An Introspective <March 3rd, 2025>

Last year, I posted a 'Crucial Update!' because I was under the illusion that I'd be doing more in that year. Funny how things work out...
A lot has changed for me in the past year, but If I had to sum up how I felt about 2024. There IS going to be serious topics ahead, so if you just want the tl;dr here it is:
I'm not leaving. I'm figuring out how I want to do this. No apologies. No promises. Tell me your favorite story that I wrote. If you're also feeling extra generous, I'd love to know why. For the stories, do you prefer the edited google text documents, a simple text file planted on furaffinity, or a microsoft word document?

2024 wasn't good for me.
What I thought was a good, solid 'real' job into the world as an adult; something to get me on my own two feet, was essentially shut down. My boss essentially denied my first step without ever really firing me, instead having me jump through hoops upon hoops until she outright dropped the act and said 'No.' I quit at the end of my shift that day.
Even though I summarized that within a small paragraph, that entire debacle lasted from October 2023 all the way to May 2024. And while I could go into detail about what, I won't.
All of that essentially killed any motivation I had writing for the entire year. Mentally exhausted from studying and with no clear way of doing MANY of my New Year resolutions, I tried doing the one I still could:
I went to the Doctor to start the long process of knowing: Do I have ADHD?
Yes, yes I do. And oh fucking boy, I wasn't ready for the slope to start being wavy because while I genuinely was happy I did this, it also made me think about a lot in my life. How much I either missed out on, struggled with, or just simply wouldn't do because of the fear 'what if I can't? what if i fuck up again? what if i'm not good enough' all those damning thoughts, while they never went away, having diet meth to help me focus was something I never really expected to have nor to appreciate. The before and after is like night and day.
Learning to focus was the next hurdle I would try to overcome in 2024 as that was something that the medical professionals I spoke with explained that's something I'd need to learn.
It's not easy and I'm still learning how to focus without getting distracted, but I'm getting better.
AND TO END OFF THE YEAR, IT'S COMING IN WITH A STEEL CHAIR TO SMACK ME WITH... my car died. It's still dead. It's old, wasn't taken care of by the previous owners, and imo would cost more to repair then it's currently worth. What a fucking way to end the year.
I've been thinking about what I want to do. A lot. The medicine made it more clear for me and has allowed me to properly dedicate time to this. Even if no one really reads this, I need somewhere to type this shit out and get it off my chest without rattling off into the void for the Xth time.

What do I want to do with Writing?
I want to write a book! I want to make smut for friends~ I want to tell intrinsic and serious stories with characters that people could care about! I also want my characters to experience the type of brainrot that I get on one of those really good days~
So much that I WANT and it just all doesn't feel feasible, at least not with how I'm handling stuff.
I believe I could do a mix of serious and smutty stories on here in the same setting, I'm confident enough in my writing ability; especially my character writing, that if I went down that path, I think people would enjoy it.
But, as some of y'all probably caught... none of it is about me just simply enjoying the act of creating by itself.
On some days, I love it, on most it's a hit or miss type thing.
My brain craves all types of instant gratification from mainly my ADHD raddled brain that will always choose the short term gratification over the long term despite the latter being better for me in the long run.

So, I'm entering 2025 with hope. I am trying to create a schedule that I can stick to.
If anyone is curious what my New Year's Resolutions are, they're:
Save up a nest egg. (I actually did this one already, yay!)
Get a new (to me) car.
Write 100 words every day. (I already lost this one technically, but I'm still doing this because I want to know how often I can do it. I've missed 3 days out of the year so far compared to almost 2 full months of otherwise steady progress, I'm happy.)
Introduce Fable via Stories (1 of 5? stories; my sona
Introduce Clementine via Stories (0 of 7?)
New Refs for my main cast. (While I do not have complete control over this, I intend to do as much as I can. If I didn't get anymore, I'd be happy with the progress I made.)
Fable, Faye, Lucia, and Clementine. (Fable is the only one done so far; more on that soon.)

I am still writing. I have a handful of stories I'm sitting on that NEED proofreading before I post 'em as well as a few commissions that I want to post, but haven't gotten around to doing just that.
Including a new reference sheet for Fable! AAAAAAAH, I'm so happy with it and I wanna share, but I need a day or two... or whatever how long until I actually do it. Hopefully me talking about it means I actually end up doing it.
I've considered posting on Twitter and Blusky. Obviously, it doesn't hurt to, but again, I need to actually do it instead of considering it.
I've thought about opening a Patreon for art money, but idk what services I'd even offer besides it being a tip jar for each non-commission story posted and maybe access to all stories before I proofread 'em?
I've no clue honestly, I'm deciding my schedule as we speak and despite me typing this all down around 6pm on a Sunday, it's now 2am on a Monday and I have work in like 7 hours, so I'll leave it here. Let me know which of my stories are y'alls favorite and if you're feeling extra generous, why ya love em. Talk to y'all later while I can't promise I won't go silent for a full year, I'm certainly gonna try not doing that.

