I've been thinking of doing something a little different, and I'm just kind of scanning for interest if anyone actually, you know, reads journals, let alone mine, but if I were to do a short series, told from the eyes of trainer pokemon as they are captured and dragged through an adventure, not unlike the games, told as journal entries and from an actual like, in-game pokemon world (mostly so I don't have to come up with everything -- creativity is hard when you don't have a brain or other functioning organs).

With this in mind, which gen's town and general world would you like to see represented in the stories?

For reference, there's:

Kanto (Gen 1 - pallet town, viridian city, pewter city, etc)
Johto (Gen 2 - new bark town, violet city, azalea town, etc)
Hoenn (Gen 3 - littleroot town, petalburg city, rustboro city, etc)
Sinnoh (Gen 4 - twinleaf town, jublife city, oreburgh city, etc)
Unova (Gen 5 - nuvema town, striation city, nacrene city, etc)
Kalos (Gen 6 - vaniville town, santalune city, lumiose city, etc)
Alola (Gen 7 - iki town, hau'oli city, heahea city, etc)

It'll be a little while before I start working on this, so feel free to offer input! It'll be told with my... let's say, unique narrative voice and follow a plot of my own devising, rather than the game's plot. The gen is just there to make things a little easier for me in terms of things like badges and towns, y'know.

Well, we're about halfway through May somehow. I live in a completely different area, and life is basically awful. On the plus side, it can't get much more awful than it was!

It's enough to make me want to die, if I wasn't already dead, so that's a pain in the metaphorical rear. Being a ghost does have some pesky disadvantages.

So as I settle into this new area, I'll start getting some of the stuff I've been working on idly up, and get back to some more of the stuff I have planned. Like, you know, more everything.

My sweet helix, this last month sucked. I spent more time in hospitals than I did at home! And I'm supposed to be dead!


So! being in and out of hospitals and generally dealing with health and life has sort of put a damper on me. I have been writing, I've just been slower about editing and finishing stuff up because I've been just... busy.

But I'm on medical leave from work now, so I can at least get this nonsense sorted out and go back to a somewhat normal afterlife.
