Posted 11 years agoI'm going to be slow going until after I get back from OniCon. Thank you for your understanding.

Gone for the weekend
Posted 11 years agoI have friends coming from Denton and Austin this weekend so I'm distracted.
If you need me for anything, just skype me. I always always always respond immediately if I'm awake and you gave me money.

Posted 11 years agoThursday-Monday Halloween weekend
Galveston beach
MUST BE AT LEAST 18, 21 PREFERRED
Talk to us about carpooling, we have cars leaving from Houston, Dallas, and Abeline.
We run registration, mostly sitting down, checking people in, and hand out badges. Light load in/out
Expenses paid for the most part with some financial compensation, usually first timers get 50 bucks. We generally don't give people spending cash but things like food, drinks, booze are covered. We eat well. We are sensitive to special diets.
-You will sleep in a bed or on an air mattress, no more than 2 on a bed.
-This isn't normal volunteer work if you have ever worked a convention before.
-This is actual work but it's also actual fun.

HellO new watchers, tell me something interesting!
Posted 11 years agoTo be honest I would love to go to each and every person's page and say something but it would take me a really long time. I'm so happy to see so many of you watching me, how about you say something about yourself here instead? Or share some music for me to listen to tomorrow.
Because I'm super worn out and going to bed.

UPDATES
Posted 11 years agoNot a whole lot to update but I thought I might say something anyway before I get started on work this morning.
I've got a ton of duct tape dummies in now, I'll probably get started on them more after I move. Right now I'm working to get the gray wolf and Nitro's spare sleeves/fan out by the 1st. After that a lot of foamwork and small parts.
I would like to get to the point where I can finish a fullsuit every 6 weeks. I think that is a really reasonable goal.

Posted 11 years agoQuotes are closed, slots are full, swatches are being ordered, all is well.
Going to have a gray wolf coming through in the next few weeks, also some customer refurbs.
All of you new peoples are going to start being addressed after that. So excited about getting to know all of you and making you furry things.

QUOTES PLZ READ
Posted 11 years agoThere are a few of you that I sent acceptance letters to that haven't responded. If I don't her from y'all by the end of the day I'm continuing down the list.
THOSE WHO GOT A QUOTE BUT NO ACCEPTANCE LETTERS you still have once last chance to make it on my list. If you're reading this and have serious plans of commissioning me but weren't in my first batch *note me* and I'll add you to my short list if I get drop outs.
Thank you very much and have a great holiday.

Life changes
Posted 11 years agoAs some of you may or may not know, I have been taking care of my grandma full-time for the past 4 years. Fursuit building was just a second income/hobby. Well, as of last week it was neccisary for grams to go to a nursing home, possibly indefinitely. So this gave me two choices.
Keep working for the company in some office job, 9-5 sort of thing.
Take a legitimate shot at making fursuits my full-time thing.
I've chosen to continue making fursuits (with the immense emotional support from my wonderful boyfriend). It's scary and overwhelming but I think I can do this. This will effect how many customers I can take and it may change how fast I can make them. So those are good things.
I'll be sending out e-mails to those I"ve chosen over the next two days.

UPDATED TOS. This is a rough draft. I'll add more soon.
Posted 11 years agoI'm still hashing out my new TOS, it will be prepared in a few days. You were interested in just the money part so here it is. If you have any other tos questions I'll be more than happy to answer them.
*MONIES*
35 percent fee is non-refundable and due at the date of acceptance or within 3 business days and goes towards the total balance. This 35% non-refundable deposit is put in place to cover my losses in time, money, energy, and materials. I accept paypal mainly but will accept money orders.
The balance needs to be paid in full before the suit is mailed. You are responsible for shipping. Generally shipping for a fullsuit is in the 50 dollar range.
I am fairly laid back with my payment plans. My turn around is 4-6 months depending on complexity so keep that in mind. You can pay me off quick or we can split the balance up over a few months. Generally people who miss a payment just get pushed to the back of the que, causing delays in completion.
If I've had your suit finished for more than 60 days I'll start charging rent at 100 dollars a month and we will decide on a payment plan that will work for both of us. If your suit has been finished for 4 months without any attempt at payments and little conversation I reserve the right to refund what you have paid minus the deposit, modify the suit so it doesn't resemble the original and sell it at auction.
My suits come with a 30 day warranty. If something doesn't fit or if there happens to be a problem with something we can talk about it. If it's something you can't fix yourself just put it back in a box, ship it back to me, take a picture of the receipt with tracking and I will reimburse you and pay to ship it back.
If you ever need a refurb, refurbs are always free as long as you pay shipping.
Everything needs to be shipped back clean. Your suit will be shipped with a care pack of tutorials and things you need to keep the suit clean.
*DURING THE COMMISSION PROCESS*
You will have my skype or my e-mail address. Skype is by far the quickest way to contact me for small questions and to exchange wip. I enjoy customers who give me feedback and are involved in the process.
You will get foamwork approval, pattern approval, and approval of everything before it's shipped out.
*WHAT I NEED FROM YOU*
I need a hand trace. On the hand trace you can write the measurements I need and will outline for you.
DTD if applicable. If you need help in finding an appropriate tutorial I can help with that. If the dummy is poorly made, if the arms aren't extended fully, if there aren't marks to show how the dummy needs to be put back together, I may request a new one be made at the cost of the customer so if you need help please ask!
I have cats and I live on a horse ranch. If you have severe allergies please let me know so I can take extra care with your project.
*THINGS I DON'T DO*
Designs you don't have a right to make copies of
Extra zippers or holes
Deadlines of less than 4 months for large commissions. Exceptions can be made but only if payment is made 75-100 percent up front.
*WHEN TO CONTACT ME DURING A COMMISSION*
I am always very excited to hear from clients before, during, and after the commission process but please try to contact me after 8:30 am central and before 12:30 am central.
Need anything else? Have any questions? let me know how I can help you.

OPENING FOR COMMISSIONS
Posted 11 years agoAfter talking it out I've decided I'll open for quotes again now that a lot of my work list is gone and choose new projects on September 2nd.
Send me your ref sheet and I'll give you a quote
On the 2nd I'll go through and let everyone I picked know they have been chosen and that is when the deposit would be due.

MONDAY GAGE IS SHIPPING OUT AND THE PURPLE KITTY IS SHIPPING OUT.
MONDAY GAGE IS SHIPPING OUT AND THE PURPLE KITTY IS SHIPPING OUT.
Updates and when I'm opening again.
Posted 11 years agoI have a bunch of stuff that I'm dropping off at A-fest this weekend! It's crunch time for me. After that I have two more crunch time deadlines.
It's coming to a point in my life where I'm scare and excited. It looks like boyfriend and I will be moving in together in December. I'm not entirely sure if I'll take commissions knowing I'll have a few weeks of downtime but when I take a new batch I probably won't take any hard deadlines until I get settled in.
Finally, I'll have room for a real photo setup!