Crucial Update! <February 23rd, 2024>
Posted a year agoHello y'all, how is everyone?
It's VERY late, but Happy New Year to you all and I hope it's been going well for y'all because goddamn it hasn't been nice for me.
Following my last post I got caught up in a lot of irl stuff and while I won't go into all of it, let me breakdown what was going on.
I left a rather bland job.
In turn, I got a job with a lot of upsides and potential!
Soon following that, I got sick... with Covid.
My first time with Covid and it stuck around for a month... when I just started my new job...
Fun, yeah. What if I told you after I got better, I got Bronchitis.
I was sick from December to Early February.
This means I'm better baby! Mostly.
I'll be posting a story that I was going to post in Christmas (but kinda forgot) along with a few pieces of art.
I can't promise consistent commission art posts or story posts. That being said, I still do want to post.
I got a lot to post art-wise. Story-wise, not so much.
If you read this, thank you. I appreciate it!

For the past month and half now, I've been dealing with irl stuff. To name a few, the big ones have been:
Job Hunting
Getting a New Job
Job Hunting some more
Dealing with Car Issues
Writing on the side
Car Breaking
I got a new part time job and while it's nothing fantastic, It's something for me to make money with in the meantime that isn't just writing.
On the other hand, I am looking for something better, but admittedly it's hard in my area without being into Nursing (which is an avenue I'm considering at this point).
My only car at this point decided... well, something broke from being worn down.
To give y'all an idea: I own 2010 Chrysler 300. I bought it used a few years back and I've been using it since. I've have to fix it up here and there as that's the caveat of buying a used car off of a random person instead of a dealership, but honestly, I'm glad I don't have to make monthly payments.
I used my key to turn the ignition on. Usually, you can turn it back to turn the car off... but it stopped doing that. It was effectively stuck. I could take the key out and I eventually found a way to turn off the car manually through messing with the battery and something under the hood. This wasn't good for any sort of long term though, so I've been borrowing my brother's car in the meantime.
I made an appointment and only recently was I able to take my car to them.
I'm not car savvy. I might as well be ignorant to what makes a car function besides: Key goes in = Car goes vroom.
Looking up how much this would cost to repair and I was getting $200 to $900 from Google. While that sucks, It wasn't terr—
It was terrible. Oh dear god, it fucking sucked.
I looked up the wrong thing. My Receiver for the car stopped functioning fully.
What's a Receiver? It's the electronic equivalent of a Transmission (my car isn't fully electronic).
What's a Transmission? It's what makes the car fully function.
'Geez, that must be expensive! How much?'
The total I was given for needing to: Order and Replace the parts while also programing them so the car can function...
$1700~ to $2000~
Yeah. This isn't money I exactly have ON HAND.
Thankfully, friends and family have financially helped to assure me that I can pay this.
I'll just have to pay them back.
I'm not going to beg for money. I hated asking my friends and family for help, asking for strangers... might as well just strangle me instead. It'll be easier for me to deal with.
THAT ALL BEING SAID... I still need money.
So I'm here to ask a huge question:
How would y'all feel about me opening and taking writing commissions?
This is something I've pondered with as I've been open to friends for a long time, but fans and strangers, I've been hesitant on.
If I do end up opening commissions, I'll go over it all in more detail, but please let me know.
This all leads to...
My process goes like this.
I write the story; this can take 1 day to 2 weeks depending on what's going on at the time.
I send it to a friend to proofread; this can take 3 days to 2 weeks depending on what he's doing.
Ideally, while he's doing that, I'm getting to work on the next story. However, there have been times where we both just don't do that and we play games together cause irl stress and bullshit.
When he's done, I usually ask the commissioner (or pull from one of my art pieces if it's my story) for a picture.
I throw it into Gimp and make the thumbnail.
Then I send it out onto platforms like FA.
I post it to a few discord servers.
Then I send out 1 to 2 pieces of art. Speaking of...
So, I couldn't get much art until I got my job and immediately after the car issues started to happen. I was hoping to save money so I could fix the car up, but that's not the case. Any commissions I wanted to get; no matter how sad it made me, I had to ultimately cancel as the funds have to go to something more important.
I still have art I've yet to post though! Even one piece from before the car issues, but... I like posting art with my stories. Even if the art isn't related, it helps give my stories more traction. Mix that with my VERY limited backlog of art and y'all can imagine why I haven't been posting anything for a while.
As much as I enjoy doing them, this sudden car issues means I need to value money over what I want to do.
I still want to do more with Fable and Faye, you can count on that!
I also have been asked in private about stuff for gift art. I originally was going to put this off until I got new refs for Fable and Faye (had to cancel them and they'll stay canceled until I can get these car troubles done), but as for gift art...
Anything related to Pinups, Breeding, Cum Inflation, Growth, Vore (Pred) and Pregnancy are a-ok and you're free to do that as you want ^^
Inflation (besides Cum), Corruption, and Vore (Not Pred) are stuff I would prefer to be asked about before hand as my tastes are picky in those regards.
After that, I have a Private Scene and Two Open Short Story commissions that I need to tend to. Once those are done... well, I'll see where I can go from there <3

Where I've been.

