide and/or at will left the FF'dom in shame and I have done some sort of art without knowing, well, I would think that that furry should have a chance to have more exposure to the FF'dom, but in a different way, and I will have to get rid of the past and adopt the furry to my lineup. Initially, this vixen owned by the person was going to be by suicide by pill overdose, but by my mutual friend of the past (He is not watching me anymore.), I got the report that it was all a sham, and I could not locate the user here on FA. It can be that the user left the site and no is longer is a furry, and the arts that she had are abandoned or deleted. Therefore, it would be a waste of an art that I have done to showcase progressively how I have changed during the years. I'm not really active, but since I have more free time on my hands as of now, I can have that chance to have all my fursonas, including her to be something to build on for my future visual art side hustle career. I believe in second chances, and if I've arted this vixen, let's put the past behind- let it die, and give her rebirth more exposure and have her be fun and to some, memorable.
As I do have interest in having to have a fox too, and they are quite known to be smart and sometimes deceptively witty, fast, determined-it can have the same personalities as me! It is interesting, you can find the vulpine species to be the national animal of Algeria (fennec) and United Kingdom (I know you, bestie-
Louiefox! ), the state/provincial animal of Canada's Prince Edward Island (red) Sweden's Laponia (arctic) and in the US's Delaware (gray) and Mississippi (red). Currently, you would see her as orange, but I think she should be a mix of species of fox. I could think of both red and gray together, and try to incorporate it to the existing draw I have here. It can be quite easy as you could see orange on gray foxes, and the hands you'd see are white. If you see the species of both, there can be a little bit of alterations, and it can be easy to incorporate. Since I have had a mustache since I was a child, that tick you would see near the end of the muzzle on the art and on RL foxes will exist-because sentiments.
There will still be lots more things to iron out for me to have my definite desires for my vixen, but I do hope I can connect with her well. I can be having some interest in having all four in some way in such an interesting setting. If you were in the 1990's and heard of the US channel, Fox (NO PUN INTENDED-NOTE THE CAPITAL "F"! ), there has been a show called "Herman's Head" that lasted 3 seasons-well, she would be the feminine side of me, in this case!
Here is the description of the show on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herman%27s_Head , and an episode that is saved on YouTube if you want to know what I mean and revisit nostalgia!:
https://youtu.be/CRo-NIKZ7Qk
I think that if it ever has my interest that my RL self will have to appear here on FA, and these four were to re-enact the characters on the show, I think they would be these psyche:
Angel-new fox (There will be more info upcoming.)
Animal- Cory (But less sleazy and more mature. Also, though in the show, Animal is considered fat, Cory would be liking food, but more into being fit and exercising.)
Wimp-Alfred (As he's likely the predator to some animals despite carnivore, naturally, he'd be fit for this role despite that he has been in school.)
Genius-Ashley (Indicated in the ref sheet and personality of him: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37654822/ he has the master's degree and has the most logic and though Alfred can rival him, he's more calm, but can be bossy in my mind if the opportunity arises.)
I'll see if that happens!
EXTREMELY LIKELY, I could name that vixen "Sairy." As there will be a middle name and last name for each of my fursonas, I will find out, but to incorporate something here as Ihave Spanish, French and Dutch background, Sairy is Spanish, and the middle name will be French, and the last name is Dutch, but USUALLY for my last names, if I create new fursonas, A-M will be males, and N-Z will be females. I will see how that will go.
Now to bring up "Sairy", what do you think? From the website, https://www.nameslist.org/meaning/baby-name-Sairy , it means, "Happy, Beautiful, Traveller, A Bird, Princess, The One that Always Prays and Traveler." Nice! I have seen some named SAIRU here on FA, and my pick of a first name is EXTREMELY RARE in baby names. WOAH-only 9 in the entire world were born with that name according to https://www.popular-babynames.com/name/sairy -but there is one male named Sairy! I like the name, though, and how I got it is when I was watching a game show on CBS called LoterĂa Loca, and it is a fun game on luck, but there are some little stints of trivia here and there. It is like bingo, but there's cards instead of numbers. It was Season 1, Episode 3 that I found the player Sairy from MĂ©xico ALMOST WIN $1 MILLION, but lost it all-she was a natural!
This is a preview of the show:
https://youtu.be/U60O6TDvWlY
If you want to see the episodes, go here, and look for episode 3 for Sairy's tragic loss: https://www.cbs.com/shows/loteria-loca/
I did bring it up initially on Ferzu on my account-it is the first comment when you scroll down and LoterĂa Loca is there: https://www.ferzu.com/Member/Details/excelsior30 , and I would have used it for a child if I were married, but I guess that since I have this vixen sitting around on my account doing nothing, I COULD use that name for my furry. It is unofficial, but I think as women are very likely to put the name of their baby they pushed out of their womb, I will very likely use Sairy for that fox.
Until the ref sheet is put out, she will still be on the shelf, but it is very soon that she will debut. If it weren't for LoterĂa Loca, she would not be the most distinctive furry in the FF'dom by name.
So stay tuned, it could be December or January that I would (RE)debut this vixen to the FF'dom, and I hope you like her looks, personality and many other things that make her, her! 'Til then!
WELL, SHE'S ALREADY HERE! (Drawn by myself, May 23, 2012): https://www.furaffinity.net/view/8039937/

'Til then!

