New Year's Resolution
Posted 12 years agoAright so I have resolved myself this year to end my self-delusions of thinking that I am a "writer."
Lets face it, all I've written so far are a bunch of poems and a couple short stories :P
As of now, I am putting all my ideas into action.
I am not just going to try and complete 1 book this year, BUT FOUR BOOKS!!!
Sounds crazy, but I've realized that other than just laziness, the reason I haven't been able to focus on writing out one idea into a book is because I get bored writing about the same topic for an extended period of time and want to go do something else. This way, if I get bored about writing one idea I can just move to other ideas instead of not writing at all. Makes sense right? Well in my crazy mind it does xP
One of the books will be anthro/adventure and will prolly be the only one getting posted here.
One is a really neat philisophical/sci-fi book that is surprisingly original and hasnt been done in any way before. It deals with space travel, planet exploration, evolution, and what we perseve as "God."
One is a realistic fiction novel dealing with the tragic battle of Saipan in WWII. (This is the one I'm the most excited about)
One is a fictional novel whose story revolves around a cigar roller in Nicaragua during the revolutions that took place there in the 80s, the aftermath of the 90s, and probably extending into modern day.
I'm posting this so my lazy ass sees it everytime I log on as a reminder to keep writing
Wish me luck ^^
Book 1: Anthro________Status: Outlining
Book 2: Sci fi/Philo_____Status: Outlining
Book 3: Saipan________Status: Researching
Book 4: Nicaragua _____Status: On hold
Book 4: Vikings________Status: Outlining & Researching

I don't even have to cast my wizard spells---
Posted 13 years agoSo, apparently it has been confirmed that a fabric has been developed that can bend the light around a subject making them appear invisible. How fucked up is that?