Posted 2 years agoOk! So, I kinda missed last week's posting and I realized I should really tell y'all what's up instead of leaving y'all in the dark.
Last week was my birthday! I spent all week hanging with friends and family. I also hosted the open bar on that Saturday from my phone so I could still chat with y'all!
As for stories: A lot of the stories y'all seen me post were from last year. The only two stories I completed this year were 'An Ego Weighed' and 'Project Rainbow'; both of which were massive in both word count, for a total of 30k words between the two.
I didn't want to get burned out so May has been a break for me. No writing.
I plan on writing more next month and to give y'all an update on what projects I have in the future... well-

As y'all can see, I have a lot of ahead of me. Truthfully, the Pokemon ones aren't too high of a priority and the gifts/trades will happen when they happen, but the 'First Prey' story and the commission projects are the highest on the priority list for me.
After I'm done with ALL that + a chapter or two of Fable's story, I plan on opening 3 commission slots; just to get a feel to see how I can handle stuff.

As for stories: A lot of the stories y'all seen me post were from last year. The only two stories I completed this year were 'An Ego Weighed' and 'Project Rainbow'; both of which were massive in both word count, for a total of 30k words between the two.
I didn't want to get burned out so May has been a break for me. No writing.
I plan on writing more next month and to give y'all an update on what projects I have in the future... well-

As y'all can see, I have a lot of ahead of me. Truthfully, the Pokemon ones aren't too high of a priority and the gifts/trades will happen when they happen, but the 'First Prey' story and the commission projects are the highest on the priority list for me.
After I'm done with ALL that + a chapter or two of Fable's story, I plan on opening 3 commission slots; just to get a feel to see how I can handle stuff.

I have put up my Discord info on FA for everyone to see. I don't want to hide it. That being said, I will if things get too crazy.
I don't have a lot of free time nowadays. I simply can't make light conversation with everyone that comes my way. I already struggle doing that with my actual friends on Discord.
If you have a question about something that that's one of these, then you can message me on Discord, otherwise stick to FA notes or my Open Bar Journal entries, please.

Posted 2 years agoHello once more. This time it's less of an introduction and more rules and other boring stuff like that as well as answering a few more potential questions.
So, as a mouse who is grabbing the attention of some very wonderful people, I do have to speak up now before it blows up into something messier.
Can I RP with you?
No. As much as I appreciate the offer (and the chance to practice a bit) I must decline completely. However, this leads to another question...
Can I RP with your characters?
Yes. Truthfully, I can't stop people from taking my characters/art and running off to some degenerate corner of the web to get their rocks off. It's just how life is online within the furry community.
So I'm going to allow it.
I will ask you stick to a few rules when using my characters/art for anything.
1. Never claim them as your own.
These characters and art pieces are mine. Simple as. Fable and Faye are my sonas. Lucia was my first NSFW character. Future characters I post refs for are mine. Respect that.
In that same vain, list my FA somewhere. It doesn't matter if you use Imgur, F-list or what have you, put my FA somewhere in there so that people know who they belong to.
I don't care if you change their names for whatever reason.
2. Have fun.
Have fun with it. That's all I can really ask. Rp'ing is about two or more people making a collaborative effort to write a story; lewd or not.
If it's a good story, be sure to share some details in the notes, I'm always excited to hear about stuff (as long as it's in my interests).
(Hell, if there's enough interest in people wanting to use Fable, Faye, Lucia, or Doctor Clementine, I'll make an F-list for them myself that y'all can use)

Hi. I'm Fable. Also go by Fable Nights, but that's neither here nor there.
Fable is also my Fursona. You've probably seen him if you scrolled through my gallery for even a few seconds.
I am a 24 year old guy; soon to be 25.
I was born on May 21st, 1998.
I was born and raised in Texas where I still live to this day.
My favorite color is blue.
I love mice.
Fable is a grasshopper mouse. I picked that type because grasshopper mice (also known as howling mice, wolf mice, werewolf mice) are the only types of mice that are carnivorous.
Plays well with the vore fetish thing I have going on with me being a Pred.
I'm not really a huge media person. Most of my stuff comes from YouTube and Twitch, but its starting to be less and less of that.
My life long goal; my endgame essentially is to be a Full Time Professional Writer. This includes also publishing a book of my own and; if I'm lucky, maybe even have people who'll support me.