Oh yes, these places are all part of the complex that is devoted to the great Charles M. Schulz! (Although, there is up the street, 1, 3, & 5 Snoopy Lane, but these are research, syndication and licensing offices, including the original place where Schulz lives, but the area is not open to the public.)
I did have a GREAT time being at that place despite that I did arrive at around 13:00. Before I did go, I first did see the small Santa Rosa's Charles M. Schulz Airport (STS airport code: https://sonomacountyairport.org/ ), and other than the logo, there was a small reference of Snoopy there- there was a free library kiosk in the shape of Snoopy's doghouse! It isn't big, only 3 airlines serve the area, but it was nice. If you don't really want to be in a hustle and bustle like the other 3 SF Bay Area airports or Sacramento airport, you can
give this one a try. Be wary though of the restaurant there, it can be PRICEY. (Exit 495 on US 101 and go west.)
(The Schulz Museum and rink is at exit 491 on US 101 and go west.)
I felt enamored that I got to go! Although, I did have a time few days earlier in seeing a preview of the place and seeing a park there, going inside the museum made me appreciate the place a whole lot more as there was at the entrance, the first thing you see is that he has done more than 17,000 strips in his 50 years in doing it, but also, a HUGE tiled wall made of comics on them to enact the time Charlie Brown would try to kick the football with Lucy van Pelt holding-you know the end result-poor Charlie... Although there is an outside that I could not get to in time, I did go by the video intro in seeing how important the museum is to comic fans of the past, present, & future.
I will not spoil it too much because I will go back again, but you will have to see how even some comic artists hold Peanuts in high regard, and it is a fact, despite that Schulz is now dead for 23 years, he is still accumulating wealth-heard from a volunteer worker that he, his family, estate and company are getting $30 million each year! I am still in the process of getting more pictures, but I have seen a re-enactment of Schulz's working area, original comics and even rough drafts of his comics-even as far back as when his comic was called "Lil' Folks", and the movies of him in the past. One would have to devote a beginning to end day of seeing the museum and select movies of interest to get the full experience of the world of Peanuts.
You can't really get all of what you want to learn by just visiting the museum only. The for-profit gift shop has a bit more exhibits that you should see on the second floor that tell more about the comic and the legacy of Schulz. In there, I did laugh at things that were hilarious in books of the past, like Snoopy being EXTREMELY TICKLISH! There is the notable Mona Lucy (Lisa) painted picture, and Snoopy and Woodstock plush in clothing by Levi's, Calvin Klein, and many other clothiers; even that there are china and silverware devoted to Peanuts... Lithographs are there as well-they can be up to the cost of $3000! Do note too of other artifacts and figurines in the gift shop that is near the ice rink, in which it has a good Swiss atmosphere inside.
For sure, if you are an aspiring artist whether or not you will be doing furry art, this would be a mecca for you to see to have such inspiration, especially whe you learn the background on the Peanuts characters and their evolution to what they are today-even after 23 years of Schulz's death.
To speak of Schulz's 100th (Nov, 26, 2022) and the devotionary May 27 2000 strips done in remembrance of him, there is a book about the May 2000 strips the comic artists did in the museum gift shop. DO NOT BUY IT. IT DOES NOT HAVE ALL THE STRIPS. If you want to get the strips, you will have to go to King Features Syndicate and Go Comics to see them. Do put the dates of the strips, but do look out for the occasional times when the strip artists do give homage to Schulz outside these dates, especially the Cathy author, Cathy Guisewhite (Original- it ended in 2010: https://www.gocomics.com/cathy The other is now, "Cathy Commiserations", but you can see the 100th of Schulz right now from her!: https://www.gocomics.com/cathy-comm.....ons/2022/11/26 ) and Lynn Thompson's For Better or For Worse: https://www.gocomics.com/forbetterorforworse ; both authors are HUGE fans of Peanuts after seeing a biography in the auditorium, and I remember seeing Guisewhite at his funeral.
I will close to say that it was a great time for me to learn visual art from Sparky, who got his nickname from Spark Plug the horse in the 104-year old strip (STILL RUNNING!), Barney Google and Snuffy Smith : https://comicskingdom.com/barney-go.....d-snuffy-smith (You will have eventually pay to see the comics being shown on Comics Kingdom.) He would be a mentor for anyone needing guidance in not just arts, but life in general, as well.
And to all who are aspiring drawers, do take this quote from him as inspiration:
Now, there is a user here on FA I just found before I went to the Museum:
BradSnoopy97 as he obviously loves drawing Snoopy and Woodstock. I would suggest having him go there and talk to the curators and the company PNTS to possibly be part of their team in Santa Rosa! If he has that passion, why don't he go and be there and the other studios that PNTS s actively having cartoon contracts with?!
Do have a visit at some point! Everyone, Peanuts fan or not, it is a worthwhile visit to see this complex-you will be much more appreciative of C.M. Schulz and his work he had done for half a century and is wherever you go, recognized as one of the best cartoonists in the world, and the most recognizable beagle with yellow bird as his close friend other than "the Round Headed Kid"!

Very sad- laid off yesterday... D-;
General | Posted 2 years agoIt has been lots of upswings in the past few days- my cousin's friendly stepfather was sick after hip replacement, I saw two good movies, Bob Barker dying, and now a huge change in my work history.
If you have heard of the company that was in New Orleans, New York City and at a time, one city in Florida, it has scaled back operations and focused on San Francisco Bay Area and recently got into the Los Angeles market. Good Eggs, the fresh grocery delivery company (www.goodeggs.com), had a new CEO and has made changes. I could have noticed it right away when my original supervisor left the company almost a month ago-I was a driver for the company. The other drivers have noticed some changes as well- there was less work in the area, they were using other companies that have a contract with them to save on gas and to use less of their vans, the staff above me was getting reduced, and that the company was operating at a loss. I did hear the news last Wednesday that possibly there will be cuts to service, but it was last Sunday that the sledgehammer broke the rock with one more swing. Out of the 6 of us that were working part-time, they decided to stop offering jobs; we were all laid off and got our final paychecks on the same day.
I knew this was coming, and I was getting ready to apply quickly to a new job, but I did not expect it to be THIS FAST. I was going to expect it to be in 2 weeks time, but corporate had other ideas. Ugh, and just some days ago, I was given a warning about being late... Anyway, that got me to depression. I hope to get out of it soon, but it is hard to get this news. Despite that I have a job that the state of CA has hired me to do, I do want a bit more so I can pay off my student loans easier if I'm not hired right away. Now this is going to affect me in my involvement in the FF'dom as I do have to pay for services- commissions on art and I had plans for a new fursuit. I guess that will be postponed-but for how long? And let me not forget my home con, Further Confusion-I may have to commute again to save money, or attend not at all as I do have to focus on paying off the loans. I can do it in less than a year if I wasn't laid off, but now that is going to be a bit more difficult. It will depend on President Biden and his Democrat allies in dealing with the US Dept. of Education to help me out in hopefully having the interest not be accrued for a time. Should it be that the Republicans and the conservative courts not be on the indebted side, my life can be more difficult and less enjoyable in not just the FF'dom.
Yes, if you are going to be in the food delivery service, you will have to research the company hard. If they have negative cash flow, or they have problems with their bank- (When I got their last paycheck, they still have an account with the defunct and shut-down Silicon Valley Bank [It is now First Citizens after a takeover and in the UK, HSBC. Their website is STILL up!: https://www.svb.com/]), then it would not be good to stay in the long-term. The business is VERY competitive, and people would rather have their groceries at their door and not talk. Also, it would seem that customers would want last-mile products instead of quality products-so by my hypothesis, they would take GMO's or foods that have been with fertilizer at their door for the sake of quick convenience to have to eat. Word of mouth for successful service does not work with the company I'm in for customers. If really the company were to make small adjustments sooner and have a way to keep part-timers still at work, then this would not have happened-how irresponsible! I do feel that with Amazon, the supermarket delivery, Grubhub/Skip, and many others competing for customers, it will cause smaller companies to fall. With Good Eggs being regional, I don't think in the long run they will survive. They want the slogan "Win the West!" to come true by 2025-I don't think that will happen.
Guys, if you are working for such a company like I was, it is best to actively search for another job. MAKE IT SHORT-TERM; DO NOT MAKE IT YOUR CAREER-EVEN IF YOU MAKE IT UP THE LADDER IN IT.
For about 3 1/2 years on the job, it was fun exploring the SF Bay Area, and I did have respect from other co-workers. I could feel that if at one point I was helping the grocery pickers and that orders were being reduced after the COVID-19 pandemic was concluding, there was something afoot, and though I was a bit aloof about the situation, I did have a feeling that the company is in trouble, and I did hear that from a coworker who was on for a long time and left about a year and a half ago. If it is that there are these things in the wild within the company, you will have to get ready for something bad to happen if you stay longer. I did have a good time with Good Eggs, but what a sour end to my tenure. I won't go for them or even shop for their items, and I won't work with them again even if they rehire me or promote me to a better position. *I sigh.*
Well, I won't keep groveling-there are more jobs ahead that I can qualify for. I do have a lot to offer as I do have a diverse work history and educational background. I will hope that soon I will be hired into my dream job that relates to what I studied in university. Best of luck to me. I'll try to keep positive.
*I sigh.*

(18+) Devoted journal for a funny adult comic! XD
General | Posted 2 years agoWell, well, well, if you have come to this journal and want to read, you should know what you are getting into!
I did decide to put this one up because if I did comment repeatedly on the posting that occured on Aug. 22, 2023 from
Jackaloo, it would overwhelm the posting! So if you know about the series of the Andy and Cooper saga in the Interns series. It was that comic that got me to being so much into unclean things and laughing every time I think of anything related to that posting!
I recommend really, if you do want to follow the whole story, start from the very beginning: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20437011 and get to this one- you won't regret it!: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53393024/
WHOO-HOW HOT MR. ESTEVEZ IS TOWARDS MR. OLEANDER!!
With that in mind, get ready for these puns, references and some hilarity related to that comic....
*Well, for me, at some points, I would say "OH NELLIE!" when I saw this. But I recognized that if it were the name with the "Y" at the end it would be MUCH different-Little did I know that it is the rapper that sang this song!
https://youtu.be/GeZZr_p6vB8
(Fits well, esp., when it's a full moon! )
I decided to no longer say the name when it comes to impending yiff...
* And if you were the Millennial/Generation Y or earlier, you would have heard of the show, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper...
https://youtu.be/8bde9KfcRL4
It is the last theme song-he will tear the house down; well, as it is a gay comic, he will demolish the house of Andy in a good way!
*Ohh, and really for a full moon to occur, one would have wished it was January-that's Cooper's favorite moon- THE WOLF MOON! I do not know what will happen next, but with Andy already mooning Cooper accidentally, to incorporate some joke in astronomy, Cooper is the destroying asteroid if one thing leads to another!
*Think about it, do you think really, this is a comic strip??
OKAY, that's enough jokes! If I go any further, you would be unamused!
However, do look for the reference to the Three Little Pigs and Red Riding Hood on that post I put up...: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53.....#cid:174390610
Honestly, this one beats the one time I had to laugh so much in class after hearing the real-life Rasputin in Russia before WW2. Once you hear his outlandish way of living, you will never forget it if you go to history class, but Cooper here is far more WOAH than Rasputin! I congratulate the artist whose fursona is a dingoat for making this up-down relationship of these two possible.

I should shut up. How I pick artists/ Art list
General | Posted 2 years agoFrom what I go by, if it feels that I would like a commission, I will have first priority over those that I have had a connection before. So if it is that I have some artists that you have seen before doing arts for me in my gallery, you will see the reason why. I will go as follows:
+ If it is that one artist has in the past made art for me when I commissioned, I will likely do it again.
+ If it is a friend I know very well that referred me to an artist and that friend and artist are close, I will keep in mind of this and plan on future arts.
+ I will see if artists do watch me on here, Ferzu, Twitter, Discord, Telegram or very soon, Mastodon. If the connection is a mutual watch (watch me, watch you), that will be a HUGE factor in having a commission done.
+ Raffles are the best way of having a foreign artist get me to watching them in the long-term. Should it be that I win, then I will get that art, AND that I will commission again in the future.
- Complete stranger messaging me for art and has NO gallery of their own art. If it is that a complete stranger does message me, it should be at least 15 of their own arts. I will use a picture ID to check.
- I HAVE HAD IT WITH THOSE WANTING COMMISSIONS FOR ILLNESSES! Few times I have commissioned some artists, and they have not done any progress. One example was that I commissioned one who has cancer and had been off and on going on FA and disabled their account. Now the artist is off. I will no longer fund for illnesses of any kind even if it's art.
- Person has just one account for everything. I will want to have artists with at least three accounts like the ones I have listed on positive bullet #3 above. If you have just 2, I will not accept-it is a hard limit.
I have been losing enough money. So this journal I'm posting are the guidelines of when I can commission you and who I can trust, because this world is getting to be a little meaner and greedier. Therefore, I'm putting my defenses up and putting my footpaw down for potential artists that would like arts to do for my money. If we have good relations, then we can go forward with a commision. Do note that I do judge one's work when I get a commission done, so it can be a reference to in the future who I can commission again. If it went on good terms, I will put it up when I post in the description when I upload my copy after asking permission. It can bolster your reputation as a good artist if I do put a grade, the amount of time done, communication involved, and quality of art.
As I could be picky, it could be a good thing for you artists so if there are some that would want to try you out, you will get more reviews that are positive and have perhaps a successful career or side hustle in drawing furry, and sometimes scenic/human art. I'll be on your side, but don't take it personally if you have a "B" as a grade-it is still good! It is a "C" that will be something to talk about.
----
With that point in mind, I do have many commissions upcoming, so if you see yourself on the list below, keep in mind of where you are at and I will see if you can finish my arts soon. From now on, if I have many arts to be drawn by others, I will regularly post a journal to see who I'm waiting on for an art.
Here we are as of now:
COMMISSIONED:
Garphan95-- 1) a commission to remember Haku
Pamfer-it includes my sona-PAID. Status unknown-did a rough draft as practice: https://twitter.com/garphan95plus/s.....37782253297665 2) soon to be done, a draw of
CassidytheCivet as fanart-not paid.
Furshinku-- requested commission but not materialized: a draw of
KeenyFox after ending the Transmission comic (decided to prolong the commission to give up one slot.)
ZelaumHunter-Paid commission and working on it.

ZelaumHunter-Paid commission and working on it.ABC's The Prank Panel- FURSUITERS INVOLVED!
General | Posted 2 years agoFirst of all this show after seeing the first few episodes, it's EXTREMELY HILARIOUS!!!
If it contains the notable comedians and funny antics of Johnny Knoxville and Eric André, it's gotta be funny. The other main host of this show is Gabourey Sidibe who goes on and sees anyone who wants to do such a prank on family and/or friends, and if it is feasable to do a prank and plan it accordingly, will get their wish come true and have the joke on them. It is different from ABC's 33-seasoned show, America's Funniest Home Videos ( https://abc.com/shows/americas-funn.....st-home-videos ) where it is amatures doing such pranks on others using home video and hopefully winning $100,000 on the season finale. These stars are of course, professionals- and are behind the scenes posting hidden cameras, having a secret central meeting area and find crafty things ahead of time and on the fly to have the victim tricked; and they have done really well after seeing the first episode of a pastor having to be unbeknownst that she will marry (conduct, not be) a sister and brother, on what is clearly taboo in society, and in some juridictions, against the law. It was her husband that did the prank and she fell for it!
I will not give you the second one, but you will watch the series premere here, S1, Ep1: https://abc.com/shows/the-prank-panel
BUT!
You would want to watch every single show-because once you see the intro here, you want to stop it right away at around 1:08 online. Of course, you will want to DVR on cable to see it as well, however, PLEASE do DVR so you can see what is in that intro happen later on in the season! From what I have seen, there was a user named
Yammo who participted (FA account dead, but his badge exists: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52224701/ He has a Twitter: https://twitter.com/YammoYeen ). But he's not alone, you will see in the intro that there are MANY fursuiting furries participating in the prank that is planned! From what I see, I see at least
Rivalo in this! Can you find out who else is in this group prank?! (It must feel like you should say "WHEE!" if you're the orange fox exiting the ambulance on a gurney going downhill and letting the force of gravity accelerate you! )So this is going to be a fun thing for the summer to see every Sunday at the US/Canada Eastern/Pacific Time Zone at 8pm (7 Central-don't get me started on Mountain-I don't know.) Yammo says that it will air at the end of July, but be ready for the unexpected- do in case, DVR every episode if you want to see it live on TV. It will be worth laughing for! It is already done, but if it is that Yammo had invited a few notable fursuiters, they have done a great job in pranking-if he says that having the FF'dom be involved in this and saying that it has changed his life, it was a successful prank! I guess you can say ahead of time, congrats to him and his furry friends, and you would go ahead and give him a watch! This is the Tweet that he posted about this:
>> https://twitter.com/YammoYeen/statu.....09648517373952 <<I hope he has made the FF'dom proud! Let's wait and see!
Alternate: if you can't see the show because you live outside the USA/Canada, some Caribbean countries at air US television or even farther away from the USA/Mexico border, I have a copy of the intro, and I'm deducing the little shot of fursuiters that appear: https://twitter.com/alandcory/statu.....86924526788614 Enjoy!I finally found it-"the bugs" are SPORES! (long)
General | Posted 2 years agoOh, I finally figured it out after seeing a website called Denguarden: https://dengarden.com/cleaning/Invi.....and-black-mold
If you go to that website, this is what I have been suffering from for nearly 22 months- I first had felt this in one area on June 25, 2021 and had a throat tickle: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9911166/ I, along with family thought it was dust mites that were overloading our home on the base of the hill. It was just a few days ago that I felt that I was going to give in, but I had to plead with God (I am Roman Catholic.) for an answer to this suffering. I had many times when I could not sleep and was awake overnight. It was these particles that I could not see that were bothering me-even if it were me covering my head, there were some that were on the sheets no matter how much I shake them-even on the blankets. I did feel them rolling on my skin when in bed. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON MY GENITALS AND BUTTHOLE-EEK!!!
It has given me a lot of discomfort-even when I go to a sink in the kitchen or bathroom, they attack your legs quite profusely, I even fear washing dishes! I would fear going out and have to be itching in front of others because, they are in my clothes, but because fungi have roots and rhizomes (Techincally, "mycorrhizae.") they can be lodged in the clothes--OR EVEN ON MY SKIN. It has been close to 2 years again, and I have been using alcohol, but it does give temporary relief, even Raid for flying insects ( https://www.raid.com/en-us/products.....nsect-killer-7 ) I happen to use for temporary relief, and of course, they do return. As of me typing this journal at night, I have lots of itches and even, "knocks" of these things on my skin. They like my hair and I keep wiping my scalp to brush them off. Even while sleeping, a wave has fallen on my head.
It would not have been insect bites like mosquitoes because they would almost always bring a welt and histamine-inducing itches. Pollen would not do because it will make you sneeze if you are allergic to it. You can be allergic to mold spores, but how you would react to it is going to make you miserable. So this thing was running my life for 1 year, 10 months, 1 day, my family and I were spending money to no avail for a permanent solution.
How I got to the answer was many clues-
1: They are more active at night
2: They tend to be more around a water source- the kitchen sink and bathroom.
3: I used a contraption that gives electromagnetic waves, and once it was on, I felt a HUGE SWATH of particles leave the area going from the outlet to the nearest exit.
4: If it were thrips like the previous journal back, they would be easy to see.
5: It would not be dust mites, we have been doing LOTS OF FOGGING FOR INSECTS, and they would have been EXTREMELY diminished. Though they do come back, they do not harm your skin as they do eat dead skin, but still, they don't cause any bites TO LIVING SKIN. We'd be sneezing so much if it were them and they were runining our life for those 22 months.
6: I went to Montréal with these spore-infested clothes, and I actually felt them fly away from my baggage when I opened them, and despite that the spores were now in the area, I did have very minimal reaction since I used lysol and alcohol regularly to keep them away. They never did establish themselves in the house I was in.
7: Though on me, I would not feel them outside away from my house- they would not like the Sun. And even if I was away and took a shower before leaving, the mold was not present-it was in so much concentration in my house. I CAN FEEL THEM IN MY CAR TOO.
8: Vacuuming and air purifying/scrubbing did minimal effect overall. I have to find the source.
9: Went to Further Confusion and was in the Motel 6 ( https://www.motel6.com ) and at the Convention itself. I did not recall any time when I had itches and it was not difficult to go to sleep nor be in fursuit.
10 (the most important) : I did do 2 places with a mold test, and it was after 48 hours that I found a few colonies of mold in a petri dish with a base of potato. Despite that I checked it a bit early (I should wait 48 hours), there were signs of small circular growth on the growth medium that are present already.
If you feel that there are small bugs harming you in your area, you should ask yourself if it really is morgellons or very likely, mold in your house. You would want to purchase this over at the home improvement store: https://www.moldarmor.com/mold-armor-test-kit/ . A professional analysis would be better, though, but having to do this first would save you your sanity and money later on! I would have thought that permethrin or this: https://www.emuaid.com/ would help me, but no, that isn't the case.
Now yes, if this happens, it will be time to go ahead and guard your fursuit! As molds and even mildew are opportunistic and would want to get on water-based things, it is wise to seal your clothes and fursuit away so that they won't get the spores as well. It will be a disaster if the fungi overtake the fursuit and you will have to use bleach to kill them. It is fine if your fursuit is 100% white, but this will be terrible if it isn't! BUT, as I have learned that if these fungi do make it to your fursuit head, it could be the death knell of the head as the molds have lots of surface area to replicate and use the area to utilize its replication and could turn-if the head is made of foam-it to a gunky mess. So PLEASE, if you have such a mold problem in your home, greatly minimize your fursuit use. You do not want your investment to eventually meet a sad end due to nature.
In the meantime, I will investigate how the mold/mildew made it so unbearable now in the first place-the house I'm living in has a sinking bedroom, a bathroom shower stall ceiling is falling, and suspiciously, an underpinning company was supposed to save the area that was sinking. Somehow or another, they know something that we do not know, and they all of a sudden abandoned the work. We never paid for their work in full, and they are suing us for the unpaid work, but I have suspicion that it was not just that they wanted more money to continue and they stopped, it was more than that-negligence and making the property worse. The mold situation could be related to the company ditching the area, and caused the mold situation to start at the place they were doing the work. We will have to see more into this and make a countersuit if possible because we have suffering, and purchases that were related to this problem that we're in. Of course, when we hire a professional to find where the source is and clean it, and if it is at the place where the underpinning was not complete, we'll have the right to sue the company responsible.
So guys, finally, some answer to a problem, but I do have to have more confirmation that the mold I have is the cause of our weary days and nights where we basically have to clean EVERY DAY, and I have to shower TWICE A DAY AT HOME-it is not like being at a furry convention wearing a fursuit, believe me. IT IS THAT BAD!
I did have times of giving up-even taking my life away, but thank heavens for the Internet looking for clues and using the scientific method in finding answers, soon, there will be closure. I hope the mold problem will be solved, and I will live life comfortably.
I will be moving soon when I have a better job, but I will be thankful that once we eradicate the mold that is flying in the air and creeping on the floor, clothes and skin, I will not be bringing it to my next place of habitation, whether I will be with other furries, non-furry friends or my own wife with family. The latter would have LOTS OF PROBLEMS with this situation....

A discovery! This is Life-"Furry Nation" is archived!
General | Posted 2 years agoFurs, do you remember the great documentary that Lisa Ling did for CNN for furries? If you have completely missed it, you actually STILL have a chance to see the show!
Be blessed that there is The Internet Archive, and it would seem that there is unlimited space in the website, https://archive.org/ .
Currently on YouTube,
Marroktehwulf does have the vid on, still, but as of now, it is blocked for anyone who is in the USA. The link is in my past journal on November 19, 2018 as a response. In here, unadulterated, is my rating of what I saw on the program, and it will be a good read for you!: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8948863/
At this point, if you do go to the CNN website for the show, "This Is Life", the episode is not showing. I do not think that there will be more new episodes that Ms. Ling will do anytime soon. Therefore, you will have to dig deep in the archives to find the show's episode, "Furry Nation."
You will be in luck, the whole episode is without interruption on The Internet Archive. I will not go and post the whole website so copyright, claims and all, but I will give you a search so that you can get there easily. In the movies section of the site, if you are able to put in, "ThisIsLifeWithLisaLingFurryNation" in some way, you will get to that episode there. TIA will keep whatever is on the Internet permanently despite of site changes, but do have the notion that nothing lasts forever. So just in case, if you do have a video downloader, do save it to computer and even USB storage so you can see it over and over again-it is accessible to EVERYONE. The episode is priceless to the FF'dom, and you can see it in my review!
If you have not seen it already, go do it-it is the best, and Ling reveres the FF'dom well. ENJOY!!

Sad news-Cory's head will be replaced...
General | Posted 2 years agoIt is 5 years, 1920 days. After talking to a potential fursuit repairer, it would seem that Cory the white Arctic wolf that is done by
RumWolf is going to have to be thrown away.
I have been taking good care of it, but it is that if you have noticed, a little bit of deformation of his nose and even the tongue is not straight; if you were owning Cory, the ears were starting to be uneven as well, but even though, it is still useable and the abnormalities of the head are okay. It was later that his hair was starting to come off, but that was fixed by me.
It is a bit after March that things went downhill. I was going to make the nose painted, but I got the wrong shade-I would have used that as a cover for my plastic nose so that soon I can get the right color of the nose-but that $1.05 purchase is null and void now.
What got me to say that I give up on the suithead by Rum was when I was cleaning Cory's head using the notable Bissell Little Green Vacuum that is gaining popularity with fursuiters for a quicker, more reliable clean of the head, removable tail and feetpaws: https://www.bissell.com/little-green-portable-carpet-cleaner-1400B.html?PID=bing_%5Badv%3ABISSELL%5D%5Bcou%3AUS%5D%5Bini%3APDC%5D%5Bplt%3ABing%5D%5Bfun%3ARemarket%5D%5Bstr%3APROSP%5D%5Btgt%3AB%5D%5Bcrt%3APDC+BD%5D%5Blng%3AENG%5D%5Bnet%3ASPART%5D&msclkid=54138126aaa6109bd0ece51b3a21eed9&gclsrc=ds&gclsrc=ds , I was letting it dry on a bare wooden table with the hole up top and the fur on the wood. THAT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I'VE MADE FOR CORY. The end result when I checked was the wood stain was on the majority of the fur on Cory's right side of the face!!
As you have seen pas photos of Cory wolf, he is white, but now he is of a brown yellow on his muzzle and a bit around his eyes. I have tried many ways to get that stain off- liquid soap, the mix of alcohol, toothpaste & baking soda, even go as far as carefully using powdered bleach to get that stain off-IT'S NO USE. I did contact one fursuit repairer to see if they can help me, and he did suggest me to buy a new head as stains on fur if they aren't food are incredibly hard to get off-it is not just white fur.
I will post on Twitter on what he looks like now, and it is a sad end to Cory being made by Rum. I will hope to find a new head, hopefully. If it is that I should go to Further Confusion as Cory again, I should start my search NOW and land a commission IMMEDIATELY.
Do help me out in finding a fursuit constructor if you can that is under $2650 for a head, if you can. Otherwise, if you plan on meeting me as Cory, you won't see him for a year.
Sad time, but I hope that I will find someone that will make Cory better. I will post what Cory looks like now in the response to this journal below-you will see the pics on my Twitter page, alandcory.

You will have to learn from seeing why you would want to use coasters under cups on tables- IT DOES HAPPEN ON WET FURSUIT FUR TOO-THEY ABSORB WOOD STAINS LIKE A SPONGE. FROM THIS, DO NOT LAY YOUR WET FURSUIT ON WOOD TO DRY, EVEN IF IT IS LACQUERED OR WAXED.

Ah! I found the one who made me go to the FF'dom!
General | Posted 2 years agoNo, it is not former SF Bay localer,
Excelsior-the-lion where I got the beginnings- this was WELL before him. Just some years before I got to seeing an independent lion fursuiter for the first time who likes the Tampa Bay Lightning ( https://www.nhl.com/lightning ), I did like the mascots, and it was a dream meeting one or even being one. Well, I do have similar interests, but life changes and there have been crazy things happening in my teen years and college years that made me stray away, but not entirely. Once life was more allowable, then the eventual fursuit of Cory happened, but I could not have entered the FF'dom if it weren't for Jinx Lynx.
You will see that this lady who likes mascoting has been having a passion for it. The RL person is also a suit maker who goes by the name of Erin Blank, who is part of Keystone Mascots ( https://www.keystonemascots.com/ ). She may know of the FF'dom, but I think that she is more human than furry and would like to represent a company mascot and make kids from 2 to 92 happy. It was that I got to see this video on YouTube that I get to see her in RL, and it did revisit memories of my past and it helped bloom to me being almost full-time furry as of now. Today is the first-ever time that I get to see her. Talk about devotion-since ten she wanted to be in suit?! I was deciding to be furry at 28, and got my first fursuit on January 13, 2018! We have talked a couple of times, but she then vanished all of a sudden. Despite that the video below from VOA is about a decade old, it is still significant. At 0:51, you will see her in the yellow shirt:
Although there is no camp to be a furry fursuiter, having to be one and a mascot are very similar-it is just that you aren't paid, you have your own personality, you have no perks on a job, and you have your own suit--but yes, you have the option to TALK in suit. Again, but yes, as a suiter--as you will see for Caren Simmons, a gov't worker who is part-time and REALLY stressed, being in suit is a relaxing thing! Additionally, the fact that Ms. Blank knows the oldest performer was 72 at the time... Well, we know that
Zarafa is in his late 60s, so he'll join that club that Blank knows, as yes, once you're in suit, it's hard to disconnect and quit-just like quitting the FF'dom! The website is STILL up after many years-have you heard of Geocities? Somehow it is not gone, and the original one is still around but not being maintained. As a good legacy to how my furriness had started, here is the website: http://www.geocities.ws/Colosseum/P.....ediv2and3.html (Note, the only website that is active is the Keystone Mascots link on that page.)
I'll never know if Erin is still performing, but HIGHLY LIKELY she is! If ever that I do see her, I would love to meet her outside of suit and even learn from her as you can't stop learning how to be a suiter either being a fursuiter or mascot. I'll be glad to shake her hand and thank her for leading me to where I am right now.

I do not know if Keystone Mascots will do furry suits, but it never hurts to try and ask them! If it is possible to hide the open areas of the head so the steam can exit while fursuiting, then that would be great to have for your head. Fursuit constructors, if it is cheaper to do this than to put a fan in the head,
try it and see if you like it!Quick Journal- Thank yous, and video
General | Posted 3 years agoWell, wanting to post a journal to move on from the sad birthday I had; I have to go to work few minutes after posting this journal-other than the scam, I still live with parents, but I would have had injuries- they were in a fight in a car and they almost caused an accident-it was my dad that is so selfish that he would ruin the birthday I had. I'm OK though.
The positive thing here is that the 5 of you all that wished me happy birthday that time, I thank you deeply despite that it was curt. My best friend did care, and I'm so glad he has sympathy, and I hope to see him soon. I had no cake nor presents nor a special meal. It was good in that time of sadness-I wasn't happy to get things to cheer me up, but I'm glad I had a quiet birthday. The good thing here though, is that I'm controlling my weight!: https://twitter.com/alandcory/statu.....04169328549888 So having no junk food was a good thing that day. Besides, my Lenten vow was to not drink carbonated drinks for weight control.
However, I did do two videos! I did wait until my birthday to get one vid done-it was at Further Confusion, and it was me dancing to Tony Bennett's "I Left my Heart in San Francisco". I had to find the best and simple video editing software to get that one done. Microsoft Clipchamp was the one for me. https://clipchamp.com/en/windows-video-editor/ Thanks to that, I can do dancing videos again! I also did one for my birthday, Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." So though it has been a delay posting here, I hope you enjoy my dancing. I may not be at a dance comp, but the key thing is for me to have fun!
If you will post on them at YouTube thank you, especially my birthday dance! Thanks for those wishes that you give me there, though belated!

General | Posted 3 years agoYep, I'm on this dating website, and it would be a good thing to take in order to find my forever love, however, I'm sure that it's more than that as the information I got on the test they supplied me will help in relations with others who just want to be friends with me. In any case, it can go in line with https://www.16personalities.com as I was considered an INTJ-T, but it does go a little deeper. If it is that you would find me at www.catholicmatch.com, and want to try me, you can find my real name on the Tony Robbins DISC test in which I am "C". In any case, here is my test on Catholic Match. It will be listed on my ID page if you miss this journal.
Analysis from CatholicMatch:
Yours is one of the most likeable personalities. "What a great guy (gal)!" is often heard about the phlegmatic. Phlegmatics are calm, easy-going, and good-natured. To the ancient Greeks, phlegmatic were like water: calm, cool, going with the flow. They are rarely flamboyant or dictatorial, but prefer cooperation and diplomacy. With their capacity for service and ability to remain calm under pressure, phlegmatics make good emergency responders, engineers, soldiers and military officers.
If you are a phlegmatic, you get along with most everyone and have a great sense of humor. You tend to be respectful and respectful (in fact, your humor often prevents conflict in contentious situations). Underneath your somewhat reserved exterior is a gentle heart that seeks harmony and abhors conflict. You are dependable, polite, and even-tempered. You feel more comfortable in a small group of friends or even spending a quiet evening relaxing at home. You are rarely flashy, belligerent, or self-serving. You would rather take the blame (even unjustly) than stir up controversy or pick a fight. You may struggle with self-confidence. On the job, you do not seek power or the limelight, but work steadily and methodically. You are a team player, though if charged with leadership, you will fulfill the mission without becoming a tyrant. You can work with the most difficult of personalities. You prefer job security, working within a structured organization, but can also be a leader of great character and service. Former U.S. president Calvin Coolidge, for example, was known for being a man of few words, conservatism in maintaining the status quo, and a propensity for "effectively doing nothing." Once at a dinner party, a young woman bet him that she could make him say three words. Coolidge dryly replied, "You lose."
In relationships, you are steady, diplomatic, a stabilizing peace-maker. At times, when people are being very demanding or tension is high, you find yourself withdrawing to be alone--and then you may be accused of being apathetic or indifferent. As a phlegmatic, you would probably prefer that the whole dating process did not require so much effort. Nonetheless, once you are involved in a serious relationship, you will be reliable and faithful.
For more info, this site explains in depth about a phlegmatic: https://temperamenttest.org/en-us/phlegmatic/
Do note that there are four types of temperaments- Phlegmatic, Melancholic, Sanguine and Choleric.
USUALLY, the first two are for introverts, and the last two are for extroverts. In terms of emotions, one whose temperament is "P" or "S" is emotionally stable, but the unstable ones are those who are "M" or "C". Try a test to see where you fall into.
I took the test 4 times- two under Catholic Match, one on TemperamentTest and one on OSPP Four Temperaments Test, so I will accept being a phlegmatic. So then, I may not be depressed, but better be able to get to the gym often!
The Temperament Test
(you can also find it on other sites, like https://temperamenttest.org/)
RESULT: 73% Phlegmatic/27% Melancholic
(Corollary- Took test on OSPP Four Temperaments Test [ https://openpsychometrics.org/ ]:
RESULT WITH SCORES (least)0-24(most)- Phelgmatic 18, Sanguine 15, Choleric & Melancholic are both 7.)

Personality Test 1-Sex values
General | Posted 3 years agoYou may have seen me do this on Twitter, but decided to go ahead and make a repost here so that everyone who would want to find me as their mate can take a look at this. Of course, I did do the DISC and Myers-Briggs test that is shown on my page, but of course, there is more to me than those! So in case this test is gone from my Twitter history, here is what I did on the website, http://sexvalues.github.io :
Deviant- 53.1% : 46.9%-Pure
Attraction:
Female leaning-78.6%
Sex Drive:
Hypersexual-84.4%
Dominance Axis:
Switch-50% (EXACTLY 1:1 on dominant and submissive)
Deviance axis
Deviant- 53.1% : 46.9%-Pure
(Considered balanced on their terms.)
Affection Axis
62.5% Affective (remaining is hedonist)
More personality tests along the way...
General | Posted 3 years agoIt would seem to be beneficial for me to keep knowing myself, and it can be beneficial for all of you who would stumble on my page anytime soon. Since you have seen my page uptop where we have the Myers-Briggs personality from https://www.16personalities.com and The DISC test that you would find by Tony Robbins: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/disc-landing-form/ , there's a whole lot more about me that you would like to know, and thanks to a paper I had kept for 24 years, I can retake an archetype test by Carl Jung (If you want to do it online, here is a link: https://www.psychologistworld.com/t.....archetype-quiz ). I would want to be taking it on paper so I can see the top 3 archetypes I would qualify for. When I first did one, I was considered a "warrior". Well, as time passes, some personalities would change, so it would be nice to retake some of these tests. And since I'm trying to find a female date, if I find a personality quiz, I will put that up as well.
Currently, I'm on www.eharmony.com, and well, there are MANY things there that describe me! It would not appropriate to post it here-it will be long. However, if you're a female and open and want to search for me, you can look up my real name that is listed on my main page by clicking the "C" of the Tony Robbins DISC Test there and you will find it. There is a simpler test on a dating site that I'll want to retake- since I'm Roman Catholic, I could put up the result I have on https://www.catholicmatch.com to show y'all what I am-there are 4 "temperaments". From there, you would have a rough idea about how my personality, morals and interests are. So if it is that my type matches yours, we can be friends or if female, we can take it a step further if we decide to! Though FA is not a dating and friendship search site, I would like to have more friends within the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose-Sacramento-Monterey Megapolis, and I can go outside of it too with those that would go ahead and be aligned with what have been brought up with in life. So stay tuned, it could be next week that I will put out more of me here, and I will compose a designated journal about me describing my personality overall. See you then...

FC Journal #5 (FINALE- J 2/2)
General | Posted 3 years agoThe con is now over.
But I do have something to tell you, FC has broken a record of attendees:
It was fantastic after 2 years of cancellations that it has bounced back and it has fueled many hearts with lots of happiness, vibes, friendships and for some, love. For this con, it was filled with great moments and memories that can be unforgettable, and you may tell when I do post pictures soon for the fursuiters and the events that occured. You will soon see that at the beginning of the con, there is something from the local free newspaper, Metro hailing that the animals are back- Hooray, the newspaper is giving furries respect!: https://www.metrosiliconvalley.com/.....ention-center/ Upcoming, there will be a picture of this that I took-will be posted on FA eventually. Let's hope that 2024, there will be this again, especially if it were on the TV news channels....
If you remember the Roll Call I posted earlier for those that I saw on Twitter that are going to FC, I will see if I have reached my goal of getting pictures of at least half of what I posted up in the journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10441593/ If it is that I do meet that quota, then I will consider the con for me a success in meeting goals. If it is that I do get 80% which is 47 furs out of 58, then I will want to go and volunteer for the con and hopefully do enough to maybe get a Lion award from the FC staff.
A very important thing at one point in the con was that some attendees do notice that I somehow when I feel like it, talk iambically or rhyme. SO, this would mean that I can be a natural in perhaps doing poetry! I do not know if anyone would like, but I will give it a try for the FF'dom to read and hopefully absorb the nicety of poetry. Since I can speak some Spanish and French, I will try that as well!
I did dance most of the Dead Dog, and it was fun. With the final DJ
Midekai playing, I did go and dance on stage-it was what I wanted to do to finish out the whole con, and I had a blast. Really, for many that have came, I'm sure that they would say the same thing as well. I was able to overhear that when FC was cancelled, I did hear from one staff that is was unbelievable that a substitute FC MEETUP was held-she was involved and it was at the San Jose State campus ( https://www.sjsu.edu ), but what was on in 2022 was that some from as far as upstate New York attended- you remember the FC:Unleashed! winner,
Fabgeroo? THAT UPSTATE NEW YORKER DID COME TO POP-UP FC LAST YEAR! WOW!! Also, the SJSU Students there were able to make a furry group there! So FC is really a con that is REALLY popular, and the FF'dom would suffer greatly if all of a sudden FC were to die. Yes like today, good things can come to an end and nothing would last forever, but let us hope that FC can be around for a LONG TIME-it would help us start the New Year after the hustle and bustle of the last year's holidays. Sure, there is the Japan Meeting of Furries and Anthro Northeast, but I think FC would be the premier con to get away from such year-end stress. We'd have to thank Martin Luther King Junior and Ronald Regan for making the third Monday in January possible.
One last thing, do look at Twitter- there is a TV with Camera that takes photos of fursuiters and posts them on Twitter. It is FurConAI: https://twitter.com/FurConAI . Do take a look at the antics the fursuiters and attendees have done there! Of course, I have appeared on the 16th waving for the last time, and acting all sad that the last hours of the con is near.
Related if you remember the last journal where I did a skit of Tony Bennett's song, "I Left my Heart in San Francisco": https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10447618/ I was getting very enotional as I was the last fursuiter at the time in the convention center. I nearly cried because of this- Bennett's song would be in his concerts, a finale, and me dancing to it would be a finale to the con itself and I did turn blue. However, when I attended Dead Dog, I still had that blueness, and when I found
Shadowcheetah passing out envelopes of Emergency Con Depression Kits, I was sad and I did break down. Shadow felt sympathy towards me, and he gave me a great big, long hug to comfort me. I thank him- really, if you ever see Shadow at FC or any con, value him GREATLY-his heart is like a diamond. I hope you all will find that cheetah in other cons-he's a wonderful soul.
A last thing, if you have heard of Ghost Cabbit (He has no FA, but a Twitter: https://twitter.com/GhostCabbit?s=20&t=AmRV2_AlwcaUWRmg1vYJCw FA pic is here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35006236/) he was the one that posted that FurConAI Twitter, and it was yesterday that it was his birthday-he got a Lion award from FC for his devotion in making FC great. I congratulate him!
And so that is it for my Further Confusion experience, I made more friends and learned more stuff that I missed. I did miss it, and I'm glad that it has returned. There will be a 2024 iteration! Despite that the theme was not announced at-con, there was a leak from Fur Con Dances about the theme.... : https://twitter.com/FurConDances/st.....97172609462272
So get ready, it can be space themed, and despite that 2013 it was "The Furbidden Planet", I think there will be more of stars, Galaxies and even something from Star Wars and/or Star Trek included. Prepare yourselves!
But I do have something to tell you, FC has broken a record of attendees:
2023 FURCON HAS A RECORD OF 5388 ATTENDEES!!!

So now, to the 5388 that have been here, thanks for everything. I saw you all from far away make it here- there's one from the NETHERLANDS make it here! Keep coming, San Jose is welcome to international furs as well! You all were sensational, and I like you all. Do have safe travels-the weather can get bad. I hope we can meet again here in San Jose, CA, and I hope to room at-con this time.
Now stay tuned for the FC fursuit uploads-I hope with my elephant brain will give you great memories!
It was worth the wait! I hope the pandemic ends so we can enjoy Furcon a whole lot more. This year, FC proves that even a dangerous virus and a rain with floods will not stop it-The show must go on!
Once again, thanks you all for everything-it was all of you that made the con great! See you again for 2024!!
GOODBYYYEEEEEE!!!
*With happy tears, I wave you all goodbye.*
